Failed Build - Copy of Transcodes

I have a project that keeps giving me errors when trying to build. I have transcoded the files in that project already and I am wondering if I create a new project, can I bring over the transcodes from the failed project? Will it work? Do I only need the transcodes folder or are there other important files to copy over so Encore will recognized the files are transcoded? Thank you.

  • Flash Builder fails to copy over static files in incremental compiles

    During incremental compiles, the Flash Builder fails to copy over certain static files (such as *.js and html files).  I have my own html wrapper and during incremental compiles it fails to copy over this file and also deletes the file from bin-debug/bin-release.  I have to do a clean build instead to ensure these files are copied over.

    Just tried this out on an IIS server with Flash player 10.3.181.14 - it worked.
    Are you using the release version of Flash Builder 4.5 with the release version of Flex SDK (not a prior SDK build)?
    The URL you mentioned gives me a 403 forbidden error.

  • I have tried and failed to copy my iTunes library and playlists from my Windows 8 desktop to my Windows 7 laptop using an external hard drive. Can it be done? Help would be appreciated.

    I have tried and failed to copy my iTunes library and playlists from my Windows 8 desktop to my Windows 7 laptop using an external hard drive. Can it be done? Help would be appreciated. I have followed instructions found online but the library of music doesn't pull in.  Thanks!
    Nate

    Migrate an iTunes library from one computer to another
    These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
    Method 1
    Backup the library with this User Tip.
    Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
    Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
    Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
    Method 2
    Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entireiTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
    Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one, with ratings, play counts, playlists etc. preserved. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
    I'd normally recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library and unlike copying with Windows Explorer the process can be resumed if it is interrupted and it will continue to the next item if there are any read/access errors.
    Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should  merge the existing data from the device.
    If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See Make a split library portable.
    Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then seeRecover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

  • I want to put windows 7 on my iMac. Do I use Windows 7, 64 bit System Builder or do I use a "retail copy" of the Windows 7, 64 bit ? Microsoft says I should use the System Builder copy. A technical support individual from Apple said use the "retail copy"

    A Microsoft technical advisor said that the "retail copy" of Windows 7, 64 bit Home Premium would not work with Boot Camp to put the Windows operating system on the IMac. She said that I would have to use the System Builder copy of Windows 7 to put it on my iMac. An Apple technical advisor told me that I had to use the "retail copy" of Window 7 because that was the one used by Apple when they developed the Boot Camp program.  I have also seen some articles from Apple that suggests that both copies of Windows 7 would work OK. Does anyone have any experience that shows which one or both I should purchase to put on my computer?

    Welcome to ASC!
    I used the 64-bit System Builder Edition when I bootcamped my 2010 iMac a couple of years ago. Worked perfectly--installed a very lean system. Without all the extra cr@pware that comes preinstalled on name-brand Win computers, the SBE OS actually works darned well.
    However, that was under Mac OS 10.6.8 which remains on that computer for compatibilty reasons not related to Windows. Haven't BCed any newer Mac OS, so your mileage may vary.

  • Ipod Syncs 111 songs then shows error saying failed to copy disk creg...?

    as i sed ... my new ipod nano ( 8GB ) gets to 111 songs sync'ed onto my ipod, and they play fine as i cheked but as soon as i trys to sync the 112 song it trys syncing for about 2-3 mins then ends syncing and shows this message " itunes has failed to copy to disk CREG. " this has never happened on my 1st gen nano.
    I tried restoring, that didnt work. so i fort maybe a error with the songs file, so i deleted it from my itunes and restored to sync again. i just got the same proplem on the new 122 song. My ipod still says theres loads of space left to use but just doesnt sync the songs.
    does anyone have any idea what is going on, i read the FAQ on it in support and that REALY didnt help and just frustrated me more, so im woundering if anyone has had this proplem and solved it.
    PLEASE share any help you can give!

    for anyone having this proplem and done EXACTLY the same as me.. the trik is EXACTLY wat the suport says but i didnt realise i mite have 3 or 4 corrupt files. so if u removed 1 file.. try removing every file the sync stops on.. i had to remove 2 in the end. just keep removing you wont have many corrupt files.
    good luck i hope i helped.. i certainly helped my self haha

  • Failed builds in custom build template requiring manual destroy

    I have changed the default UpgradeTemplate.xaml to use a different versioning logic. I have created a custom workflow activity to read the current version from my project's GlobalAssemblyInfo.vb file and increase only the last part of the build number (if
    GlobalAssemblyInfo.vb has a version 5.0.1501.15XX, each build show increase the XX part).
    This is working, but when the build fails, I need to delete the queued build and destroy it via TFSBuild.exe.
    How can I fix this?

    Hi Juliano,
    Thanks for your post.
    Yes, you can execute the
    TFSBuild.exe delete command to delete the failed build manually if you want.
    Do you mean that you want to delete the failed build automatically once the TFS build fails?

    Exactly. As my build template checks the current version number in the GlobalAssemblyInfo file, if a build
    5.0.1501.1501 fails, the next build will try to use the same version number. However, even when I choose to "retry build", TFS says that there is a build with this number already.
    I think it's ok to delete the failed build by calling the command line tool, but if you have a suggestion on how can I prevent this.
    Thanks.

  • Createinstallmedia failes to copy to USB drive

    Trying to make USB drive bootable.
    Createinstallmedia gives an error that it failed to copy.
    Tried two pen drives and same error.
    Mavericks is in application folder.
    I even tried to copy to different location and tried to make install able from there.
    Console logs shows i/o error not sure if it's read error or write error.
    One of the pen drive is new so I don't suspect bad drive.
    Disk utility shoes no error for MacBook hard drive.
    What could be wrong to make USB drive bootable?

    Are the USB drives plugged in directly to the Mac? No USB hubs in between?

  • Px4-300r fail to copy disk full or write protect

    Hello.
    I apologize for my bad English.
    After a RAID rebuild my NAS PX4-300R fails to copy a large number of files. After copying a few, it fails with the error "Disk full or write-protected." After closing the window back and start again, the problem recurs, write a few files and fails again with the same error. Copy jobs scheduled from the menu of the PX4-300r also fail for typing errors on the disk.
    Any idea?

    thanks for your reply, I will try to apply the new firmware version (4.1.102.29716). The computer is not under warranty and do not know if I contact Lenovo support without being in warranty.

  • Project Manager fails to copy clips

    Hi,
    I'm trying to consolidate a project using the project manager in CS4. I've tried both options (create trimmed and copy all to new location), and they both fail to copy the two video clips I use in the timeline.
    The clips are mp4, and I can just place them in the new folder, but I'm curious why it is not being done automatically?
    Thanks

    Joe,
    I have only seen this with SmartSound Audio Clips, when they were located in folders outside of the Project. To date, all other Assets, including stills (so long as they are within the folder hierarchy for the Project), have been archived.
    When within the Project's folder hierarchy, all work well for me, but then I do not use anything MP4, though cannot image how that would affect things.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • RAID problem : build disk OK, failed to copy files to it

    Hello,
    I am running OS 10.4.5 server on a G4/400. I have 2 external firewire drives both connected directly to the Mac.
    Using Disk Utility to set up a Striped RAID volume. Everything went OK. No errors. The new volume is 73GB in size.
    Problem arises when I try to copy files to it. Tried to copy a folder containing 30GB of files to it, but it failed immediately after computing the time to take to copy. Every time.
    Finder would complain that I didn't remove the RAID disk properly. Of course the disk was not ejected, nor physically unplugged.
    Upon checking with Disk Utility, 1 of the hard drive would appear to be offline. Tried mounting it and it would fail. It can't be repaired too due to busy resource.
    Rebuild the volume, copy again, and boom, same error again.
    Very strange stuff.
    Anyone come across this problem? Any solutions?
    Thanks!!!

  • Copying a table with the right-click menu in schema browser fails to copy comments when string has single quote(s) (ascii chr(39))

    Hi,
    I'm running 32-bit version of SQL Developer v. 3.2.20.09 build 09.87, and I used the built in context menu (right-clicking from the schema browser) today to copy a table.  However, none of the comments copied.  When I dug into the PL/SQL that the menu-item is using, I realized that it fails because it doesn't handle single quotes within the comment string.
    For example, I have a table named WE_ENROLL_SNAPSHOT that I wanted to copy as WE_ENROLL_SNAPSHOT_V1 (within same schema name)
    1. I right-clicked on the object in the schema browser and selected Table > Copy...
    2. In the pop-up Copy window, I entered the new table name "WE_ENROLL_SNAPSHOT_V1" and ticked the box for "Include Data" option.  -- The PL/SQL that the menu-command is using is in the "SQL" tab of this window.  This is what I extracted later for testing the issue after the comments did not copy.
    Result: Table and data copied as-expected, but no column or table comments existed.
    I examined the PL/SQL block that the pop-up window issued, and saw this:
    declare
      l_sql varchar2(32767);
      c_tab_comment varchar2(32767);
      procedure run(p_sql varchar2) as
      begin
         execute immediate p_sql;
      end;
    begin
    run('create table "BI_ETL".WE_ENROLL_SNAPSHOT_V1 as select * from "BI_ETL"."WE_ENROLL_SNAPSHOT" where '||11||' = 11');
    select comments into c_tab_comment from sys.all_TAB_comments where owner = 'BI_ETL' and table_name = 'WE_ENROLL_SNAPSHOT' and comments is not null;
    run('comment on table BI_ETL.WE_ENROLL_SNAPSHOT_V1 is '||''''||c_tab_comment||'''');
    for tc in (select column_name from sys.all_tab_cols where owner = 'BI_ETL' and table_name = 'WE_ENROLL_SNAPSHOT')
        loop
       for c in (select comments from sys.all_col_comments where owner = 'BI_ETL' and table_name = 'WE_ENROLL_SNAPSHOT' and column_name=tc.column_name)
       loop
       run ('comment on column BI_ETL.WE_ENROLL_SNAPSHOT_V1.'||tc.column_name||' is '||''''||c.comments||'''');
    end loop;
    end loop;
    EXCEPTION
      WHEN OTHERS THEN NULL;
    end;
    The string of the table comment on WE_ENROLL_SNAPSHOT is this:
    WBIG table of frozen, point-in-time snapshots of Enrolled Students by Category/term/pidm. "Category" is historically, and commonly, our CENSUS snapshot; but, can also describe other frequencies, or categorizations, such as: End-of-Term (EOT), etc. Note: Prior to this table existing, Census-snapshots were stored in SATURN.SNAPREG_ALL. All FALL and SPRING term records prior-to-and-including Spring 2013 ('201230') have been migrated into this table -- EXCEPT a few select prior to Fall 2004 (200410) records where there are duplicates on term/pidm. NO Summer snapshots existed in SNAPREG_ALL, but were queried and stored retroactively (including terms prior to Spring 2013) for the purpose of future on-going year-over-year analysis and comparison.
    Note the single quotes in the comment: ... ('201230')
    So, in the above PL/SQL line 11 grabs this string into "c_tab_comment", but then line 12 fails because of the single quotes.  It doesn't know how to end the string because the single quotes in the string are not "escaped", and this messes up the concatenation on line 12.  (So, then no other column comments are created either because the block throws an error, and goes to line 22 for the exception and exits.)
    When I modify the above PL/SQL as my own anonymous block like this, it is successful:
    declare
      c_tab_comment VARCHAR2(32767);
    begin
    SELECT REPLACE(comments,chr(39),chr(39)||chr(39)) INTO c_tab_comment FROM sys.all_TAB_comments WHERE owner = 'BI_ETL'   AND table_name = 'WE_ENROLL_SNAPSHOT'  AND comments IS NOT NULL;
    EXECUTE IMMEDIATE 'comment on table BI_ETL.WE_ENROLL_SNAPSHOT_V1 is '''||c_tab_comment||'''';
    for tc in (select column_name from sys.all_tab_cols where owner = 'BI_ETL' and table_name = 'WE_ENROLL_SNAPSHOT')
        loop
       for c in (select REPLACE(comments,chr(39),chr(39)||chr(39)) comments from sys.all_col_comments where owner = 'BI_ETL' and table_name = 'WE_ENROLL_SNAPSHOT' and column_name=tc.column_name)
       loop
       EXECUTE IMMEDIATE 'comment on column BI_ETL.WE_ENROLL_SNAPSHOT_V1.'||tc.column_name||' is '||''''||c.comments||'''';
    end loop;
    end loop;
    EXCEPTION
      WHEN OTHERS THEN NULL;
    end;
    On lines 4 and 8 I wrapped the "comments" from sys.all_tab_comments and sys.all_col_comments with a replace command finding every chr(39) and replacing with chr(39)||chr(39). (On line 8 I also had to alias the wrapped column as "comments" so line 10 would succeed.)
    Is this an issue with SQL Developer? Is there any chance that the menu-items can handle single quotes in comment strings? ... And, of course this makes me wonder which other context menu commands in the tool might have a similar issue.
    Thoughts?
    thanks//jacob

    I know about quick drop, but it isn't helpful here. I want to be able to right click on a string or array wire, navigate to the string or array palette, and select the corresponding "Empty?" comparator. In this case, since I do actually know where those functions live, and I'm already using my mouse to right click on the wire, typing ctrl-space to open quick drop and then typing in the function name is actually more work than navigating to it in the palette. It would just be nice to have it on hand in the location I naturally go to look for it the first time.
    I don't agree with this work flow.  Right hand on mouse, left hand on home keys.  Pressing CTRL + Space is done with the left hands, and then you could assign "ea" to "Empty Array" both of which is accessible with the left hand.  Darren posted a bunch of great shortcuts for the right handed developer.

    This is much faster than waiting for any right click menu navigation, even if it is found in the suggested subpalette.

    Complete what Kurt has told you first. Then - if you use CCC - check the details in
    B4 U post...
    noting especially the two links to details for preparation of a target drive and the "Proof of pudding" test.
    Then make use of this section of CCC Help.
    BTW, having both source and target with the same name is an invitation to a mistake. Rename one or both of them. Use meaningful names to make life easier (and safer) for yourself. Select a volume's icon in the Finder, hit <return>, type the new name, hit <return> again. The OS will notice the new name(s) immediately. Use only simple alphanumeric characters, preferably with no spaces. Even something boring like "myCloneVolume" would be better than what you currently have.
