Fail to upgrade my laptop to Windows 10 due to :"system thread exception not handled ndis.sys"

Hi,I am trying to upgrade my Toshiba satellite Z30 laptop from windows 8.1 to windows 10.every time i try( and i tired more than 8 times already), it goes all the way to finishing installing the drivers and then after the auto reboot it comes up with a :"system thread exception not handled ndis.sys" error. at the second boot phase.I have an Intel I218V network adapter and an Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160.I tries upgrading them manually to a windows 10 compatible driver before the install but still no success.I also tried a clean booot and disabling both adapters before upgrading.does anyone have an additional idea of how to solve this problem? thanks Amose

My many Win 10 install attempts have failed similarly. In the final phase of install during "Configuring Settings" I get the error message: "System Thread Exception Not handled...."  I'm not sure if it reads, "ndis.sys" at the end. The message doesn't remain long.I have a Satellite L355-S7905 with Windows 7 Home Premium.

    Hi Jon,
Were you using Acrobat IX standard or pro version? Is Acrobat currently installed on your system?

  • Every time i try to install itunes on my laptop for windows  i get the message''key not valid for use in specified state''  any clue? '

every time i try to install itunes on my laptop for windows  i get the message''key not valid for use in specified state''  any clue?

For "Key not valid for use in specified state" errors try moving the folder RSA from C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA to say C:\<User>\RSA (just in case there should be a need to restore it) then try installing again. This folder appears to act as a cache and should be rebuilt automatically as required.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

    Hi,
I've been trying for days to download Windows support software via Bootcamp assistant but it always fails with message 'Can't install windows software because it is not currently available from the software update server.'
Anyone else had problems or success with this?
    Thanks in advance.

I'm getting a similar but distinct error message in snow leopard: Download could not continue. "The windows support software is not available" and have no original snow leopard instal disc with me.
Your issue is completely different. You are running Snow Leopard. There is no download for Windows Support software for Snow Leopard, hence the error you see. Snow Leopard Windows Support software is on the Snow Leopard installation disk.
You need the Snow Leopard installation disk or a replacement for it.

  • Quicktime would fail to write/export to server windows share with "Error -43: file not found" errors

    Summary:
With the combination of Windows 7 and Quicktime 7.x, Quicktime would fail to write/export to server windows share with "Couldn't create output movie storage" and "Error -43: file not found" errors
    Steps to Reproduce:
Trying to render to Quicktime files using network shared folders as a destination:
    Unable to open file. (-1610153459)
The funny thing: it only happens when there are at least two shared folders mapped on the workstation, and the destination folder used for the rendered movie is not the first one.
If we have only two mapped drives, F: and G: for example, and we try to render something to F:, everything works fine and no error is showed. But, when the destination is the G: drive, rendering never works, the error is showed, but a zero-byte file is created in F: (!!). ODD! If we remap F: drive with a different letter, but a letter BEFORE G:, the problem always happens. If we remap drive F: to any letter AFTER G:, making G: the first available network drive, rendering works. Also, simply unmapping F: and leaving G: as the only connected network folder makes render to work.
We do not have a D: drive in our Windows 7 workstations, they are all C: only.
It is a 100% reproducible problem. We tried with three different Active Directory networks and workstations. It has all of the features of a software bug.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Cheers!
    Expected Results:
    Error -43: file not found
    Actual Results:
The workaround seems to be to use the full path to the servers instead of the mapped mount point (ie //server/z/... instead of Z:/...
    Regression:
All versions of quicktime 7 in combination with windows 7 client and more than one smb share point mapped in a letter.
    Notes:
All software that uses quicktime movie exports showed this error.

Not sure what file your are referencing?  Thanks for your suggestion, however, it's not relavant.
It renders fine if you render to either the UNC path or the first mapped drive.
i.e. If you have two mapped drives G: and H:
    they both point to \\fileserver\share1\folder
If you render to H: it will fail, if you render to G: it works!  Same path, same user, same permissions.
The only difference is H comes after G, so it fails... BUG.  If it was to do with anything else, underscores, permissions etc, it would fail on both.

  • View Object is invalid due to SYSTEM.MODE is not recognized inside SQL

    Hi All,
I tried recreating a Oracle form 9i to ADF BC using Jheadstart 10.1.3.3.81, JHS converted the form(converted .xml) generating the Entity and View Objects.
But among the generated View Objects few are invalid due to which the generated .jspx page is partial in result compared to Original form.
I have pasted the SQL generated from one of the View Object which is invalid. I tried fixing this SQL from SQL Navigator but I get Invalid function error for SYSTEM.MODE and Not an Object or REF for :INSHST.FACILITY_ID. Can anyone help me out in fixing this Issue?

    Muniraj,
System.mode is forms specific, the Forms2ADFGenerator should convert this part of the SQL statement and put it between brackets.
For references to block.item, it creates bind variables. Apparently, that did not happen. Can you send the <form_name>_
extracted.xml file that is located in the root Java source direvtory of the model project to [email protected]?
    Thanks,

  • Can I Reformat windows 10 after upgrading my laptop to windows 10?

My Laptop model  is lenovo G40-70 with a preinstalled OS of windows 8.1. My Laptop comes with a factory reset option. How do I do that in Windows 10 or do I need to clean install? And Where can I download the Windows 10 iso? Lastly  How can It determine if my Windows 10 is genuine after clean installing? I havent yet upgraded to Windows 10 because I'm afraid I might not be able to reformat/reset my laptop to factory settings.

    Hello,
I would suggest making a backup of the G40-70, and testing that backup to verify it works.  If there is an option to create factory recovery media for the Windows 8.1 installation the laptop came with, you can try that as well.  Once you have verified you can backup and restore Windows 8.1 on the laptop, go ahead with the Windows 10 upgrade process.
After you have successfully upgraded the existing installation of Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 on the G40-70, you will be able to download the Windows 10 ISO from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and perform a clean install of it.

  • "upgraded" to laptop with Windows 7.  Can't sync iPhone 3GS

I recently had a computer upgrade. iTunes is up and running on the new unit. I cannot sync the iTunes (music and apps) to my iPhone. I run diagnostics and all is good. It tells me I need to quthorize my computer, when I try to, I am told that my computer cannot connect to iTunes. The diagnostics test results say otherwise.
    Any thoughts?
    Cheers.
    Joelapalooza

I did try that but to no avail...
The issues seems to be that since upgrading to Windows 7, I can't authorize or deauthorize the computer which is preventing me from syncing all the music/apps I have purchased from iTunes.
    Any suggestions?
    Cheers.

    Authorization and Deauthorization
Macs:  iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.
Windows: How to Authorize or Deauthorize iTunes | PCWorld.
In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.
More On De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
      1. Open iTunes on a computer
      2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
      3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
      4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
      5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

I think it`s maybe the AMD drivers.. but have no idea how to further address this issue..

    Hello,
    Thanks,
Reinstalled AMD Drivers -issue still persists.
Updated Firmware for the 290 Card.
This particular error went away, however I still receive BSOD with another message which is related to Direct X?
