Factory Calender error

Hello All,
I am creating the public holidays for the year 2009 and assigned to holiday calendar. When I try to open any material in MD04 it is throwing the below message. Issues is very vital please respond.
Invalid factory calendar or error in the factory calendar 29.12.2008
Message no. 61063
Diagnosis
This problem is caused by a setting error.
Procedure
Check the various periods of the factory calendar in customizing. If you do not have the necessary authorization to do this, inform your system administrator.

Enterprise Structure=-->Definition->Logistics - General->Define, copy, delete, check plant

Hi,
Please check the path.
IMG>Enterprise Structure>Definition>Logistics - General>Define, copy, delete, check plant-->Define Plant.
Here you can find the which factory calender is assigned to your plant.
Then go to Tcode SCAL , select the Holiday calender and edit it . Double click on your holiday calender and change it i.e valid From year to To year. Go back , select the factory calender and edit it , give valid From year to To year.

Invalid Factory Calender error

Hello gurus,
While making a subcontracting PO, the following error is coming "Invalid factory error or error in the factory calender"
I have checked the plant settings & have put Factory calender IN for the plant. Still the error is coming. How to resolve this?

Why is it not allowing? what error do you get when trying?
Calendar maintenance is done thru CUNI, and cusotmizing is usually done in development clients.

Invalid factory calender or error in factory calender

invalid factory calender or error in factory calender 26.05.2008
I'm getting this error during STO in VL10B,
I've checked the fac. cal in t-code OX10 it is
K1 - genaral calendar for comp'y
But in shipping point of that plant Fac. calender is IN- India
Should i've to change fac. calender as k1 in shipping point of that plant.
whtr this can i directly change in production server or can i change in dev. server and transport the request to prod. (which is perferrible).
if this is not right, Kidly guide me the right way to resolve this

Error with factory calender

Hi,
When i try to run Tcode MD04, i am getting an error
3,297 date comes after end of valid factory calender (Please correct).
How to solve this problem?

the requiremnt's date related to the material are morathan the
factory calender valid uo tp year.
becouse of this sytem will throuh the message.
so yo increase the validity of your factory calnder.
go SCAL and select factory calender radio button and click on change, there you can increa the year.

Error at the time change factory calender (scal) validity period

Dear Experts
When I tried to change the factory calender Valid period with t code scal Fr. Year 1996 to Year 2011, it probe me the message "Please enter validity area between years 1995 - 2010." and I wasn't allow to save.
Pls advise how to solve the above problem.

your issue is clear that the factory or plant cllendar is defined for only 5 years 2005 to 2010
NOTE: pleaase contact your HR or FICO consultants for this issue & dont change any thing in PRD then you will be responsible for it

The date 14.07.2009 comes after the end of the validity period of the factory calendar that is assigned to the given plant
Could someone tell me how i fix this

See if your factory calender is properly maintained in 'SCAL' tcode.
If it is maintained properly, see if that is assigned to your plant in 'OX10' tcode. If this doesn't solve your issue, tell the detailed error message.

Factory calendar specify the work days at the customer's site .These calendars are used to determine when a delivery must take place in order for it to reach the customer's site on a work day when it can be received. We also use the factory calendar in consolidated invoicing. That is, if we specify that only one day a week is a working day for our customer ,the billing documents are only to be created for that one day each week, causing delivery documents to be consolidated into one billing document.
You maintain the factory calendar in IMG in T code SCAL and assign the factory calendar with plant and also sales org in Img while defining the plant in the Enterprise structure .If you donu2019t maintain it and make the standard order you will get an error-"Factory calendar missing or error in factory calendar".
Factory Calendar decides the holidays for the plant.
Sales order flow to production order and based on the factory calendar material availability will be confirmed to the customer.
Production planning/Scheduling will happen based on Factory Calendar

Days since Sales Order creation excluding holidays in factory calender

Hello,
Can anyone pls tell me the logic to retrieve the Days since Sales Order creation excluding the holidays in Swedish factory calender.
Current logic which we have thought of is
(The first succesful output - Order creation date)
But the result should exclude the Swedish Factory calender holidays (our client is from Sweden)
Now we need to establish the logic of fitting the factory calender into this whole issue. As we have to provide the logic to our ABAP er .

Your message is somewhat unclear to me.
When creating a sales order, a "Required Delivery Date" is needed.
This date is checked against the unloading calendar of the customer. If the system finds the requested delivery date = a non-working day of the customer calendar, it issues a warning (No goods accepted on DD.MM.YYYY. The next possible date is: DD.MM.YYYY (Message no. V1019). There does not seem to be any possibility of changing this warning to an error in the standard system; only possibility would be to modify the standard code.
If I have misterpreted your thread, then apologies, and feel free to elaborate on the issue some more.

Customizinbg Adaptor Object to download the Factory Calender

Hi there,
can anybody help me with the download of the Factory Calender from oure R/3 to CRM 2005?
I'm searching for a Customizing Adaptor Object. Is that correct, or is there another way to synchronize the booth calendars?
The problem is, that in TR SMW01 I have an error in one bdoc which tells me that I have a problem with the fabric calendar.

Dear Christian,
There is no download object to move the factory calendars from R/3 to
CRM. To have the correct description appear for your custom factory
calendar on CRM, you would have to manually recreate the entries in
table TFACD on the CRM system. The CRM IMG path is General Settings
-> Maintain Calendar.
Or you may transport acalendar data within a system landscape,
aplease check note 538344 and related notes.

Factory calender special rules

Hi MM consultants,
We have one issue related to Factory calender.
We updated the special rules in factory caleder stating that palnt is clsoed for some time in christmas.
Now the issue is after creating schedulign agreement delivery schedule release were sent to vendor mentioning that delivery is required during holidays and caused confusion.
My question is which table i can see the special rule created to the factory calneder so that i can confirm the releases were created before the calender updation.

Hi Yashwanth,
You can check the factory calendar and the special rules on SPRO > SAP NetWeaver > General Settings > Maintain Calendar.
There, select "Factory Calendar" and click on "display" button.
In the next screen, select your country and click on the "Calendar" button that is in the top of the screen.
In the next screen, make double click on the year 2012.
There you will see the Public Holidays of the Factory Calendar.
Now, yo check the special rules, go back to the screen that is showing the countries and make double click on the country selected.
In the next screen, click on the "Special rules" button and you will see the special rules for the country selected.
But, for the case of MM, the system is only sending a warning message when you are selecting a Public Holiday or Special Day in the delivery date. The message is as follow:
Delivery date: next workday is 10.04.2012
Message no. ME080
Diagnosis
The system has determined the next workday from the factory calendar that is assigned to the specified plant.
If you don't want that the Public holidays or Special days can be selected, you need to change this message as error message.
You can do this on SPRO > Materials Management > Purchasing > Environment Data > Define Attributes of System Messages > System messages.

Factory Calender taking wrongly

Dear Experts,
                     We have extended the factory calender which are assigned to the plants. But after New year the system is thrwing error like " Date lies after factory Calender 01", even though we assigned another factory calender and holi day calender..? This is happening to particulary one plant in one server. All other servers are OK .Then We extended the 01 calender in the development then it is OK. I want to know why system is considering 01 calender instead of assigned calender???

                    The Only one calender is defined and found one Definition only. As SAid by one of our expert there be BUFFER problem as SAP also suggested to refresh the FACTORY CALENDER as it is ending with 2010 year.
                    My Problem got solved as We updated/extended the 01 calender eventhough it is not attached to any plant.
                    My question is Why Particular Plant only behing like this ? If any BUFFER problem is there it will be applicable to all the Plants in that Server. I am getting this error when creating Sales Order (VA01).
                    For this I raised a request Note to SAP.My problem got solved Can I open this question as unanswered or Can I close it as I got solution ? Please Let me know Sir.

hi,
Check whether the delivery date matches with the that defined in the MMR(MM03) ie. GR processing time...
You can check the factory calender from OB08...check whether the del. is permitted for the given day...
