Have an iphone 4 running ios7 it was factory unlocked
I forgot the password which i entered so i connected it to itune and did a factory reset now when i restored it went and downloaded the new version of ios and now its factory locked again this i phone was a gift so i dont know which carrier its locked to.
What can i do to factory unlock it.

Phones do not re-lock unless they were previously hacked so that could be unlocked. Sounds like yours was NOT factory unlocked.

To tell the truth I forgot to mention that I already did what you said, even more I tried all "reset" options including:
Reset all settings
Erase All content and settings
Reset Network settings
Etc
Even
Reset location and Privacy

Took my phone to the Apple store this week and they told me it was a hardware/screen malfunction. They replaced the screen for free since it was under warranty. Now it works fine again!

No. To update to the latest version of iTunes you need to upgrade the OS to Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
Start by checking if you can run Snow Leopard:

Why can't I see the airplay icon in the music app or control centre on my Iphone 4 running ios7? I can see it in the movie app
I've seen something yesterday that says Airplay in control centre is only for Iphone 4S and onwards. It's frustrating when they take something away without any obvious reason. I'm going to change back to IOS6 until it's sorted out.
I also tried connecting to bluetooth and only once I'm connected does an icon show up in control centre. There's no direct way to connect to a device from control centre on the Iphone 4 from the looks of it. -
When I pull the notification screen down after about 5 seconds the screen goes black and then the apple appears for about 30 seconds and then returns to the home screen, this is an iPhone 4 running ios7 , any ideas??
One problem though, the top button on my phone is jammed so i cant power off the phone, anyway of resetting the phone without using the top button ?

I have an iPhone 4 running iOS7. With the last update my iTunes crashes upon opening. The app store and other Apply apps do not. Please assist.
Befor Restoring the whole phone, try the following:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
This deletes all of your preference settings, returning them to the defaults. It will not erase any of your data or apps.

In the Get Info panel click the lock icon bottom right corner.
You will be prompted for your admin password to proceed.

Not enough storage space. Do you backup to icloud? When you plug your ipad into charge it backs up to icloud. Your out of icloud storage. Could be the reason.

The discussion of unofficial methods is not allowed on this forum. It violates the TOS. Google is where you need to go. Just remember this http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3743 and if you try and update the device in the future, it will be locked back again to the original carrier. Better off selling it to someone locally that uses that network and purchasing an unlocked phone if they are available in your area.
