Failed to load Plugi

When I load my SB Li've! Platinum (with the Li've Dri've! in front) software an error message says
Failed to load Plugins. Does anyone have information on how to fix it's I would really appreciate it.
Thanks.

I have the same problem as Legal listed above
I switched to win2k on a new harddri've. Now SB Li've! Platinum software will not work. I do get sound out of the card, but can't do any recording, playing, etc..(SB software type stuff)
I have unistalled (and) disable the onboard audio (sis702), and MIDI as well as disable audio and MIDI modules in Bios.
I have Ran setup from original driver disk. installed card. Ran Windows wizard again.
Forced the OEMSETUP. INF file as the audio driver.
Windows Recoginizes Creative Li've! and Game Port (they show up in device manager).
I HAVE SOUND BUT When I try to run anything from the Playcenter (or any SB Software) I get errors "PlayCenter could not find the necc.. hardware or drivers to execute properly. make sure hardware and drivers are setup " or "failed to load plugins" or "no midi output detected"
When I run the li'vedrvuni-pack, to update drivers, I get error "setup could not recognize any SB Audio card on your system Please make sure hardware is properly installed..." So I tried another slot, and another, same result--But I have sound.

  • On 6u13, new plug-in fails to load on Windows 2003 and IE7

I'm attempting to load an applet in IE7 with an OBJECT tag in Windows 2003. This is a mature product that has, for this release, moved from 5 to 6. The CLSID was changed from the CAFEEFAC one for any version of 5 to the one for any version of 6. Java 5 version worked fine on Windows 2003. Now, on some, but not all, of our 2003 systems the ActiveX control for the new Java Plug-in fails to load.
    These configurations work:
    - Windows XP and any Java and any IE
    - Windows 2003 and Java5 and any IE
    - Windows 2003 and Java6, old plug-in, and any IE
    - Windows 2003 and Java6 and APPLET tag and any IE
    This one doesn't...on some machines:
    - Windows 2003 and Java6, new plug-in, IE7, OBJECT tag
This is not a security problem. If I turn off the new style plug-in in the control panel, it works. However, I'd really like to avoid doing this, as the new plug-in has much needed features. Also, the APPLET tag works where the OBJECT tag doesn't. I can implement this change if needed, but it would be fairly painful and I'd prefer to avoid it.
Does anyone know why this might be happening? Is there a good way for me to diagnose this? The browser is quite silent as to what the error might be.
I appreciate any help. This one is truly vexing me!

Okay, I'm wrong...I thought I could move to APPLET tags...I cannot. LiveConnect from JavaScript to Java does not support APPLET tags, only OBJECT tags. This makes my problem worse, as I don't have any recourse so far, except to disable the new plugin.
However, this did lead to a clue: disabling the new plugin caused it to work again. When the new plugin was re-enabled to see it fail again, much to my surprise, it worked! Does anyone know what flipping that option actually does? Registry change or something else?

Go to Macintosh HD>Library>Internet Plug-ins and remove QuickTime Plugin.webplugin
Make sure you get the right one, ie the one with .webplugin file extension
    But don't trash it yet!
    This worked for me.

  • Solution to "Quicktime Plug-in failed to load" error

My solution to "Plug-in failed to load" error message when attempting to watch demo movie on Apple website (and others):
I found two Quick-time plugin.plugin files in my Internet Plug-ins folder in my
User Library folder. One was version 6.3 and one was version 6.5.2.
Removing the 6.3 version solved the problem. Removing the 6.5.2 version had no effect, so I removed it also.
Never could have solved this one without the help of Woody at Apple!!!!

    Why not install version 7?

  • Photoshop CS4 for Mac What can cause the error: Plug-in failed to load - NO VERSION

With Photoshop CS4 for Mac I install the Kodak Plug-in DIGITAL GEM Airbrush Professional v2.1.0. When Photoshop starts I get an error:
    Plug-ins that failed to load:
DIGITAL GEM Airbrush Professional v2.1.0 NO VERSION -  - from the file “DigitalAIRProv2.plugin”Flash:
       Connections
       Kuler
This plug-in works fine on my Mac Pro with Photoshop CS4 and OS 10.6 but fails on a new Macbook Air.
Reinstalling the plug-in did not make any difference. What can cause this error?

Thanks Chris, That was my first thought too but this same plug-in works on another installation of CS4. This is a Mac installation and the plug-in is Universal so it should work. Is there any other possible cause for this error? Would Photoshop refuse to load a plug-in in a low memory situation?
Also, The Flash extensions:Connections and Kuler are working OK, I just copied a little more out of the System Info report than I needed to.

After installing PS CS5X on my new Win 7-64 system, I get this message when I open PS64bit:
    Plug-ins that failed to load:

I can't find any reference to this in searching.
    Appreciate any suggestions to resolve.
    Thanks,

    Hi Ron,
I'm pretty sure this is a third party plug-in that is not 64-bit compatible. Did you copy any old plug-ins to your CS5 install, or point the Alternate plug-ins pref. to a directory of plug-ins? Try launching the 32-bit version of Ps and then go to Help> About Plug-In to see what third party plaug-ins are there.

  • Plug-ins that failed to load   NO VERSION

I am trying to release a 64bit version of Windows plugin.
I get the following issue when Photoshop CS4 64bit starts.
    Plug-ins that failed to load:
Correct NO VERSION -  - from the file “PTFilters.8BF”

The 32bit version loads fine. In a single file I have 5 plugins.  Each with its own entry point and PiPl and aete resource.
Are there other chagnes to the resource file besides the following needed?
                #if defined(_WIN64)
                    CodeWin64X86 { "PluginMainCorrect" },
                #else
                    CodeWin32X86 { "PluginMainCorrect" },
                #endif
On the 32bit version if I choose Help | About Plugin ... on any one of them I get 5 request to display an about box. Is there something I can do to prevent this besides creating 5 seperate files?
    Jim

The reason for the plugins failing to load on 64bit was I forgot add a Preprocessor define of _WIN64
Still getting 5 request to dispay the about box .  Is this a PS bug?

  • Fails to load Quicktime plug in 7.41.

I keep getting the below error when trying to look at various movie clips. My mac will sometimes go to windows player but it will not play anything using quicktime.
    Any ideas ?
The page “Apple - MacBook Air - Guided Tour - Small” attempted to load an Internet plug-in named “QuickTime Plug-In 7.4.1”, but the plug-in failed to load successfully.

These are the downloads and the settings you need in order to view/hear pretty much everything that the net can throw at you: The setup described below has proved repeatedly successful on both PPC and Intel macs, but nothing in life carries a guarantee!
It is known to work in the great majority of cases with Safari 3.0.4, QT 7.3 or 7.4 and OS 10.4.11. (If you are running Leopard, ensure that all plug-ins have been updated for OS 10.5.2, but please see my footnote).
Assuming you already run Tiger versions OS 10.4.9 or above (this has not yet been verified with Leopard) and have Quicktime 7.2 or above, and are using Safari 2 or 3, download and install (or re-install even if you already had them) the latest versions, suitable for your flavor of Mac, of:
    RealPlayer 10 for Mac from http://forms.real.com/real/player/blackjack.html?platform2=Mac%20OS%20X&product= RealPlayer%2010&proc=g3&lang=&show_list=0&src=macjack
Flip4Mac WMV Player from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/wmcomponents.mspx (Windows Media Player for the Mac is no longer supported, even by Microsoft)
    Perian from http://perian.org/
You should read this support page http://perian.org/#support in case you need to delete older codecs.
Adobe FlashPlayer should first be uninstalled using the appropriate uninstaller available here: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157&sliceId=2 and then the latest version obtained from here: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1ProdVersion=ShockwaveFlash and installed.
(You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS, but please see my footnote if you are running Leopard.)
In earlier versions than QT 7.1.3 in Quicktime Preferences, under advanced, UNcheck Enable Flash, and under Mime settings/Miscellananeous only check Quicktime HTML (QHTM).
You should also ensure, if you are running Tiger 10.4.11 or Leopard, that you have downloaded and installed the correct version for your Mac of Security Update 2007-009.1.1, which also deals with the Quicktime/Flash issues you may have experienced, such as the '?'. What happened was that both Quicktime as well as Adobe FlashPlayer tried to play the Flash video at the same time. This no longer happens. (N.B. Security Update 2007-009 1.1 requires both a restart and a permission repair.)
If you get problems with viewing video on a website try moving this file to your Desktop:
    Hard drive/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/QuickTime Plugin.webplugin
and then restarting Safari. If all now works, you can trash that file.
In Macintosh HD/Library/Quicktime/ delete any files relating to DivX (Perian already has them). However it should be noted that Perian is not an internet plugin and will not play DivX files imbedded on a website. For that you will need the DivX Player browser plugin available from http://www.divx.com/divx/mac/
Now go to Safari Preferences/Security, and tick the boxes under Web Content (all 4 of them) to enable Java.
Lastly open Audio Midi Setup (which you will find in the Utilities Folder of your Applications Folder) and click on Audio Devices. Make sure that both Audio Input and Audio Output, under Format, are set to 44100 Hz, and that you have selected 'Built in Audio'.
Important: Now repair permissions and restart.
You should also consider having the free VLC Player from http://www.videolan.org/ in your armory, as this plays almost anything that DVD Player might not.

  • Failed to load  "QuickTime Plug-In 7.3.1", OS 10.4.11/QT 7.3.1

Attempted to access QT media via Safari in OS 10.4.11/QT 7.3.1 and received error message: The page “http://qtsx.odysseyisp.net/mps/Introduction.mov” attempted to load an Internet plug-in named “QuickTime Plug-In 7.3.1”, but the plug-in failed to load successfully. I do not know why. This works perfectly on my MacBook Intel but not on my iMac G5 or this machine. HELP!

    Apple Discussions!
You posted a bad link. It should be:
    http://qtsx.odysseyisp.net/mps/Introduction.mov
Since I also have a G5 iMac I tested the link using FireFox, Netscape & Camino-the latest versions. Sorry, I do not use Safari. Had no problems viewing the video. Sound & picture came in quite clearly.
Which version of Safari are you using?
Have you tried using another browser? If the problem only appears in Safari, it may just be Safari's problem & not QT.
Did you repair permissions & restart after you updated QT?

  • Error  '"Shockwave Flash", but the plug-in failed to load successfully

Hi, some help please. I'm not very technical on macs so I need somebody to help with as much detail as possible. I use the browser Safari 1.3.2 but it will no longer display flash content, instead I get the lego box with a question mark in it and the error message '...“Shockwave Flash”, but the plug-in failed to load successfully'. I've checked some discussion threads but they are beyond my realm of comprehension - I am but a simple man in need of help. Please help. Please. Somebody...

    Hi neonhook,
First of all, Welcome to the  Discussion forums!
"I am but a simple man in need of help."
Trust me, there are a lot of us around here like that
If possible, I would suggest using a different browser such as Camino 1.6.4 or even Firefox 2.0.0.x (but keep in mind that Firefox 2.0.0.x will only be supported fully using 10.3.9 until mid-December 2008 and Firefox 3.0 is for OS 10.4 and above only.
Both Camino and Firefox can be customized to look and feel a lot like Safari and have many features that Safari 1.3.2 does not. I use Camino and find it faster and with no crashes due to flash web content etc. You'll be able to use sites such as Google Maps again, etc.
Safari for 10.3.9 is no longer being supported and to use a newer version of Safari you would need to upgrade your OS to at least 10.4 and above.
hope that helps some and post back with comments and questions,
    littleshoulders
PS. Please post back if any of the above information is too confusing as I do understand it can be.

  • Plug-in failed to load successfully

QT 7.5, Leopard 10.5.4, MacBook, installed via software update, reinstalled with direct download. Any QT web content gets error message "...attempted to load an internet plug-in named "Quicktime Plug-In 7.5", but the plug-in failed to load successfully."
No QT movies on web load. ITunes store QT trailers don't play in iTunes. Downloaded trailers play in iTunes. Downloaded trailers play in QT player.
I've repaired permissions, reinstalled, etc, etc. This issue apparently has happened to others. Any solutions?

    Yes, I've run the gamut.
I'm not new to the dance. I wouldn't normally even download the app directly, but it seemed a logical approach to sidestep anything software update might introduce. I have several (>10) Macs of all flavors -- this is the only one exhibiting this issue. Leopard was cleanly installed. User data imported from G4 iBook via FireWire using the OS installation dialogue. Again, something that's worked fine in the past, even from G4 to Intel flavor.
    Scratching my head here.

  • Pages Failing to load

Recently I have had increasing trouble with web pages failing to load. It can be quite irratic.
Tonight, for example, Apple's main page at www.apple.com itself will sometimes load quickly and sometimes get to "completed 34 out of 35 items" then just stop loading. If I open the activity window, the only item not loaded is:
Another frequent error seems to do with plug-ins. As an example, just now I tried to load http://www.sltrib.com/ and the page loaded with two errors which the activity window reported as:

    Welcome to Apple Discussions
You may find relief by making your Network settings more specific. Some suggestions:
Go to the System Preferences>Network panel
    - Location - set up a personal location by clicking on the drop down menu and selecting "add a location". Use a name familiar to you. Once established, select "apply".
    - Next, click on the "Show" drop down menu and select Network Port Configurations. Only Ethernet (or Airport) ought to be checked. Move it to the top of the list (you can drag it). Select "apply".
    - Back to the "Show" menu, depending on your connection select "Ethernet" or "Airport". Click on the TCP panel. There enter 4.2.2.2 in the DNS servers box and select "apply". Or, as an alternative, follow the DNS suggestions outlined here.
Creating a personal location seems to speed things up. Otherwise, the "automatic" function has a tendency to "search" for available locations.
In the Finder, go to your Utilities folder and select "Terminal". Once the screen is open enter lookupd -flushcache and press return. This clears out the DNS cache. Once done, quit Terminal.
Restart the computer, then try Safari. Post back and let me know how you make out.

  • Webpages and videos fail to load

    I have Mac OS X 10.7.5, and I am using Safari 6.1.1.
Some webpages do load, but others fail to load. The blue loading often stops after reaching a certain point. Additionally, when I try to play video content within pages I am sometimes told that the plug-in cannot be found. However, Safari does not actually crash.
I have: emptied the Safari Caches, removed all website data, and switched all Safari extensions off. I have also installed plug-ins: Adobe Flash Player (latest version), Shockwave, Silverlight, Java, Flip4mac, and Adobe Acrobat. I also deleted all files from Macintosh HD/Library/Caches (which may have been unwise....).
The problem does not appear to be with Safari, as I have tried using Opera and Firefox, and they both experience the same issues (videos and webpages failing to load).
Assistance or advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.
