Fail to Register while installing Flash

I'm getting "Fail to register" error while installing Flash. Windows7, already signed-off Cloud. Please help.

This combination is not certified. Please upgrade OWB to the latest available version (9.0.3.35) that is certified on the 9.2.0.1 database.

Hi all,
i've been having a no mountable file system error while installing Flash Player. At first i thought it was a problem with the download but i've tried many times and still have the same error when installing the player. I've attached a screenshot of the error message.
Hopefully someone can shed some light. I'm using a 2012 Mac Mini running Mountain Lion on a Fusion Drive.

I have tried the offline download installer and my Google Chrome browser setting is "allow all sites to run Java". I allowed the program to run from my AVG firewall dialog box. Windows firewall did not ask. I am logged in as administrator. What should I do because some programs prompt me for this install in order for some functions to work correctly.

While installing Flash Player in Win7 64bits "error de registro"

I'm trying to install Flash Player in Windows 7 64 bits but it keep sending me the message "error de registro" and it fails to install. I've done what help say, so I deleted the version I had and now I have none Flash... Help!!

I tried to install Flash Player after your procedure, but it keep sending me the same error... another idea?? Not sure if the error is translated as "Register error" as in the action of registering the software or "Record/entry error" as in an error on a Windows record.
Please help, I can't use Explorer any more, because a lot of web pages use flash...

ActiveX failed to register during install

Great. Running Flashplayer for years. Go to update to v14.0 and now I have none! Same error during install, "ActiveX failed to register." Tried everything. Deleted all. Turned off ActiveX filter. Run as Admin. Nothing works. Google the issue and find a dozen different ideas but none work. How can such a critical component like Flashplayer not download properly? Very disconcerting and disappointing.

1. I used the Flash Uninstaller, rebooted, then tried to download again. Same issue. I then tried a routine called fix.cmd
cd /d "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Resource Kits\Tools" subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT /setowner=administrators /grant=administrators=f /grant=system=f
which also didn't help. I downloaded flashplayer_14_ax_debug.exe to desktop and ran as Admin, no help.
So now I ran your link, and it said it was successful. But when I went to the Test page, it said I didn't have Flash. So I rebooted and ran the v14. install again, same issue.
Active X failed to register.
What else can we do?
ps I just updated Shockwave without a problem.

I've recently installed Macromedia Flash MX 2004 with the
idea of using as a tool for designing webpages. Everything was fine
until I was asked to download Flash ActiveX 9.0 (which I already
had) and I couldn't. I tried uninstalling Flash MX 2004 and then
installing the ActiveX, but it was useless. Then I looked for help
at Adobe site and I got the same results: nothing. I'm thinking
that it can be some problem with the registry, because after
installing Flash MX 2004 I was warned about a registry change by
Scott Patrol (security program). However, I've posted a logfile of
my registry on other forums and I was told it was clean.
The problem is definitely not related with downloading the
files, but with the installation process, as I've downloaded the
files, and when trying to instal, the process stops at
"Registering: C:\WINDOWS\Macromed\Flash\Flash9f.ocx".
If someone can help me, I would be grateful.

So I checked Macintosh HD>Library>Quicktime and I have the following components

3. DivX Decoder.component
4. DivX Encoder.component
5. Flip4Mac WMV Advanced.component
6. Flip4Mac WMV Export.component

Apart from components 2-7, which I believe are third-party plug-ins, does it look like I am missing any key Quicktime components? Or is this even a Quicktime plug-in issue?

Problems while installing flash player.

when i want to watch a video on certain websites i receive a msg saying that this website functions better with firefox, i downloaded firefox and still the videos wouldn't play with the claim that i need to download flash player- when i already had. i downloaded it over and over again and the problem has not been resolved.

The latest version of Adobe FlashPlayer can be obtained from here:

(You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS.
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

Why get error msg, "failed to register," when downloading Flash Player

Hi H, Following are the procedures for the Uninstall and Install of Flash Player.
You may want to print these instructions out to make it easier for you to follow. Don't connect back to the Internet until
you get to step #10.
1. Download and SAVE to your Desktop the Uninstaller:http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
2. Download and SAVE to your Desktop the Installer for Internet Explorer:
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe
3. Disconnect from the Internet
4. Close all browsers, check system tray for any applications using Flash and disable
5. Disable McAfee per instructions and McAfee Firewall- You don't have to disable the Windows Firewall
6. Click on the Uninstaller and RUN. When it is finished, Reboot
7. Check to make sure McAfee is still disabled, then check your Flash folder and make sure no files are listed. If there are
any files in the Flash folder, RUN the Uninstaller again. Then Reboot, and check the Flash folder. Check McAfee before you
run the Installer and make sure it did not become enabled on the last Reboot(restart).
8. Run the Installer. When finished, Reboot Once.
9. Re-enable McAfee and the Firewall
10. Re-connect back to the Internet.
Go here and test: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about
Check your Flash folder and post back what files are there. Also find in ALL add ons the Shockwave Flash Object..ActiveX Control...Flash10e.ocx (version 10.0.45.2) and make sure it is enabled. Post that info back also.
Hokiejsv, I know this takes time, but since McAfee re-enables itself on the reboot(restart) of your computer, it must be checked. Otherwise it will block the installation of the ActiveX Control which must be installed in order for Flash Player to work.

please someone can tell me why while the installation of flash player update, adobe tells me to shut internet explorer to be able to continue the installation (first time in years)? i don't understand

The WHY - Same as it always has - is that, like changing oil in a vehicle, it can't be done while it's in use. NO plugin for IE can be updated while in use, and none ever could.

IE8 script error while installing Flash Player

[WinXP (2002) SP3]
Installation of Flash Player 11 (tried this 10 or more times) is interrupted by an IE8 script error message "Object doesn't support this property or method" (Line: 207 Char: 1 Code: 0 URL: http://www.adobetag.com/d1/adobe/live/getadobecom.js), followed by the question “Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?” No matter if I answer Yes or No, installation proceeds and seems to finish normally, showing a new window saying “You are now using Flash Player 11”
But any link on any website that needs to use Flash Player refuses to run, asking again and again for a Flash Player download!
I checked my IE settings, they are all as they should be, allowing script running, etc.
What can I do?!

Use Adobe Flash Player uninstaller : http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
Once Flash Player is uninstalled then use the offline installer for Adobe Flash Player.
