Facetime says "could not sign in check network connection and try again ?

when trying to sign in to facetime i get the resonse "could not sign in check network connection and try again" network is fine so is the apple id and password

I'm having the same problem. I have restarted and continue to receive this error message! Any advice is appreciated!
