Facetime still isn't working.

Hi,
     didn't see an up to date answer to this question so...
My Facetime hasn't worked at all for a while, I've got an iPod touch 5g and Macbook Air running iOS 7.1.2 and OS X 10.9.4 and the other person is updated as well.  I've made sure Facetime is enabled, Date&Time is automatic, we've both got wifi, push notifications are on and I've got the right e-mail.  I just wanted to know if there was ANYTHING else that worked for someone that isn't on the troubleshooting page.

Please sign out of FaceTime on all your devices and sign back in. If there's no change, log out or restart the computer and try again.

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost      
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup. See:                                               
    iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.                       
    If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • Do Not Disturb still isn't working!

    Does anyone know why the iPhones do not disturb feature still isn't working. My phone still rings during my set schedule as well as when I set it to do not disturb.

    Try resetting your iPhone.  Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.

    Just got this problem fixed.
    This is what customer support instructed me to do for my iMac:
    Rest 1.
    Shut down computer and unplug power; wait 15 secs.
    Turn on computer.
    Shut down computer.
    Reset 2.
    Turn on computer.
    Before gray screen comes up, so almost immediately, press Option-Command-P-R at the same time.
    Hold down until you hear the turn-on noise, let go and let the system start up.
    This fixed my camera problem.

    Lets take first issue first: Apple does not charge a customer to 'keep' iPad access. That does not happen at apple. If you were billed and charged that amount of money from someone you were speaking to over the phone, you were not talking with Apple support. If you need to speak with apple support you are free to call them at 800MYAPPLE and they will talk to you for no more money than 19.00/ support event.

  • HT204370 I just bought GOT season 1, and it says i need the quicktime player, which I then installed, but it still isn't working, what should I do?

    I've already tried uninstalling and then installing the quick time again, but it still isn't working. I have an ASUS laptop it that helps.

    I think this is a known problem with Lion and some installs of Logic, I've seen it mentioned before.

    Ok I think it's a problem with my router. I went to my cousin's house and the Wi-Fi worked there perfectly. I was even able to download many apps. So I guess my router probably can't take in more connections. Oh well thanks anyway.
