FAILED: 3X HOST (mymachine.local) error: NewMoviewFromFile failed -2048

I'm getting this error for either/or machine in my cluster when I try to render a Motion project file to a DV NTSC quicktime via a Compressor batch:
FAILED: 3X HOST (mymachine.local) error: NewMovieFromFile failed -2048
Any thoughts as to what that error code really means?
(Cluster controller - G5 2x2.5; PB17 G4 1.25 Services only)

I've seen this error when our Xsan was configured for high data transfers. Turns out there the san was corrupting the segments, and the nodes couldn't read the segments and assemble the files. Only the node that wrote the segment could read it. After talking with Shake support, turned out setting the san to default settings fixed it.

I have seen a lot of talk about this error but none of it really applies to my situation.
Failed: 4x Host[hostname] error: NewMovieFromFile Failed -2048
I am compression a large number on video files most of them are media100 or mpeg4 or mpeg2. Most of the files work just fine but a few of them just won't work. I get the same error each time just on a different Mac.
I have a managed cluster setup with 5 G5s. I have 1 mac control all the others and the files are submitted from one of the other machines in the cluster. If I submit the files to the single machine they work fine but when I submit them to the cluster I get this error. The hostname will change each time but the error is the same.
All of the macs can view the files and play them fine. Someone mention QT Pro. I tried adding that to a few of them but I got the same problem. It seems that there is just something about the files that it doesn't like.
Any ideas.

Experts,
kindly advice for this error when create vm from a templates, while i'm not having this issue when create the vm to another host from the same templates,
firewall is disabled and no antivirus on the host.
The network and the ping is very stable, and the WS-Management service is running on the host,

Recommended Action
Ensure that the Windows Remote Management (WS-Management) service and the VMM agent are installed and running and that a firewall is not blocking HTTPS traffic.
This can also happen due to DNS issues. Try and see if the server (ms-lab-01.eccsolutions.local) is reachable over the network and can be looked up in DNS. You can ping the virtualization server from VMM management server and make sure that the
IP address returned matches the IP address locally obtained from the virtualization server.
If the error still persists, restart the virtualization server, and then try the operation again.

and the drop happen in the customization after deploying the VHDX file as my first image.

Backup your VMM database and then check the
tbl_VMM_Lock table in the
VMM database to see if it has any locks listed, do this after stopping the System Center Virtual Machine Manager Service.
If there are locks listed in the tbl_VMM_Lock
table you can clear them by executing the prc_VMM_ReleaseAllLocks
stored procedure.

Nfs- kioslave gives: Connection to host An RPC error occurre

If I want to connect to my local nfs-server. (which works fine on the command-line:
sudo mount -t nfs 127.0.0.1:/share /mnt/share)
I get the following error-message:
"Connection to host An RPC error occurred. is broken"
FYI:
lan://localhost/192.168.1.99 (my internal IP)
shows me an NFS-entry.
nfs://192.168.1.99/ and
nfs://127.0.0.1/
both give me this error
any ideas?

Could not resolve host (nil); Unknown error

Trying to install arch linux into virtualbox...
I got it to boot and everything, got my internet set up (I think), installed virtualbox guest stuff, and then had to reboot.
I try to do sudo pacman -S xorg-twm xorg-xclock xterm so that I can test X before installing a desktop enveiroment..
It then asks me for my password, the Y/N thing, etc.
And then I get a whole bunch of lines saying "error: failed retrieving file [filename] from [somewhere] : could not resolve host (nil); Unknown error"
And after that it says error: failed to commit transactions (download library error)
I follow this guide (http://wideaperture.net/blog/?p=3851), I am currently right above step 17.
Anyone knows what to do? I'm installing Arch Linux for the first time so I'm a total newbie.

Type journalctl with sudo, then push the end key to go at the last messages.
The guide you followed said :
sudo systemctl enable [email protected]
But with rescent archlinux changes, as you said with the result of 'ip addr', the base name of ethernet device has changed to enp0s3, maybe that's why you don't have the network. First disable the previous command :
sudo systemctl disable [email protected]
Then enable with the right name
sudo systemctl enable [email protected]
Either way, paste here the logs of journalctl (just type if you see some errors) after doing a
sudo systemctl restart dhcpcd
We never know, but have you checked your ethernet cable is plugged in?

Provider Hosted app server error

Hello All,
I had created a provider hosted app with remote web app deployed in the same IIS server where sharepoint installed. I have used selfsigned certificates for trust. It works if i use visual studio IIS express to host remote web app.
But when I use Local IIS for hosting the web app, I am getting the following error. httpContext.Session[SPContextKey] is always null
Any help will be appreciated.

If it is available in LabVIEW it is probably available in CVI, which you could then build into a DLL (if there isn't one available already).

When we are using Zoom In Level as All Levels and tring to drill down for dimention of HFM application we are getting below error.
Error: "Cannot connect to the provider. Make sure it is running in the specified host/port. Error (12031)"
As we found some solution from comunity , we have performed below workaround but still we are getting same error.
·              We have done the changes in mod_wl_ohs.conf file of OHS with (WLIOTimeoutSecs 3600 and WLIOSocketTimeoutSecs 3600)
·              And then restarted OHS and APS service but still we found same error.
Could anyone please suggest ,where can we trace its log from web server and the solution for this issue?

We have already performed the changes for APS in OHS as mentioned in the solution and the path also same as under OHS.
Intially we were getting error for "to increase netRetryCould and NetRetryInterval" as a solution we have added below 3 registry DWORD keys under path
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings
"KeepAliveTimeout"=dword:00180000                   (26 Minutes)
"ReceiveTimeout"=dword:00dbba00                      (240 Minutes)
"ServerInfoTimeout"=dword:00180000                  (26 Minutes)
Above error resolved but then we received Error"12031"
Now we have added above 3 DWORD keys under path HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings
and now we are not getting the error "12031".
But here we are not getting how it(LB issue) resolved with above solution?

FTP_R3_TO_SERVER gives error " FTP SubCommand Local Error"

I have an issue with the transfer of data from SAP internal table to FTP server
I am using the function module FTP_R3_TO_SERVER.
Using this function module I am able to transfer data only some times.
Most of the time it gives the error message "FTP SubCommand Local Error" .
Could someone help me resolve this error.

Check your outbound queue in SMQ2 if the error is there for more details. pricing error is related with the IPC so check if your IPC destinations are working in SM59.

Is your system a Unicode system?
If so the problem can be resolved if you have a unicode version of
SAPFTP program in your desktop according to note 93042.
Please follwo the note 93042 and download the latest sapftp.
Execute sapftp -V on your command prompt. This should show you the ftp
version stating if it is unicode.

FTP Sub Command: Local Error with EasyDMS

We have been using DMS for several years. We have a vault setup and are able the checkin files with FTP via SAPGUI with no problems. Recently we have been looking at EasyDMS. We have it installed and can login ok. When we try to drag a file into the windows explorer the popup appears and we can enter the META data. When the file is checkin via FTP we get FTP Sub Command: Local Error.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We have encountered the exact same siituation with EasyDMS, we currently have had an OSS call to SAP for 2 weeks that ended up with the developers in Germany and bouncing the issue back to technical support and stating that they have no idea!
We are also interested in an answer, sorry I can't help you, but you are not alone.
