Hi All,
When we try create a posting run using Progrm RPURMP00 for garnishment for third party remittances. We got an error messages as PERNO. ...... no link to payroll results.

Did you carry out the following two activities?
1. The payroll run, the evaluation run and the store evaluation run must have been completed before you can remit anything.
2. Tables T51RL, T51RC, T51RH and T51RD must be maintained.

hi mamta,
this mainly decides how you pay the third parties through payroll.
here you have to create HR payees for the third party vendors.
then you setup the assignment of the WT to the HR payees.
then you take the information of the G/L accounts and also others details like which G/L account is for which third party vendor from the FI people. then depending on that information you then setup the assignment of the HR payees to their respective G/L accounts.
here you also have to decide when these payments has to be made to these third party providers.
you enter the HR payees numbers in table T51RH.
this is just an overview of configuration of Third party Remittance.

Problems to run the patch for 9.2.02

HI Gurus, I have some problem applying the 9.2.0.2 patch on oracle 9.2.01 base installation. Since I'm really a DBA, not sure how to execute the following pre_install statement:
Drop the xmlconcat function by running the following commands:
drop public synonym xmlconcat;
drop function xmlconcat;
It's the windows 2000 server version!

Thanks, Karen, I was just a little bit confused by the readme instruction, it told us to shutdown every instance of DB, TNS listener etc, then run the commands I mentioned. Well, looks like they never read what they write. I guess We just have to be a little careful when reading it.

Third Party Remittance Posting RUN : Information regarding particular BA Mi

Hi Guys,
While posting to FI for Third Party Remittance Posting RUN (standard sap Program RPURMPK0), when the selection for Business Area is left blank, the o/p gets Posted Properly for Business Area = ___(i.e. blank) and for all the other Business Area that is valid for the pay run. But the Information that is displayed in the output is only for Business Area = ___(i.e. blank).
If the other applicable Business Area ( = 01 suppose) is there in this pay, it gets posted properly, but the information is not displayed.
Can u guys let me know how to get read of the diplay problem???

Shipto Address for Third Party PO

Hi, can anyone advise is there a standard configuration to pick the shipto location from SO which generates the PR for third party scenario? This is bcos the shipto address in the PR should reflect the one from the SO header so that vendor knows where to ship the goods in such case. Currently, the shipto address is based on the plant or SLOC in the PR item which is not correct.

Hi,
I guess in third party sales it will be sales order related billing.So in VF04 tick the check box of order related billing.
Check the billing date and check if MIRO has taken place.In standard SAP before MIRO you can't do the billing for third party sale.

Clients status on Software Updates "Waiting for third-party orchestrator to initiate installation"

20 out of 25 clients are all in the "Waiting for third-party orchestrator to initiate installation". What does this mean? They have already passed the deadline. They have downloaded the updates. No installation though except on 5
servers. Below is a piece of the Client log.

It's most likely caused by a client agent setting called "Agent extensions manage the deployment of applications and software updates", see
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg682067.aspx#BKMK_ComputerAgentDeviceSettings. It has to be set to "disabled" if you are not using any third party software that plugs into ConfigMgr.

You need the previous owner to unlock it, unless they do you have a brick there is no other way .
iPhone was probably stolen if you purchased on eBay, claim and get your money back

Iam facing a problem while downloading the data from ALV Grid to excel sheet. This is working fine in Development server , when comes to Quality and Production servers I have this trouble.
   I have nearly 11 fields in ALV Grid and out of which one is PO number of length 10 , all the ten numbers are visible in the excel sheet if we download it from development server but when we download it from Quality or Production it is showing only 9 numbers.
Can any one help me out in this case.

if this problems happens dont display the same internal as u finally got.
just create new internal table without calling any standard data elements and domains... but the new internal table s similar like ur final internal table and move all the values to new int table.
for eg.
ur final internal int table for disp,
     data : begin of itab occur 0,
                    matnr like mara-matnr,
               end of itab.
create new like this,
           data : begin of itab occur 0,
                    matnr(12) type N,
               end of itab.

Problem with running the midlet class (Error with Installation suite )

i have problem with running the midlet class(BluetoothChatMIDlet.java)
it keep showing me the same kind of error in the output pane of netbeans...

where they check the SIGN DISTRIBUTION...and also change the ALIAS to UNTRUSTED..after that,click the EXPORT KEY INTO JAVA ME SDK,PLATFORM,EMULATOR...
i did that but also didnt work out..
could any1 teach me how to fix it...

actually, i do my FYP on bluetooth chatting...
and there will be more than two emulators running at the same time..

Need to run the report for All Values when Null is passed in parameter

Hi All,
In my BIP report, I am using a parameter :asset with Type as Text, which means user will type the values for the parameter in the text box.
Now, this parameter can take multiple comma separated values. I have a requirement to run the report for All Values when user doesn't enter any value in the parameter text box and if user enters any value(s) then the report will run for those values . The way, I tried to handle that in the query using couple of ways was :
IMP : My Database is SQL Server
where
(table.asset = isnull((:asset), table.asset) or table.asset in (:asset))
Now this works fine when I give a single asset number but when I give multiple values separated by comma like 123, 345 in the text box, then the statement fails saying 'encountered ,'
I also tried simply
table.asset in isnull((:asset),table.asset) -- but this doesn't work as it doesn't allow me to use in operater while using isnull and if i will use = operater then it won't work in case of multiple values
Any suggestions on how can I handle this? Any help would be highly appreciated.

thanks for replying, but i tried this option too, it did not work for me, neither isnull nor coalesce. I mean, the solution work for single value but when i pass multiple values then separated by a comma then it doesn't work and shows me an error like "Incorrect Syntax ','". I am using SQL server as DB and bip is 10.1.3.4.1
also please share the SR number, so i can also check the same.
can there be any other work around to this?

With the latest IOS 7.0.3 for my iPhone, it no longer syncs with iTunes. I've run the diagnostics for syncing and it says everything is working, which it clearly isn't. Is there anything to be done without restoring iPhone? Thanks

update : so after reading numerous posts, I tried unchecking entire playlist and just tried one of my playlists. That sync seemed to work, so I rechecked entire playlist and did the sync. It worked. Then I went in to my "walk to work" playlist and added some songs to see if it would sync now, and it did!!! so happy now. will see what happens tomorrow.
