Facing problem of Assigned Value in CJ33

Hi All,
I am facinfg a problem with Assigned value shown in CJ33 T code. My Sceneraio is like this.....
1. I have activated availiblity controll on Released Budget.
2. I have maintained tolerence limit only for PR and PO.
Now My problem is that I budgeted one of my WBS as INR2000, Same amount is released also. I created a PR for INR500. The same PR is converted to a Purchase order of INR500.
Now in CJ33 T code my assigned value is comming as INR1000. Which is not correct for me because i have only used INR500 for my INR2000 budget and i want to use my Remaining INR1500 budget for another PR, But system is giving me Budget excedded error.
Please advise. It would be a great help of all of you.

I had a strong feelilng that you were using ECC 5.0. I had come across the same issue. Just refer the note and try to apply the notes mentioned there. I am not sure which one i had applied but you can try out with the note number that Muraleedharan has mentiond in the thread. It should work.

Facing Problem with passing Values from One report to another

I tried the same report with Table option, the value is passing correctly.
Is there a way to get rid of this situation using Pivot table.

Problem in assigning value from search help

Hi experts,
I have created an elementary search help for the custom field (Say for example YFIELD1) via SE11. Selection method's field name is YFIELD2 with same type as YFIELD1.
But when I press F4 on YFIELD1, I could see the values list but when i selected any value, it is not getting assigned to my field.
What my doubt is whether YFIELD1 and YFIELD2 should have same name?

Greetings.
there should not be any problem if your field names are different.
While creating elementry search help.... make sure that U check both import (IMP) and export (EXP) parameters and activate the search help once again.
If Ur EXP parameter is unchecked then U will be able to see the list of entries but it won't get into the field while creating entries in the main table.

The problem is that you try to execute code outside a method. This can be only done in form of a variable declaration or as a static initilization block which will be executed once when the class is loaded:public class ArrayTest

Problem to assign values to the methods of @PrePersist and @PreUpdate !

Good afternoon staff.
First I want to make clear that I do not speak English, so forgive some errors in writing.
I have a class that has some attributes that are not displayed on the screen and are populated only when the persist or merge, using it to the callbacks and @ @ PrePersist PreUpdate the JPA.
Let's give names to be summarized easier to write. So my first class I will call X and another Y, and the class X has, is, aggregates, contains a list of Y.
When I create a new object X leaving Y NULL, ie, no item, X is kept perfectly even with the aforementioned attributes (populated by the application in PrePersist @) with the correct values!
If I create an object X while Y populo with one or more objects and persist X command, everything is done properly as well, because I have a rule of CASCADE in the relationship with Y, so the persistence provider already does everything automatically and attributes that are included with the application of methods and @ @ PrePersist PreUpdate also are correctly recorded in both the X and Y (they both have these attributes).
The problem occurs when I edit the object X but I add a new instance of Y. I run the merge of X and persistence provider does the rest automatically. So far so good, works fine, but the attributes of the new object Y that should be populated by the application via the @ PrePersist are not recorded.
When performing an action DEBUG editing including an X Y, I noticed something "weird" that I will try to report below:
The first action that occurs when I run the merge of X is the object @ PrePersist Y. The method that is bound to @ PrePersist runs and ALL internal routine is performed perfectly, including the attributes that should be completed by the application, are actually met. But once the method ends @ PrePersist I noticed that the constructor of the class Y is run and the moment the attributes satisfied by the application are all NULL, and the other attributes of the User remains filled with the values that were. How do you know? I know because after the constructor of the Y to run, the next action performed is the @ PreUpdate object X and the moment I send the view state of the object Y and it is, as I said, filled with the attributes User-ok and filled by applying attributes from @ PrePersist all NULL! After the method @ PreUpdate be finalized, the log generated by the persistence provider terminates the recording, or actually perform the DML in the following sequence:
UPDATE .... X
INSERT INTO Y ...
And in this case my attributes Y populated by the application are all also NULL in the database (of course).

The issue is that with merge the object is first persisted, then merged, so the fields the event initialized are reset to the clone's values.
But this seems to have been fixed in EclipseLink. What version are you using? Maybe try the latest EclipseLink release.

Assigning value to Field - Symbol ( which is type of internal table field )

I am facing problem to assign the value to a field symbol. My requirement is creating a dynamic internal table and populate values into that internal table, so that i can display the values .
I am having a structure with fields like status , Plant1 name , Plant2 name.....Plant n .
So i declared an internal table it_tab with this structure.
I am having one more table which having number of records for Plant1 ,Plant 2 ,....Plant n based on some condition.
I need to count the number of records for Plant1 and i need to put in the internal table it_tab.
For this i created field-symbol .
Here, t_deployment table will have the plants 1,2,3...and
     t_devobject will have some records for these plants.
LOOP AT T_DEPLOYMENT.
clear w_count.
LOOP AT T_DEVOBJECT WHERE ZDEPLOYMENT = T_DEPLOYMENT-DOMVALUE_L AND

now my internal table field i.e. it_tab-plant1 came into <bet_var_name> . But i want to assign a value for it.
at last what i need is it_tab-plant1 = w_count.
whaterver the w_count has value that needs to assign to it_tab-plant1. But i don't want to assign directly it it_tab-plant1. I want to assign dynamically. Because tommorrow some more plants added to t_deployments , i don't want to make changes to my program. It should take care....w/o changing the program.
I tried the following statement.
(<bet_var_name>) = w_count. But its not working.
Please let me know how i can get this.

As ur requirement is creating a dynamic internal table,
try the following way,
remember the fieldcat should be of type LVC not SLIS.
BUILD LT_LVCFIELDCAT in a way that, the value from the internal table becomes the fieldname
ex:-
loop at it_models INTO WA_MODELS.
    LS_LVCFIELDCAT-FIELDNAME = WA_models-MODEL.
    LS_LVCFIELDCAT-SELTEXT = WA_models-MODEL.
append ls_lvcfieldcat to lt_lvcfieldcat.

DATA: DREF TYPE REF TO DATA,WA_REF TYPE REF TO DATA.
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <TEMP_TAB> TYPE TABLE, <TEMP_WA> TYPE ANY.
CALL METHOD CL_ALV_TABLE_CREATE=>CREATE_DYNAMIC_TABLE
    EXPORTING
      IT_FIELDCATALOG = LT_LVCFIELDCAT

now basing on the fieldcatalog <temp_tab> is build.
NOW FILL <TEMP_TAB>.

Problem in assigning field symbol to a nested internal table

I have searched the forum but could not find a solution to this problem. I have a requirement where I need to define an internal table within an internal table, so I have used pointer within the outer internal table(itab2) which point to the inner table. However, I am facing problem while assigning the pointer.
data: begin of struct1 occurs 0,
        fld3(10) type C,
       end of struct1.
data: begin of itab2 occurs 0,
        fld1(10) type C,
        fld2(10) type C,
        p_inner like ref to struct1,
      end of itab2.
field-symbols <inner_table> type any.
I want to assign "itab2->p_inner->* " to "<inner_table>".
However, the following statement is Not working:
assign itab2->p_inner->* to <inner_table>.
I want to fill the values within fields fld1, fld2 and fld3 and append it in itab2.
The final table should be like:
ITAB2:
fld1    fld2    fld3
aa      bb      cc
                 dd
                 ee
11      22      33
                 44
                 55
I have tried many other ways too but could not suceed, please help.

append ls_wa to lt_tab.
Its giving an error that:
The data object "LS_WA" does not have a component called "T_IN-FLD1".
I wanted the values to be appended in the following way in lt_tab:
fld3     fld1     fld2
A     B     C
     D     E

Problem in Assigning table to access sequence

i am facing problem in assigning table to access sequence for billing output type.
I have created 1 table B902 with the combination of Sales org,plant ,Division,Billing doc type.
but if i am going to assign with access sequence system is taking for Billing type & division & for other its showing red marks & errorr.Access sequence->Aceessess->Field.if i am clicking on field in I/O column for plant its displaying negative.
bcause of this i am not able to make condtion record.
Message is Select a document field for WERKS

Go to IMG --> Sales and Distribution --> Basic Functions --> Output control --> Output Determination --> Output Determination using condition technique --> Mantain output Determination for billing document --> Mantain condition table, in the pop-up choose the option "Field catalog: Messages for billing documents", there you can add standard field into the catalog, so you can add WERKS and the other one "document structure" I don't know what field it is, but if it is and standard field you can add it. If you have a Z field you need ABAP help to add the Z field to the structure "KOMKBZ5" and then you can add it to the catalog.

In the project role, we are doing staffing ( assigning BP). While assigning the BP's getting below errors.

Message no. DPR_BUPA_LINK004
Diagnosis
The validity period '10.02.2008'-'01.03.2008' for the assignment of project role Product Manager and ' Rakesh Pradhan' overlaps with the validity period of the assignment ''.
However, the project role type does not allow several staffings to be edited at the same time in the project role.
System Response
The system does not allow this constellation of data when saving.
Procedure
Check and correct the start and finish dates of the staffings affected.
Request you to advise in fiixng the issue.

For multiple staffings in the same time frame, check the option of 'Edit in Parallel' in the Role Type settings in SPRO.

Hi Chhayank,
the problem is not the exported xls. If you have a look inside with Notepad or something like that, you will see that your leading zeros are exported correct.Excel-settings occurs this problem, it is all about how to open the document. If you use the import-assistant you will have no problems because there are options available how to handle the different columns.
Another solution might be to get familiar with ABAP2XLS-Project. I got in my mind, that there is a method implemented, that will help you solving this problem. But that is not a five minute job

I have a problem with assigning more than one value to GROUP varible dynamically.
I am able to assign only one value dynamically through Initialization block
I have even tried with the ROW-WISE initialization blocks..
using this query..
SELECT 'GROUP', G.GROUP_NAME
FROM GROUP_MAP G
WHERE G.USER_NAME = ':USER'
if GROUP_1, GROUP_2 are two groups to be associated,
through this, i'm getting " GROUP_1;GROUP_2 " into GROUP variable ( seen from Narative view )
And the properties and securities of this Groups are not inherited.
Please let me know if there is any other way to Populate the GROUP variable dynamically with more than one value.

i finally got in this way..
i had created a function which takes USER_NAME as input and returns a string that contains the GROUP names with semicolon delimeted..
Though it is same as that of ROW-WISE initialization,
the properties of those groups are also being inherited..
Now, i can assign more than one groups and its properties to a user dynamically.

Facing problem while going to catch return result from web-services.

I am new to BPEL. I am facing problem while going to catch the attributes of resultsets returning from web-services(QAS). As far as my knowledge, two types of results it should return - XML entities and another is attributes which is coming as the part of XML entitites. I am able to catch the XML entities, but can't catch the attributes under it. Even, I am not able to see whether web-services returning something within that field.
When, I tried to catch the attribute and store to a temporary varilable using the following code:

Getting this error it seems to me that web-service is returning nothing, but, it returns something as it has been catched using a method called isPostcodeRecoded() Java Code in Oracle ADF. This method has been used as it should return boolean whereas for catching the xml entities using java code we used the method like getPostcode(), getMoniker().
For your information, we are using Jdeveloper as the development tool for building the BPEL process.
Am I doing any syntax error. Please consider it as urgent and provide me asolution.

here the attributes like FullAddress, PostcodeRecodedare , etc. are not being return by the web-service when it is getting the default value false. But, if it gets true then , it is being displayed at the BPEL console.

Hi Kumar,
You can use UserFieldsMD.Mandatory property to allow the UDF to be empty or not.
Note: You do not have to manage the real database value for the UDF. B1 is responsible to do this.

Facing problem during uploadation of Routing data using CA01-BDC - URGENT

Dear All,
When I am trying to upload Routing data using CA01 in the Table Control scenario, then I am facing problem as my last 2 records are not getting uploaded from my Test file.
For example, I am having 47 records in my Test File and after setting Default size parameters (to avoid screen resolution problem)
I have 15 table control line items data per page. The Page down logic ('=P+') is working fine, but my below BDC code failed to take
the remainder last 2 records from the Test File.
Analysis: When I am running my Call Transaction bdc in foreground, then the 1st page down occurs after 15th record, 2nd page down occurs after 29th record( as in Table Control 1st pages 15th record is coming on the Top of 2nd page). 3rd page down occurs after 43rd record
(as 2nd pages 29th record is coming on the top of 3rd page). In the 4th Table Control Page 43rd record of previous page is coming on top, and then its taking 44th & 45th records from the Test File and then it is triggering SAVE (=BU). Thus, our last 2 records
(i.e. 46th, 47th record) are not getting uploaded in the routing screen from our Test File.
If anybody has encountered this scenario previously, please help me URGENTLY in fixing the bugs here. Its VERY, VERY URGENT
FYI. For others 45 successful records already uploaded, all the screen fields values are coming properly in the routing screen, and here there is no issue.

Would request you to post this to ABAP-Forum for Immediate response.
I had this problem, but the ABAP guy did something to correct this...it was more of screen resoultion difference between the recorded system and uploading system. Please try to use the same system which was used to record and try.
