I was enjoying Skype but from last 4 days every call ends icons shows faild i am using android Mobil lg d415

Well,  Apple is the manufacturer, and they would help you to troubleshoot the problem, even if your phone is out of warranty.
Before you make your appointment at the Apple Genius Bar, try the steps Apple would normally recommend.
1. Restart.  Hold down the home & Wake/Sleep buttins both at the same time for about 20-30 seconds (until the Apple logo appears on the screen).  If that doesn't work:
2. Restore from Backup.  Connect your iTunes and make a full backup, then use the "restore" option to download the firmware from Apple and refresh the software on the iPhone, then restore from your backup you just made. If that still doesn't work then:
3. Restore as New.  Connect your iPhone to the computer again, and follow the restore instructions, but when you get to the point, select to set it up as a new device.  If this works, you have a corrupt setting in your backup, and you would need to re-load all your apps and data manually.  If this doesn't work then you likely have a hardware failure and need to replace the phone.  Make your Genius Bar appointment and if it is still under warranty, and it doesn't have accidental damage, they should replace it for you on the spot (if they have the correct replacement in stock).

    I have installed skype in my android from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skype.raider&hl=en , but I have tried many time to call to desktop computer (skype installed) , but only voice call was possible and I have not seen any video call option (using wifi connection). Similarly I tried from computer to android using video call option, but no video invoked in my android.
    Can anybody help me to get the video call from android to computer and vice versa.

    i need this too. but no simple solution. I ended up using calling from ipad to mac(using ecamm) or windows(using supertintin skype recorder). It is possible. you can mirrroring your ipad to a Apple TV server simulator on Mac or Windows. And capturing screen there. Yes, it is too complicated. So the only option is using mac or PC and run a skype recorder there.

    I would like to allow people from my compagny to use lync mobile but I don't want them to call external number from lync mobile. ( for cost reasons, in order to avoid phone call initialisation from the compagny)

    We are using lync 2010.

    Agree with Anthony, If EnableMobility is set to True and EnableOutsideVoice is set to False, the user can run Lync Mobile but will not be able to use Call via Work.

    Please take a look at the introduction page "What is Skype" which explains all the free Skype features. Calling Skype to Skype, both video or just voice, are free. Just keep in mind that you need a internet connection (either WiFi or mobile internet) on your Android device which might come with a price tag.
    Those Skype-to-Skype calls are free regardless of whether you are in the same country or tens of thousands of kilometers apart on the other end of the world

    Your location is irrelevant. Skype Numbers are for receiving calls - not making calls.

    I spent a while trying to seriously diagnose this problem with Skype support a year ago, but didn't get anywhere; I came to the conclusion that there was something wrong with the network at my end. But it's irritating me again now, so I thought I'd check whether anyone else gets this problem. It's incoming calls only, to the skype number only. I can recieve incoming calls from Skype fine, I can make outgoing calls to Skype and to telephone numbers fine, the problem affects both Skype on my Android Mobile (when it's connected to my home WiFi) and Skype on my Windows Desktop - so, not a software configuration thing.
    When making a test call from my mobile to my Skype In number, it drops at the Skype end several seconds before the mobile notices the line is dead; definitely dropping out at the Skype level, and not the telephone network level.

    What you so well describe here, a number transfer (highlighted by me in orange type) is not something Skype has the facility to do:
    None would agree to moderate between myself and the current number holder to do a transfer. If that person simply gives up the number it would be a 90 day wait with no way to guarantee I'd get the number back. They need to do a transfer as this is the only way to make it work. I have no way to contact them aside from calling the number and leaving voicemails.
    In the system's simplicity, there is no flexibility. 
    Just out of curiosity ... and curiosity alone, have you checked the e-mail address on your account to double-check it is the correct registered e-mail address?  I ask because I recently did a Skype Number renewal, and I received e-mail alerts every step of the way.

  • Poor quality when calling van a mobile to a skype ...

    We use a skype number for our clients to reach us.
    When they call from a landline the connection is fine.  When they are on skype themselves, the connection is fine too, but when they call from a mobile phone (using our skype number) de sound qualitiy is poor.
    The person on skype seems 'far away' and bits and pieces of the conversation get lost to the person on the mobile.  To the person on skype everything seems normal and good.
    This has been the case for aa couple of weeks now. And is occuring in the Netherlands.  It appears to be associated with the connection between Skype and the mobile network.
    Any suggestions?

    I think it's possible, but will take a bit of trial and error.

    Here one thing i want to know we are not using any RADIUS server for log or billing. Please tell me how wecan chcek why & where call faield on MGW or PGW or far end operator side with reason.i chcked few document but no comnads i found to check failed reason of attempted calls..

    First of all you have to check C7 link state and CICs state
    1. Enter to  PGW host with username mgcusr
    2 Run mml
    3 Check active platform by command rtrv-ne
    4 Check  C7 link rtrv-c7lnk:all
       All C7 links must be in service: IS
    5 Check  CIC rtrv-tc:carrier10ss7svc1
       All CICs must be in Idle state
    If it is so then we can go to next steps.
    The best way to check reason of failed calls is to use the snooper utility.
    Login as root
    change directory to
    /opt/CiscoMGC/bin
    run utility
    ./snooper int bge0 ss7 itu 1-234-5 detail
    Where 1-234-5  - DPC of your carrier
    After that you will see a flood of ISUP messages.
    In REL message you can find the reason why your call attempt was failed.
    on MGW (if it is Cisco AS5xxx) you can run
    debug isdn q931 command on all trunks or on selected Dchannel: debug isdn q931 interface Dchannel x/x
    You will get isdn messages. In Disconnect message you can find the reason why your call attempt was failed.Good luck!

    Hi Amit,
    On the voice gateway you can use the command "show call history voice" to look for the relevant call and it will also tell you the disconnect cause/reason, and may give an indication whether the call disconnected from VoIP side or TDM side. If you don't find the call in there it means that the call didn't reach the voice gateway in the first place. Depending on the call direction this means the call dropped in the PSTN, or in the PGW, or in the rest of the VoIP network.
    If you suspect the PGW, there is no quick and easy command to check why a particular call dropped. Probably the best approach in that case is to capture the problematic call in a Unix snoop trace, making sure you capture the ISUP as well as the ISDN leg of the call and then analyze the trace using Wireshark.
    More advanced PGW call tracing can be done using the MML "sta-sc-trc" command, but to interprete the resulting call trace you may need the PGW expertise of a TAC engineer.
