Failed to initialze distribution support library. A file or key may be missing

Any help would be highly appreciated. I am getting this error when I try to build distribution in LW/CVI 2010. The project was developed in CVI 2009 and I am trying to build the distribution in CVI 2010.

Our thoughts on this issue is that one of the supporting DLLs is missing or corrupted, and repairing the installation should fix the issue. I would verify that you have these DLLs on your machine. If they are not on your machine, I would try repairing the installation. Let me know if this does not fix the issue for you.
These DLLs are located in:
Win XP: Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\National Instruments\MDF\BinRTE
Win 7/ Vista: ProgramData\National Instruments\MDF\BinRTE

I found the solution to this problem after looking around online, and figured other people might be having the same problem, so here it is...
First, create a new folder on your computer desktop and call it "Old MIDI Drivers" (or something similar), then go to Macintosh HD>library>audio>midi drivers, and move all the drivers (that you don't plan on using) from that folder into your "Old MIDI Driver" folder on your desktop. For example, I moved all the drivers out except for my MBox 2 driver.
After you do this, you may have to restart your comp. (I didn't) and Reason should run.

"Failed to open midi support library". What is missing? And if so, how do I get it back? What to do?

I own a new Macbook pro 15" quadcore with OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.4
When trying to start software Reason 7 I only get the message "Failed to open midi support library".
What is missing? And if so, how do I get it back? Reinstalling Mountain Lion did not solve anything.
What may I do? Is there separate MIDI-drivers or else that Macbook needs to be running audio at all?
My audiocard Apogee Duet 2 is´nt working well either and I cannot even open the MIDI-window in Mac,
so that road is blocked. I´ve seen more ppl having problem but found no explaination.
Some say to remove midi-drivers but that folder is empty (or hidden?) when opening.
Also, Garage Band cannot open. It´s no problem with graphic apps, only with audio/midi.
My 2011 Macbook pro13" with OS X Lion runs like a charm. So how can this be? It really puzzles my mind.
Have thoughts on having OS X Lion on the new Mac as well but will not do it until I know where the real problem is.

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? What can I do? Every time I download & run "iPhoto Library Upgrader" it fails to "prepare" the my iPhoto Library, so I can't open iPhoto any more.
(My MacOS & iPhoto are the latest versions.)
Ever since my last upgrades, every time I try to open iPhoto, a Alert box pops up saying, "To open your library with this version of iPhoto, it first needs to be prepared. To prepare the library, use the iPhoto Library Upgrader", and it gives 2 options: a "Learn More" button or "Quit" (iPhoto) button. The "Learn More" button links to Apple's "iPhoto '11: About the Library Upgrader" page (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5037), but whenever I then download and run that page's linked app, the same thing happens all over again.
It does no good to rebuild the iPhoto Library (holding down the command & option keys while reopening iPhoto): the same thing happens.
It does no good to use iPhoto Library Manager (http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/) to rebuild the iPhoto Library, as was suggested elsewhere: the same thing happens.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

I have a outlook 2007 plugin created in VS 2008 that reads calendar meetings. This plugin also works with outlook 2010. I used to debug this application from VS 2010 as well.
Last month, I installed Office 365 to test something. Later I uninstalled this version but after that my plugin application is crashing, every time a new appointment/meeting is created in calendar.
I get the below error:

Hard drive failed - have music files but not library.itl file

So here's the situation. The hard drive on my husband's laptop recently failed. It is now fixed, but his data is lost. Luckily, we had moved his music files to an external drive. It appears that we only moved the music files and not the library.itl file. We have a backup from November of the library.itl file.
1. His ipod is fine. He wants to be able to pull the playlist info from his ipod to restore the info on the library.itl file. Is that possible?
2. If that is not possible, what are the ramifications of restoring the library.itl file from November? Will he "lose" the music that was added since then?

When attempting to check and send email from my Mac via iCloud, I keep getting the error "Authentication failed because Outlook doesn't support any of the available authentication methods." I have change just about everything I can see available, but continue to get this message.
I am able to send email via iCloud using my .Me and .Mac adresses, and that tells me that it is not able to store "sent emails" on iCluud and will store them loaclly on my computer. I can handle this, but whem going to iCloud Web page haave nothing withing the "sent" mailbox.

Publication Failed - EDIT_QUERY feature is not supported

We have configured server-side trust and are able to successfully create publications for users with "Developer" access, but when any other "standard" users are added to the Enterprise Recipients list, the publication fails for that user with the following message:

When I add the test user to the "Developers" group, it works. However, if the user is not in that group, but I have given it developer access to the Folder/Report, Webi (Application), and InfoView, and the publication fails. It seems like the user needs additional access in some other place, but I can't seem to find it. Anyone have any idea?

Hi Ingo --
I was really just referring to the level of access that the users had (through our custom Access Levels). I had gone so far as to give the test user full control to Webi, Infoview, and the Folder the report/publication was in, but the publication still failed. I figured out late yesterday that the problem was with Universe security. The user did not have the "Create and Edit Query based on the universe" right.

Consolidate Library, Copying Files Failed

I am trying to consolidate my library and when I run it I get an error message that says "Copying files failed, because you don't have permission to change your iTunes Media folder or a folder within it.
Can someone tell me how to track down exactly where the problem is and where to fix it so I can consolidate my library?
Upgrade to iTunes Media Organization is greyed out as I apparently have already done that sometime in the past.

I'm having similar problems, but Katrina S's suggestion didn't work for me. From my desktop, I'd transferred my music files to an external USB hard drive and the library database files to my laptop. iTunes plays perfectly, but I get the same error message when I try to consolidate. I changed permissions on the external drive and on the iTunes library folder, when needed, to make sure either my user logon or an administrator (which includes me) had full permissions. Still can't consolidate, though. CarolynOtt, did you find a solution yet?
