Fail to install repository

hi all,
I'm trying to create a repository for my Designer 6i, which I downloaded from technet.oracle.com.
I couldn't install my repository and I got
this error message when I checked log file:
IMP00010 error, you're using an earlier version of import and export utility?
I'd appreciate if anyone could tell me how
to get around this problem.

The imp utility which the repository is trying to run is from old version (may be due to default ORACLE_HOME pointing to lower release )
Make sure the default home is 8.1.6 or above or you can change the parameter to point to correct imp utility
go to regedit,
go to hkey_local_machine\software\oracle\repos61\
and change
execute_export
execute_import
execute_plus_rau to point to correct path and exe file

  • Windows Server 2012 R2 - ALL HF's Failing to install as "Does Not Apply to this computer"

    Hi,
    A general question about hot fix installs.
    I have multiple servers that are all Windows 2012 R2. They do not have internet connections, so I have to install the Hotfixes manually. I download the HF's from the ISO download page (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/913086) every month. I collect them and install in a bulk install during a release cycle ( a couple times a year). I just realized that NO HF's have installed since JUNE 2014. Every HF that shows up in WindowsServer2012R2 directory fail to install with a message of "The update is not applicable to your computer". Which is fine if that was true, but.... I get this message for every HF from the ISO's since June 2014. NOT one HF thinks it is applicable to my computer. Could that be the case? No HF's apply to my Server 2012 systems since June of 2014?

  • Install Repository server...

    Hi,
    I don't know if I am in the right category for this question or not. but I am going to ask it anyway.
    I am thinking to install OEM repository server for performance and monitoring, but which CD should I use to install?
    Any feedback will be appreciated. Even just throw me some Oracle website to download.

    I have tried to install repository on a server where I already have oracle 9i installed and have a few databases in it. Anyhow, during installation, the univeral installer changed NLS_LANG = AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252 and it failed during creating repository database. So I quit installation and tried to restart my databases which are originally there; BUT I CANNOT OPEN THOSE DATABASE due to some character set error.
    ORA-12709: error while loading create database character set
    What should I do to change back my NLS_LANG?
    2nd question is, do I have to give OEM repository another home? Do I have to treat it as a different engine?
    HELP! HELP! HELP!
    PS. Where can I launch Enterprise Management Configuration Assistent from installer? Is it part of ./runInstaller? Or is there another execution file?

    I am new to Java IDM . I had downloaded IDM 7.0 and trying to install. But i am failing to install Java IDM in a Windows XP machine with SQL Server 2005.

    I got the following error while trying to connect the waveset database with Repository type as SQL Server 2005(JDBC Driver)

    Do you have your SQL server set to Windows Authentication mode only?
    You should change it to allow mixed authentication. You can do this in SQL Server Management Studio under Server Properties -> Security.

  • Yaourt fails to install *any* AUR package

    Hello, I'm new to Arch, but since my problem is pretty much specific to yaourt/AUR I thought this would be the better place to ask around.
    I tried to install a whole bunch of packages from the AUR repository, but almost all that I tried failed to install, mainly dependency errors far into or after the compiling process, one example - the game Go-Ollie wouldn't install because the Image Magick library wasn't found. However, Image Magick is installed, but there's no trace of it's library not in the AUR, nor the community repository. Same with A7XPG - failed to install because something was missing that I can't find anywhere. I am starting to get VERY frustrated. It looks like there are a ton of broken packages floating around in the AUR and there are a ton of programs missing that I'm used to having on the other distors (Ubuntu, Fedora, etc..) What am I missing here? Am I doing something wrong or is AUR/Yaourt really as messed up as it seems? A little help?

    The AIF was not ditched for any but the most simple reason: It was buggy as hell and the maintainer did not have the time to keep it going. It tried to do everything, to cover every scenario, but was ultimately a victim to its own complexity. The new installer is not more complicated, it is actually more simple. All you have to do is follow the readme step by step and make your own decisions in the process. I find pacstrap and arch-chroot to be more universal than the old AIF. Before the switch, creating an install script was a painful process of understanding the AIF and learning its syntax. Now we have these straight forward tools, so building your own install script is very easy. It also gives you a more in-depth knowledge of what's going on on your system.
    The new installer also seems to be more friendly towards wifi users. Then you will never ever again have to deal with the situation, that the AIF somehow kicks you out of the process and then complains about an ongoing installation, without telling you where the lockfile is or how to fix this manually. In a menu, I always press down and enter to get to the next item. The AIF did half of this, it moved the cursor down to the next item automatically. In more than one occasion, I killed the installer with this and sometimes even had to redo the entire process (incl. downloading the packages), because bringing the installer back to a specific state was a painful act. I find the current solution more user friendly.
    If you feel like Arch could need a menu driven installer, you are invited to create one, but all attempts to do this so far either drowned as quick as they had emerged or were rejected by the other users, because they were either too specific, too buggy or generally failed to add anything to the process, that the current install scripts have to offer.

    nothing is mounted (i rebooted before applying). not sure why it's giving that NFS error. it's consistent tho.. if i reboot and try the manual install of the patch, I get the same error.
    after the failed patch "installed" it left my sound not working... so far everything else appears to work. any thoughts on fixing this are appreciated. i ran diskutil and 'fixed perms' and 'verified disk' ... patch still fails.

    Try reinstalling the patch. If you get all the way through the installation, then see if your sound works. If not, then I suggest you do a repair install of Sno by installing Sno over Sno as in an upgrade install. Such an install, while usually very safe, still is an install so be appropriated backed up if you proceed.

  • Failed to install Creative Cloud desktop error code 1 Windows 8.1

    I just recently tried to begin a trial of creative cloud in order to get access to photoshop. I really need photoshop for my school because of how powerful it is and the tools is offers. A couple weeks ago I tried to download and install creative cloud for windows 8 64-bit, and the download begins, but once it reaches around 50%, it raises an error message saying "We've encountered the following issues: Creative Cloud desktop failed to install (error code 1)". I was having problems with the internet at the time so I just naturally assumed it was the cause. So I went ahead and gave it a couple of days before I tried again. When I tried again I received the same error message at the same time. I continued to look around for a solution and trying it everyday but I have had absolutely no luck with it, and honestly am getting quite frustrated with it. I have looked everywhere for a solution, I tried the adobe clenup tool, I have checked to make sure I don't have any previous versions of adobe products on my computer, and even tried installing it as an admin in safe mode, and still nothing. I have no idea what to do next, but I know that I have to get ahold of photoshop, one way or another, and it must have the professional tools included in the creative cloud edition. Please tell me there is a simple solution and I have been blind this entire time. If there is no solution, can someone direct me to another software similar to photoshop that has access to the plug-in dDo? (I am in game development and have heard how powerful dDo is and have been dying to use it.   • HP C1680 fails to install Software

    Can you please help
     I have just reinstalled my operating system Windows 7 6- bit OS and needed to reinstall my printer HP Photosmart C6180 All in One. When I first got my new PC( Dell XPS 501L windows 7 Intel core i5. 243M  2.40GHz)  I originally install the whole package with no issues.
    after the reinstall of the OS, this is issue I was I getting when I tried to reinstalled the HP application (AIO_CDA_FSW_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe )
    Error message:-
    C:\Users\andylouey\AppData\Local\Temp\7zS4864\setu​p\HPzPNP.ice.
     I have done the following:
    Tried to install from an old download of the software.  Result Failed to install message as above.
    Tried the original install CD and also tried to use them in various compatibility modes. Result Failed.
    Downloaded the critical updates from HP solved the above error message result the above error message was solved.
    Downloaded the latest install software program for my HP printer from the HP website tried again to install failed
    Ran the HP Scan doctor reported that the printer drivers are all working asked it to run the scan program it reported that it need the full install of the C1680 software to run this
    I got the download again ran it. It extracts the file then just disappears and looking at the task manager there is not install running. So again failed
    For the second time I downloaded the HP installer network printer wizard but this failed and just keeps going round in circles> It finishes the download gets to the extracting point and then goes back to the identify printer( which is listed) then goes back once again and downloads the install software.
    Other steps I have taken. I used the old installation disk to do a complete uninstall of all the drivers and software  using Utilities> CCC> Uninstall_ L2.bat . This wored and uninstalled the printer and drivers and I think any remaining software.  I also deleted all the %TEMP% files that my Laptop would allow.
    Then once again I I used the install wizard first without the USB cable disconnected then the wizard asked me to plug it in. I plugged it in and HP Wizard found the printer and downloaded the appropriate software completed the download and extracted it and then NOTHING.
    I have also downloaded the critical update:-

    I can print to the printer both wirelessly and via the USB port. But the Solution center will not install just keeps looping. ie idenifies the printer downloads the latest sofware and extracts it then just dissapears of the screen. Nothing comes up and there are no HP programs running in the applications task manager and no processes either.

    I have a 2012 R2 Essentials server that fails to install the UEFI KB2920189 update.  All other updates installed fine.  It's running two disks, one has 8.1 the other has 2012 R2 Esssentials in dual boot mode.  No VM.  I have heard reports
    of successful installs of this kb2920189 update that basically bricks the OS on reboot.  I would like to avoid this.  The error code during the failed installation is 800F0922.

    Please refer to following operations and check if can help you to solve this issue.
    Refer to the KB (KB947821), and use the inbox Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool. Then install
    this update again.

    reset Windows Update components and monitor the result.
    Please perform a
    clean boot and check if you can install this update successfully.
    If this issue still persists, please navigate to: %windir%\Windowsupdate.log and check the log file if can
    find some more clues.

  • Fail to install Distibution Point on Windows Server 2012

    I have been trying to install a distribution point via sccm 2012 on a windows 2012 server. I keep getting errors about the drive not found (distribution manager failed to verify drive specified by user on distribution point) and it won't install. It worked
    on all the other servers I tried, but this one keeps giving trouble.
    Does anyone have any idea as to the cause?

  • Install of CUCM 8.6.1.10000-43 on VMWare fails on installing progmeter

    Hi, Everyone
    First time post here, and first time installing CUCM (any version).
    I built a VM using a downloaded OVA template for CUCM 6.5.1.10000-43, and the install fails with a critical stop.  Once I figured out how to dump logs to the virtual serial port, and looked at the install.log, I found the following information that looks like where the install failed (these are the only LVL::Error and LVL::Critical messages in the log).
    It looks like install failed to install the progmeter application component.
    Does anyone know what this app does?  Any ideas on why it might have failed to install and possible workaround?
    I may already have the answer to the question, as I'm attempting install on a VM running on VMWare vServer (rather than ESX/ESXi/vSphere).  It is possible that simply being on an unsupported configuration is my problem.  I'm trying to work with the equipment immediately available to me, but fully understand that I may have set myself up for failure by even attempting this.
    Any help is appreciated greatly.

    I have allocated the VM one CPU

  • Snow Leopard fails to install - Tech Support and Genius Bar can't fix it

    I am having an exceedingly difficult time installing Snow Leopard. I have tried everything I can think of and tech support AND the Genius Bar have failed me so far.
    The Details:
    Every time I install SL it starts off well but sometime between 18 minutes remaining and 6 minutes remaining it fails. I get an error message that says there was an error that prevented installation. Looking in the installer log gives me a little more information. It usually has 15 or so errors, the last of which is always a very long line saying some package failed to install/unpack/be copied. The odd thing is that the file name is different every time.
    So far I have tried:
    Repairing the disk and installing
    Installing from a different install DVD
    Installing from external hard drive at the Genius Bar
    Installing using RAM borrowed from the Genius Bar
    Wiping the HD completely. I erased all my partitions and tried to install on a completely blank hard drive with a single HFS+ partition
    I can only think of a few things that can cause the install to fail: DVD, optical drive, RAM, files on HDD, and HDD hardware. I think I've eliminated all those possibilities except HDD hardware. Changing that on a MacBook isn't trivial and I don't have one handy. Also I would think a HDD problem, or any hardware problem, would cause all sorts of errors and with the exception of this the machine has no serious problems and apps crash only occasionally. I've had no system crashes for as long as I can remember.
    I have a Time Machine back up and have successfully restored my old Leopard System onto the MacBook (twice now) so at least I have the option to just give up on SL if I want to. As an aside, restoring from TM went well but not perfectly. Next time I install an OS I will be making a disk image backup. Does anyone else have any ideas? If you solve this problem I'll be eternally grateful and very impressed.

    I'm sorry. I should have answered when you asked about RAM the first time. I have 2GB. I have tried installing with that, and I tried installing with RAM at the Genius Bar. I don't know how much the guy used at the Genius Bar.
    Last night I restored from time machine so I currently have Leopard installed on the machine. After the restoration my email archive is little strange, I had to re-authorize iTunes and various other annoyances pop up but it runs without any problems.
