FaceTime not able to end calls

when using face time I can video call with good quality but when unable to end call or change camera the touch screen is frozen
the other person has to end the call
using a 16gb iPad air with 8.1.3

Most likely it's a bug in their system. However you may wish to report this to them if you are Apple Developer like I am! Hope this helps!

    If so, this is NOT an iPhone! It is NOT made or sold by Apple. You have a cheap Chinese knockoff.

    Please describe the symptoms. Also, where did you get the phone, who is your carrier, is the phone officially unlocked by Apple or the carrier, or was it "unofficially" unlocked if you are not using it with the carrier it was originally locked to.

    You should contact customer service to clarify, wheter your subscrition is the cause, or if Skype is blocked (some countries do block Skype) or otherwise unusable in the country in question.

    I am not able to make call from mobile device , i was using this till 18th Feb and after that i cannot make calls. I am using Express VPN to use skype and i checked the express VPN and it is working fine. I can make calls from my PC and laptop using express VPN.   • FaceTime on MBP not able to receive calls only send

    I have two MBP on my home network connected via wire and two iPads connecting wirelessly.  MBP1/iPad1 can make FT calls to MBP2/iPad2 (...both would ring simultaneously).  However, when MBP2/iPad2 tries to FT call, only iPad2 receives the inbound FT call.  MBP2 does not receive it.  Is there something in MBP2 (some setting) that's allowing it to make outgoing calls but "blocking" incoming calls?

    To troubleshoot this issue where one of your Macs is unable to receive a FaceTime call, please follow the steps outlined below.
    Troubleshooting FaceTime for Mac
    You can make FaceTime calls using the FaceTime app. You can call FaceTime users whose contact information is in Contacts. You can add contacts and edit contact information in either FaceTime or Contacts. To place a video call, you may use a phone number or email address.
    If you encounter issues making or receiving FaceTime calls, try the following:
    Verify that FaceTime is enabled in FaceTime > Preferences.If the issue persists, or if you see the message "Waiting for Activation", try toggling FaceTime off and then on.
    Verify that the Date, Time, and Time Zone are set correctly:
    From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences > Date & Time > Date & Time.
    Enable "Set Automatically".
    Click the Time Zone tab and confirm the closest city is correct.
    Verify that both parties are connected to an active broadband Internet connection.

    Consult Using FaceTime behind a firewall for necessary ports to open in firewalls, security software and routers.

  • Not Able to Make Calls

    I have 4 phones that have worked without issues.  Recently I added FamilyBase to monitor and manage usage.  Ever since I added FamilyBasase e I have not been able to make phone calls from my home area (rural).  I am on an extended network due to the fact that I live in a rural area.  The other 3 phones that are also on the FamilyBase are able to make calls and have no issues. 
    Please advise.

    Your account shows that you have used your full minutes allocation in your current billing cycle and your next minutes will be added to your account when your next billing cycle starts on  June 17th 2015.
    Renewing your monthly Subscription before your billing cycle ends has no effect on the date upon which your minutes allocation will be added to your account.
    To continue calling until your next minutes allocation is applied to your account please purchase either a Subscription but with a different amount of minutes or Skype Credit.

    I am trying to make a script like
    thank you for calling XYZ Company if you know the extension please dial it now or press 0 for assitance.
    I have created a script in Cisco Unfied CCX 7.1  Editor and i am able to send the calls to Users Ext's but i am not able to transfer the calls to operator when i pressed 0.
    I have attached the script where i am able to transfer the calls to Users ext successfully but i also want to transfer calls to operator when any body from outside press 0.
    Please review my attached script and let me know how i can do it to complete the rest.I have attached My script and also the snapshot.

    Add an integer varible named intCount and set it to 0.  I've added some lines and bolded them for you.  The first time the script asks for a number, intCount will be 0, the second time it will be 1, so the test will be false the second time and terminate the call.  I don't know what type of buisness you are in, but you may want to record a message telling them they are being disconnected and place it right before the terminate statement.

    I am using N70 and connects my laptop to internet with bluetooth or usb cable .
    I am not sure if this is problem with my N70 or this is as designed that I am not able to receive any calls when connected to internet.

  • Torch 9860 does not disconnect after ending call

    Hi,
    I have been having this peculiar problem with my blackberry torch 9860 smartphone for the past 1 week. After finishing a voicecall, in many situations the phone does not disconnect even if I press the end call button repeatedly. It just seems to "hang" for 30-40 seconds and then disconnect. Sometimes it dosconnects only if the person at the other end hangs up.
    Kindly help out in solving this issue 

    Try a Battery pull please, with the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot device. This will clear all cache like rebooting a PC. Then try again and see if your problem persists.

  • Why am I not able to "disable caller id"...the option is not available on my phone.

    It seems that others with the iPhone have many more options under the "phone" toggle. The only fields that I have are: My Number, TTY, Change Voicemail Password and International Assist. I believe that I should be able to "disable caller id". Am I correct? How do I get it? Last night, I downloaded the latest software.

    Classic programs are the pre-OS X programs. Up until 10.5 you could run OS 9 in Classic mode to run pre-OS X programs. The only way now to run Classic programs is to install 10.4 and then OS 9.2.

  • "Slide to call" will not let me end call

    The slide to call feature, aside from being a AMJOR security flaw, seems to have another bug, unless someone can help me. If I choose to "slide to call" a missed call, I can have a perfectly fine call, but when I am finished I cannot end the call.  All I get is the passcode lock screen, with a passcode already answered (not one I entered - it just looks populated). The only way to end the call seems to be to unlock the phone and end the call from there.
    So anyone can call back a missed call (even if my phone is locked) but I have to lunlock it to end the call. Tell me this is wrong - seriously wrong. Or fix it.
    I accidentally called someone back (foolishly thinking my phoen was locked), and then could not hang up - so they could still hear me, even though I assumed the call was ended (the "0" number looks slightly red so I assumed it was to be pressed to end the call - but there appears to be nothing on the website to tell you how this feature works - should I be able to hang up a call?, should I even be able to call someone back without unlocking the phone (which sounds so unbelievably luicrous for a locked phone)

    It sounds like it would be best for you to have the settings for phone notifications showing in the lock screen turned off. You can control these settings on your phone by navigating to the Notifications center in the Settings app, then find the Phone notifications settings, then flip the toggle switch for "Show in Lock Screen" to off.     As for addressing your issue with ending a call from the slide to return call feature, you may need to try to force close the phone app then test again, or reset the phone, then test again. I have two articles for you to help you with these troubleshooting steps, and they can be found here:
