FaceTime on MBP not able to receive calls only send

I have two MBP on my home network connected via wire and two iPads connecting wirelessly.  MBP1/iPad1 can make FT calls to MBP2/iPad2 (...both would ring simultaneously).  However, when MBP2/iPad2 tries to FT call, only iPad2 receives the inbound FT call.  MBP2 does not receive it.  Is there something in MBP2 (some setting) that's allowing it to make outgoing calls but "blocking" incoming calls?

To troubleshoot this issue where one of your Macs is unable to receive a FaceTime call, please follow the steps outlined below.
Troubleshooting FaceTime for Mac
You can make FaceTime calls using the FaceTime app. You can call FaceTime users whose contact information is in Contacts. You can add contacts and edit contact information in either FaceTime or Contacts. To place a video call, you may use a phone number or email address.
If you encounter issues making or receiving FaceTime calls, try the following:
Verify that FaceTime is enabled in FaceTime > Preferences.If the issue persists, or if you see the message "Waiting for Activation", try toggling FaceTime off and then on.
Verify that the Date, Time, and Time Zone are set correctly:
From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences > Date & Time > Date & Time.
Enable "Set Automatically".
Click the Time Zone tab and confirm the closest city is correct.
Verify that both parties are connected to an active broadband Internet connection.
See Mac OS X: Troubleshooting a cable modem, DSL, or LAN Internet connection.
Consult Using FaceTime behind a firewall for necessary ports to open in firewalls, security software and routers.
If you encounter issues using a Wi-Fi network, use standard Wi-Fi network troubleshooting to resolve interference and other issues.
Verify the phone number or email address being used is the correct one activated for FaceTime.You can verify that you are using a valid Apple ID at appleid.apple.com. You can also create an Apple ID or reset your password from this website.
Verify that both parties have installed the latest software updates for their Mac and/or device. See:

    I haven't gotten a new sim card because the problem has been presenting itself in various cards not only mine. So far, all I've done is reset my network settings.
    Last night, I turned off the 3G tab and it had all the signal bars. Today, I did the network reset and it's working apparently. But like I said before, previously the bars just disappear and the iphone only has the 3G activated.

    Recently, My Galaxy S4 will not make or receive calls or texts while connected to my home WIFI. The status bar WIFI icon is highlighted and the Connection Bar icon has 0 bars. When I check the WIFI connection in "settings" the status is connected and shows very strong strength. Any time I try to make a call or send a text I get a "no network error message" and basically I am dead in the water as far as cell phone use is concerned. My S4 is my primary phone for home and business use and is very inconvenient when I am missing calls, etc. I have done a phone reset and removed SIM Card as well as a rest. Please advise.

        jlrwillis, I know this would concern me just the same and we definitely want to figure this out for you. How long has this been going on? Since you started experiencing the issue have there been any changes to the device? Software updates, application downloads, or damage to the device? If WiFi is off while at home do you see that you are connected to cellular service? Are you able to make a call that way?

    I can successfully send e-mails, but am not able to receive any???

    Acouple of days ago, the verizon home page went belly up so I had to access e-mail directly through the Yahoo Mail home and start using that as my new home page. I concluded that this was because of the Verizon change over away from Yahoo.  Way to go Verizon, alienate a bunch of customers and don't provide change-over service.  The day before yesterday, what a relief!  I opened my verizon.net e-mail on yahoo and there was only a third the e-mails there to sort through for the day. I figured I was just lucky and I must have sorted them more recently then I thought.  The next day, yesterday, when I opened my e-mail, there were no incoming e-mails when I went to yahoo directly and I am now in my second hour of trying to get customer support for how to access my e-mails.  I only get 40 or 50 non-spams per day, but I use my e-mail records to keep track of some contacts which are very important to me.  I've been on the phone with internet e-mail customer support for an hour now, (One Hour) listening to the repeating hold message of    "We are experiencing an unusually busy period.  Your call is important to us.  Please stay on the line and your call will be answered in the order in which it was received.  Your approximate wait time is less than 30 minutes."  The message has been repeating this false iformation for the last hour and 10 minutes now.  The time period is not diminishing, counting down or changing at all.  Its just wrong.  Verizon is really trying hard to convince me to drop them and go with another company.  Why would a company do that to a long term steady paying customer?  How can they stay in business doing this with their customer service?   They have totally lost their minds!

    Follow the steps in the article below to try and resolve the issue:

  • IOS5.0.1 constant error "iPhone can not make or receive calls.  Restore from iTunes":  I get this message and the phone will no longer work (happend once while on airplain mode and now once while in wifi only area, out of cell range).  help!

    All- I get this message ("iPhone can not make or receive calls. Restore from iTunes" (happend once while on airplain mode and now once while in wifi only area, out of cell range)). iPhone 4.  Newest OS.  Never happened with old OS! Cycling phone on/off does not help.  Ignoring message causes phone to cycle off then on.  After first time this happened, I restored.  Six days later...same problem!  Clearly a new fix is necessary.  Suggestions? 

    I have not tried that...I will look up the process so that I can do it correctly (and still transfer all of my files, contacts, etc).  Any suggestions?  What is the advantage of restoring as a new device..is this more akin to a complete wipe of a hard drive?

    Finally I rest the phone to factory setting and

    settings>cellular>turn cellular data off>wait 10 seconds>then turn it back on and test
    if that fail
    settings>general>reset>reset network settings
