FAGLF101 Understanding the track

Hi Experts
I have posted used tcode FAGLF101 to transfer the debit balances of Vendor at a gicen date to Vendor Recievable and Vendor Recievable Adjustment Account in order to make fair presentation of reports. Let us say only one Vendor X&Y has negative balances as on that day and the FBL1N shows only 2 line items in each account. Now when I execute the job and run it in SM35 also. I get to see entries in VR & VRA a/cs successfully. Now my question is that will I be able to see any audit trail between the line items in Vendor a/cs and the VR/ VRA accounts. In other words, can I track which entries in VR / VRA a/cs represents which entries of which account? I know by matching the amounts, its possible but what if the amounts are same for more than one line items in different account. I hope u got the point what I am asking for?

Rotoscoping is NOT a simple nor time efficient task. The track points behavior works best when used on a static mask that is moving in the frame (often due to a camera move). The problem with trying to apply that to a person is that a person's shape changes too much for the behavior to make sense of.
Unfortunately, if you can't key the person out, you need to roto them out of every single frame. This can be streamlined a bit in a couple of ways.
You can break the mask up into several pieces. For example, have one mask for the head, one for the torso, one for each arm, etc.
Also, while keyframing, break moves up into segments so that you only adjust keyframes when the mask deviates from the animation.

To be absolutely honest, I don't really understand what this box is for, so I shall just use it to repeat and expand on my question. (I have already sent a "Feedback" comment on the same topic).
How can I get iTunes to display the tracks from a CD in their original (album) order?
It seems to me that there is something very basic wrong with the way iTunes handles CD Tracks.
Professionally produced CD tracks are seldom if ever in a randomised order. Why then does iTunes seem unable to display the tracks in the order they appear on the original CD source - whether from a personally owned CD or from a download from the iTunes Store?
Some music demands a specific, non-alphabetic sequence in order to make sense. Why does it seem that iTunes only offers Alphabetic, or reverse alphabetic order - both of which make a nonsense of the original, often intended order of tracks?
Why not replace the so-called "cover-art" in the bottom left hand corner if the iTunes window - which, while it may look attractive to some, gives the barest of information concerning the original disc, with a list of the original CD tracks in their original order, so that the user can easily reestablish the order in which they should be played.
As I would expect legibility might be a problem with doing this, why could not the original contents, (in their original order), at least, be displayed when the "cover art" is double clicked-on - the result of which at present gives me an enlarged version of the "Cover Art". While on the subject of the contents of the source disc, what about all the album notes which someone takes trouble to write in order to increase the appreciation of the music on the CD and the listener's general background knowledge of the artists involved. Such notes, it seems to me, have considerable intrinsic value in their own account. I would, I think, normally be prepared to buy such "Sleeve notes" - so long as a "taster" was supplied (as it is for the music) - for something like the cost of a single 'Tune" on iTunes.
These two aspects let Apple iTunes down enormously, in my opinion. I think that by chopping even quite protracted sequences of music up into bits does no one any favours - except perhaps Apple's already quite substantial bank balance. People have to be aware that two and a half, to three and a half minutes is a very short time to develop a piece of worthwhile music, and that there are many, many composers, not all of whom are alive today who have written music that huge masses of mankind value for the enrichment of their lives and the human condition in general.
Please make the viewing of iTunes tracks in their correct order by default possible. By all means have the alphabetical variations available as offering a different approach to the music, but not the sole approach to it - PLEASE.

PS I work at my old 24" iMac Intel Core 2 machine which runs OS "Tiger" - because it is more beautiful to look at, the screen is more pleasant to work on, and because, in some ways it is more capable (it will run FreeHand MX without needing a "patch"), than my more recent 21.5" which runs "Snow Leopard". (I don't find it that much slower, either).

Thanks for the support. I am utterly amazed that after all the hype about how good iTunes is that it cannot play a downloaded CD in the correct order, and that what that order should be is not available directly from within one's own iTunes installation. (I know that one can go back to the iTunes Store to check what the order should be, but having downloaded the tracks surely iTunes is clever enough to retrieve this important information.
My iTunes to differ from yours in that I have also noticed that it seems unable to download copies of my "talking books" in the correct order either. But in my case it downloads them - from a CD - in order, but with the first track downloaded first - so that it appears at the bottom of the column of tracks so that it would get played last! (At least this is, while being inexplicable, a relatively "logical" bit of blundering and because of this is relatively easy to put right!).
I like many genres of music, some of which are not really programmed except perhaps by the artist performing them. I know that Frank Sinatra was very careful to programme his album songs to obtain a particular effect and in relation to the keys of the music. iTunes presumes to know better.
Film scores may be totally randomly put together, in some cases, but in others the order is vital to one's appreciation of the music as a whole and how it relates to the plot of the film.
In symphonic music most works are divided into sections and are conceived by the composer that way. Some individual sections may gain a life of their own if played separately, but they are never complete in the sense that the composer envisaged them without being placed in their proper context.
Opera and probably most choral music too, is similar except that the words may well become meaningless if the order is changed at the whim of a piece of ill-written computer code, while ballet music has to be heard totally within its sequential context or it becomes meaningless.
Finally, I would venture that iTunes, by jumbling up the order of the tracks as recorded on a CD, does an immense disservice, not only to the music on a particular CD, but to music in general, by expressing everything in terms of "Songs" - which it seems to interpret as stand-alone items of between 2 and 4 minutes whatever the genre. Even the way the iTunes publicity speaks of how many "songs" it can store instead of how many minutes or hours of recorded sound. This has to be another brick in the wall of "dumming-down" of people's expectations, and the shortening of their attention spans.
I don't know about anyone else, but I feel betrayed by Apple over this. Perhaps the look, feel and general presentation of an item are not the most desirable features of a consumer product. Maybe it should be judged more on it fitness for the purpose for which it was sold. There is one other possibility - that Apple are trying to redefine "Music" - and that everything that lasts longer than about 3.5 minutes or is in the form of what could for want of a better term be called symphonic in the broadest sense is something else - not "Music" within Apple's new definition, at all!
Well that's off my chest! now I can get down to creating some sort of order in my iTunes Libraries, knowing that I have to reconsult all the sources in order to confirm the source playing order.

[SOLVED] Trying to understand the "size on disk" concept

Hi all,
I was trying to understand the difference between "size" and "size on disk".
A google search gave plenty of results and I thought I got a clear idea about
it.. All data is stored in small chunks of a fixed size depending on the
filesystem and the last chunk is going to have some wasted space which
will *have* to be allocated.. Thus the extra space on disk.
However I'm still confused.. When I look at my home folder, the size on disk
is more than 320 GB, where as my partition is actually less than 80 GB, so
I guess I'm missing something.. Could somebody explain to me what does
320 GB of 'size on disk' means?

Bottom line is that the file's block size and block count data from the file's inode wasn't being interpreted and used properly. The bug is in PCManFM, not any dependent libraries. Details are in the bug report.
Since PCManFM is highly used by the Arch community, I figured I should post an update here so that there's some record of it in our community. Hopefully this gets addressed by the developer(s) relatively soon. :-)

Motion Tracking: How to link a object which is not the tracked one?

I have a video, its a landscape and the camera is moving from left to right. I want a flare appearing on the right side. There is one point which is always in the picture, I used this point to track the motion.
But the problem is, when I want to link optical flares with the tracking point, the flare is always ON the tracking point, but I want it a little bit more on the right side...
How is it possible to link a Object which is not exactly on the tracking point?

Usually you would apply the tracking info to a null and then use an expression to tie the position property of whatever you are trying to attach to the null with a simple expression. If you need update the position then you can either add value + to the front of the pickwhip generated expression or, and sometimes this is best, add a second null, parent null 2 to null 1 and then use the a layer space transformation expression on the position property of your effect. The expression looks like this:
p = thisComp.layer("Null 2");
p.toComp([0,0,0]);

I have had two instances of having a downloaded album "scrambled" while playing on appletv, I.e. the track listing remaining correct but having the wrong songs play. Once this has occurred the album does not play correctly. Any help with this issue?

I am having problems with Apple TV scrambling albums while playing from iTunes. The track listing remains correct but the songs play out of order and not all of the songs seem to in place, I.e. a song that played previously under one title will play as a different title. Any thoughts or help? Thanks.

Are you seeing your music listed in the iPod screen, or in Win explorer as in your earlier post?
I can see all the songs in my Edrive>al's Ipod> Ipod Control> Music folder.
A corrupted iPod database, will report zero music used, and have your music size reported as others, so you wont see the music in the iPod screen. Sorry, I thought there was some hope for you with iPodAccess, in recovery of the corrupted iPod database with your ratings.
You can try to borrow and use the Mac Disk Utility ->First Aid ->Repair.
Of course, if your iPod Hardisk is in a bad state, from the Disk Diagnostic report, then all my suggestion are futile.

I am trying to make a mix on Garage Band by dropping songs in the tracks from an ITunes playlist. I have done this many many times and suddenly I am unable to drop the tracks into Garage band. They swoosh right back into the iTunes playlist

Suddenly I am unable to transfer songs from iTunes to Garage Band. When I try to bring the songs over to Garage Band they will not drop into the track. They immediately go back into iTunes. I have made many mixes using GB and cannot figure out what has happened. Ive looked through system prefences, help window, etc. and cannot understand what has happened. Any advice?

I understand you can change track volume for a given track (by hitting the down arrow and fade it up and down). BUT then if you move that track - the track volume stays where it is so your volumes then get all messed up - any solutions?

This model is used to get a processor thats directly connected to the capture device - your capture device - if you even have one - can not deliver the two formats you used, instead you can properly use RGB and LINEAR and then a processor to convert.
Note that this ProcesserModel constructor is - in my experience - malfunctioning.
Instead connect directly to your capture device using a datasource and then use the processormodel constructor that also take a datasource.

Rec button in the track bug?

hello,
before posting this i've tried to search to similar problems to mine but i found none.
The rec button in the track space disappeared (the one next to the solo and mute button).
I've tried to use the "track header" to see if was disabled from there, but it is enabled and when i disable it it removes some spaces like if there rec button was there.
The weird thing is that the rec button disappears only from audio tracks (is visible in midi tracks and instrument tracks)..
I've tried to uninstall/reinstall logic several times, but the problem doesn't seem to solve.
What should I do?

I've downgraded my fwaudio - as asked by Tascam - in order to try to fix that terrible issue of all my FW1884 control surface faders going down to the bottom when opening a project (This, is very well known and annoying bug ...). I'm running Logic 8 under Tiger, I had the same issue with Logic 7.
If we take a look at Tascam website your FW1884 seems to be a OSX 10.x and Logic Pro fully compliant device, today (bottom of this page: http://www.tascam.com/details;9,14,46,16.html). And no news from your team for months whereas FW1884 doesn't work anymore with Logic for hundreds of people (easy to check around all dedicated forums).
So my question is : are you decided to try something to understand FW1884 Logic Pro users issues now ?

How does the Track Pad auto correct miss spelled words, unlike the mouse i can no longer double right click to change the spelling??

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you want to turn off auto correct in OS X. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.
Since you have already tried to turn it off for all apps, you can try individually.

The track pad buttom not working

Hey everyone,
I have a BB curve, and for some reason the track pad just stopped working. I am very gentle with my
BB and I don not really understand what could possibly happened. It is completely frozen on the left up side of the screen on the " search" option ( the hand lenses icon).
I already turned it off-on and I also removed the battery , and it is still in the same position.
I can receive calls, and make calls using the speed dial letter/pad. What can I do/try?

Monitoring the track being recorded

Hello all!
Audition 3 - Is there a setting that will allow me to hear the track being recorded while I am recording it? I am using headphones and using a line in jack to input the guitar signal but when I hit play or record the program mutes the recording track.
I understand why its doing that, to prevent feedback. But I am using headphones and all sound is contained in the system. So I would like to hear the guitar through the head phones what I am recording.

Go to the Options menu and choose Monitoring/Audition Mix. You can then choose between Smart Input which switches to Input when you drop into record or Always Input. However I should mention that depending on the speed of your PC and the type of soundcard and driver that you are using you may suffer from latency that will cause a delay between you sounding the note and you hearing it in the headphones. If you are lucky this may not be enough to stop you recording. otherwise you really need an audio interface that uses direct monitoring to get round this problem.

Understand the System Log?

I want to understand the System Log. What happened at this or that time, but in particular I want to see how much my son is playing World of Warcraft.
I know the info is there somewhere, but I don't know how to retrieve it...?

Understanding system logging is a rather complex issue: not one that lends itself to a quick description here. Its primary use, unless your a SysAdmin, is for gleaning additional information for troubleshooting, as discussed in my Checking Console for clues FAQ.
Tracking your child's game play is not something you are likely to find in the Console logs. Instead, consider MacMinder.

When text editing, the tracker has different person's name instead of mine. How to I correct that? I'm using iMac Intel Core i3, 3.06 GHz, 4G 1333 MH2 DDR3

Does this problem happen EVERY time you send an email?
Do you see the wrong FROM entry before you hit the send button? Or does the recipient report seeing another name other than yours?
Do you recognize the incorrect name being shown? Is it something you or someone else using your machine have ever used? Is it a name you have never heard of before?
Go to your SENT folder in Apple Mail. What do you see when you open one of your SENT emails, in the FROM slot? Is the name correct or incorrect?
Also, I don't understand your comment "I noticed it when I try to send a link via e-mail to another person." are you saying that when you paste a link into an email to someone that your name in the FROM field changes? Where are you putting the link, in what place in the email?
