'Failed to accept sharing invitation'
I couldn't find a solution to this problem, so I'm posting here.
I'm looking into using Adobe Story to be able work with other people, but so far I've had no luck in sharing anything with anyone. I have Adobe Story Plus, and I've tried to share a project with both free users and paying users. They both get the invitations, but no one is able to accept the invitation and all they get is the error message. I have tried and failed with two free users and one paying user. I created a new project for this purpose. I have tried every role (co-author, reviewer, reader, writer).
It says on this page that free users are able to work with projects shared with them (http://helpx.adobe.com/uk/story/help/project-sharing.html).

I am also having this same issue and I have shared the project to sunny at adobe.com. I am a paid subscriber also sharing with a paid subscriber. I am getting an email response as the shared person has rejected the invitation. When someone else shares the project with me; there is no notifications.

Error message when family member accepts sharing invitation
I am trying to add a family member and he keeps getting this error message when clicking on the 'Accept' button:
'Unable to reply to family sharing invitation. You are already part of this family. Go back to iCloud settings and tap on Family to review your family settings.'
I don't understand, as he is not a family member yet. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? As a side note, he is using an old iTunes email address that was used years ago and associated with a different person; however, I logged into the account and changed the old name associated with the account to the current family member's name. The reason we are using this email is that there are several purchases that were made with this account a while back, so we wanted to incorporate those purchases in the family sharing plan.Some songs will not download if you have restricted your device from downloading explicit content. This seems to be true even for songs that are not marked "explicit." To remove the restriction, if only temporarily: Settings > General > Restrictions > Music, Podcasts & iTunes U > Explicit (slide dot to left).

Every time I accept an invitation, it tries to add it to a shared calendar
My partner and I both have icloud accounts. We both use Mac Mail and iCal and have the latest updates and OS.
We have shared our iCloud calendars with each other. If I receive a calendar invitation to anyone except her, for some reason iCal tries to put it on her calendar which I only have read access to. Then I get the following error:
Then this error keeps happening every time I open iÇal. If I accept the invite on my phone or iPad... it works fine. But if I accept it on my laptop or iMac using iCal... I get this error. She doesn't have the same problem... she accepts invites and they go directly into her personal calendar like it's suppose to.
Since we both have iCloud... it shouldn't be a compatibility issue. I've read several threads on this particular error, but none with this particular scenario. I'm getting really frustrated, especially since it happens on two different computers but not on my devices. I should also mention this is a new issue since things moved to "iCloud".
Any help or points to solution URLs would be much appreciated.

JackFirst, for Stop Motion Animation, there are better tools. These include iStopMotion and QuickTIme Pro Version 7.
If you want to do it in iMovie, it is possible, but slow.
First, go into iMovie Preferences, and make sure you check "Display Time as hh:mm:ss:frames". This will let you edit to the frame lever rather than to the nearest 10th of a second.
Second, see this Tutorial by Jon Walker on how to edit down to a single frame in a still image sequence.
You can modify his technique to get 2 or three frames. -
Windows 8.1 64 bit laptop will not let me accept an invite to a shared photo stream
I have downloaded and installed the uCloud Control Panel and made sure that Photos is ticked. I try to accept an invitation to view a shared photo stream but I get a message saying that it cannot be found. I know that this stream is still shared. Is it a 64 bit problem

My Outlook/iCloud calendar invites to others appear to work on my end and sync with my PC and mobile, but when other people "accept" the invite, it will not populate/add in to their calendar. How can I fix this without turning off iCloud?
I am at a new office that uses Outlook (not Outlook Exchange) which does not sync with my mobile... I just got iCloud set up on my PC to sync my contacts, calendar, reminders, etc... The sync worked (not without flaws, but the other issues seem solvable... I think), so that i can now see all my appointments on both my phone and on my PC. The problem I am having is that iCloud moved all of my calendar items from Outlook into iCloud calendar and now when I send out meeting/calendar invites the recipients may accept them, but the meeting does not get added to their calendar. This is a huge problem and may mean that i need to turn off iCloud.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks!I am replying to my own post here as I seem to have fixed the problem.
I do have some calendars that are shared. Some of those are shared with users who have time zone support turned on. So i activated time zone support on my iphone, then deleted my icloud subscription. I then signed in to icloud again and voila... problem solved.
It is a weird one as the other calendar views were always fine and when you opened an event that appeared in the wrong day (on list view), the correct date of the event was shown in the information...

Communication error, user "did not accept your invitation"
I think need some help. I have read many of the topics, however i have not been able to address my issue. Let me start by saying I am new to Macs (about 3 weeks) and not very technical. I have a Imac and also running time capsule as my wireless connection. As instructed i obtained an AIM account and attempted to do video chat, however when I try i get a communication error, user "did not accept your invitation". I have spent about an hour with apple tech services and have been able to successfully connect to the Apple test buddy. In fact my friend was also able to connect to the Apple test buddy. I have not tested a connection with anyone else.

Yes, Time Capsule sits between my modem and my computer. I also have a Voice over Internet phone.
The entire set up is as follows.
Internet modem (make; Ambit) to Voice over Internet Modem to Time Capsule (set as router - share a single IP address using DHCP & NAT)
as for setting up time capsule - i set it to "i don't have a wireless network and wanted to create one"
I have not attempted to reach anyone in table 2 - I will do so and let you know

Can't confirm family sharing invitation
My dad sent me a family sharing invitation, which I received without any problems. Once I click on "view invitation" I get redirected to family sharing settings and get asked to confirm that I'm using the correct iCloud account and to confirm the invitation But then they ask if I want to share my location and I get two options: either accept or "not now". Either way I get the same message; that I'm already "in the family" and when clicking "ok" the only thing I can do is go back to the start.
Basically i can't confirm that I want to be part of the family. And yeah my dad tried several times to remove the invitation and to invite me again.
What at am I supposed to do?Have you found a solution?

I understand that you are not able to accept a invitation to join Family Sharing. Here are the steps on how to accept an invitation.
Join a family group
You can accept or decline an invitation to join a family from you iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.
In iOS 8, go to Settings > iCloud > Invitations.
In OS X Yosemite, choose Apple menu > System Preferences > iCloud > Manage Family.
If the invitation is sent to your email address, you can also respond right from your email.
To accept an invitation, follow the onscreen instructions. Here's what you'll be asked to do when you join:
Confirm your Apple ID and password.
Choose if you want to share your content and which iTunes Store account you want to share from.
Choose if you want to share your location. If you agree, your location can be displayed on family members’ devices in Find My Friends and Messages, and the location of your shared devices will also appear on family members’ devices in Find My iPhone.
If you can't accept the invitation, see if someone else joined a family with your Apple ID or is sharing purchased content from your Apple ID. Remember, you can only join one family at a time, and you can only switch to a different family group once per year.
Start or join a family group using Family Sharing
You can also have the organizer resend the invitation via the steps below.

How can you change which calendar you accept an invite into?
I have two calendars I use regularly. One is a Work calendar which has my work schedule that gets shared with multiple people. The other calendar is a Personal calendar which is only seen by me. Lately (or possibly always), when I receive a calendar invite from another iCloud user, (1.) I am not able to change the calendar which I accept it into and (2.) after I accept it to my Work calendar I am unable to go back to that event and switch it to a different calendar.
The only thing I was able to think up to try and resolve the issue was to set the Default calendar in the Mail, Contacts, Calendars settings to my personal calendar, but that didn't work either.
Any thoughts on what may be causing this or how to fix it?I like how you said "A similar prompt should also appear when accepting an invite or event" because it doesn't appear which is exactly why I posted this question.
I know how to change normal events from one calendar to another but when I accept an event from someone else it gives me no options to change the calendar. -

Can't accept outlook invites in iPhone calendar app
Hi everyone,
Here's my problem: I have been using my iPhone 4 for about a year now, syncing the calendar via MobileMe first and then via iCloud. All this time I haven't been able to accept calendar invites on my phone. The functionality on my phone in steps:
I receive an Outlook invite as email, open the mail, scroll to bottom, open the ICS attachment.
The attachment opens up showing organiser, invitees, time, etc. In the bottom I have a button "Add to calendar"
I press the "Add to calendar" and the event display closes, I'm back in my mail app. Apparently, when I press "add to calendar" an automated reply is sent, saying I've tentatively accepted. I have to wait until I'm at my MacBook to accept or reject the meetings.
Any ideas on how and where I could fix this? Is this a setup issue?

On Lightning, to create your calendar access you need to fill an address like the following one:
http://<hostsname>:<port>/caldav/<organization>t/principals/individuals/<username>
On your browser --> http://hostaname:port/caldav
Then you need to proceed with the authentication, then after the organisation name choose
- principals
- individuals
- you should see the <username> value
- and then you will see the CalDav url you need to enter in Lightning to access your Calendar. From this point you should be able to see all the meeting created on Outlook and accept the future invitation.

If i accept an invitation on my pc (outlook 2007, Exchange 2003) it shows up for a brief time and then disappears but shows up on my ipad2. This was a message sent to all users and all users that do not have an iPad2 have the message on their calendar correctly, all users that have iPads only end up with the calendar entry on their iPads.
If the meeting has already been accepted on a standard Exchange client, the iPad/iPhone should show the meeting as Status: Accepted and not offer the Accept/Decline option (unless opening the meeting itself). This is expected behavior. Accept/decline meetings in one place/client, ideally a real Exchange client like Outlook/OWA vs ActiveSync-enabled device (like iPad/iPhone).

Essbase Product Existence Check Fails against the Shared Services Server
Hello Everyone,
I am a new to Essbase
When I am launching the EAS web console and trying to log in, its giving me an error saying "Could not connect to Administration Server".
I looked in ESSBASE log file its showing an error 1051429 : "Essbase Product Existence Check Fails against the Shared Services Server with Error []"
This error actually started when I copied an Essbase Application from one of my computers to another computer. All I simply did is copied the application folder into "app" folder. I am not sure if migration
is possible just by copying and pasting the application folders. I am not sure if doing this messed up security with shared services. Also under c:\hyperion\essbase folder I see another text file named "SharedServices_Security_Client".

The SQL server itself is not running or TCP/IP is disabled. That can be confirmed by runing netstat and see it is listed there.
Then run telnet chandan 1433 and see it can connect
