Failed download from iStore (Madonna - Ray of Light) - can't remove file
Can anyone tell me how to remove a file that won't delete from my downloads, or my purchases. System gave an error that there was a problem while downloading. If I go to 'buy' the file again will apple charge me or will it realize I have already purchased it?

The first thing to try is to quit iTunes (force-quit it if necessary) and then look under the iTunes Store menu for the "Check for purchases" command and run that. You should be able to restart the download, and with luck it will complete successfully.
If not, follow the instructions on this web page for contacting the iTunes Music Store.

I get this pop up when trying to create a photo book through the iPhoto store.
"Some or all of the photos you selected were downloaded from your published albums. You can only view these photos. To use them in an album or a slideshow or project, you must import them to your photo library."
The photos I have selected have already been imported so how and why do I do it all over again?
What do they mean by published albums? I categorize them into photo albums for organizational purposes after I import them from my camera or phone. So why can't I put them into a book now?
I have over 400 photos selected for a photo book for my child's graduation gift so how can I tell which photos I have to do this to?
Please help. Any insight wouyld be appreciated.
Confused and frustrated...Give this a try: apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.

I was trying to Import photos from my Facebook photo to my MacBookAir and now all i got is lots of back round photo. Please Help me out to delete them.Some or all of the photos you selected were downloaded from your published albums. You can only view these photos. To use them in an album or a slideshow or project, you must import them to your photo library.
What that's telling you is that some of the photos you want to use are not in your Library but online in a gallery you have linked to. You need to download them first.

When you move a folder to iCloud Drive, it will upload the contents of this folder to iCloud Drive, but it may take a long tome, even for small items. You may see progress bars, while the contents is uploading. And the folder may look empty, until it will be updated from iCloud. For example - shortly after adding the folder "neueBilder" to iCloud Drive. -

Email : [email protected]1) A .ipa file is an app for IOS (iPhone, iPad..) and will NOT run on Mac OS X. Apps for your Mac can be found for example on the Mac App Store (you can find a link to it in the Apple menu on your menu bar).

Only half a song downloaded from istore - rest of album is ok.
The first song of the album just cuts off abruptly but shows that the full song downloaded. Any ideas?

After my brother transferred all my files from my old computer to an external hard drive, he then put them onto my new computer. It appears that 100 songs which I downloaded from Frostwire years ago have the exclamation mark next to them. I cannot find the files on my new computer, and cannot remember where they were saved to on my old computer as it was over 3 years ago. I have also tried to consolidate the files as I've found people suggested, but that is not working. I have also read that you should tell itunes that you are moving the music, but my old laptop cannot be read when it is on. Is there any other way tofix this issue? I don't want to have to buy over 100 songs which I already have.

I am getting a screen when I am trying to quit saying the "MAC OS X startup disk has no more space available for application memory" by closing the windows and removing files from the startup disk will help.
How do I do this?That error message is misleading. Your problem is excessive swapping of data between physical memory and virtual memory.
That can happen for two reasons:
You have a long-running process with a memory leak (i.e., a bug), or
You don't have enough memory installed for your usage pattern.
Tracking down a memory leak can be difficult, and it may come down to a process of elimination.
In the Activity Monitor application, select All Processes from the menu in the toolbar, if not already selected. Click the heading of the Real Mem column in the process table twice to sort the table with the highest value at the top. If you don't see that column, select
View ▹ Columns ▹ Real Memory
from the menu bar.
If one process (excluding "kernel_task") is using much more memory than all the others, that could be an indication of a leak. A better indication would be a process that continually grabs more and more real memory over time without ever releasing it. Here is an example of how it's done.
The process named "Safari Web Content" renders web pages for Safari and other applications. It uses a lot of memory and may leak if certain Safari extensions or third-party web plugins are installed. Consider it a prime suspect.
If you don't have an obvious memory leak, your options are to install more memory (if possible) or to run fewer programs simultaneously.
The next suggestion is only for users familiar with the shell. For a more precise, but potentially misleading, test, run the following command:
sudo leaks -nocontext -nostacks process | grep total
where process is the name of a process you suspect of leaking memory. Almost every process will leak some memory; the question is how much, and especially how much the leak increases with time. I can’t be more specific. See the leaks(1) man page and the Apple developer documentation for details. -
New Mac user......own a new iMac and iPad and still use a Toshiba Laptop. Can transfer files from Toshiba to iMac but can't transfer files other direction?
Are you doing these transfers over a Network connection, the systems are networked together over your Home LAN? Or are you doing it with an external drive?
If an external drive Mac OS X can READ Windows NTFS formatted drives but can NOT WRITE to them. So you can co[py files to the drive on your Win PC and READ them on the Mac but Mac OS X can not Write to that drive so you can't copy files from Mac to that drive.
For an external drive to work on both systems, be able to Read and Write from/to that drive, it has to be formatted either FAT32 or exFAT. -
I can't access half of my downladed music. I get a message, "can't locate file." I dauthorized my computer and reloaded itunes, but it did not help. Any suggestions? Thank you.
This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

ITunes locking up when downloading from iStore
iTunes opens correctly but as soon as it attempts to resume pending podcast dowloads I have in the iStore, iTunes locks up. I've re-installed several times.

After upgrading to Apeture I lost half my photos from iPhoto. And find it difficut to transfer images
from digital camers. Do you have a solution? Can I download direct to hard drive and skip Aperture?Since iPhoto and Aperture use the same library format now, do you see your missing photos when you open the same library in iPhoto again? Did you upgrade both Aperture and iPhoto? Have you checked to see if you've entered any text into the various search fields in Aperture? Have you checked for any hidden search filters?
As for transferring digital photos, when you say it's difficult, do you mean that the process is complicated, or that there seem to be actual problems transferring the images?
