    Hello everyone,
    after finally successfully upgrading my WLCs from 6.0.199.4 to 7.6.100.0 there is another problem showing up...
    If I want to change any configuration regarding the APs on the WLCs (which doesn't work) I get the following error-messages from the APs:

  • XmlHttpRequest AJAX not returning message from COMET server

    I have the following COMET client javascript code:
    function getResponse() {
    document.getElementById("_receivedMsgLabel").innerHTML += "getResponse() called.<br/>";
    if (receiveReq.readyState == 4 || receiveReq.readyState == 0) {
    receiveReq.open("GET", "http://L45723:1802?callback=testcallback", true); //must use this URL at work.
    receiveReq.onreadystatechange = handleReceiveMessage;
    alert("handleReceiveMessage assigned to onreadystatechange event.");
    receiveReq.overrideMimeType("text/x-json");
    receiveReq.timeout = 100000;
    var currentDate = new Date();
    var sendMessage = JSON.stringify({
    SendTimestamp: currentDate,
    Message: "Message 1",
    Browser: navigator.appName,
    OriginUrl: document.URL
    var sendMessage = "SendTimestamp=" + currentDate + "&Message=Message1&Browser=" + navigator.userAgent;
    alert("JSON message created. About to send...");
    receiveReq.send(sendMessage);
    alert("Message sent.");
    //function for handling the return message from Comet
    function handleReceiveMessage() {
    document.getElementById("_receivedMsgLabel").innerHTML += "Status=" + receiveReq.status;
    document.getElementById("_receivedMsgLabel").innerHTML += "responseText=" + receiveReq.responseText;
    if (receiveReq.readyState == 4 && receiveReq.status == 200) {
    document.getElementById("_receivedMsgLabel").innerHTML += "Message received!<br/>";
    var status = receiveReq.status;
    var txt = receiveReq.responseText;
    document.getElementById("_receivedMsgLabel").innerHTML += txt + "<br/>";
    mTimer = setTimeout("getResponse();", 0);
    getResponse();
    The GET request is sent and received by the COMET server, which sends the response back when I choose to. The handleReceiveMessage() function is called, but the message the server sent is not in the xmlHttpRequest.responseText property.
    Why?

    I suggest continuing the discussion in your thread on mozillaZine, since this site focuses more on end-user support.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi and welcome to the forums!
    You can block in one of two ways:
    1) You call block select types of text traffic. Go to OPTIONS/SECURITY/FIREWALL.
    You can select the type of message traffic to block. This will however block all incoming messages for that
    category. Example if you block SMS traffic, SMS messages from everybody will be blocked
    2) You can call the carrier and have the number blocked as spam. Depending on the amount of messages,
    you may be able to get the carrier to remove the texts from your bill.
    2a) If you use AT&T as a carrier you can block and control messages from the link below. I do not know
    if other carriers offer this service.

  • Is there a way to control the number of consumed messages from JMS?

    Hi everyone,
    I have a BPEL process that is consumes messages from a foreign queue, performs a transformation, and passes it to Oracle Apps. I'm curious if there is a way to control the number of messages consumed at a time for processing.
    For example, if we place 50 transactions on this queue, I would like to only consume 10. And then as each one is processed and passed to Oracle Apps, I would like to pull another transaction off the queue. So basically I would only be processing 10 at the most.
    The issue I am having is we put 50 on the queue and the 50 are take off right away. But then half are making it into Oracle Apps and the remainder is failing with a JCA Connection Factory max connection error.
    Instead of changing the settings to get more through, I am wondering if it's possible to limit the number being processes at any one time.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Have a look at the adapter.jms.receive.threads Property for JMS Adapter...

    I've been looking through the Internet but i haven't found anything. this same process has been working, so I don't understand anything. Please, can anyone help me? thank you very much.

    It sounds like the BPEL process is failing. Is there an error instance n the BPEL console? Can you test the BPEL process standalone from the BPEL console?

  • Not getting a handle to Seeded VO from custom region controller

    Hi Freinds,
    I am embedding a custom region to a seeded page by personalization.
    I have an AM and VO for custom region.
    When i am trying to call a seeded VO from my custom region controller i am not able to get a handle to it properly.
    I tried to get rootAm and then i called seeded VO. Some times i will get control but not able to create a rowsetiterator for that VO.
    OAApplicationModule rootAm=pageContext.getRootApplicationModule();
    oracle.jbo.ViewObject spupdateVo=rootAm.findViewObject("SpecialInformationUpdateVO1");
    RowSetIterator tblvorow= tblVo.findRowSetIterator("sptblVoRow");
    it is erroring at line 3.
    please help me to understand how to get a handle to seeded VO from custom region controller.
    My requirement is to loop through that seeded VO records.
    Thanks in advance..
    Jyothi

    Hi,
    I think you need to extend the controller at the pageLayout Region which would have access to all the regions and also their corresponding AMs.

  • I am unable to print PDF's using either Adobe Reader or Safari. In Adobe Reader, I get an error message from my Cannon printer that says, "/usr.libexec/cups/filter/pstocupsraster failed". In Safari, I can only print the first page of a PDF.

    To try to resolve this problem, I have done the following actions.
    1 - I have run Disk Warrior.
    2 - I have repaired permissions.
    3 - I have deleted all plist that are either Cannon or Adobe.
    4 - I have downloaded and installed the lastest versions of Adobe Reader and the Cannon printer drivers.
    I am still unable to print PDF's.
    In Safari, I can print only the first page. In a multipage PDF, Safari only seems to recognize the first page.
    In Adobe Reader, I get an error message from my printer: "/usr/libexec/cups/filter/pstocupsraster failed".
    Any help would be greatly appreicated!

    Quit Safari.
    Open the Library folder in your home folder as follows:
    ☞ If running OS X 10.7 or later, hold down the option key and select Go ▹ Library from the Finder menu bar.
    ☞ If running an older version of OS X, select Go ▹ Go to Folder… from the Finder menu bar and copy the line below into the text box that opens:
    ~/Library
    Delete the following items from the Library folder:
    Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
    Preferences/com.apple.quicktime.plugin.preferences.plist
    Preferences/QuickTime Preferences
    Relaunch Safari and test.
    Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ If you’re running OS X 10.7 or later, open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the page that opens.
    Select "/var/log/cups/error_log" from the file list. Post the messages from the time of the last printing attempt.
    Post the log text, please, not a screenshot. If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.

    My Acrobat 8 Pro is failing to print to a pdf from multiple software.  I get an error message that a repair fixes but only for a little while.  Pretty soon the trial version of 9 that I installed pops up telling me it has expired but it would take me to a way to buy a valid serial number and then 8 stops working again.  I’d be happy if the 8 I paid for worked right or I could get 9 for a small cost but I cannot afford $450 or $20/month.  I need a permanent solution that I should be already paid for with 8 pro.

    After multiple repair procedures with reboot in AA8 I was eventually able to restore the printing to pdf function from various software.  However I have again lost my Acrobat tab in Outlook 2007.  I need that back, but today an even bigger problem arose.  AA8 has stopped printing to fax.  It faxes a blank page.  The only fax printing option is “Microsoft Shared Fax Driver”.  My fax software is “Windows Fax and Scan” and it was working fine just a couple weeks ago.  My OS is Windows 7 Professional.
    I have tried doing the updates you referred to but I get error messages like these:
    “No qualifying products found to apply this update, or update has been already applied”
    or
    “The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing , or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program.  Verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch.”

    Hi,
    did you configure Kerberos delegation?
    NTLM fails when you try to open external list from client computer, because SharePoint cannot pass user's identity - "Double Hop" issue.
    Take a look at confguring Kerberos for SharePoint 2010 white paper

  • Fault handler triggered for "100 Continue" messages from web service

    I'm using the Flex/Flash "WebService" class to connect to a .NET4 web service.
    Things always work fine unless the service sends a "100 Continue" message,
    (which it does seemingly at random, which is allowed by HTTP1.1).
    The problem is that Flex/Flash does not appear to handle this message.
    It triggers the fault handler with the following message:
    "SOAP Response cannot be decoded".
    The message body pulled from the Flash Builder's "Network Monitor" window (raw view) is:
    HTTP/1.1 100 Continue
    Server: ASP.NET Development Server/10.0.0.0
    Date: Tue, 21 Aug 2012 14:42:25 GMT
    Content-Length: 0
    If I understand correctly, any client using HTTP 1.1 should be able to handle "100 Continue" messages even if they didn't ask for them.
    Does anyone know what's going on here?
    Here are the software versions of everything involved:
    Flash plugin: 11.3.300.257 (ActiveX)
    Flash Builder: 4.6
    Flex Compiler SDK: 4.6.0
    OS: WinXP Pro, 32-bit, SP3
    Browser: IE 8.0.6001
    Web Service: .NET framework 4
    Any help/advice is greatly appreciated!!

    Update: The problem also occurs with Firefox 12 using the debug version of FlashPlayer 11.3.300.257, so I don't think it's a browser issue... Looks like Flash itself.

  • What does this Adobe Muse error message mean: MuseJSAssert: Error calling slector function:SecurityError: Failed to read the 'contentDocument' property from 'HTMLIFrameElement': Blocked a frame with orign "null" from accessing a cross-origin frame.

    So what is up with this error message in Muse?
    MuseJSAssert: Error calling slector function:SecurityError: Failed to read the ‘contentDocument’ property from ‘HTMLIFrameElement’: Blocked a frame with orign “null” from accessing a cross-origin frame.

    This is a genuine security error generated by the browser when viewing a page with iFrame content locally.

  • WCS Refresh Config from Controller Fails

    Have been able to refresh config from controller successfully in the past, but now it only works on 1 of 4 controllers. Receive error "Failed (see logs)". Any idea why this would fail, and/or where I can find these logs? All controllers are reachable.

    For what it's worth, it is generally recommended that the WCS be at a MORE recent or same revision level (in terms of date, not version numbering, per se) as the controllers.
    Have you upgraded the controllers prior to the WCS? It is my understanding that upgrading in the wrong order (i.e.: Upgrading the WLC/WiSM before the WCS is upgraded) might cause problems.
    Just a thought.
