I live in Greece and I want to establish a way to communicate with the United Kingdom. I saw that I am able to buy a UK Skype Number but I have some questions.
1. If someone calls me from UK landline to my UK Skype Number while I am in Greece who gets charged and how?
2. Will I be able to accept calls from UK if I only have a number and no subscription or credit?
3. If I call UK landlines from Greece through UK Skype Number does it work like regular Skype calls (buying subscription etc.) or do I have to do something else?

Unable to FaceTime with wife

I am in the uk. Me and my wife have iPhone 4. When my wife tries to FaceTime at home with me. It says unable to connect or unable to FaceTime with me for some reason. I am able to FaceTime with other people. And I am able to call my wife on FaceTime. Done FaceTime using same wifi connection in the house. What can be going wrong. At first my wife facetime option said waiting for activation on her iPhone in the phone menu. So I did a soft reboot holding power button and home together til I get apple logo to fix this but I don't know what can be stopping my wife facetime with me. Can anyone help. She has tried to FaceTime other people but they did not have there iPhone with them. I mean it does not even attempt to connect and make that beeping sound on my iPhone. FaceTime just cuts out with my wife when she tries me for some reason.

(1) If you can contact others, but your wife cannot contact anyone, the problem must be at her end.
She can go to a different location and try to see if the problem is with the wi-fi at her usual location. If she can connect FaceTime from other locations but not from where she is trying to call you from now, she will need to troubleshoot her wireless access.
(2) If she cannot FaceTime with anyone regardless of which wi-fi hot spot she tries, perhaps she has not configured her FaceTime or Settings correctly.

Problem purchasing english movies with other country itunes account

Hello, I have an indian itunes account. The english movie i wanted to purchase is not available in indian itune store. So I changed my itunes country to United States. But I am not able purchase because I do not have a United States credit card. Itunes does not accept indian credit card.
Is there any way to purchase the english movie from united states itune store with other countries credit card?

The phone will "work" with any standard GSM carrier.
However, LTE and iPhone features like FaceTime, iMessage, Visual Voicemail may not work unless you use a carrier that officially supports iPhones.

You should be able to call the iPad using your Apple ID from the iPhone. When calling from iPad use the iPhone's phone number to initiate the call.

Ok, so sometimes apple's servers may crash, temporarily. Just check the following site: http://www.apple.com/uk/support/systemstatus/
and it will notify you of any crashes. The link above is for the UK. Change to adapt to your country if you are outside of the UK. If your problem isn't listed I am sure it will be resolved within 24 hours. If this problem persists best thing is to contact apple.

Either will work. 4G only works in Canada and the USofA. In foreigh countries the New iPad will fall back to 3G if you have a local sim and iPad data plan from a local provider.

I think you should go ahead and go in to an Apple store there and ask them to help you with it. Worst case scenario is they just tell you sorry, you'll have to wait until back in the USA for that. But, the wifi issue may just be a need to reset network settings, or something simple. The screen could be a software issue or a hardware one, but either way you have nothing to loose by asking.
P.S. if it were a hardware issue, Apple does not do repairs in house. They would just exchange it for a factory refurbished unit, and send yours back to China for factory refurbishment by the same folks who made it. So a local genius stop will be short no matter what the outcome - you either leave with a fixed phone, or the same one you have now and just have to wait to get it fixed once you are back home.

Facetime comes up with other ipod name

i have an i pod touch and i also just bought another one for my kid im trying to set it up but everytime i facetime with 1 ipod to the other it uses my name not hers how can i fix this where her name ppos up on my screen not my own, also why is it when she downloads something it comes on my too help anyone?

Poor performance of facetime on macbook air while it works fine with other devices

Hi all,
I am experiencing poor performance when using facetime with my macbook air (image is poor and voice keeps breaking) while facetime works absolutely fine with my iphone or ipad. Skype works fie with the macbook as well. I have fiber optic connection with plenty of bandwidth. Any ideas?
