Facetime server error - certificate not available/expired

Hello,
I have a variation of the facetime error many have been seeing, but this is an odd one;
All of a sudden, facetime errors out logging on with a server error (try again later).
Console reveals that the 'certificate is missing' then 'certificate is expired'.
I deleted the offending one, but it doesn't get recreated, nor does it help.
Everything else seems to work. THe system hasn't seen any changes, but an iPad was configured and on it, facetime, to the same Apple ID (have done that on many systems, but here is may have caused some issue?).
Can anyone help? How does facetime get a new push certificate to start working again?

I have the same problem. All of a sudden FT stoped working on my iMac (Lion 10.7.2). Works on my iPhone 4 with no problem. As soon as I try to log in with my Apple ID (works ok) and click the verify button i get pushed back with this error message:
The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try agian later.
When i open up Console and review whats going on during that period of verification i get this output:
imagent[335]: ApplePushService: Certificate is expired
imagent[335]: [Warning] Missing push certificate
imagent[335]: [Warning]   Cleaning up validation info
version of FaceTime is 1.1.1 (262).
Any info on how to sort this problem? How do i get a new push certificate? I'm not a developer so I have never done that even tho I have seen posts that one can do that via Developer page on Apple site.
Any help would be appreciated. Ty in advance

    I have figured out a work around.
    I have two n8s, and the one I got yesterday (for my wife) the ovi social and store were not working.
    Here is how I fixed it.
    menu  - settings - connectivity - settings - destinations -
    under Uncategorised I had 4, but nothing under Internet. I created a new access point under internet, and copied the settings from one of the ones under uncategorised. (fyi - my older n8 has 4 options in Internet, and only one under uncategoried).
    It seems that Ovi will only use an access point under Internet. I closed down the menu and went into Ovi and it works perfectly.
    Hopefully this work around fixes everyones issue with this. Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • Outboung Campaing: Error Unable to communicate with Enterprise Server. outbound Option not available

    Hi everyone,
    I'm running UCCX 8.01 + CUCM 7.1+ Cisco 7942 just for learning purpose. After creating the Outbound Campaign and imported the Contact List the call is received by the agent (call is state is received as Offering) but after press the Accept, Reject or any othe action button is received the error:
    Error Unable to communicate with Enterprise Server. outbound Option not available (attached to post).
    What does this mean?

  • EAS server error: Could not connect to administration Server

    Hi,
    I have installed Hyperion suite in Windows server 2008 R2. It was working fine but now when i tried to login in to the EAS console, I am getting the following error:
    "Server Error: Could not connect to administration server".
    I tried accessing the same through the web URL and I found "404 error - file or directory not found".
    I verified all my services are up and running fine. I am able to connect to the essbase sever through Excel as well as planning.
    The log retireved from the HyS9eas-sysout.log file is below:

    Sorry for replying late.
    I ran the EPM diagnostic and found EAS & APS application are failed. So as you mentioned, i tried re-deployment through EPM configurator.
    But Re-configuration fails with error "An unexpected error occurred and the application will have to shut down" .
    When i looked in to the Config tool.log,I got the following messages.

    Since it is similare to the Oracle konwledge base article - (Doc ID 1570293.1), I tried adding the shared service domain to the Windows host file. But i am still recieveing the same error message as above.

  • Saving master page in search template throws error "UserAgent not available, file operations may not be optimized"

    Hi Folks,
    I was trying to save basic search template master page "seattle.master" after making change to the template.
    I have added just "CompanyName" folder and update the line below in seattle.master.
    Change is this : <SharePoint:CssRegistration Name="Themable/CompanyName/corev15.css" runat="server"/>
    When I save it, and refresh page on browser, it shows "Something went wrong" error.
    ULS says the following error : "UserAgent not Available, file operation may not be optimized"
    Pls let us know if there is a solution.

    Am getting
    TF400893: Team Foundation Server services are not available. This is most likely caused by a network error. Please check your connection and try again.
    consistently when trying to access TFS2012 Web Access.  I'm on the same domain as the server and able to login however as soon as I try and access a query it asks me to log in again and then presents me with the above message.
    Any thoughts am trying to get as many ports open as possible however security's pretty tight here.

  • Portlet gives ERROR: Content not available and log says FileNotFoundExcepti

    I'm trying to deploy my 'works on JBoss' portlets onto portlet server 7.2
    I uses psadmin register-portlets... to load my ear file with the portlets
    I went into 'Add New Channel or Container' and picked the sandbox and 'channel'
    Step 1.1 I picked JSR 168 or 268
    Step 2 I could see my portlets in the drop down so I picked one
    That seemed to work fine.
    Then I went into 'design desktop layout' and I picked my portlet from the list there and put it onto the sandbox
    Looking good. There were some odd warning errors in the log referring to JSF which don't look relevant so I ignored them (see below)
    Next I logged into sanbox and all I see are two frames (I added two portlets) both saying ERROR: Content not available
    In my log I have two identical errors:

    As you can see from docs - http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-2052/gdela register-portlet is supported for EAR files generated by JCAPS tools. In you case you need to manually add the portal required artifacts. In case of WAR this is handled by deploy-portlet command. I don't remember exact artifacts that were added in PS7.2 portlet deployment. You can deploy a WAR and see the artifacts that will be added and the entry in web.xml as well.

    We have developed a WebDynpro Application which is integrated with a Page and iView in the Portal System EP6 (WAS 6.40 SP 11) ==> 2 Server Cluster enviroment.
    The iView has Cache-Level "session" and Client-side Caching "Yes".
    We tested locally and also on the Target System without any problem.
    But in a specific case some clients has the error "500 Internal Server error session <wd_application> has expired".
    Releasing errors functionality:
    The error occurs, when the user releases the search method of the View instead of the Events onclick by the key Enter (onkeypress).

    We received those errors acctually only form clients who are running Windows XP. But not on every client who runs XP.

    we run into the exactly same problem. The environment is also a 2 server cluster environment.
    Sometimes users has the error "500 Internal Server error session <wd_application> has expired".
    But it is not for specific users.

    To clarify, do you have the User Profile Service (including MySite Host) up and running on this environment? That's subtley different to the full MySite experience which is clearly not applicable...
    Interesting question - thanks for that. Until now I didn't realise there was a difference.
    The User Profile Service is up and running, but no MySite Host is set. (I don't believe MySite will be available anywhere here. I guess that means there's no valid MySite Host for me to use.)

    Sounds like you just purchased a hacked iPhone & Apple's servers have detected such. If not an "authorized" iPhone store, return the phone for a refund.
    Apple's activation servers are running just fine.

  • Genius Sign In - "Error Description not available"

    Trying to login to Genius in iTunes 8 (or course). Using my correct Apple ID and Password, but I keep getting an error stating "Error Description not available", which, is both ironic and frustrating.

    Try going to the iTunes store to see if you can "purchase" and download the Free Single, to be sure there aren't any pending "terms and conditions" updates you need to agree to. It may also help to sign out of the iTunes store (Store menu > Sign Out), close iTunes, restart the computer, open iTunes back up, and try to enable Genius.

    Where did you rent them from?
    iTunes?  If so are they downloaded enough that they can be played?
    If from another App, its best to contact the App developer.

  • ICloud Server error will not let me sign out

    (this is on an iPhone 6)
    So Recently I created a new Apple ID because I'd forgotten my security questions. For about three months, I still had that ID signed in on my iCloud, which wasn't a big deal for me as I rarely back up via iCloud. However, whenever it prompted me to sign in, I'd put in the password, which was for sure correct as I changed it twice, it would continually pop and prompt me again. So I put in the password, again.
    I Decided I should probably research this problem a bit further, so I went into settings>iCloud. Naturally, I click where my name is displayed. It asks me to sign in. when I do, it kind of glitches by having a window pop up prompting for my password(mind you while its verifying), then for A quick moment you see a check mark next to the password, then the page closes itself, taking you back to the majn iCloud screen. I then get a popup that says "A server error has occurred"
    Any Ideas? It would be greatly appreciated! If you need pictures I'd be glad to put them up

    If your device is signed into an old ID ("email address") that is an earlier version of the ID you want to sign in with, do the following:
    If you are using iMessage and FaceTime, make sure you are signed into these services with your current ID.  If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
    Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.)  Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID).  Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless you are using iCloud Photo Library).  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).
