Appc error when upgrade from weblogic sp5 to sp6

I got an appc compilation error for an Entity Bean. It is exactly the same code. the generated xxxx__WebLogic_CMP_RDBMS.java compiles in weblogic8.1sp5. After upgrading to sp6, I got the following error for "cannot resolve symbol
symbol : method setStringForClob (int,java.lang.String)
location: interface oracle.jdbc.OraclePreparedStatement".
I checked the generated java code. addition code is generated on sp6 which reference to oracle.jdbc.OraclePreparedStatement.setStringForClob().
The databased used is oracle 9i. driver is oracle shipped ojdbc14.jar for 9i. If I change to 10g driver, it compiles of course. But we don't have plan to upgrade the driver.
Would someone help me find what is wrong.

Planning for Mobile Service Pack Upgrade from 2007 SP2 to SP6

Hello Mobile Gurus,
We are planning for upgrading mobile from 2007 SP2 to SP6. Can anyone of you guess a time line for achieving this?
I mean, how long will it take in dev env to upgrade commstation, mrs, mdw etc. apart from upgrading the field laptops?

had missed 5th point. ie Rollout to the client laptops . the amount of time it takes will be based on the kind of customization and kind of issues that you face in your application . etc.
Repostiroy upgrade from n to n+1 release will take approx 1-2 hours (with out additinal language) and it is correct.
I have given you the rough estimates so that you will get a fair idea how much time it is going to take.

Upgrade from Win 32 to X64 Configuration- HashTrailingSlash error.

We upgrading from VS2008 to VS2013. In our product we have 3 solution(.sln) files (for server, rep and client).
Server and rep migrated successfully to VS2013 with .vcxproj and filters files created
In client solution file we have some win32 configuartion projects and we successfully converted them into x64 configuration and .vcxproj files updates successfully.
I did checked in all .vcxproj, filters and .sln files into version control tool.
In another window machine which has build environment I did synced all the files and successfully build server and rep using respective .sln files.
But in client solution file many projects fails loading with the below error

Upon looking at MS support site and other sites which suggests not to have semicolon(;)in the path provided. But the other 2 solution files builds successfully with the same environment (paths) set. We
did tried building whole client solution, it’s failing with following error

Which kind of projects did you upgrade from the VS2008 to VS2013? Is it the simple VC++ console project or others?

Do you mean that you add the new configuration under Build->Configuration manager?

To make sure that whether you upgrade your solution successfully, please open your projects, and then clean and rebuild your whole solution in Solution Explorer windows using the VS2013, if you get any error messages or warning messages,
you have to resolve them one by one.

Do you mean that you use the TFS-version control? Anyway, my suggestion is that you would check whether you could build your project locally before you check in it with version control tool.

Cannot upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 - error message 0x80070003

I am not an expert.
I have followed all of the instructions that I have found, but remain unable to complete the (free) upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1.
The message I get is an error code: 0x80070003
I am using a Lenovo U510.
Would appreciate any help, I have been trying for months and can see no solution but to reset. However, would prefer to avoid that.

recently renewed in Windows 10 and the OS would hang before login screen. wheel spin and nothing happens.
so turn it off and start you pc with fingerprint sensor it helps me.

Hello , last ngiht I tried to upgrade my friends phone , right after I upgraded my 9700 perfectly on my computer, when I was upgrading my friends phone , I got prompted a screen that said something like " blackberry software needs to upgrade" , I ran the upgrade , and then tried again , then It started upgrading, like 5 mins after that , it prompted a screen that said " your device cant be recognized ", I clicked retry etc and nothing happened, when I disconected the device I got APP ERROR 200 , now It wont load and I am in trouble lol , can ayone help me ?

Problems while upgrading CE7.1 SP5 to SP6

for POC I installed a CE 7.1 Server. After installing it i tried to use the in the Composition Platform included VC. I've got errors as described in my other thread (here: Errors in VC after installation). Than I decided to upgrade the whole CE System. Hoping that the error may vanish. But I have problems upgrading the system. In fact the following packages throw errors. (Container ... is not active..):

Now, if i look at the Application "cafeugpexampletimeoff~def" it has the status "Failed to start". If I now start the service "caf/eu/gp/model", and start the named application again it starts fine. But during the deployment of the package GP-CORE the server-instance is restarted and the service "caf/eu/gp/model" doesn't start again automaticaly. And because of this the corresponding application canno't be started and the deployment doesn't work.
Has anyone an idea how to fix this?

Some additional Information:
Here are the errors according to the packages. If the package/application which is ment to be inactive IS active I wrote it behind the package name. The packages/applications which are not started can't start because of the in the post above descriped reason.

EX90 failed upgrade from 5.1.3 to 7.1.2

We have 2 EX90's and in an attempt to make them safe from shellshock I have been working on upgrading their system software. The first one updated with no issues. The 2nd one however, will not update to 7.1.2. It will get to the point of applying tasks on the and then upon reboot reports that the update failed.
I have tried resetting the device to factory defaults, still nothing.
Looking through the log files I can't see anything out of the ordinary, but I also don't really know what I should be looking for. I'd be glad to send any log files that would help diagnose this.
Has anyone had this issue before?

Try updating it with the touch panel disconnected. I've seen this work on a few EX90s. (The Touch will upgrade itself once it's reconnected following the upgrade).

Tiger upgrade from 10.2.8 - never got "ARchive and Install" option?

I selected the destination. Selected "customize" to add additional software to install. And then clicked whatever was next - sorry don't remember exact button name but it was the next step. AND THEN IT HAPPENED - the install. I noticed that it said "upgrade" for software under the custom install so at least something was recognized. BUT I wanted to select "archive and Install" and "Preserve Users and Network Settings". So am I now hosed? I guess I'll find out in about 10 minutes when its all done but I'm very confused / upset as I read EVERYTHING in advance to make sure this would go smoothly. So why didn't I get that screen as listed in the documentation? GRRRR

You should be OK. A&I is an option - why you did not see the option is a function of what you did - and neither of us have any way of determining that.
Run permission repair after the upgrade. Also, it would not hurt to run disk repair from yoru software install DVD.

Upgrade from CRM 4.0 sp6 to CRM 2007

We are in the process of upgrading our sandpit from CRM 4.0 sp 6 to CRM 2007 as part of an overall CRM upgrade project. The technical upgrade phase went fine we now have the sandpit running some of the standard delieved business roles etc. My question is with respect to my original customizing:
- what customizing/configuration needs to be redone
- what needs to be adjusted.
- what is no longer relevant
Is there any documentation out there that deals with addressing this topic. Can anyone share their experiences.
We have a number of different Web based interaction centers some dealing with order taking in place in our original installation.

The rule of thumb is the following:
- All UI based modifications/configurations/enhancements done in the lower release, must be redone in the new release. Classic example is you removed fields from a screen or added new fields. You also lose all your UI work done in CRM 40.
- All non-UI based config/development that is in the business layer of the system should be fine, and may need some minor adjustments, but you should be able to keep this. You probably though will have to redo some of your IC config as there were functional changes between releases. I don't think however you will find that the configuration adjustments to take a lot of time
- The old PCUI/IC webclient and SAP GUI applications(for data entry) are no longer relevant.

Failed upgrade from 10.5.8 (Leopard) to 10.6 (Snow Leopard)

I'm using a 17-inch iMac (specs below) and as fair a can tell it meets the system requirements for running snow leopard. The discs are fine and I've installed it on two other machines in the house, one which is minimum spec.
I've read other peoples posts, even one that had the same problem, but it wasn't resolved. Also I've attempting several installs and each time, it installs partially, gets to the part where it reboots to continue the installation and as soon as it hits the "33 minutes" it says install failed due to error, but gives no details about the error.
Can anyone help?

Why aren't you installing Snow Leopard directly instead of Leopard and then upgrading? Does it fail at the same place? Can you use one of your other Macs on which you have successfully installed Snow Leopard to install onto this computer?
BTW, installing a single-user copy of OS X on more than one computer at the same time is illegal.
