Failed to create the CTI Route Point and corresponding Line on Cisco Unified CM.

Dear All
Kindly I got that message "Failed to create the CTI Route Point and corresponding Line on Cisco Unified CM." When I am trying to create Trigger on the UCCX for an Application,
Bye the way I create Call Control Group and it gives me OK, and I create it from Subsystem>Cisco Unified CM Telephony>Call Control Group
and Type CTI Ports: 4 | Inbound | Starting DN : 9000 "Nothing in my route pattern report have created CTI numbers"
So Appreciate your help to avoid that errors raised when I am trying to create new prompts

  • UCCE 7.5.1 - CTI Route Point and CTI Ports not registering in UCM 7.1

We are in a middle of a new installation of UCCE 7.5.1. The customer will use it only for Outbound calls. The design is to have on PROGGER and one AW, with a cluster of two CallManagers. All the setup has finished regarding the UCCE. Also, the CallManagers have been configured, regarding the CTI Route Point and the CTI Ports. All of these are associated with the PG USER which is CTI Enabled. Configuration on UCCE has been done, including the DIALER, except for the agents and the campaigns.
The problem is that the CTI Route Point and the CTI Ports on CallManager are not registering. Is this normal, since the agents and the campaigns have not been configured yet or there is an error somewhere?

    Looks fine.
Is the Dialer running? Maybe those 30VIP phones the Dialer uses as ports to dial from won't be registered until the Dialer starts.
But they should also be registered if you start dialogictest over the full set.
What's the "route point". Who asks for it? Is it a dialed number that runs a script?
    Regards,
    Geoff

  • Error 8004230f and 2155348075 "Windows Backup failed to create the shared protection point on the source volumes."

    Hello,
When I try to run a system state backup with this command: wbadmin start systemstatebackup -backuptarget:<drive letter>
    I get the error
"Failed to create the shared protection point on the source volumes.
ERROR - Volume Shadow Copy Service operation error (0x8004230f)
The shadow copy provider had an unexpected error while trying to process the specified operation."
I'm not sure how to fix this. I'm logged into the machine as an Administrator.
    Windows Server Enterprise 2008 SP2 64-bit
    Any suggestions??

After I re-registered the dll, I'm still getting the same error in the command window. The DLL registers successfully and the "MS Software Shadow Copy Provider" starts fine.

  • Windows Server 2012 Windows Backup failed with following error code '0x8078006B' (Windows Backup failed to create the shared protection point on the source volumes.).

The Volume Shadow Copy service initially was running under the context of System, so we thought that ‘System’ doesn’t have permissions to access network shares.
When the Volume Shadow Copy service was running under the context of System, this was the error logged:
“failed with following error code '0x8078014B' (There was a failure in creating a directory on the backup storage location.).”
Which is likely due to not having permissions to write to the network location.
This is a scheduled backup trying to write to a network location, so we changes the service to run under the context of an account that does have permissions to write to the network share.
Then the error changed to this:
“failed with following error code '0x8078006B' (Windows Backup failed to create the shared protection point on the source volumes.).”

We aren’t really seeing anything that gives any hint on what the issue is.
    Any ideas?  Thanks in advance!

We are trying to back up folders/files from 2 local drives (C: & D:), both of which have only 10% space used, and 100 GB free.
We are attempting to back the files up to a Remote Shared File (and there is 100+ GB free space out there).
If we try another network location, we receive the exact same error.
This is Windows Server 2012, not running Hyper-V and is a physical server not a VM.
    Thank you for the link.

  • CTI route point and CTI ports not registering - UCCX 10.5 and CUCM 10.5 - PARTIAL SERVICE

I'm trying to integrate CUCM 10.5 and UCCX 10.5.
For some reason CTI route point and CTI ports are not registering on the CUCM and the status of the UCCX is "PARTIAL SERVICE".
On the UCCX Cisco Unified CCX Engine is in status "PARTIAL SERVICE" and the Unified CM Telephony Subsystem shows status "OUT OF SERVICE".
I tried with completely new installation of UCCX twice and got the same result twice.
But when I tried integrating UCCX 10 with the same CUCM 10.5 from above everything works fine and all the ports are registering right away.
In all the cases I have done the same configuration.
The versions of CUCM is 10.5.2.10000-5.
The version of UCCX is 10.5.1.10000-24.
The version of UCCX 10 with which it works fine is 10.0.1.11001-37.
Does anyone have an idea what might be the problem?

No I haven't. Unfortunately I don't have a 32bit Excel at the moment to try.
Can you please tell me this: I'm installing a new BE6000 system that came with this problematic version of UCCX (10.5.1.10000-24). I have been testing during the weekend with 3 versions of UCCX:
    -10.0.1.11001-37
    -10.6.1.10000-39 and
    -10.5.1.10000-24
I got the best results with version 10.0.
Can I install that version (10.0) in BE6000 instead of the one that came preinstalled (10.5.1)?
This is my first BE6000 installation and I'm not sure if this is OK?
I installed a newer version of CUCM than the one that came preinstalled because I hit bug CSCup60269 but I'm not sure If I can go to a lower version for CCX.

  • CallManager - CTI Route Points and associated DNs

Is there one best way to associate directory numbers with CTI route points?  Is it best to...
    1. Associate only one DN to each CTI RP, creating one CTI RP for each and every DN?
    ...or..
    2. If the DNs server similar functions, can multiple DNs associated with one CTI RP, creating one CTI RP with multiple DNs?
I have seen them configured both ways, and can't figure out which is best, so I'd like to know if there is preferred configuration, and if so, what it is, and why.
    Thank you!

Either option is fine as long as the CTI RP does not need to actually register with CTI app. If this is just a relay point CTI RP then I have done configs with many DNs assigned to the same device.

    Chris

  • Cti port , cti route point, and application user

    Hello,
Can someone explain the reason why we use cti route point, cti port, application user for ucce. What is the function of each one when integrating with a ucce call center?
    Thanks,

I guess you are using CVP as front end VRU, where CVP treats customer with prompts and when customer chooses to talk to agent, CVP delivers call to agent with the help of the ICM.
so you need to understand CVP call flow first, like  how call traverse different application(VG,CVP,ICM,CUCM) in unified CVP environment(specifically comprehensive call flow model).
then you need to do configuration walkthrough in your environment like check the dial-peer on the VG and see how call comes in, what dial-peer it matches, how number gets translated using translation pattern and where it routes (CVP,CUPS,CUSP etc)
go to next device and once again check the configuration, this is how you can determine flow of your call.
below link may help to you:

  • I can't add a DN to a CTI route point on Call manager due to...

    Hello,
I'm trying to add a DN to a CTI route point which routes to Unity directly. This allows me to have a voicemail box be reachable that is not tied to a phone. So I can dial XXXX and leave a message for this person directly. The reason we have this setup is because 2 people share a phone and we have a call handler on the phone extension to route messages to person 1 or person 2 by pushing 1 or 2 if know one picks up the phone. The caller then obviously can leave the private message for person 1 or person 2 depending on who they wanted to talk to. I have the CTI route point up and running, and it works for 2 DNs that are set up on it. I'm adding a 3rd and 4th DN to this route point.
The error message I receive says:
"Add failed. Sum of device's line appearance values for maxNumCalls exceed device limitation". On the Multiple Call/Call Waiting Settings on Device ROUTE_TO_VM section(the name I gave the CTI ROUTE POINT) I keep changing the Max number of calls to 1 and busy trigger to 1 to see if this resolves it but it does not. I had to do this on the other DNs tied to this route point and that fixed the issue. This time it will not let me.
    Any ideas?

Do you mean I should be adding a new separate CTI Route Point for each DN? I didn't think I had to because we have a separate one called FORWARDtoUnity and there 4 DNs tied to this one and underneath association information, it says "Line {5} - Add a new DN"...so it seems I can keep adding more. (Unless there is a limit of DNs per route point). So since this one has 4 DNs, I thought I could have 4 DNs on this new route point I created. I was wondering if I'm missing a step somewhere.

  • What is a CTI route point

    Hi,
Please can someone explain me the what is a CTI route point and its usage.
    Thanks

    Hi
    Example for CTI RP
1-IPCC , when you create application on IPCC.
2-CUE, when integrates Cisco call manager with Cisco unity express.
3-CTI  route point virtual device can receive  multiple, simultaneous calls  for application-controlled redirection. You  can configure one or more  lines on a CTI route point that users can  call to access the  application. Applications can answer calls at a route  point and can  also redirect calls to a CTI port or IP phone. When a CTI  application  requests to redirect a call by using the Redirect API,  Cisco Unified  Communications Manager uses the configuration for the  line/device  calling search space for the redirected party.

  • Failed to create the Crystal Query Engine. Please Help me resolve this issu

i keep getting the this error :
Failed to create the Crystal Query Engine.
on this line of code :
    billing.ExportToDisk(CrystalDecisions.Shared.ExportFormatType.PortableDocFormat, fileName);
i'm trying to use export it to pdf.
the page works fine on my notebook. but when deployed to window server 2003 server i get this error.
Crystal Reports Basic Runtime for Visual Studio 2008 is already installed there.
I have provided NETWORK_SERVICE and ASPNET access to the root drive C:, which is the only drive on the server. but i'm getting this error.

I'd like you to download the Process Monitor utility from here:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-ca/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx
Filter for the name of your process as this utility makes large logs. Once you have a log, search for any error messages (Access denied, etc.).
The only note I found on the same error is [here|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes_boj/sdn_oss_boj_erq/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/scn_bosap/notes.do] which points to the crqe.dll being at fault.
See if the Depends utility tells you of any missing dependencies. Depends is here:
    http://www.dependencywalker.com/
(Simply open the dll in the utility)

  • Export CTI Route Point Dependencies

    Hello,
    CUCM version 8.6.2
Is it possible to export CTI Route Point’s Dependency Records to a bat file or is there a tool available to download this information like the ones used in CUC?  We’ve associated employees to over 230+ route points.  I’m looking for the capability to export the employee’s associated to each CTI Route Point to a file rather than having to search each route point individually.
So far, I’ve attempt to use Bulk Administration > Import/Export > Export > Selected CTI Route Point but the file generated didn’t display the user’s associated to the CTI Route Points.
At the least, I’d like to be able to export the dependencies.  If possible, I like the capability to update the file and re-import it.
Thank you for your help in advance,
    Juffure

    Hi there,
    That CTIERR_REDIRECT_CALL_UNKNOWN_DESTINATION message indicates that
    CallManager believes that either
    1) the number you're redirecting to is not in the dial plan or
    2) the CTI Port the call is on does not have a proper Calling Search Space to allow it to "see" that number.
I highly suspect the latter. Ensure that all of your CTI Ports have the proper CSS.
If you still have issues after checking that, please open a TAC case for
    further analysis.

    Riccardo

  • Has anyone seen analog device calls via VG224 lock CTI route points?

Three times in the last 24hrs, I had a cordless analog phone connected to a VG224 place calls that caused route point issues.  Two of the calls were to our service desk (IPCCx - 5.0(2)) and one of them was to our Operators (attendant console).  The calls that were placed to the service desk caused ICD agents to get stuck in 'reserved' state and calls to get stuck in queue.  The call to our Operator froze the operator CTI route point to the point where I had to create a new one. I reset the VG224 this morning, because another cordless phone was getting a fast busy when you'd call it.  Now everything seems to be working fine.
We had this happen to our IPCCx service desk some time ago with a different cordless phone connected to a different VG224.

On scrolling through the logs I see a high number of the CTI timeouts when attempting to take the call off hold (while in the queue)
I noticed that the MoH Media Server had Multi-casting enabled. I have disabled. Does anyone know if this could potentially be related as I believe multi-casting is not supported with UCCX.
    Thanks,
    Alex

  • How can I import CTI route points with line setting "Advertise Globally via ILS" enabled?

I am using CUCM 10.5.1.10000-7 and am using ILS to propogate dial plans between two clusters.  We use quite a few CTI route points but so I generally import them into the cluster with all the appropriate settings and line association settings. I need to be able to enable and set the various ILS settings line Advertise Globally via ILS.  This can be done on phones and their line associations but not on CTI route points as far as I can figure.  The same goes true with the Bulk Administration, you can updates lines of the phones for these setting but not CTI route points.  Any trick or even obvious thing I  am missing?  Setting these manually is extremely time consuming.

  • Bulk insertion of CTI Route points in CUCM

    Hi team,
Is there any way we can insert bulk number of CTI ROUTE POINT's in Cisco Call Manager. I have seen the option for bulk insertion of phones. But i didn't get any option for creating bulk number of CTI Route Points.
Can someone please help me on this issue.
