Failed to run simpapp example application of Tuxedo

1. I installed WL9 SP1 on win 2003 machine and Tuxedo 9.1 on this installation
2. I installed the simpapp and follow the instructions at the instructions.html
3. The ant process and ant wtcmbeans process passed successfully
4. When I run the ant run command I got the following output

The simpserv was not built successfully. One frequently met situation is the
vc++ environment not set properly. Before invoking the ant script, you can
find the "vcvars32.bat" in your vc++ installation and run it, then have a
try.

Running VC example applications

I'm trying to learn VC with the examples provided by VC Modeling Resource Center (Visual Composer Modeling Resource Center [original link is broken]).
I downloaded an example and it comes with two files (gml and sql). I tried to follow the tutorial "How to run VC applications" (https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/60e62459-7975-2910-64a2-8a61b0c83208) but on beggining of tutorial says about SQL Server Enterprise Manager. Isn't that a Microsoft apllication ? I dont have that software because my server is Unix. So the begging of that tutorial don't work for me.
Can anyone help me please ?

I'm afraid you need an SQL DB in order to run this example.

ITunes failing to run with an application error

Hi All,
I have been running iTunes on my DELL computer with absolutely no problems until just the other day I started up the program and got this unrecoverable error:
Remote Speakers: iTunes.exe - Application Error
The rest of the error message basicaly says that it can't read a particular referenced memory location. It stops there and I can only ok or cancel the error message.
I tried reinstalling the latest version of iTunes, didn't work. I then uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it...nope didn't work either.
I'm feeling quite frustrated, anyone have some ideas of what I can do to resolve this?

yeah let's swap that QuickTime out.
since that's not the most common QuickTime error message i see under these circumstances, we'll take a few additional precautions with the uninstall.
head into your Add/Remove programs. uninstall QuickTime.
Next, we’ll manually remove any leftover program files and folders.
1. On the Start menu, click My Computer (or double-click My Computer on the Desktop).
2. In My Computer, open Local Disk.
3. Open Program Files.
4. Right-click on the QuickTime folder and click Delete from the shortcut menu.
5. Navigate to C:\Windows\system32\.
6. Remove the files QuickTime.qts and QuicktimeVR.qtx.
7. Restart your computer.
next, we'll get a fresh copy of QuickTime into your PC by doing a repair install of itunes.
switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the repair install.
go into Add/Remove and select itunes. click "Change" and then click "Repair".
if the repair install goes through okay, restart the PC and try launching itunes again. does it launch properly now?

BSP Extensions Book - example application

Hi all!
I have bought the Book "BSP Extensions: How to master Web reporting with HTMLB" and i've tried to run the example application. But on half the way of the programming (the next chapter is checkbox & radioButton) i'm getting a JScript error that says "childNodes.0.tagName is null or not an object" and it occurs every time i want to create the text of a new treenode by focusing the inputfield.
I've coded everything exactly like it is in the book so i don't know what's wrong. A little while ago i've searched the SDN forums for that case and found out that there is a SAP Note (949105) about it. After following the instructions and refreshing the cache the error still appeares. Does anyone read the book and faced the same problem?
(I'm Using the Trial Version of Netweaver 2004s ABAP.)

there are demo programs which are given by sap..first try it and then sort the error..
program names :
SBSPEXT_BSP
SBSPEXT_HTMLB
or
choose bsp application from se80 and search as SB*

I received the following error when i try to run the sample application "simpapp"
for tuxedo. I have set the ubbconfig file.
i could get tuxconfig file by using tmloadcf commmand.
for running the buildclient and buildserver it gives following error.do i have
to install any c compiler? if so pls. suggest me some good c compiler.

Application migrated from 11.1.2.3 to 12.1.2.0 fails to run in IntegratedWebLogic

Hi,
Can anyone help resolving the following problem.
We've been developing an ADF application with JDeveloper 11.1.2.3 and it works fine when run both with its IntegratedWebLogic or when deployed to a standalone Glassfish server.
We want to switch to JDeveloper 12.1.2.0. and use new UI components.
We are able to successfully open the application in JDeveloper 12c - the migration logs say it was successfully converted, all projects, pages, task flows, classes open and can be edited just fine. However the application fails to run with IntegratedWebLogic.
Application is using modules included via ADF shared libraries:
CommonUI.jar and CommonModel.jar -> included in ApplicationModule1 and ApplicationModule2.
Both ApplicationModule1 and ApplicationModule2 work fine when tested with IntegratedWebLogic.
They are in turn included in the MasterApplication as ApplicationModule1.jar and ApplicationModule2.jar.
However the MasterApplication (SLABAccountMaster) fails to run. It gets deployed, but there is an exception when accessing the first page: The UIViewRoot is null. Fatal exception during PhaseId: RESTORE_VIEW 1.

This is exactly what keeps happening to mine too. I was at a conference taking notes, and I was
using the Notebook template, and doing some audio recording simultaneously. About 3 hours into the conference (not consistently recording, but on and off with the sessions) my file wouldn't save anymore, saying something like "File cannot be modified while in use with another program" and "Invalid file name" when I would go back into my folder to look for it). I tried installing some updates from Microsoft, and when I restarted, I was at least able to open my old notes again, and so far it looks like the audio was working. However, today at the conference, the same thing happened again, but I wasn't actively recording any audio (though after I had copy and pasted my second file of notes into the original, I went back to using it after re-naming it).
Does the crash happen to you under similar cirucumstances? The update might help a little, but it is definitely not the solution. Does anyone have any solutions? Lion shouldn't be this buggy... I moved to Mac to get away from the garbage of bugs and compatibility issues...

Java "Application Failed to run" error in safari

I'm getting a " Application Failed to run" error on safari when trying to upload photos to facebook via the java uploader. I can't use the iphoto uploader for this particular page so that is not a solution.
I've uploaded photos plenty of times before but starting today, I get the following JAva Console message that I've deleted my user name from. Although I don't see anything here that indicates an erro, it is promted by an Error message that you click for details, which says the "The Application failed to run". Any thoughts on what I can do to correct this? I haven't changed anything since it's worked in the past and I've quit safari, restarted and ran disk utility.

This I guess is not a Safari problem since I got the same error in Firefox. How does one fix a Java problem occurring in at least two different browsers?

I'm on Mac OS 10.8.4. When I try to update InDesign CC to the latest version, the Adobe Application Manager launches and give me the following error:
Update Failed
Updates could not be applied
You are already running the Adobe Application Manager. Please close all instances of Adobe Application Manager before applying updates.
So, I quit the AAM, verify that it's not running in Activity Monitor and relaunch it... to get the same error message. I haven't found a solution online, so I'm hoping someone can help me get past this.

Rfahl have you tried rebooting and then applying the update again? If so, and you still receive the same error, then you may want to try installing the update in Safe Boot mode. You can find more details for starting up in Safe Boot at OS X Lion: Start up in safe mode - http://support.apple.com/kb/PH4373.

The above is the complete source file of the InterestClient which I have successfully run on JBoss-3.2.2 and ant-1.6.
Just make sure that all the required client jars of JBoss are passed in the classpath during compiling and running the InterestClient using ant.

Trying to run the example "rf record and playback reference application"

http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/5894 trying to run this example but a lot of files are not being found. I'm using Labview 8.5 with version 4 of the sound and vibration toolkit. I suspect the problem is the old toolkit version. Can someone confirm? Can't find any info on upgrading to toolkit so I suppose it would mean a new purchase? thanks

Hello Mike,
This example is designed for our RF Hardware platform. You need the RFSG driver, RFSA driver, Spectral Measurements Toolkit, Modulation Toolkit, and the advanced signal processing toolkit for the example to run. You should be able to see this under the software requirements at the bottom of the page. The two drivers should be available for download on our website, but the toolkits must be purchased and they aren't generally available with the dev suite.

Running the same application in different database table- giving error:

I m new to JSF, spring and Hibernate web application. I have done a web project using JSF, Hibernate and Spring. We have to maintain the Data records which is stored in mysql db. Now there are different table is there such as example Employee Details and Company Details. So we created two seperate application o tomacat, For both Application we use same functionality except the JSP FILE Name and table name (Which is changed according to Application).
In the employee.hbm.xml
I changed the table name according to application. Two table (Company Details & Employee Details)...
Now while running the application on the tomcat server, only one application is running at a time. if we start running the Employee Application, then Company Application is giving the below error,
Error in Log:
The resourse is already in used/busy.
Interesting thing is only one Application is running at a time and other is in stop status.
Could you please help us, how to overcome the error,
Is it not possible to run both the application on different browsers.
In logs the below error is showing:
java.lang.Exception: Socket bind failed: [730048] Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted.
Could you please give some idea to sort out the below issue.

I have set the context path to /tdm in the server.xml file. Should this be placed in context.xml?
My first page in the project is called Homepage.html. To start my project I give http://localhost:5050/tdm/homepage.html
in a browser. Here I accept a username and password from the user and then do the validation in
a valid.jsp file, where I connect to the database and check and use jsp:forward to go to next pages
accordingly. However when I enter the username and password and click Go in the homepage, nothing is
displayed on the next page. The URL in the browser says valid.jsp but a blank screen appears.
WHY DOES IT HAPPEN SO? DOES IT MEAN THAT TOMCAT IS NOT RECOGNIZING JAVA IN MY SYSTEM OR IS IT A PROBLEM
WITH THE DATABASE CONNECTION OR SOMETHING ELSE? I FEEL THAT TOMCAT IS NOT EXECUTING JSP COMMANDS?

I have set the context path to /tdm in the server.xml file. Should this be placed in context.xml?
My first page in the project is called Homepage.html. To start my project I give http://localhost:5050/tdm/homepage.html
in a browser. Here I accept a username and password from the user and then do the validation in
a valid.jsp file, where I connect to the database and check and use jsp:forward to go to next pages
accordingly. However when I enter the username and password and click Go in the homepage, nothing is
displayed on the next page. The URL in the browser says valid.jsp but a blank screen appears.
WHY DOES IT HAPPEN SO? DOES IT MEAN THAT TOMCAT IS NOT RECOGNIZING JAVA IN MY SYSTEM OR IS IT A PROBLEM
WITH THE DATABASE CONNECTION OR SOMETHING ELSE? I FEEL THAT TOMCAT IS NOT EXECUTING JSP COMMANDS?
IS IT POSSIBLE?WHY WILL THIS HAPPEN?
I set the JAVA_HOME and CATALINA_HOME environment to the jdk and tomcat folders resp.
Is there any other thing that I need to set in classpath? Should I have my project as a
WAR file in the webapps of TOMCAT or just a folder i.e. directory structure will fine?
