Is 30,40 a valid currency ? I don't think so !! Currency will be USD, INR, CAD something like that .
If it is not a valid currency then you can try correcting the data at PSA and also inform the business to correct at the source transaction.
If yes(valid) then try to transfer the currency from the source system as follows
Go to the source system->right click->transfer global settings.... Select Currencies and then select Update and then execute it, and then load the Data.
Also please be informed that the infoobject 0LOC_CURRC2 refers to 0CURRENCY infoobject .

Go to RSA1 -> 0MATERIAL (i think this is your characteristic, but please check, it is not very clear from screen shot).
Right click on 0MATERIAL -> maintian master data -> you'l get a selection screen. Enter value "Coaching" for material. It will most probably give you a pop-up saying that the value does not exist.
Now execute the selection screen without entering any value (the timer on the top). Create New record from the Create icon on top. Enter value Coaching for material. Rest fields should be left blank. Save and come back.
Now right click on 0MATERIAL -> Activate Master Data.
Once activation is done, you should go and activate your data.
IF the above does not work, then the error is in data that you loaded to your DSO. For that you will have to delete the request from your DSO. Now go into RSA1-> PSA (2LIS_01_S262) -> right click -> manage. Edit data into PSA : turn the value Coaching to COACHING. Save and come back.
Re-execute the DTP which loads to DSO, repeat the activation.
Please share if this works / not.

Facing the Error while opening the PDF Document generated by Adobe Forms

I have created an Custom Adobe Form and calling this form through a Custom Program and generating the PDF and could able to download on to my desktop but when i am tyring to open it i m facing the below Error.
"There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired" .
Please help me in this regard ASAP.

While Importing Foundation Services Facing the Error in (EPM 11.1.2 )

I have created a new application on test server to make a replica of production environment. All other things are ok but user and groups are not imported while importing the foundation services bkp....

I experienced this error as well today. I manually deleted the existing native users (not the admin user) in the target environment and a subsequent import was fine.

Help Needed: Facing the error ORA-01406: fetched column value was truncated

Hi Everyone,
When I run a particular PL/SQL query using Oracle 9i ODBC driver, it is working fine and fetching me the desired results.
However, when I run the same query using the Oracle 10g ODBC driver, I am getting the error: ORA-01406: fetched column value was truncated.
I have checked all the fields of the table and they are well within the allowable limit.
Can you please let us know what needs to be done to resolve this issue?

Well it's obviously a problem with the client software. Doesn't Datastage have some way of configuring these things?

then the file u have created must be on ur local presentation server.
when u r connecting thru Citrix, then it will refer to Remote Desktop which will be only one.
so try to maitain the file on the Remote (citrix) desktop and try to execute ur program.
It will work,.

Error while activating the Data in DSO

Hello,
We moved huge amount of FI data from datasource to DSO. After moving all the data, we tried to activate the data. But the mistake we did is we activated all the requests at one go. (my assumption) It turned all the request to Red. The job log says SQL error.
Is there any way of solving this issue without deleting the data. Data load will take too much time and we would like to avoid it if possible.

Same problem here in Brazil.
It seems to be a problem with logging in App Store in the Mac (Yosemite 10.10.2).
When I tried the very same userid and password I was able to login in to use my iCloud account from the same computer and also from my iPhone.

Error while loading the data in DSO (Bi 7.0)

Hi Friends,
I am working on BI 7.0 , I had run a DTP to load the data in DSO from another DSO.but there was some error in tranformation because of which DTP request didnt terminate with either green or red . then I fixed the bug in TRX and rerun the request .Now there are two requests. Now i deliberately changed the QM Light of the earlier request to Red so that I could run another request. The other DTP success fully loaded the data in Activation Que of DSO . But when I tried to Activate the second request I got a message that request can not be activated because earlier request is yet to be activated.
now I tried to delete the earlier request .Neither its getting deleted nor am I able to change the QM Light to Green .
What should I do to activate the Successful request to load the data in DSO.

I have a similar situation....
I load data from DSO 1 to DSO2....i run the DTP and look at the monitor after its green when i go to manage and activate i am seeing two requests instead of 1...i am not sure why...Can you guys tell me if there is any setting that needs to be taken care of.

Error while activating the data into DSO

My base DSO is used to load 4 other data targets.
In process chain, after the base DSO gets activated there are 4 DTPu2019s running to load the data from base DSO to other DSO and 3 cubes.
When loading to other DSO, We have encountered an error
Object is currently locked by BI Remote
Lock not set for : Activating data in DSO
Activation of M records terminated.
1. My question is when loading the data from base DSO to other objects , how does the lock mechanism works.
I know that we cannot load the data into base DSO, when base DSO is sending data into target.
2. What difference does it make when loading DSO to DSO and cube parallel?

Do you mean to say that the loading in the 2nd level DSO was successful .....but the activation failed ?
Have you checked in SM12 that whether that 2nd level DSO is somehow locked or not ?
Is any further targets getting loaded from this 2nd level DSO ?
Look suppose u r loading a DSO A.........and in the mean time some load starts from DSO A to some other target(it may be DSO or a cube).........then the activation in the DSO A will fail........because since the last request in the DSO A is not activated....that request will not get considered in the subsequent load....and since the load is already in progress....system will not allow to activate any new request......
Another option can be that DSO A is getting loaded from some other targets as well.......so since still some load is in progress in this target....it will not allow the activation....
So check it and atart the activation again..
2. What difference does it make when loading DSO to DSO and cube parallel?
The main difference is that there is no activation concept in the cube....so a cube may get loaded from several targets in parallel......
A DSO can also get loaded in parallel.......but activation should start once all the loads get completed successfully.....

Hi Experts , I am currently facing problems while running restricted version copy in sap apo .. The log says 0 location products copied and that the process has timed out. the error message is " /SAPAPO/MVM_INT_SVC_CO_VER_LCW reported exception in task DP00014 " , then ending in time limit exceeded. could anyone explain why this happens. please note even if the log says 0 location products copied , in reality they have have been partially copied.

I am using javax.servlet.context.tempdir to store my files in that servletcontext temporary directory. But i dont know how to give hyperlink
of the modified files to the user for them to download the modified files.
What i am using to get the tempdir i will paste

and as the servlet is multithreaded by nature, if my servlet gets 2 different requests with same file names, i guess one of them will be overwritten
And i want to create unique directory for each request made to the servlet , so file names dont clash.
one another thing is that i want my servlet to be executed by my <form action> only, I dont want the user to simply type url and trigger the servlet

Need to find the record in DSO which is giving error

Hi
I have a scenario where I am getting the following error while activating the DSO
'Value '109999002' of characteristic 0FISCPER is not plausible'.
I want to find which is the erroneous record as in the PSA the staus is green for all the records and in the log of the DSO
its not specifying which record has got this value.
Please advise how to track down the error.
