I am getting Failed to load persisted view. (LO 26620) error when i view dashboard from the CMC and bi launch pad in CRS 2011 sp#6.
using crystal report as backend in dashboard using live office.

The Report Application Server (RAS) has reached the maximum number of concurrent jobs
Resolution
Add another Report Application Server (RAS) in the Central Management Console (CMC)
Set up equal to 0 (for unlimited) the Maximum Concurrent Report Jobs for the Report Application Server (RAS) in the Central Management Console (CMC)
Ensure that option 'Suppress the printing if no records are returned' in Crystal reports is unchecked.

I have been uploading pictures of booksd to ABE.com for ages. I am able to view these images on the site. Today, without warning, I am unable to do this. Coincidentally, I note that I can no longer view film footage on the BBC news pages. The Latest Headlines column is also showing "Live Bookmark Feed failed to load". Please help.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
*Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
*Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Make sure that you do not block third-party images permissions.default.images

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.
Try to remove the current Latest Headlines feed and create a new feed.<br />

"View failed to load" error when I open Resources - Project Server 2013

I get the following error when I open the Resources Page (I am using Project Server 2013):
"The view failed to load. Press OK to reload this view with the default settings. Press Cancel to select another view"

Failed to load the folio on Desktop Viewer

Hi all
We've created a ebook(folio) which contains 19 articles. After exported it from the DPS, I tried to open it on PC, ipad and Galaxy.
I tried on 3 PCs. It works perfectly on 2 (one running Win7 and the other running WinXP, both have InDesign CS6 installed). But it failed on another PC running WinXP, which doesn't have InDesign installed. Among the 19 folios exported from DPS, only 3 can be opened. When openning the others, it shows "Error Failed to load the folio".
I did some search before, some said PDF folio is not supported on Desktop Viewer. Though I don't know which format it is, but if it's true in my case, it shouldn't have worked on the other 2 PCs, right?
I wonder if having InDesign installed make a difference? Or it's something else?
Some of my clients use PC to read the ebook - it gotta be solved asap.

Adobe Content Viewer on the desktop is only intended for previewing folios while doing design work. It's not meant to be a distribution mechanism to clients. If you don't have InDesign installed chances are it won't work.

Lightroom 5.5 grid view fails to load some images. These do load in develop, then re-appear in grid. Re-installed 5.4 (after deleting 5.5, then emptying trash in 10.9.5) and it now exhibits same behavior. Suggestions?

These same images fail to load in slideshows; "loading" appears without the image ever appearing. I can export these grayed-out images and retrieve the image content in the exported file. Not being able to see all images in grid view is an inconvenience for sure; e.g., I can't review all the contents of a collection before posting it. This behavior didn't occur until I upgraded to 5.5. Now it has migrated back into 5.4, despite having selected 5.5 and emptying trash before the re-install.

View Failure - the view failed to load

Hi,
I am working on a master project with several subprojects, and when I published the project, and then go to look at it in PWA i get a warning popup that says "The view failed to load. Press OK to reload this view with the default settings". Pressing OK leads
to the popup showing up again.
As suggested in other threads i tried updating to the October CU but that didn't solve the problem.
Any help is much appreciated!

Since this is master project issue could be related to one or more sub project. How many sub projects do you have?
Can you try to open each sub project separately in PWA?
Another way to narrow down the issue is to publish one project at a time.
Open the master project in Project Pro. Insert a column "Publish"
Set No for all sub projects. Save and Publish master project. Try to reproduce the issue in PWA.
Next set Publish=Yes for 1 project plan and repeat the rest of the procedure. This will help to identify the project plan causing view to failure.
Also if you have access when issue occurs review latest ULS log from the server.

Event ID 219 - driver fails to load

I have the following error each time I restart my Dell Optiplex 780, Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Event ID 219
The driver\Driver\WUPDFR failed to load for the device WpdBusEnumRoot\UMB\2&37c186b8&STORAGE#VOLUME#_??_USBSTORE#DISK&VEN_DELL&PROD_USB_MASS_STORAGE&REV_200#7&3B0D4174&08&HW6y6Q1&0#.
The bold and underlined portion of this long string is the Service Tag # of my Dell V313w Printer. I have completely removed the software, using the Control Panel/Applications and Features/Uninstall. I then downloaded the latest printer package from Dell for
Win7 64-bit for my product. I installed it and I still get the same error(s), each time I restart my PC.
Any thoughts, suggestions or solutions to this perplexing problem? BTW - everything seems to work just fine, but my event log is getting clogged with this persistant error.

Please provide us with your Event Viewer administrative logs by following these steps:
Click Start Menu
Type eventvwr into Search programs and files (do not hit enter)
Right click eventvwr.exe and click Run as administrator
Expand Custom Views
Click Administrative Events
Right click Administrative Events
Save all Events in Custom View As...
Save them in a folder where you will remember which folder and save as Errors.evtx
Go to where you saved Errors.evtx
Right click Errors.evtx -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder

FireFox images not loading in local folders (firebug error-Failed to load given URL)

I am having difficulty when developing websites in local folders (Windows7 computer). The webpages I make are showing images in IE9 & Chrome but not FireFox (nor Safari nor Opera).
In FireFox I get Firebug "Failed to load given URL" prompt.
I am using html5 & external linked css stylesheet & the html/html5 & css code validates.
I have tried using rel path ie images/image.gif & absolute path references ie C:/RPD_Programming/RPD WEB/amwcsnew/index.html
and have tried using % to eliminate whitespace in references but I cannot get FireFox to display images!!
This has been a problem for me for around 2 weeks now & is very frustrating. Some website code/templates I have downloaded from the internet display the websites properly (ie load images fine) when I open them locally in FireFox. Why does my code not allow the images to load in FireFox (paths/permissions/other issue??). How can I fix this?

You need to use file:// as the protocol instead of C:/. The latter may never work (C:\ might).
Where is the main HTML located ?
Easiest if to store the images in a sub folder of the location because you can't go back via ../ beyond that root location for security reasons.

Hi,
We were using the crsyatl reports 9 for a desktop application that connects to a webservice.We had an issue with memory leak in crystal reports and hence we installed crystal reports 7 and upgraded that to crysta reports 9.We later installed the service pack 7 for the crystal reports 9 which has the fix for this memory leak .We are using the dlls Version=9.2.3300.0.But after upgrading and applying the service pack we couldnot even view the report in the report windows forms viewer.A error was displayed as C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Application\Reports\CapitalReports\Building Reports\Comprehensive Reports\exreport.rpt ,Failed to load the database information .This was working fine before upgrading.We cannot find the solution.

In trying to diagnose this problem, we have obtained our own 64bit h/w, installed the same Windows OS, and installed the same components in the same order (to the best of our ability) as on the customer machine (Framework 2, IIS, SQL 2005, Framework 1.1, etc.).
On our server, the reports work fine! No exception "Failed to load database information" generated.
We've also updated the customer's machine with the latest updates from MS (Framework 2 sp1, Framework 1.1 sp1, OS updates, security updates, etc.), but no joy . The reports still fail with the described exception.
What can we do to diagnose this? Are there any trace or logging options in Crystal that can be turned on? Why weren't we able to replicate the problem?

Failed to load database information. When previewing report in CMC

I attempting to load reports that are from our accounting program. The account program uses a ProvideX driver and every report I add to the CMC displays the same results
Unable to retrieve Object.
Failed to load database information. File xxxxxxxxx.rpt
When I am listing my connection source for the report I have the following selected:
Use custom database logon information specified here
For the driver I am listing
MAS 90 4.0 ODBC Driver
Server = SOTAMAS90
DATABASE= ABC
USER= bmb
Password= password
If I have any other settings or if I just choose standard ODBC I get the following results
Unable to retrieve Object.
The database logon information for this report is either incomplete or incorrect.
I can view reports fine from my Access Database but the SOTASMAS90 is causing problems.
Any ideas?

I tried using the standard ODBC connection and I tried placing MAS 90 4.0 ODBC Driver in the custom driver.
If I go to my ODBC connections in my Administrative tools and select Add driver, the driver name that displays is MAS 90 4.0 ODBC Driver. So I was thinking that the CMC would be able to determine the driver if I used the same naming convention that was used by Windows.
I have some screenshots that I uploaded if you want to take a look. I figure this should just work.

CR VS 2013 error: Additional information: Failed to load database information.

We have VS 2008 (V9.0.30729.1 SP1) using .Net 3.5 under Windows Server 2003 R2 Data Center Edition. VS 2008 came with Crystal Reports Version 10.5.3700.0. We developed a little report in a winform to run against Oracle 11gR2 using the OLE DB support in the CR Report Wizard in the VS 2008 IDE. We want to migrate this report to VS 2013. We installed VS 2013 Professional (V12.0.30110.00 Update 1) under Windows Server 2012 R2 Data Center Edition. We downloaded CRforVS_13_0_9 and installed it in VS 2013. We moved the project from VS 2008 and opened it under VS 2013. It looks like it converted OK. When we run it we get the following error:

More information: We can step through the wizard in VS 2013 using the standard template and add a report viewer control to the form and point it at the report and run it just fine in the VS 2013 IDE when there is no code in the form1_load event. We feel we have the Oracle.DataAccess.dll for the 11.2.0 client installed and tested correctly on the server and do not feel there is an issue with data base installation. When we add back the code above to the form1_load event and run it we get the error above.
We have the logger set up but nothing gets added to the log files.
We have tried three different ways to set the data source to resolve the error that is occurring at this line of code that is failing but with no luck:

Hi Bruce
In my experience, the only reason for the error is that the there is an issue with the dataset and as a back up sort of a thing, the report engine is attempting to connect to the database the report was created off of. To test the dataset with the report, see this wiki on how to.
Also, ensure that you have a look at this KBA.

Failed to load database information in Crystal 2011 using DB2 connection

we have a Problem using Crystal Reports 2011 on SAP SBOP 4.0 SP2 Patch 10.
BI 4.0 Server is running on AIX. The Datasource is an DB2 database a connect from the OS is possible.
The x32 libarys of the DB2 client are availabe because the crystal 2011 reports server is running with 32 bit environment.
While opening / executing the crystal 2011 report the following error occur: "failed to load database information".
I've made a trace of crystal 2011 server with crlog. I found the following:

the Problem has been found by SAP. The Business Objects Server is searching for an env variable called LIBPATH32.
By default this has not been set to the DB2 x32 Libary path by AIX or SBOP setup.
We solved the issue by adding the following (LIBPATH32) into the file .profile
The following three lines have been added by IBM DB2 instance utilities.

    . /home/boeadm/sqllib/db2profile
    LIBPATH32=/home/boeadm/sqllib/lib32:$LIBPATH32; export LIBPATH32

After doing:

Pages fail to load and instead show "invis.gif 1x1 pixels"

Leopard 10.5.1, Safari 3.0.4, Mac Book Pro, Airport to Linksys WRT54Gv6 to Cable Modem.
Sometimes, while viewing certain pages, Safari will fail to load the page and instead show "invis.gif 1x1 pixels" in the window title bar. The content area is plain white. Ironically, this is 100% reproducible when trying to reply to a forum post here.
With the Debug menu enabled, Web Inspector shows the following warnings:
* Resource interpreted as document but transferred with MIME type image/gif.
* http://discussions.apple.com/post!reply.jspa?messageID=6033688
* Resource interpreted as image but transfered with MIME type text/html.
* http://discussions.apple.com/favicon.ico
I've seen this failure before while randomly browsing the web, but this is the first URL I've come across that is 100% reproducible. Firefox 2.0.0.11 and Opera 9.24 don't have a problem loading the page on the same computer.

I had tried a trial version of NetBarrier that came with my Virus Barrier and Personal BackUp and when I deleted the app my problems began. I had no idea it was the culprit because it happened in both Safari and Firefox.

I went into Preferences and deleted the folder called "Net Barrier" and no more problems.
