Facing problem in sync from itunes - windows 7 64bit
Hi, I've been using iphone 4 for more than a year , i updated to ios5.0.1 and had no issued in it , but later on started facing problem in syncing my phone with itunes since i started using windows 7- 64bit , then i thought i might need to upgrade my device , so i upgarded to 5.1.1 but still having same problem , whenever i connect my iphone to itunes and start sync , it takes a bit long for back up and when it comes to changes ,after saying 'changes to be apllied ' it gets stuck to 'Copying 1of 59 anything ( music, videos,apps ) ' and then it stops responding and i get an error message 'UNBLE TO COPY/SYNC DUE TO ITUNES TIMED OUT ' or something I'm unable to figure out whats the problem , i unistall itunes and then downlaoded new version 10.6.3 , still facing same problem , unable to sync anything but i have noticed one thing i'm having this issue since i started using windows 7 - 64bit , earlier there was no issued is 64bit spportable to itunes ??? plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help , Regards,Sweety sadanaios5.1.1 user

The term EHCI roughly means "USB 2.0 host controller". So pretty much any modern nVidia chipset will have one of those. So the issue ends up boiling down to whether or not you've got an nVidia chipset, I think.
I went searching through the HP Support forums, and I found a user-supplied FAQ that suggests that you do have an nVidia chipset. See Daniel's second post in this thread (the one on chipset drivers):

... but "suggests" isn't quite the same thing as "confirms".
I'm thinking it might be worth posting over at the HP Support forums and asking if you have one of the HP models that requires the update for Windows 7 described in the following post. (The update in question is actually the same as the Microsoft hotfix I linked you to earlier.)

iPad (Retina Display) (iOS 7.0.4) won't sync new music from iTunes (Windows). Only solution found was to uncheck "Sync Music" under Music tab, apply, then recheck "Sync Music" and apply. This is timely and aggravating. Any other solution?
I have also tried a hard reset. I have also gone into settings and checked "display all music".

If anyone is having the same problem, there's a chance it's an issue with the Mobile Device Manager for iTunes. The key is to ditch the old/corrupt file and replace it via clean iTunes installation.
Here's the fix that worked for me:
1. Trash iTunes (uninstall); don't forget to trash it from your dock if you have it there.
2. Head to /System/Library/Extensions/ and trash file AppleMobileDevice.kext
3. Head to /Library/Receipts/ and trash AppleMobileDeviceSupport.pkg ( * this may or may not be there * )
4. Restart computer (& empty trash)
5. Download fresh & clean iTunes and reinstall.
Voila! The content is now properly recognized by iTunes, the capacity bar registers the correct amount and type beyond "Other", and now I can put music back on the iPad. -

In Windows, the iPod will not appear as removable storage, unless it is set in iTunes to Enable disk use. By default, it is NOT set to Enable disk use.
In iTunes, if the sidebar (along left side of window) is hidden, from the iTunes menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar. When the iPod is connected, it should appear in the sidebar, under DEVICES. It does not appear there? -
I downloaded latest update of iTunes (windows 7, 64bit) and have now the problem runtime error R6025 pure virtual function call (Microsoft Visual C runtime library) - Who would have a solution to that problem?

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Problems deleting tracks from itunes
I have a Mac, Iphone and Ipad. I have problems deleting tracks from iTunes. The issue I have is that tracks keep coming back. The issue goes something like this:
I delete a track from iTunes. I sync with an IOS device. On sync, iTunes says there are purchased items on the IOS device not present in your library, do you want to import them? I select no, then iTunes imports the tracks anyway! Essentially the track I deleted from iTunes, gets imported back in from an IOS device, every time.
This means I face the situation of having to delete tracks from all 3 devices, to stop them coming back. Am I doing something wrong?There is a way to do this, kindof. See my post here.
The best way to do this if you want to be able to continue updating the Apple TV with new content would be to buy an external hard disk and keep all your movies (and the secondary library itself) on that disk. Then, when you want to add movies to the Apple TV, you would just connect the external disk, open the secondary library in iTunes, and add the movie into iTunes. The setting here that you need to be aware of is the "Copy to iTunes Music folder when adding to library" setting in iTunes Preferences > Advanced General. So long as this setting is on, any movie file that you add to the secondary library will automatically be copied by iTunes to your external drive. Once you're done syncing the Apple TV, and you verify that the movie file did in fact get copied to the external disk, you can delete the copy from the hard drive in your computer. -
When my brother plugs in his iPod touch, it shows he's syncing from itunes. He isn't syncing anything though and we've tried charging it but it won't turn off or on.

So, in iTunes, when you look at the shuffle's content (in the sidebar) and click on the playlist under the shuffle, over to the right, the songs are in your desired order, correct? Where do you look, or what do you do, that indicates the playlists are in alphabetical order? Are you saying that when you play the songs while using the shuffle, they play in alphabetical order?
If so, when you listen to the songs on the shuffle, are you using the playlist, or are you using the All Songs list? If you are in the default All Songs list, with the shuffle's power switch set to play-in-order (the middle position), the songs play alphabetically, I believe.
The 3rd gen shuffle uses VoiceOver. If you are in the All Songs list, you need to use VoiceOver to switch to the playlist (see manual linked below for details). When you are in the playlist (with the shuffle's power switch set to play-in-order), then the songs should play in playlist order.

How do I move a movie I have synced from iTunes into the "Movies" tab of the Video App? I need to access a slideshow I made in IMovies and may not have WiFi. I did it once, but can't figure out how to do it again! The file is an m4v. Thank you!
Im just guessing but it seems like you would have to get your movie into the correct folder on a computer then use iTunes to sync it to your iPad. If you've synced to a computer and have movies then on your computer should be a folder with the movie in it. You could export your iMovie to something like Dropbox then download from Dropbox to the folder you think it needs to be in the sync your iPad again. Again this is just a guess. Others may have a better answer.

I have four audio books on ITunes that at one time were synced to Iphone. Now they are not on the phone and I can not sync from Itunes, even though they are in Itunes as a purchase. I have gone to book and audiobooks and checked sync all on both.

Right click 'computer' in your PC/laptop (whichever). Click 'Manage', then 'Services and Applications', then 'Services', you should see 'Apple Mobile Device' running or stopped. If you couldn't find 'Apple Mobile Device', it means you haven't download iTunes into your PC/laptop (whichever).
