Failed to activate coldfusion scheme
Brand new install of CFB 2, I get this error "Failed to activate coldfusion scheme".
The outline panel throws: ""Failed to activate coldfusion scheme"" (below is the stack). I found something about Aptana causing an issue (http://developertips.blogspot.com/2010/06/coldfusion-builder-error-unhandled.html) . I did have aptana installed aswell, so I disabled but still get these errors

I want to like CFBUILDER, but getting ready to switch back to CFEclipse. I get so many errors at startup and throughout. The shortcut "keys" menu item is missing from the preferences window and I have no key board shortcuts. The outline window throws the error "CFMLOutlinePage_0" any time its open. And the editor is painfully slow.
Is there any support for CFBUILDER while your on the trial?

Windows Event Subscription - Fails To Activate Subscription
When I try to create a subscription on a GUI server I receive this error:
"The client could not start a valid listener to receive subscription events based on the specified input settings."
When I use WECUTIL on Server Core, I get the following error:
"The subscription is saved successfully, but it can't be activated at this time. Use retry-subscription command to retry the subscription. If subscription is running, you can also use get-subscriptionruntimestatus command to get extended error status.

Thanks...that was one of the things I first tried. I did a save as another document.
I also resized the image in PS so it would be at 100% of size, figuring that would help and I made the image box's background white instead of none, but nothing so far.

We are creating a Provider ABCS which is generated by AIA Service Constructor with SyncCustomerPartyList Operation in CustomerPartyEBM, We are able to compile the process susccesfully but when we create a Trasformation file with source as CustomerPartyEBM and Target has Siebel ABM, then the xsl file in design view pops up a error message saying - "Failed to open source schema file:null". When tried with other EBM's its working fine its only for CustomerPartyEBM.
Do anyone had idea on this?

I was attempting to use a 'dodgy' brand (SKY-Silver) of DVD-R for the creation of the disk set.
On changing over to TDK disks, the problem did NOT repeat.
Strangely enough, the dodgy ones worked great for creating copies of the set once it was completed.

I get this exception (and long stack trace) when attempting to start my weblogic server. I'm running Weblogic 7 with Portal 7 (sp 1). I'm using Oracle 8.1.7. I upgraded this application from weblogic portal 4.0, and never had this problem there. As part of the migration process, I ran the tool to migrate all of the database tables, and I re-synched the EBCC project using version 7 of EBCC. I did a search for this problem and found a few mentions of it that seemed to be related to Oracle's handling of CLOB data. Apparently, there is a patch, but I can't seem to find this patch. I'm also not sure if this is indeed the problem since I didn't have this issue with the older version of weblogic using the same database. Any suggestions?

this problem.
Can you run an sqlplus session on your database, execute the commands
"delete from data_sync_item" and "commit", then resync to see if it will
get you around the problem. The data_sync_item table will be fully
populated after you sync. This should get you running.
Between 4.0 and 7.0 the DefaultRequestPropertySet.req file was reduced
in size -- the CLOB would be smaller in the data_sync_item table.
I would recommend using the Version Checker against your installation --
find it on the dev2dev.bea.com site to see if the upgrade installer work
ed properly. Also consider running the full installer to avoid possible
problems that might occur with upgrade installers.
As a result of that patch you referenced in 4.0 the CLOB handling logic
was changed in 7.0 -- this is why it is strange you are seeing cleaving
errors. In 7.0 SP2 to be release next week the data sync and
persistence code was changed also.
Are you using the OCI or Thin driver?

I recreated a new version of the .usr in the EBCC, and still got the same error.
I also tried deleting everything from the data-sync-item table and re-synching.

Has the software on your phone been modified before you tried to update the firmware? If yes, jailbreaking the phone could be the reason for your problem.
If the device has not been jailbroken, try these steps:
Restart the iPhone.
Try another means of reaching the activation server and attempt to activate.
Try connecting to a known-good Wi-Fi network if you're unable to activate using a cellular data connection.

ODS object failing to activate
Hello All,
I will greatly appreciate your help with the following issue:
I have an ODS object that is failing to activate complaining that "Value 'HAGas Cartridge Actu.in safety enclosure ' (hex. '00480041004700610073002000430061007200740072006900') of characteristic 0PROD_DESCR contains invalid characters"
If I am correct - invalid characters were uploaded to an InfoObject (0PROD_DESCR) and now the ODS object does not want to activate (0PROD_DESCR is an InfoObject inside the ODS object). To fix this - does a reload of this characterstic 0PROD_DESCR need to be done without the invalid characters?

If you notice the data that is coming for the field 0PROD_DESCR.
One thing is it has data with lower case letters,
secondly from the error message you can notice that '." is also present.
If you analyse all the data in the request either in the PSA or in the active data table of the ODS you will find out what other special characters are used.
If you want to load the data as it is you can add the special chars in RSKC, the text ALL_CAPITAL is not sufficient.
If you do not want to add the special chars then you should edit the data in the PSA and reload the data in to the ODS and then activate the same

WSUS Role on Server 2012 R2 fails - SQL Server Error "Schema Verification Failed SUSDB"
Server is Windows Server 2012R2
After installing the WSUS role with WID, when running the post installation task it installs the SUSDB in single user mode, runs all its scripts but then when it tries to set it it MULTI mode it fails with the error:
Schema Verification Failed SUSDB
If I log onto SQL Management Studio and try to set the database SUSDB to MULTI user mode manually it fails with the same error.
Detaching, deleting the susdb.mdf and .ldf files and re-running the post-installation task fails on the same error.
Uninstalling the WSUS and WID roles, deleting the C:\Windows\WID folder and reinstalling everything once again gives the same error during post installation.
Seems like a nasty bug.
Does anyone have any ideas? Perhaps there is a way to debug "Schema Verification Failed" errors in SQL Server?Hi,
If the WID can't access "C:\Windows\WID\Binn\DBVerify\SUSDBVerify.dll", this issue may occur.
Please change the account of WID to local system account in services.msc, then restart the WID service.
Then try to start the post-install again.
If issue persists, please check the detailed information of WID log.

Screen Saver on 10.8.3 Fails to Activate
I have started this discussion because my system screen saver is failing to activate again. This problem started when the 10.8.2 update came out. Before then the screen saver worked perfectly. After 10.8.2 it almost never worked. Finally (I thought) after updating to 10.8.3 the screen saver began working again. I downloaded 10.8.3 on March 14 and it worked perfectly until March 23, when I discovered that it failed to activate, leaving the screen unprotected for over 8 hours. Since then, it has been working, but I fear that this problem has not been fixed.
Is anyone else still having this problem?Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

What happens if you delete the .plist?
You need to look in your user Library/Preferences for the .plist. Hold down the option key while using the Finder "Go To Folder" command. Enter ~/Library. Delete the .plist(s) for the application.
If you prefer to make your user library permanently visible, use the Terminal command found below.

i downloaded iOS 5.1.1 and updated my iphone accordingly. however i failed to activate the iPhone using itunes or through a wi fi connection. am getting the message "your iphone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Maintenance Wizard setup fails during creating EOF schema.

I've installed Oracle10g with 10giAS on Enterprise Linux 4.6.
During the setup of maintenace wizard, it fails during the EOF schema creation.
Error is :

when i try to login to sqlplus as sys or system it fine.
FYI: Before creating the EOF, it deletes the old EOF schema successfully.

Have you set the TWO_TASK variable ?
what i've figured out from the setup.sh is, it tries to connect to the DB using TWO_TASK as the alias. so i made sure that the TWO_TASK variable and the TNS alias name are same. In my case "mwdatabase". That worked for me.
