After OS4 upgrade you are unable to attach photo to e-mail and quality of photos are poor . Fix reload all photos and quality is fixed and you can attach photo to e mail again same as before

yes, go into photos, select the photo, tap the screen, there should be a button with a box and arrow. tap that, you get an option to email the photo.
not sure you can do it from within the email app though.

  • I fail to attach photos to my e-mails tried another browser it is ok ?

When I write text in my Yahoo e-mail and then try to attach photos nothing happens. I have tried Exporer browser and that works ok

    Hi.
1st keep in mind that iCloud storage is different from photo stream storage, so you may not have backed up your iPhone as you said since you have no iCloud Storage but still there is a possibility that they are in photo stream storage. Apart from that I can only tell you that the main thing is somehow have the iPhone plugged in into a computer so you can import all pictures but if the computer does not see the device i´m afraid that you may not recover the pictures.

  • Attaching photos to Apple Mail - error when attaching multiple files

    Hello,
My iPhoto just recently started giving me an error whenever I try to attach multiple files to Apple Mail. The error says:
"Mail got an error: Can't get paragraph 8 of
content of outgoing message id 321072192.
    Invalid index."
The only option allowed is to cancel. When I look at my Apple Mail it has created a message with the first selected photo attached, but none of the other photos are there. Any ideas of how to correct this? Is this an email client issue?
    Thanks!

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
This is a problem between iPhoto 4 and 10.5.
The workaround is to use the Photo Browser on the new Message Window in Mail, just drag the pic over from there:

Every time I  attach an iPhoto to an e-mail response is name and password are not recognized by server.  I have no other e-mail or server issues but I cannot get this one resolved

The best way is to select the photo (s) you want to send and click the e-mail button at the pbottom of the screen
The photos are now kept in a Package for safety -- for a more complete discussion on the library package see TD's write up here - http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1126400&tstar

  • Since updating firefox, can't attach photo to e-mail

I use firefox 6 as my browser. Since the upgrade, I haven't been able attach any photo's to any out-going email. No problem in the past. I have centurylink.net as my server. After typing the email message, I click on"add attachment". select photo and click on attach. At the top of the page,"connecting" appears but fails to connect. There is no error messages or timing out messages. Something is not allowing the photo to be connected to email. I have tried to use Internet Explorer and it allowed the photo to be connection in a timely manner. I HAVE BEEN USING FIREFOX ALL OF MY COMPUTER DAYS. I DON'T INTEND TO USE I.E. AS A BROWSER.
    Thanks for any help.

Not helpful. 'clearing Firefox's cache' is not helpful, since 'cache' doesn't show up in any of the Firefox pulldown menu choices (wasted time looking for that), and the plethora of things 'recent' and 'history' to choose to act on in these menus is also a possible waste of time, not to mention removing useful info for no reason.
I, too, have had this problem 'intermittently' for many months, always involving the 'first' file to attach in a Yahoo! email, and I've always used this workaround OK: click on the filename showing as 'being attached' (while Yahoo's doohickey round spinner denoting 'in progress' whirls and whirls to no effect) and use "Remove File"; THEN, REPEAT 'attach file' task & it then works, if slowly. After that for the same email, attaching add'l files NEVER HAS A PROBLEM.
SO, now today, without any software update yet (I've downloaded Firefox v.11 & will install shortly), at numerous attempts during the day, I CANNOT get the FIRST file to attach in a Yahoo! email. Simply, utterly, frustrating without any rhyme or reason. "Everything else, on plethora of sites, working fine."
    thanks.

  • I can no longer attach photos in yahoo mail

    Hello,
How do you attach a photo in an email?  My email account is with Yahoo and my browser is Safari.  I used to click on the Attach button in an email, then type the name of the photo (like IMG_8648) in the "Search" field.  Now when I do this, nothing comes up as a match.  In fact, it doesn't find anything starting with IMG_8, despite gobs of my photos beginning as such in iPhoto.
I also cannot find the location of said file when I search for it in Finder.  I can only find it through iPhoto and through Spotlight.
    Help?
    Cherie

I keep some pictures in the picture files and they show up.  The photos that I used to keep in iPhoto (which disappeared on upgrade) are not accessible in word.  If you click on photo the file location (in Word) looks for iPhoto and comes up blank.  If you try to enter the file location for "Photos" which is pictures/photolibrary this is greyed out and not accessible.  The only way I have been able to do it is export the photos to a folder and choose the file.  This is a pain.

  • How do you attach photos to a Yahoo e-mail via Firefox?

I cannot find how to attach photos to e-mails to my Yahoo mail contacts via Firefox. Every attempt has failed.

There are three ways (at least) to get files from the iPhoto Window.
    1. *Drag and Drop*: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
    2. *File -> Export*: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
    3. *Show File*: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
To upload to MySpace or any site that does not have an iPhoto Export Plug-in the recommended way is to Select the Pic in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export and export the pic to the desktop, then upload from there. After the upload you can trash the pic on the desktop. It's only a copy and your original is safe in iPhoto.
This is also true for emailing with Web-based services. If you're using Gmail you can use THIS
If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser. Or, if you want to access the files with iPhoto not running, then create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use THIS
Also, for 10.5 users: If you use the extended Open or Attach dialogue (with Column View) you can scroll to the bottom of the Shortcuts and find the Media browser there. Select any pic you want from there.

  • How can I get to see attached video, How can I get to see attached photos sent from my iPad in a normal browser mail?

Let me elaborate: I sent a photo from the mail app my iPad has and I sent it to myself. When I receive the mail I get to see the attached photo on the mail app but when I get to look it on a normal browser FROM the iPad I doesn't appear. However when I do get to see the mail from a browser from any other device I can get to see the photo. Please help!!

Whoever provides you web access to your email may suppress photo viewing on mobile devices. You should check with them. (E.g., ask Google if it's Gmail, ask your ISP if it's your ISP's webmail viewer, etc.)

  • Attaching pictures to outlook mail

I'm having problems attaching photos to Outlook mail messages. My previous PC used XP and it was simple to click on Attach in the Outlook mail message and choose a photo(s) from My Pictures in My Documents. (Alternatively I could right click on any photo and select attach to email) Now my HP Touchscreen uses Vista and photos are kept in Windows Photo Gallery but don't seem to be accessible via My Documents (the only way I have found of locating and storing photos is via the Windows icon which takes me to the photo gallery). I can't work out how to locate photos to attach them if I click on Attach in an Outlook mail message. I have tried going in to Windows Photo gallery, selecting a photo and then clicking E-mail then attach as suggested in help and support, but although the  screens appear nothing happens and no mail message appears. I'd really appreciate it if anyone can help!

Vista does not have outlook - it uses Windows Mail. Have you set up Windows Mail?
If not, you can use this support document to go through the whole procedure.
However, I recommend not using Windows Mail and switching to Web-based email service: such as Windows Live mail, Yahoo Mail, Google's GMail, MSN Hotmail, and others. These services are failry easy to set up and they are easy to access from anywhere in the world and from any PC (you can easily check mail from any PC that has Internet).. all you need to know is your logon and password.
I use Yahoo and GMail...not sure about the others. With either of these, when you want to attach a picture you click an attach button and pop up window lets you browse to the image file on your hard drive (if you know where it is). They even scan the files for viruses for you automatically.
As far as where your photos are being saved, Vista uses an entirely new browsing interface that can be very confusing if you are used to XP. Also... photo gallery is the Windows software for viewing photos - it's not the same as the old "My Pictures" folder. The equivilent to My Pictures is Pictures... Click the Blue Start button in the lower left and then click Pictures in the upper right portion of the start menu. If you can't find what you are looking for , click Public in the left side of the Pictures folder and you can find more Public Pictures folders.

  • Photo attach using attach or Photo Browser in Mail not seeing events Folder

Recent upgrade on MacBook to Leopard and I now mail does not see photos synced from iPhone into iPhoto. Is there a way to refresh the folders displayed in mail when using the attach button?
Also, when I use the Photo Browser Button in Mail, I can see the photos sync'd from the iphone but can't get any attached to an e-mail?
    Suggestions?

    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
