Failing to Receive Some Messages In Group Text

I have been group texting with a large number of phones and all of a sudden I stopped receiving all of the messages. Every now and then I receive a message but I think the phone is dropping alot of incoming messages. I do not receive an error message, and I have had this phone for several months. Please let me know if you have any experience with this or any answers!!!

I'm sorry you are having issues with your text messing wminami. I know how important this feature is. Have you tried to remove all long/old text threads? This may help because your phone may have low memory. Also clear the cache and browser history to help with your messaging issues. So as the title suggests Im having client problems installation problems on some machines.
Looking at a clients ccmsetup.log I have this throughout the log:

Im not familiar with that log, so im not sure if that's normal. But through troubleshooting I was looking at all my MP logs.
MPControl.log says "successfully performed management point availability check against local computer".
MP_RegistrationManager.log says "Registration hint is expired".
CCMValidateAuthHeaders failed (0x87d0029b) to validate headers for client 'GUID:FE2F4DCF-0C30-4765-9CB8-70603FD423BF'.
Im at a loss as to what is broken. no alerts are popping up in Sccm.

Thanks for the question. This can be done by viewing the contact info in Messages. Simply tap “Contact” in the top right corner, then tap the icon. This will bring up the contact card, and the number the message was sent to will be highlighted in blue.
View someone’s contact info in Messages.
To quickly view someone's contact info in Messages, tap Contact.
- Tap to call that person or to use FaceTime
- Tap to see the person’s complete contact info
If they're not already a contact, you can tap Create New Contact to add them.

This won't exactly be helpful, but my friend was having that problem too. After about a week she started receiving them again, out of the blue. I'm not quite sure what the problem is that's causing this, because she did absolutely nothing to solve it and it stopped and started to work all on its one :/

Receiving some messages on a grey lock screen.

i received a message which was really weird. My screen was locked, the background was grey, the text message was in the center and the name of the sender was missing. The only option was to press dismiss after which the message disappeared and I couldn't find it. I don't understand what is happening. Is this some kind of different messaging? Thanks in advance.

It is a lost iPhone. The message is sent through "Find my iPhone".
It may be caused by the following reasons:

I have had this issue for a while. Picture messages being sent or received most times will not work. Also text messages fail to send quite a few times and I usually have to resend it to get it to work. I have called verizon wireless about this before and they just had me do the roaming capability updates and did not fix the issue. If anyone has some insight into why this happens let me know.

Hello coltrain50411. I can understand your concern with the messages. This issue may be resolved by following the steps below:
- Power off the device and remove the battery
- Place the battery back in the device and power on
- Turned off auto add callback number in settings
- Dial *228 + Send and choose option 2

My sprint iphone5 will not receive pictures in a group text

I receive all other text, but when a picture is sent it does not come through.

Kin one not sending and receiving some of my text messages?

I've had my kin one for several months now (mine is used as a feature phone, no data package). I was having no problems up until now.
in the past week or so, I've noticed that I'm not getting some of my text messages. also, some people are not receiving some messages I send.
plus, when I send a message, normally it pops up right away in the thread, so I can read what I just sent. lately, it's not doing that anymore. if I want to read what I just sent, I have to back out to the main menu, and then go back to that contact's message thread to read it.
is anyone else having these issues? I wonder if they're going to get worse.....

In mail, messages are grouped into a subfile of the inbox

In mail, some messages are grouped from the inbox into a subfile of the inbox. How do I separate the messages to be part of inbox? How did they get into the subfile in the first place?

thanks for response. I am referring to inbox on ipad which shows list of messages. In the list of messages in the left column there is one message with a 4 in a shaded box. When I tap on that message, 4 other messages appear that are related responses. I prefer to have those 4 messages appear in the inbox. How did they get in the subfile and how do I get them to appear in the inbox?

TS2755 iMessage sometimes not received, when messages in Mac is active and iphone is not

Lately i didn't receive some messages only later to find them in my Mac's Messages application.
What i understand from this, is that if my iPhone suffers from temporary disconnectivity then the iMessage is still routed to the Mac,
but will never be pulled by the iphone .
If that is the case then when i am in an elevator or out of power , then the iMessage center
knows i have iMessage "on and active" and it will send it to my Mac and the iPhone will never be notified.

The iMessage and Facetime servers are down for the day. People have been having issues since this morning. I called Apple myself and they told me to just wait until this evening and try again but warned that could not be fixed until tomorrow.
Wait until then and see what happens. You can always call Apple and get a direct update if you still have issues and think it should be fixed.
