Facetime outbound calls not connecting

Hi!
I am using facetime on my iPhone 4s and my iPad within a home network using an Apple Airport Express. When my friend calls in everything is working as expected. When I try to initiate an outbound call the same persons' iPad does not even ring. When I put my devices off the WiFi network and use the network of my mobile carrier instead, everything is working fine again (even the outbound calls). So I guess it might be a problem with either my Airport Express or the cable modem. Unfortunately I couldn't find any remedy on the net and I am somewhat stuck on how to resolve this issue. Did anybody experience the same? How could it be resolved?

After trying everything, here,s what worked to me: go to settings - facetime, and when it asks how you want to be reached on facetime, uncheck the icloud email option. Hope it works!

Facetime ringing but not connecting

My daughter is trying to facetime her friend ipad to ipad - from both ends it is ringing, however it is not connecting.
My daughter has a new email and I have changed all apple/itunes/icloud id to new email - logged in and out to doublecheck but she has had facetime calls from family so we know it is working.
They have facetime before so we can't figure out the problem?? Would it be their end? They have also doublechecked they haven't made any mistakes their end typo wise.
Advice appreciated.

I have configured Common area phone and i am not able to make the outbound call. I have grant the conference policy. I have grant the voice policy.
client policy is default
How to troubleshoot the issue with outbound calls?

But good call, normalization rules may be off due to default global dial plan.

Adding *67 to all outbound calls NOT in my contacts?

Sorry if this is a redundant question, I could not find an answer on a search...is there any way to either block caller ID, or automatically insert a *67 when calling numbers NOT in my contacts? Thanks.

I know I can do that, but would like to have some way to do it automatically. I use my phone for both personal and work, and customers I call are not in my contacts, so it would be extremely helpful to have a way that when I call a number that's not in my contacts, that it automatically inserts a *67, or some other way to blcok outbound caller ID. I think the blackbery can do it, I was just curious if the iPhone can...but it sounds like it's not an option.

I was having the same problem. I've probably screwed things up royally by doing so, but I just went ahead and created another Apple ID with a different email address, and will inform anyone who I will be using FaceTime with to use the new one. I tried using the "multiple ID finder" thing but it only ever returned the ID I'm using right now; I can't verify the email address this ID is associated with for some reason.
It's a clusterfark.

Messaging, FaceTime and calling not working

I am having trouble sending iMessages, using FaceTime and calling only one contact. Each time I send an iMessage it says not delivered, when I try to call using FaceTime it pops up that the contact is not available for FaceTime and when I call the contact it goes to voicemail. Could they have me blocked?

Have you allowed either app through the MAc Firewall ?
(System, Preferences > Security > Firewall)
Are either app allowed though your Router ?
In fact what exactly do you mean by "Not Working" ?

FaceTime tells me "NOT CONNECTED" unless I'm on a known network. Cellular Data setting is "ON". Does anyone have any suggestions?

I just purchased the iPhone 4S (Verizon) (iOS5) and had no trouble using FaceTime on our home network. Left home, out of the range of my home network, tried using FaceTime again. Received "NOT CONNECTED" message, though "3G" with five bars showed I was connected to the cellular network and presumably within range of the cellular data network. Has anyone had similar issues? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

iPhone 4, iOS5, 3G is on with plenty of coverage. I don't get updates for any app. Only the same type of message "Connection Error, Could not connect to the [any] server. Make sure you have an active internet connection." With Wi-Fi everything is working just fine. Tried a reboot, but that's not making any difference.

Outbound calls not working

Hello,
We have a E1 R2 and outbound calls are not being established. Inbound calls are ok.
ios:c2951-universalk9-mz.SPA.152-4.M7.bin
Call Flow: IP Phone -> CUCM -> SIP TRUNK -> Voice Gateway -> E1 R2-> TELCO
The debug vpm signal is attached.
What could be the issue?
I have already tested this E1 R2 link in two differents routers.

Hello. My grandmother recently got a new iPad Air and I have been getting familiar with the device by testing out FaceTime and the other features it comes with. Yesterday and today, I tried to do a FaceTime call with this one friend of mine, who has an iPhone 4 or 4S, and it did not notify her that a FaceTime call was coming through. She also tried to call me on the iPad and it did not ring. My wi-fi is turned on and she said hers had to be turned on. Any suggestions as to what we can do to fix the problem?
