Facing problem during uploadation of Routing data using CA01-BDC - URGENT

Dear All,
When I am trying to upload Routing data using CA01 in the Table Control scenario, then I am facing problem as my last 2 records are not getting uploaded from my Test file.
For example, I am having 47 records in my Test File and after setting Default size parameters (to avoid screen resolution problem)
I have 15 table control line items data per page. The Page down logic ('=P+') is working fine, but my below BDC code failed to take
the remainder last 2 records from the Test File.
Analysis: When I am running my Call Transaction bdc in foreground, then the 1st page down occurs after 15th record, 2nd page down occurs after 29th record( as in Table Control 1st pages 15th record is coming on the Top of 2nd page). 3rd page down occurs after 43rd record
(as 2nd pages 29th record is coming on the top of 3rd page). In the 4th Table Control Page 43rd record of previous page is coming on top, and then its taking 44th & 45th records from the Test File and then it is triggering SAVE (=BU). Thus, our last 2 records
(i.e. 46th, 47th record) are not getting uploaded in the routing screen from our Test File.
If anybody has encountered this scenario previously, please help me URGENTLY in fixing the bugs here. Its VERY, VERY URGENT
FYI. For others 45 successful records already uploaded, all the screen fields values are coming properly in the routing screen, and here there is no issue.

Would request you to post this to ABAP-Forum for Immediate response.
I had this problem, but the ABAP guy did something to correct this...it was more of screen resoultion difference between the recorded system and uploading system. Please try to use the same system which was used to record and try.

VALUATIONDATA parameter is in the tables tab.
But I didn't test it. Try, may be it works as you need.

Problem in uploading material master data using BDC?

Hi all,
I am using BDC call transaction method to upload material data. Here i am facing a problem that a value in the flat file is going to the wrong screen field . But my recording done properly.
In recording, after entering the data in the view BASIC DATA1 and trying to enter the text . For this i need to scroll down the scroll bar and after that i am clicking on basic data text and entering the text. Here i am not touching the languge field.
But the problem is the text to be entered into the basic data text is storing in language and giving error.
Please help me by specifying the reason and solution for this problem? Whether i did any mistake in recording in scrolling?

Facing problem in converting string to date using getOANLSServices()

I am trying to set a value for date field in my vo and trying to insert into the table.
In controller I am getting the String which has a date:
ex: String date="01-NOV-2007";
while setting into the row I need to convert into Date but it is returning null.
The below code I used
to convert into date :

But this dt is returning a null value is there any solution please advise me.

Problem in uploading HR master Data from excel

Hello
When I am uploading HR master data using excel , I get the error
"Error in info type 0006 and emp no 00000016 with msg id 00 no. 055 msg Fill in all required entry fields "
I have filled in the following fields for infotype 0006:-
SUBTY ='1'
ANSSA = '1'
STRAS , LOCAT ,ORT01, STATE , PSTLZ , LAND1, TELNR.'
But I am getting the error for filling the required entry fields.
I am using The function module HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA.
If anyone has an idea...about the problem, please write

No work schedule rule for key 1 0501NORM 20090101 ###
This type of error is a functional one . It simply means you are trying to feed the field with value which is not acceptable (here work schedule does not exist for specific key). Either contatct your functional collegue to check the configuration or change the provided data.
Also as Bala noticed you should always check if relevant record is allowed to be entered directly in PA30. Make sure all required fields are provided too.The best is to either enter it manually or use SHDB to record this entry and get technical field names. You then know which fields you need to provide in order to create a correct entry.

How To... Update Master Data during upload of transaction data

Can anybody let me know how this can be achieved.
I have datasource (Legacy not R3) where I am getting both master data and text for number of infoobjects.
I dont want separate datasources.
The datasource is actually transactional datasource.
I dont need text in the cubes or DSO I need the text tables of the infoobjects to be updated.
I could find this on SDN but do anyone have document based on the below link.I was not able to find it.

I guess yr req is demanding the knowledge of Data Unification and Synchronization whose scope is a bit outer the area of BW.( its MDM actually )
In BW we could very well fetch data out of different data sources (even across the different system) with no issues so why not u trying that. if there is any issue implementing that then please specify what kind of trouble you are interfacing...

It really depends on the number of records you have. Still for a set of 5,000 records my answer to your questions will be:
1) In both BDC and BAPI which one is preferable? - Go with BDC
2) for suppose if it is through BDC, how to use? what are the transactions that we can use(SHDB, ME21N,ME21)? - Yes, its SHDB for recording, SE38 for abap program and ME21 for PO. Avoid SAP Enjoy transactions for recording as you may end up having problems wiht it.
3) To execute the job in background, is it possible for both call transaction and session method. - If you use call transaction method then you have to schedule the job to run in background or simply run it through F9 instead of F8. In case of session method you can chose to process the session in background. However I would suggest you go with BDC Session method for this.

Upload of BP Data using DTW

I tried to upload the BP data in one of the databases using DTW.
I was able to upload the masters successfully but was not able to upload the bill to and ship to addresses for the BP data.
Data which had special characters like , or hyphen appeared with double quotes, how can this be corrected?

I have also noticed that there are some values for which the "System Information" shows as exact input values, however the values or input required for those columns are completely different.
For e.g. column called "VATStatus" in the BP template, there are two options available, "Liable" or "Exempt".
The value to be inserted in this column for the former is "vliable" at the time of import...
How can we determine what to input for the latter?

I am trying to upload purchase order Data for transaction ME21 through E-catt. But I am not able to upload multiple line item data as the Test Script allows only one item data to be uploaded because I have uploaded only one item data in my recording. So I am not able to upload multiple line item data. Can anybody help me with the steps to upload multiple line item data for ME21 transaction through E-CATT.

This is a Currency Field so you need to pass this to a Char field first and then pass to BDCTAB-FVAL.

Please note while passing values to BDCTAB all the values should be passed in CHAR form only

Facing problem during file upload

we r designing a portal where it is required to upload files based on individual users who have logged in.
For this purpose we r using a file field in one page and http upload tag in another page.
The file uploads successfuly to the database, but the problem is that we r not able to get the value of pReq.getUser() in the page where the httpfileupload tag exists.
we noted that request.getParameter() and session.getValue() is also not valid in this page.
we also tried setting the session value to true in provider.xml. Even this didnt work.
we noted that this problem comes only when the file field is used. can anyone tell me how to solve this??

Facing Problem while Debugging a custom report using LDB

Hi Gurus,
I have requirement to modify a custom report program related to FI. This program used Logical database ZDF ( Copied original DDF) for data fetching.
when i am trying to see the data in debugging mode, its not allowing to check in start-of-selection event. only in the initialization & end-of-selection i could able to debug.
when i put breakpoint in initialization, it is allowing to see the flow till a Get Event occurs in the code, once a Get event occur the debugger is coming out and displaying the report.
If anybody faced this kind of problem when debugging a report using LDB, please share how you resolved it. If there are any other ways to debug a program of this kind please help me.

actually , when I'm creating routing - faced a problem - that , message display " this sampling procedure only suitable with SPC characteristic"

I guess , may be while creating sampling procedure for routing , and then assignment with control chart , where the problem has been rooted .
Actually , I don't know what type control chat should be assigned with std. sampling procedure for routing for WM - PP interface .
why this problem is getting displayed and how could it be solved ?

Hello Arghya,
From the screen shot 1 it seems that the Sampling procedure which you are assigning to MIC in routing is created with SPC criterion. But the MIC to which you are trying to assign does not have SPC characteristic tick active in its control indicator.
First you need to decide whether you really want to carry out SPC study for this MIC or not.
If Yes - Then in control indicators of this MIC tick on SPC characteristic and in sampling procedure use SPC as criterion under valuation mode drop down. You may choose suitable Xbar chart for this with due discussion with business users; what type of chart they want.
If Not - Then simply do not tick SPC characteristic check-box in control indicators and create sampling procedure as you have shown in 2nd screen shot except control chart.
