Failed to get LOVs Error code 0x8004380D

Hi All,
I am trying to create dynamic prompts in Business view manager. How ever when i create a report i see the .lov in "existing" tab of the parameer window but when i add it and bind it and then refresh the report I get the below error.
Prompting Failed with the following Error Message: u2019List of Values Failure: fail to get values. Cause of Error: Error in File UNKOWN.RPT: Failed to create the Crystal Database Connector
Error source: prompt.dll Error code 0x8004380D
Can someone please let me know whats going wrong here.
How do i fix this error?

Thanks For instructions Stratos,
I checked with the rights of all objects and they were inherited , I then changed them to Granted and I can login as an admin too.
But nothing is working , the error is still the same.
To my surprise when ever i bring the prompt in report it does make the prompt groups everytime it is used (like the numbers in end keep on increasing as i use the prompt ). Also in select expert when we bind the param it shows the list of values and ?param at the top. Only it doesnt do is fetch the data and fails to open connection.
Not sure whats going on wrong here

  • I keep getting an error code 1 failed to install, what can i do?

    I just purchase Photoshop and went to download and I keep getting an error code 1.  What can i do to get it to download.

    Amd260 error code 1 is a generic error code.  Can you please post a screen shot of the error message?  You can find more details on how to post a screen shot at FAQ: How do I capture and post a screen shot or video?.
    I would recommend checking your installation log files for the specific error message.  Please see Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html for information on how to locate and interpret your installation log files.  You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

  • How to resolve Error source: prompt.dll  Error code: 0x8004380D

    We have recently migrated from BOXI R2 to R3. All the Crystal Reports are working except the one which have dynamic filters. Whenever we refresh/view the report we get following error message:
    *Prompting failed with the following error message: 'List of Values failure: fail to get values. Cause of error: Failed to open the connection.
    Error source: prompt.dll  Error code: 0x8004380D
    The BOXI R2 server was 32 bit and the Crystal Report version was 11.0.0.1282. After searching here we upgraded the CR version on our R3 server to 11.5.8.826. The BOXI R3 server is Windows 2003 Enterprise x64 edition.
    This is the only roadblock we are facing for our successful migration.

  • I get an error code when burning a movie to DVD

    I use Premiere Elements 10 in my iMac OS lion vers. 10.7.2
    I have 250 Gb free on my hard disc. The movie I try to burn is between 3-4 Gb
    When starting to burn my movie to a DVD the following is seen in order on the screen:
    Encoding Menu 2 of 2
    Computing Media
    Burning disks 1 of 1
    and then it burns (at the end pretty quickly) to 99% and stay there.
    I get an error code:
    Internal software error: /Users/labuser/premiere/elements/molecules/pre10-bullseye/molecule-17/External/AuthorScri pt/Source/DVDCreator/FormatLib/Ma.....
    When I look on the DVD, it looks like nothing has been burnt to the DVD.
    What can be wrong?

    I still have trouble with burning my movies to DVD.
    Have tried the following:
    Found that I had "-" in many of my file names (clips). I removed them from the file names, but this had no effect.
    I moved my entire project folder to a shorter path folder. This had no effect.
    I have not managed to find blank DVDs on sale here in Gothenburg, but will try to buy them online.
    I have four movies that I want to burn on DVD discs.
    Have succeeded in burning two of them.
    I've tried to find what distinguishes between the two that are OK and the two that I have not succeeded with. They are all at about the same size, about 27-29 minutes long.
    The clips are .m2ts and .mts files.
    In one of the movies that are OK, all the clips are .m2ts files. In the second movie (that is OK), most of the clips are .m2ts files, but also there are .mts files.
    In the other two movies that are not OK, it's a mix of .m2ts and .mts files.
    When I try to burn the two movies which failed, I get the same course as I showed earlier (with an error code).
    I must admit that I was wrong when I previously wrote that I could burn all the movies to my hard drive. The ones I can not burn to DVD, I can not burn to my hard drive.

  • Creative Cloud desktop failed to update.(Error code: 1)

    Hello, I'm running a MacBook Pro Retina with Yosemite 10.10.2.  I tried to update Creative Cloud Desktop manager and then tried to cancel it (it was killing my bandwidth while I was trying to work).  It disappeared from the bar at the top of the OSx screen.
    I couldn't get it back.  I restarted my machine.  When I clicked on Creative Cloud this time, I was prompted to update, but almost immediately got an error.  There are other mentions of Error Code 1 on the forum, but they appear to be first time installations, not updates.  Suggestions welcome!  Thanks

    Update:
    Still no success.  I tried the instructions here: Error "Failed to Install" Creative Cloud Desktop application  which says to uninstall Creative Cloud.  I got an error: "Unable to uninstall Creative Cloud Desktop.  Quit Creative Cloud desktop and try again."  But CC desktop is not running.  I had a look in activity monitor and didn't see anything.

    Okay - I think I resolved this by closing some stalled processes in Activity Monitor, then restarting Creative Cloud desktop, then updating in the normal way.

    I am not getting any error while running it in the project where I first implemented.  If I import a EAR file from that project and deploy it in another project and run it, I am getting error in the new project as follows:

    I suspect it is probably just a WSAD configuration issue.  If you have simply moved the EAR from one project to another, it might be missing some libraries or the some of the libraries may have been corrupted in the move, or it might be a problem with the build path.  Try deleting and readding the JRC libraries to the project.  If you are deploying to the test server within WSAD, try creating a new instance of it and deploying the project on the new instance.

  • When burning cd's I get an error code

    All of the songs I am attempting to burn are ripped from C.D.'s I own.  I have tried to burn different play lists.  when I attempt to burn a cd it starts to write the first song for a while, and then cancels the burn. I get an error code saying "the attempt to burn a disc failed, an unknown error occurrred (4000) burn". I have the same songs in Windows Media Player so I created the same playlist there and had no problems burning a CD.  This makes me think itunes has a problem.  Any ideas?

    In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
    ... and click "Next".
    When you get through to the final screen:
    ... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.

  • I keep getting an error code U44M1P7 when trying to update camera raw

    Can anyone help? I keep getting an error code when trying to update my camera raw, and 3 other updates. I am using a mac.

    M1 = Automatic
    M2 = Standalone mode
    P = Patcher
    6 = Done With Errors
    7 = Installation Failed

  • Why am I getting http error code 413 when I try to upload a photo?

    I am trying to upload a picture from my computer to the www.NWF.org web site. I have done this 19 times before, but suddenly I'm getting "http error code: 413" and my picture won't upload. I've tried closing Firefox, updating all my plug-ins, and rebooting the computer, none of which has helped. When I Google this error, I don't understand what I'm reading.

    Every time I try to complete a backup and reset for my iPhone 4, I keep getting an error code 306.
