Fail to install driver HP1050 deskjet for windows 8 when connecting printer with computer

I have this great HP desket 1050 printer for less than a year. My computer broke down so I bought a new one, but now with windows 8.1. So my printer was not working anymore, I fail to install my new printer. I can install the driver for HP1050 deskjet, but then there is a moment that you have to connect the PC and printer with an USB cable. This is the moment that the installation fails, nothing happens when I plug my printer into my PC. So I never finish the installation process complelty. The same thing happens when I choose add printer later and then add my printer. My printer is on and the cable is well plugged in. Anybody any suggestions as I would like to use this printer again. Installing Driver Software (full) for HP 4500 G510n-z

I have tried to download the software for my HP4500 G510n-z on my Fujitsu laptop running Windows 7 Professional.
Each time it comes back with the message "Installation Failed" and then starts removing the partaily installed software pieces, and starts prerparing a log for sending to HP. I have tried this several times but each time I come to the same problem point.
When I attach the printer with USB the driver downloads from the printer onto my laptop. What shows up in the control pannl is a HP printer called HP411CE2 (HP 4500 G510n-z). However, with this I can only print over my WifI but cannot control or use the scan functions. For other HP printers I get a an HP application on my desktop thru whcih I can control the sanning function, or check ink levels, etc.
Somehow, this printer has given me several problems in the past of getting disconnected from the Wifi Access Points
As other encoucntered this andif you know how to get this work can you help me with these probelms?

I understand you are unable to successfully install the software for your Officejet 4500, I'd like to help. Please complete the following steps and let me know the outcome;
Hold down the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box, type %temp%
Delete all files and folders from the temp folder. Choose skip if any pop ups appear saying any of the files could not be deleted
Download the software and choose to save as, save to desktop >OJ4500vG510n-z_Full_13_en.exe
After the software downloads and extracts, open the temp folder again, use the instructions from step 1.
Look for, and open the folder starting with 7z (Example: 7zS2356)
Open folder Util
Open folder CCC
If you have an HP computer run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have anon-HP computer run the L4uninstall.exe
When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.
Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box
In the Open box, type msiexec /unregister, and then click OK.

I am new to Java IDM . I had downloaded IDM 7.0 and trying to install. But i am failing to install Java IDM in a Windows XP machine with SQL Server 2005.

I got the following error while trying to connect the waveset database with Repository type as SQL Server 2005(JDBC Driver)

what name i can specify in JDBC ... is there any need to create DSN for that ...........

Do you have your SQL server set to Windows Authentication mode only?
You should change it to allow mixed authentication. You can do this in SQL Server Management Studio under Server Properties -> Security.

Using bootcamp 5.1, Windows 7 home is installed but missed installing the drivers disk. How to install the Mac drivers for windows after the fact.

While using Bootcamp 5.1, and OS X 10.8.2, I partitioned my Mac disk with 80 Gigs for Windows 7 home and the install went great, but I must have missed the time when I was to install the Mac drivers disk to install the drivers for Windows,(when in Windows I don't have a mouse or optical drive.) Is there a way to install the drivers after Windows is installed, or do I have to go through the whole process all over again?

Hi,
Try to use Chkdsk tool to check if it could fix this issue:
1.
Type cmd in the Start Search box, right-click cmd.exe in the Programs list, and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click Continue.
2.
At a command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
Chkdsk /R X:
In this command, X: is a placeholder that represents the drive letter of the volume that you want to check.
3.
Press Y when you are prompted to check the disk the next time that the system restarts.
4.
Close all applications, and then restart.
Meanwhile, please try to download Windows 7 SP1 package and then install it to check if this issue persists.

I am Trying to install iTunes 12.1 for Windows 8.1 (64-bit) and I get an Itunes window with an error that says:
An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT,type="win32",version'8.0.50727.6195",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3 b9a1e18e3b"processorArchitecture="amd64". Please refer to help and Support for more information.HRESULT: 0x800736B3
I already:
- Uninstalled all old Itunes versions.
- Tried a clean reboot to install the new version,
- Installed the security update’ Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package ATL Security Update’
But I still get the same error.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.

Let's verify your issue. Did you want to disable USB storage device?
If yes, try this:
1. If you have not ever already done so, you must connect a USB storage device
to the computer now, and wait until Windows installs it and displays it in the Computer window with an assigned drive letter, then
disconnect it.
2. Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog, type
regedit, and press Enter.
3. If prompted by UAC, then click on Yes.
4. In Registry Editor, navigate to the location below:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\USBSTOR
5. In the right pane of USBSTOR, double click on Start to modify it.
6. Type in 4, click on OK.
7. Close Registry Editor windows.

ITunes Error 7 (Windows error 127) after installing iTunes 64-bit for Windows

After installing iTunes 64-bit for Windows (latest build), I get an error pop-up saying:
iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes

I've gone thru the uninstall, reboot and reinstall process three or four times now. Still nothing.
Furthermore, after clicking okay to the error, it continues to pop up on it's own every 45 seconds or so.
There was one other error I came across after trying to launch iTunes after installation.

Brilliant. Thanks a lot. I've wasted a couple of hours on this nasty bug, & trying all the other suggestions across various threads again and again.
I now find I had the same registry entry hanging on, despite uninstalling & wiping everything again and again. Having now deleted this key, (I don't even have an iPod), & iTunes 11.1.14 now opens at long last.
But WHY is this bug not fixed? Enough people are suffering with this across the forum. WHERE is Apple support on this?

AHA! This entry for iPodService.exe still exhisted. So I had no folders on the PC, no installs on the PC and no services running.... BUT this was still in the Registry.
Step 5 - Delete only the Registry entry above. NO REBOOT
Step 6 - Reinstall iTunes64.exe
