Facing problem in WLST command
HI,
i want to start a server using WLST, below is the command which i am using it to start my AdminServer
startServer('AdminServer','domainone','http://3.182.140.116:9988','weblogic','system92','/examples/domainone/')
AdminServer: is the name of my AdminServer
domainone: is the name of the domain which i created manually
Can some one suggest what should i do to rectify the problem.......

If you run the following command:
startServer('AdminServer','domainone','http://3.182.140.116:9988','weblogic','system92','/examples/domainone/')
Then two scenarios:
Scenario 1): If your Domain is already existing in the following location "/examples/domainone/" then every thing is OK...it whould work fine.
Scenario 2): if your Domain is not existing in "/examples/domainone/" location already ...then the startServer() function of WLST will attempt to create a Domain first before starting the Server....The Domain location will be the "/examples/domainone/" So Please make sure that you have enough permissions to create a Directory "/examples/domainone/" this path will be considered as an Absolute Path...Means /examples will be treated as the Root directory.... Please check that do u have that permission?
Better try to give a Correct location. Because the Stack trace of yours suggest that there it is not able to create it:

WLST command line utility "storeUserConfig()" is not working for 12c OHS
Hi All,
I am facing issue with WLST command line utility with "*storeUserConfig()*" command.
I have installed Standalone OHS 12c (Not managed OHS with WLS), configure and start the Node Manager.
I start the WLST command line utility from : <MW_HOME>/ohs/common/bin/wlst.sh
I connect node manager with : nmConnect('weblogic', 'welcome1', nmType='plain', domainName='base_domain')
wls:/offline> nmConnect('weblogic', 'welcome1', nmType='plain', domainName='base_domain')
Connecting to Node Manager ...
Successfully Connected to Node Manager.
wls:/nm/base_domain> nmStart(serverName='ohs10', serverType='OHS')

Now When I am running storeUserConfig(), it's giving me below error :
wls:/nm/base_domain> storeUserConfig()

NameError: storeUserConfig
I also try with storeUserConfig('/scratch/12cORC/security/myuserconfigfile.secure', '/scratch/12cORC/security/myuserkeyfile.secure') which also give same error.
I am not able to recognize this error. What should I need to do to create the User config file ?
Please suggest me the solution.

Amit NagarIt's probably a little late for the original poster, but in case anybody else stumbles on this thread (like me today), I found a workable solution to this problem:
For a Standalone HTTP Server there exists in $domain_home/bin a command startComponent.sh or (on Windows) startComponent.cmd. This accepts as parameter the ComponentName which will typically be ohs1 and as second parameter storeUserConfig. Documentation on this can be found here:

startComponent.sh ohs1 storeUserConfig
Unfortunately this doesn't tell you where you'll find the config and key-File. However, on a second invocation I found that - at least on windows where I tested this - they get written into c:\users\<username>\.wlst so I'd expect them in the home directory on unix. After copying the files to a more common location, I was able to reference them the usual way (formatted for better readability):

This makes no sense. You don't configure a listener nor a tnsnames.ora "in a database". I hope this is just a language issue and not reflective of a fundamental misunderstanding of how tns works.

Problem with listWebServices() command in wlst.
Hi I am trying to get the list of webservices deployed on my weblogic domain, but when i execute the command i get no output, can any one please explain the reason for this.

You do not see any errors?
Because listWebServices() is a custom WLST command and would need a specific jar in the classpath (For more information review the following doc: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E25178_01/web.1111/e13813/custom_webservices.htm ). If this jar is missing an NameNotFound error would be thrown anyways.
If you do not see any errors and just getting an empty output, then please consider checking that the web services applications deployed on the server are in ACTIVE state.
Also, one more important check is that this command needs to be executed after the connect() command, i.e., it is a WLST online command, so you should be connected to the admin server.

Issue while starting AdminSerever using wlst commands
Hi, I am facing issue while trying to start the AdminServer and Managed Server via nodemanager using wlst commands. I have installelled WebLogic 11g on windows 2008 R2. Mentioned below are the steps that I followed:
1) In Nodemanager.properties files I set following parameters to true. I did this, so that nodemanager can start the server in case of crash.
CrashRecoveryEnabled=true
StartScriptEnabled=true
2) started nodemanager and then started AdminServer from the command prompt as follows:
nmConnect('weblogic','password','10.23.226.58','5556','IMDomain','E:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\IMDomain','ssl')
nmStart('AdminServer')
I dont see any errors but it seems the AdminServer do Not start properly as in the cmd window I don't see any 'started successfully' message - the message remains as *"Starting AdminServer..."*
However in the adminServer logs I see that the status is Running (refer logs at the end) and I can also see it as Running in weblogic console.
I really didnt care if its not giving a success message in cmd window but the problem occurs when I start the managedServer. After starting the managed server in about 10 minutes, there is a stuck thread. (I guess it is 10 mins because Stuck Thread MaxTime value is 600).
If I set StartScriptEnabled=false, and start by directly running the startweblogic.cmd then it works fine.
I am struggling with this for last 1 week, appreciate any help.

But we also have a copy of this in our system. In the copy I found type name like alv_type_sortinfo but no kkblo_t_sortinfo.
Note KKBLO was the predecessor of ALV.
Must have to dio something with version changed by service pack.

Problems with WLST embedded in java app.

I have a problem with the WLST embedded in a java app.
I want to programatically create or reconfigure a domain from a java application. Following is a simple example of what I want to do.

None of the VERY limited number of examples using embedded WLST in java has exception or error handling in so I need to know what is the policy to detect failures in a WLST command executed in java??? i.e. How does my java application know when a command succeeds or not??

I did some creative wrapping for the WLSTInterpreter and I now have very good programatic access to the WLST python commands.
I will put this on dev2dev somewhere and release it into the open source community.
Don't know the best place to put it yet, so if anybody sees this and has any good ideas please feel free to pass them on.
Here is the wrapper class. It can be used as a direct replacement for the weblogic WLSTInterpreter. As I can't overload the actual exec() calls because I want to return a String from this call I created an exec1(String command) that will return a String and throw my WLSTException which is a RuntimeException which you can handle if you like.
It sets up stderr and stdout streams to interpret the results both from the Python interpreter level and at the JVM level where dumpStack() just seem to do a printStackTrace(). It also calls the dumpStack() command should the result contain this in its text. If either an exception is thrown from the lower level interpreter or dumpStack() is in the response I throw my WLSTException containing this information.

Customizing AM Images & Facing Problem in Update & Deploy War files

This is Yash Bansal from Gurgaon, India. i am new to access manager. i am now customizing it and facing problem in customizing.
I have customized images which is present in directory path:
opt/SUNWam/web-src/services/images/
and updated services.war file which is present in directory path:
opt/SUNWam/war/
with command
jar -uvf services.war /opt/SUNWam/web-src/services/images/login-backimage.jpg
then deployed configuration from the web server 7.0 admin console.
after that when i open the url
http://<hostname>/amserver/console
then Page Not Found error comes in the browser.
Just wanted to ask you guys am i doing the steps right. please help if someone know how to update and deploy war file on Sun Web server 7.0.

Deploying the configuration does not (re)deploy the application. Webserver stores a copy of the deployed application and all configurations in the admin instance. When you change anything in the webserver console it is first written there and only applied to the productive instance when you deploy configuration.
When you add images, jsps or something else to /opt/SUNWam/... and want it redeployed you have to use amconfig command. in /opt/SUNWam/bin there is a file called amsamplesilent. You have to fill the values in this file and then use
./amconfig -s amsamplesilent
I believe for a redeploy you have to set DEPLOY_LEVEL to 21, not sure here, check documentation.
I personally usually do not redeploy for images and such, I simply copy them directly the deployed location.
Why http://.../amserver/console does not work anymore, I have no idea. But at least after a redeploy it should be there again.

I was facing problem from last week.Suddenly i was getting ora-12505 error while connecting to the database through toad.I tried to change tnsnames.ora & listener.ora in multiple ways,but no luck...Inspite i was getting different errors like ora - 01034: ORACLE not available / ora - 27101: shared memory realm does not exist...When i try to connect using sys / sys as sysdba,connection is establishing and when issue the command startup it was throwing the error ORA-01821: date format not recognized......Fed up solving these issues....Can some one help me out...It's very very urgent..

As a professional news and sports photographer I cannot use Aperture for this problem alone. I live and die by my captions and if a photo isn't captioned, or incorrectly captioned, it might as well not exist at all. Fixing the IPTC import problem is No 1 priority for me.
As it is at the moment only half of the caption (description) comes in and some fields are missing entirely. This is only with RAW files, JPEG files import perfectly.
Whilst we wait for this issue to be resolved (and PLEASE can it be soon!) is there anyway of working with the IPTC from the JPEG?
If I shoot RAW and JPEG together can Aperture show both the RAW and the JPEG side by side so that I can lift from JPEG and stamp the RAW with the IPTC data? Even better, can something be written into Aperture where I can select all the RAW & JPEG images and just select a command saying 'copy IPTC data from RAW to JPEG'? This would be a very helpful temporary workaround.
Finally, and I've put this in the feedback, can we have a much bigger window for IPTC data entry? Personally I would like a pop-up window similar to PhotoMechanic, and I'd like to be able to save my caption so that the next time I import images I can just selected the saved caption instead of going through all the fields setting it up again.

Before stopping the Managed Server we would like to shutdown a particular composite otherwise we are going to get queues on this composites.
I am searching for a WLST command to achieve this but I could not find any.
Are you aware of any command to achieve this?

Opening fmb (11g) - problem sending the command
Hello everyone,
I have installed Forms Builder 11g (11.1.2.0.0) on my Windows 7 32-bit machine.
My problem is: when double-clicking the .fmb file (without opening the Forms builder first) the Forms Builder opens but I receive the error "there was a problem sending the command to the program" and the form does not get loaded. The second time I double-click the .fmb file it gets loaded because I already have the builder opened.
Has anyone faced the same problem?

Zynq problem on xreset command

We have designed a board with a Zynq XC7Z045 and a Virtex 7 XC7VX690T : JTAG access to Zynq PL and to the Virtex are OK but we are facing problems when accessing to the ARM inside the Zynq. The SDK is freezing on the first command when we enter in debug mode : after 60 seconds a prompt says that 'xreset 64' command timed out.
We got the same error when trying this command in a XMD terminal. We launch the following commands :
- connect arm hw
- xverbose
- xreset 64
and we have the following result :

XMD_DEBUG - Select JTAG AP
XMD_DEBUG - Wait until JTAG engine inactive and WFIFO empty
XMD_DEBUG - Enable access to JTAG PORT0
XMD_DEBUG - Check PORT/SRSTCONNECTED
XMD_DEBUG - Assert nSRSTOUT
Last sentence is 'Assert nSRSTOUT', which suggest us there is a problem with the SRST reset. So we tried to force the SRS_B pin low, which unfreezes the terminal and generates the following message :
E2 ERROR: Error in Resetting Target
Could not stop the processor after reset
We are working on vivado 2014.2 with an HS2 probe from DIGILENT. Voltages are stable and correct, sequencing is presented in attachment :
- vcore start first (magenta curve), slope time is 2ms.
- IO voltage and SRST_B (yellow curve) are next (1.8V for VCCPAUX, VCCPLL, VCC_MIO0, 2V for VCCAUX_IO, 2.5V for VCC_MIO1).
- PS_CLK is stable after nearly 10ms (1.8V, 33.33MHz, approximately 4ns of rise time).
- after nearly 300ms the POR_B signal is released (blue curve, PU 1.8V).
Boot mode resistors (20k) have been checked :
MIO[2] = 0 (JTAG in cascade mode)
MIO[5:3] = 100 (QSPI)
MIO[6] = 0 (PLL enabled)
MIO[7] = 1 (Bank MIO0 = 1.8V)
MIO[8] = 0 (Bank MIO1 = 2.5V)
We also have a ZC706 board, and with the same setup we success to load and run a code in the ARM (XC7Z045 with the the same silicon version for the ARM : v3).
I am short on ideas, any help is welcome !

Hello Austin. Yes we suppressed the Virtex to the JTAG chain and the problem was solved ! Thank you ! We will test in the next days the GDB debugger or XSDB command, as explained in the AR 62878 ..
