Failed to login iCloud-PhotoStream after Apple TV3 upgraded to 6.0

After updating my OS on my Apple tv today, I am unable to sign into my iCloud ID on my apple tv. It lets me put the password in, takes me to the Terms and Agreements page, I click "Agree" and nothing happens, i just keep staying on the Terms and Agreements page. I"ve restored and restarted my Apple TV....I've signed in and out...my iTunes on my apple TV is using a different account but that wasn't a problem before the OS update. I've tried signing into iCloud using the other apple ID (the one from iTunes) and there's no problem there - I click Agree and it takes me to iCloud (only problem I have no photos on that iCloud account - why isn't the original iCLoud ID working? I can log in no problem on my other devices to it.... Any advice??????

I had the same problem. I have solved it this way:
After the Update the "Country" in the Settings was set to "USA", but i'm a german user with. So i changed it back to Germany in the Settings and voila ... I can accept the terms and Photostream is working again
You should change the Country (regional settings?) to your country and then log into the iCloud.

    I just bought my son an iphone and at the store, they set up an icloud account for him with a password that will allow him to download free apps with out a credit card.  Previously my iphone, my husbands iphone (which used to be my iphone) and my ipad were all getting any apps and photos (through photostream) that we were downloading.  I would like my son's phone to join this community but I'm not sure how to do that.  His phone is under my same AT&T wireless account

    If you want his phone to be connected to your photo stream, it will have to share the same iCloud account.  If he does that, if data syncing for contacts, calendars, etc. is turned on in Settings>iCloud, his data will be merge with yours and you will all get the merged data on your phones.  His phone would also be sharing the same 5GB of free space in your iCloud account, rather than having his own.  If you still want to do this, on his phone you will need togo to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On iPhone.  Next, set up your iCloud account on his phone and turn on any data you want him to sync with the account (recognizing that it will be merged with yours if you do), and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge.
    To automatically download apps you are downloading, you will have to set up your iTunes account on his phone rather than using his own.  If you want to do this, go to Settings>iTunes & App Stores, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back into your ID.  Then turn Automatic Downloads for Apps, etc. to On.  Note: once you turn on automatic downloads for your ID, his phone will be "associated" with your ID and he will not be able to automatically download purchases or past purchases for a different iTunes account/ID for 90 days.

  • All emails on the iCloud disappeared after iOS 7 upgrade

    I have upgraded to iOS 7 and all emails on iCloud (and on all devices as well, of course) are just gone! What happened? Anybody knows how to get them back? I've checked both the app and on icloud.com - only emails, that were received after the upgrade are avaliable. The rest of the folders, including Sent, Received, Spam etc. are empty.
    P.S. - "You should have backed up before upgrading" or "iOS 7 *****" are not helpful.

  • Spotlight failing to index all items after 10.5 upgrade

    I have found an issue (at least on my computer) where Spotlight does not index all items (in this case folders) on the local hard drive. I confirmed this by searching for a known folder and having Spotlight produce no results when searching for it. I then renamed the folder with a name such as "folder_old" and then created a new folder under 10.5 with the original name. I then moved the contents of the previous folder to the new one and then Spotlight successfully finds the folder. Here's the problem...I am a long time Mac user and I have thousands of folders. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?
    I also feel Apple should allow users to select if they are searching for a file name or contents prior to the start of the find in the spotlight menu bar. Give the users some options.

  • When will apple fix the icloud photostreaming?

    1) I want to be able to delete individual files. Why wouldn't they allow pictures from the cloud to be deleted?
    2) I want to be able to reset my photostreaming, currently iCloud services are busted, since Apple failed to plan to have enough servers for their new iPhone release.  When is Apple going to fix the iCloud issue?  
    Here's the problem that I am currently having.

    my photostram only works on the iOSdevice but stopped refrehsing in Aperture. ( worked before ).
    Now I have 40 new pictures in photostream that I want in Aperture, but they never show up.
    Another failing feature of iCloud.
    Yesterday iwork on iOS deleted my pages and numbers files instead of syncing them.

    To change the iCloud ID on your device you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone when prompted, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.

However, you can use the same Apple ID for iTunes content on each device, but different Apple ID's for iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, etc., on each device.     Yeah no kidding.
    I have a big paid up MobileMe account with tons of gallery stuff - this will all go away for me in July, and I'll miss it - it took no learning to use, and it was built into everything - just intuitive to post to a gallery password protect it, and send a link to a friend.  Click click done!
    It bothers me a lot when features I really enjoy and use are pulled in these half baked new apps and services.
    iMovie used to be quite good, but the new one is very restrictive - it's a step backwards in some ways.
    MobileMe was fine, but iCloud takes away the Gallery???? - another step backward.
    We use some iPhones at work for shooting some videos and technical engineering photo's, and while it's pretty cool that the iPhone photo's get put on the photostream of "Jason's iMac", I don't have instant access, and I would really like to be able to do that. If it could be done, then I can stay at home and work sometimes and I can get the photo's automagically.  
    Apple - please fix this.

    iOS devices cannnot be tracked or located with just the serial number. Unless you shared your Apple ID and password with anyone, then your account cannot be accessed at the iTunes Store.

    For whatever reasons, the "None" option is not always available to all users and I think it may be related to what country you live in. Short of contacting Apple to get it straightened out, if you haven't done anything with your new ID ye - you can create an Apple ID without a credit card and simply abandon the one that you just created.

    The two big things that you have to remember for this to work are ... you have to sign out of your existing Apple ID .... Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap the ID and sign out. Then you have to try to download a free app to bring up the window that asks you to sign in or create an ID. Read the information on the website that I referenced above.
    If you have not used the original Apple ID for anything yet, you can simply ignore it and use the new one - or like I said earlier - contact iTunes support and ask them to help you sort it out.

    Are you using a home network?
    Try the following :                 
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on the router
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

    That is the link for the same topic. The fix for this issue is to perform a system factory restore in "settings"...scroll down until you see restore & choose factory system restore...The Apple TV will restore itself with all icons in the menu & will be running the latest software 5.1.
    I did this yesterday & it worked perfectly.
    I think the issue is happening from apple TV's which have received older updates that are not compatible with the latest update or it is just a glitch that happens...
