Hi
I am trying to edit the "Default Domain Controllers Policy" but when I click on Edit, I get the error message as shown below.
We have three domain controllers, 2 of them (hq-dc1 and
hq-dc2)are 2008 R2 and one (hq-dc3) is 2012 R2.
The permissions are correct as I'm trying with domain admin account and I checked the permissions and domain admins have the necessary permissions.
The Policy does exist.
The replications works fine also!
any ideas any one???Hi everyone and thanks for all your help.
The only GPO effected is the "Default
Domain Controllers Policy". I can edit any other GPO's fine.
I have tried editing "Default
Domain Controllers Policy" from all three domain controllers and I get the same error on all of
them.
I can access SYSVOL via the shared path also and read the contents.
I have looked at the threads provided also but still no luck :( -
OAM- "You do not have sufficient access rights" message with Master Admin
Customer has configured the OAM system to have both the primary and the secondary side for failover purposes. The back end directory server on both systems are in sync. The primary side of the systems works well as far as this issue is concerned.
On the secondary side, if you login with the MASTER administrator of the system and click 'Identity System Console' or click any of the configurations under the Configurations in the User Manager, you get the error message saying "You do not have sufficient access rights". However, if they navigate to the Access system on the same browser and access the "Access System Console", and then navigate back to the Identity system, the Master Administrative rights are granted and now have a full access to the system.
We tried following things to resolve the issue, but could not resolve it:
1) Tried deleting 'cookieencryptionkey' which is found under "obcontainerid=encryptionkey,o=oblix" and restarted both the Identity Servers.
2) Confirmed that the OAM administrator is present in cn=Web Masters,o=Oblix,<> and cn=Directory Administrators,o=Oblix,<> from the LDAP.
3) Under the apps=PSC node, checked the Advance Properties for the 'obuniquememberStr' attribute:
- Master Web Resource Admins (cn=master web resource admins, obapp=PSC, o=oblix, ...)
Made sure that the values for the 'obuniquememberStr' attribute has the correct value there.
4) Reconfigured the Secondary Identity Server.
None of the above really helped to resolve the issue.
Could anybody please help here to get rid of this issue.
-AmolHi Vinod,
Here is the customer's response to your above 2 questions:
1. We have 4 Directory server profiles for Identity servers; one for user data and one for configuration data for each server.
I have at least reduced them to two and used only the ones initially used by the primary identity server as our user and configuration data do not reside together. User data is consumed via OVD.
However, this does not seem to have any effect on the current behavior.
2. All components except for the access server are on 10.1.4.2 and the access server is on 10.1.4.1
Also below are the errors from the oblogs:

I checked the OVD logs but did not find any error in it. Customer also tried to unprotect the /identity and /access URLs but the issue persist.
Also I do not feel this as a bug, because this environment was working quite for few months without any such issues, also there were no changes made on the OVD/AD configurations. However, the server that hosts the OVD/AD was shut down and when it was restarted, we started experiencing this issue. -

Everything I look up for Event ID 1085 seems to be about a different cause.
Any ideas?I enabled tracing on a domain gpo and I still get the error when running gpupdate /force .
I'm also still getting Event 1085. Here's the trace file. I've anonymized the site/domain and the GUIDs.

Ahmed Zidan Network AdministratorHi Ahmed,
>>Windows failed to apply the Group Policy Printers settings. Group Policy Printer
>>s settings might have its own log file.
Were we using GPP Printer extension to deploy printers? Did we deploy printers to user accounts or computer accounts? Besides, what printer did we depoly via GPP, local printer, share printer, or TCP/IP printer? Here, we can check event
logs in Event Viewer to see if more information regarding this issue can be found. Besides, we can also run command
gpresult/h gpreport.html to further check how group policy settings were applied. If necessary, we can enable GPP Printer debug logging for troubleshooting the issue.
To enable GPP Printer debug logging, we need to enable the following setting:
Computer Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > System > Group Policy > Logging and Tracing>Configure printer preferences logging and tracing
Regarding how to enable GPP debug logging, the following article can be referred to for more information.

I am trying to import developed images from LightRoom 5 into Photoshop 6. I am receiving this message and the images will not open.....'Could not open scratch file because the file is locked, you do not have necessary access permissions or another program is using the file. Use the 'properties' command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file'. This has not happened before. How do I change this?

Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended
"Could not open a scratch file because the file is locked, you do not have necessary access permissions, or another program is using the file."
I've tried finding and checking and fixing permissions but no success.
This happened from one day to the next. I think it has to do with the sn attached to the disk rather then the motherboard. I have the suite co-installed with Symphony 5.05. I've tried reinstalling.
What's to b done? The rest of the Creative Suite 6 (AE, AI etc.) works fine.
Anyone...?
LouiHave you tried restoring the Preferences yet?

When I quit Photoshop CS6, the following message appears:
" Could not save Preferences because the file is locked, you do not have necessary access permissions, or another program is using the file. Use the ‘Get Info’ command in the Finder to ensure the file is unlocked and you have permission to access the file. If the problem persists, save the document to a different file or duplicate it in the Finder."
If I try to change the Workspace in PS6 from Essentials to any other Workspace, the following messsage appears:
"Could not apply the workspace because the file is locked, you do not have necessary access permissions, or another program is using the file. Use the ‘Get Info’ command in the Finder to ensure the file is unlocked and you have permission to access the file. If the problem persists, save the document to a different file or duplicate it in the Finder."
I have checked the Sharing and Permissions section of the "Get Info" panel accessed from the Finder and I have set Read and Write Privileges for my user account for Photoshop CS6. System and Admin are also set to Read and Write.
I have a MacBook Pro with OS X Version 10.9.5 and have all available updates for Photoshop CS6, Lightroom 5 and Bridge CS6.
I tried uninstalling the program and downloading it again and reinstalling, but nothing changed.
Can you help?
Thanks,

why i see this massegae? (iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation. Make sure your connection is active and try again.)
Hey there Hannuj,
It sounds like you are unable to access the iTunes Store in the iTunes application. Based on the error message I would try the steps in the article here named:
iTunes for Windows: iTunes Store connection troubleshooting
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1527
Remove pop-up blockers
Some pop-up or ad-blocking programs may interfere with the ability of iTunes to connect to the iTunes Store. Removing them in many cases will resolve the issue.
Flush DNS Setting in Windows
In some cases, the DNS information you computer uses to connect to the Internet needs to be reset. Follow these instructions to flush your Windows DNS information:
Windows XP
On the Start menu, click Run.
In the Open field type cmd and click OK.
In the resulting window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Return on the keyboard.
You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.
Windows Vista and Windows 7
On the Start menu, point to All Programs > Accessories and then right-click Command Prompt and chooseRun as Administrator from the shortcut menu. If Windows needs your permission to continue, clickContinue.
In the resulting window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Return on the keyboard.
You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.
Note: If, in the command prompt, you see this message: "The requested operation requires elevation", close the command prompt and repeat steps 1 and 2 above to be sure that Administrator privileges are used to access to Command Prompt.
See the following articles for additional troubleshooting information on connecting to the iTunes Store:

On a Windows 2008 R2 server that had been working fine, all of a sudden some shared folders became inaccessible. Clicking on them returned the following: "<Folder> is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network
resource. A device attached to the system is not functioning."
If I create another share with a different name for that same folder, it works fine. If I delete the original share then recreate it with the same name, I get the same error. However, if I right click on the problematic share and select 'map
network drive' that works. So this would not appear to be a permission issue.
I discovered this problem because the path for mapping the home folder as a property of their AD account stopped working.
I have tried most of the common things found on the internet. I've tried accessing via IP, same issue. While I only have a couple 2003 servers, those can access this resource.
At this point, I'm pretty much out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated. I also have some reports of potential issues with some printer mappings too which I will have to investigate in the morning.
If anyone has a solution to this I would be extremely grateful. Thank you.Hi,
Can you access the shard folder locally? Is a specific server cannot access the shared folder? Please try to Boot your server in Clean Mode to check if some third-party software cause the issue.

cheersHi Guys,
I have the sam problem just upgrading to iOs6.0.1. iTunes returns the following error:
Ive tried updating via my device (New iPad) and same problem.
I started downloading the update last week but stopped it for reasons I cannot remember. Now it seems that Ive clogged my system.
My iTunes is up to date. I have however not run any Quicktime or iCloud updates cause i do not use the software. Will it make a difference.
Also my Windows updates might be a bit outdated, say about a month or so.
Please help, very frustrating!
Also sorry but while Im here I have another question. A while ago the brightness level of my iPad adjusted by itself (not Auto Adjust). Its like it dimmed via Auto Adjust and did not "un-dim" and now Im forced to run brightness at 100% and consequently is hard on battery life. Any ideas? -
You do not have sufficient access rights, pls help
Hi folks,
I'm getting the "You do not have sufficient access rights" error accessing the Identity System Console. The same admin account can access User/Group/Org Manager screen, however, for some reasons user and group searches return no results. This is the second OIS install against the same ldap dir (ovd to sun 6.3), so I had to specify Id server was not the first one to avoid profile conflict with oblix DBAgents. The admin user had been selected during prev install, and exists under o=Oblix in both cn=Web Masters and cn=Directory Administrators.
I have LDAPMaxNoOfRetries set to the number of dir servers +1 in all globalparams.xml on OIS. I also can modify ldap dir via both ldapmodify and ldap browser binding to OVD as same user. Turning the TRACE on didn't showed any errors except for the following:
DB_RUNTIME WARNING 0x00000504 ldap_config_db.cpp:187 "Exception during DB runtime code" function^LDAPConfigDB::Open() status^17

There's nothing in the ldap logs either. The only warning I get per that user is in the ovd log:
DoSManager: Found unbound connection from active ip addresses
DoSManager: Found unbound connection from active users
The Oracle Support is clueless, please help.
Thank you, RomanHi Vinod,
Thanks for the post. OK, if I got it right, I have two entries under obcontainerId=DBAgents for each of my primary Id servers. For the one I currently use, I have this towards the bottom:
obname=oblixConfig-OIS_mdi-oamlx-3
obname=default-OIS_mdi-oamlx-3
Both entries have obdbusedby set to OIS_mdi-oamlx-3 which is my OIS id. The obsearchbasestr is different: o=Oblix,o=paychex inc for the oblixConfig, and o=paychex inc,c=us for the default one. Is that's the way it should be?
Thanks Roman
P.S: I've noticed I get same error accessing My profile under User Manager.
