I updated to the 2.0 without any problem
A couple of days ago I had to erase the data to turn the PB to a new user
At the reboot this was the message of the OS: In order to complete the tablet configuration for your region additional files are requested
and a download of 341MB started
automatic trial of installation after the download
after a while, message: impossible to complete the installation
Update PlayBook OS Version 2.0.0.7971
Pushed button to restart (and loop)
retry installation , update OS versione 2.0.0.7971
a problem occourred during the installation, tuch retry or shut down to retry later

First I would like you to do a Back Up of your PlayBook using your computer and BlackBerry Desktop Software.
This can be downloaded for free from http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/
After the Back Up is complete I need you to unplug your PlayBook and then push and hold down the Power Button until the unit Force Powers Off.
Now, while Desktop Software is still open on your computer and the PlayBook Powered Off, Connect the PlayBook to your computer.
You should see and error screen from Desktop Software pop up that has the options to Retry, Update, or Cancel.
QUICKLY choose the Update option.
This will erase all the information off of your PlayBook and Re-Write the Software back onto it. Once it's complete your PlayBook will need to go back through the setup wizard, and you can then perform a restore using Desktop Software to return your information. The only thing that won't come back after the restore are the apps that you downloaded from App World but they can be easily Re-Installed using the My World feature in App World.

Then I run my example application, press standard "Save" button in Gantt chart control.
After that my XML in context changes, but it's incorrect. There is no <graph> tag at all - this tag should contain all significant parameters of the chart.

My macbook came with AirPort 6.0 and even after installing 5.6 it still says it's 6.0...
Yes, AirPort 6.0 is now considered a required system component and cannot be removed, however, if you installed 5.6 it is installed.
Most likely 5.6 is not the AirPort in your Dock. Look for it in your Utilities folder - it is specifically named AirPort Utility 5.6. You'll find it:
The two versions will peacefully coexist. -
Crystal Report (RDC) doesn't print correctly, after Printer change ?
There are problems with the page format and the color settings for the new printer !
It should be resolved with ADAPT01104291 FixPack3.8
Description: Crystal reports may not print properly after users change printers by using the SelectPrinter command from the Report Designer Component (RDC). The cause of the problem is that the incorrect DEVMODE structure size is allocated to the print job.

I can change the default windows printer settings but that has no effect on the RDC-Print ! So I think, there must be a solution by the Crystal-Report-Design-printing-DLL (craxdrt.dll) !

T006-Decan change after users have used the TO unit of measure
Currently in our system for TO (tonnes) it has T006-Andec as 3 and T006-Decan as 0 and it issues the users a warning message "Order quantity violates rounding rule" if they type in decimals in the purchase order quantity. We have been asked to change T006-Decan to a 3 and do away with the warning message. What happens if you change T006-Decan from 0 to 3 after users have already used the unit of measure (TO) in the R/3 SAP_APPL 470 system on materials, purchase orders, sales documents, receipts, etc...? I don't want to impact our users in production since I do not where this unit of measure has been used. Any advice is welcomed. Thank you.

If you are changing the decimal places in T006 - DECAN , the number which was 1000 would show as 1,000... so previously it was 1000 tonnes now it will show as 1 tonne.... such things happen....Check with SAP before doing changes to the Standard UOM's...
I am not able to find the correct SAP note for this.... but its there hope you get it

User profile corupts after password change
Hi,
I have a strange problem, that after a user change the password, the profile gets corrupt if he had a account on that pc (just loads saying welcome and that's it, we then delete the user profile and it's back to normal.
the only lead I have is that I think the password of the account those not update on the local PC
clients Windows 8.1

AD account getting locked out after password change in Jabber
When user changes his network credentials and does not update them in Jabber. Jabber will still try to connect to phone services and voicemail with the old credentials which is leading to their account getting locked in AD after three attempts.
We are using Jabber 9.6.1, so a fairly new version.

We are seeing a similar issue after the user has changed their AD password the account repeatedly gets locked out when they try to log into Jabber.
We are also using Cisco IM&P and our CUCM is LDAP synced

Admin permanent status gone after password change
Hi everyone.
a couple of days ago i decided to change my password as good safety measure. changed as usual, only getting a message about keychain and a possible need to do the change in it after unlocking. seemed pretty standard to me, don't know if it is. (6 month mac user...)
however, for some strange reason, afterwards the change, even if i am still an admin in the user accounts i have to identify myself with pass every time i need to do some change in admin areas, as changing the apps in the apps folder.
i seem to be working as a standard guest , needing to elevate my status every time i need to something standard as changing my apps or renaming them.
i've tried correcti the permissions in the disk utility and also tried to repair my keychain, without great sucess.
anyone knows how can i get my permanent admin status again? it's a pain to need to type a password every time i want to drag and drop an app!
Filevault is active on my home folder.

i haven't changed them before but i have found that if i had a admin group with read and write permissions i can have back my standard usage. however i don't know the implications of this and don't like treating the symptom, prefer instead to treat the cause

How to capture the user change in an input field on a selection screen?
I am coding a selection screen in which there are two input fields. The first field takes a Unix directory from the user input. Based on the input value, the second field will be populated with a the name of a file under the corresponding directory.
My question is how I can make the program capture the user input without having to make the user press ENTER after they enter the value in the first field?

Actually you led me to the real solution! It's the function module DYNP_VALUES_READ that does the trick for me. This function enables the program to capture dynamic user changes without recourse to PAI. Please refer to the code below:

OO ALV - How to highlight cell after value change
Hi All,
I have an OO ALV with an input enable column and would like to highlight a cell in a different color when the user changes it's value.
I am using pr_data_changed->get_cell_value to check the cells value has changed and pr_data_changed->modify_cell to update the cell with the new value.
The output table has a field called CELLCOLOR of type LVC_T_SCOL which I am using to highlight the cell in red:
lw_cellcolor-fname = 'THISFIELD' .
lw_cellcolor-color-col = '7'.
The ALV layout is also correclty set using: layout-ctab_fname = 'CELLCOLOR'
All the above is working fine and the changed cell is highlighted HOWEVER it only works if I call METHOD g_grid->refresh_table_display
Is there anyway to highlight the cell without calling method refresh_table_display??????
I do not like to call method refresh_table_display in an ALV event. The main reason is if a user changes a cells value and at the same time selects the row for update then the method refresh_table_display wipes out the row selection marker.
So Is there anyway to highlight the cell without calling method refresh_table_display??????

Posting to Accounting: Retroactive Posting after a change in the GL account
Hello all,
i would like to ask you about a problem that we face in a live system throught the integration HR-FI. We have already run live posting to accounting until the end of November. But, the client wants us to change the account of a wage type. We have created a new symbolic account because the new account is an expense account whereas the previous account was a balance sheet account. We have used also the user exit in RPCIPE00 as we have different employee groupings in our system. The problem is that when we run posting to accounting for December and there is retroactive calculation the system debit/credit again the old wage type again without having results in December for this wage type.
Customizing :
01.2010-11.2010 DEBIT : X1(BALANCE SHEET)
CREDIT: Z1
122010-12.9999 DEBIT : X2(EXPENSE ACCOUNT)
CREDIT: Z1
Example:
11.2010 -> Payroll calculation for WT01:100 EUROS. Posting of this WT01: Debit : X1 (100EUROS) Account ,Credit : Z1 Account ((100EUROS)
12.2010 -> Retroactive calculation for november for other wage types. Not WT01. But in the posting to accounting for WT01 there is debit/credit. Note: After 01.12 we have the change in the posting customizing of this WT01.
DEBIT CREDIT
X1 (100EUROS)
Z1 (100EUROS) (100EUROS)
X2 (100EUROS)
How can i stop the retroactive posting that takes place after the change? This wage type WT01 SHOULD NOT be posted in December.

IN Z1 account i have no problem as the result is zeroed. According to the customer, they should not have these amounts in X1,X2 accounts as there is no retro-calculation for this specific WType.

"Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password" even with correct Credentials
I have networked PCs before many times successfully, so this is not my first time trying to network PCs in a home environment. Though I’m wondering if Windows 8.1 is part of the problem.
I would have thought that for sure, until one of the new laptops running W8.1 would not connect to any of the other three PCs/Laptops running W8.1. Yet these other three W8.1 PCs/Laptops CAN connect to this laptop. Then it gets a little more interesting:
this same laptop that couldn’t connect to those three W8.1 PCs/Laptops, CAN connect to a Windows 7 desktop, and a XP Laptop, and those two can also connect back to it without issue. It’s almost like my network is divided in half, and only half can talk to
each other. But then when I thought it couldn’t get any more interesting, I realized the first three W8.1 PCs/Laptops can talk to the others, it’s just that the others (W8.1 Laptop, W7 Desktop, XP Laptop) can’t talk back to them without getting the error,
"Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password” even though the username and password are 100% correct.
I don’t fully understand this error, because on the surface, it’s just WRONG!
My username and password are correct, but it appears something somewhere is interfering or hijacking the authentication process. Three of the computers (laptops) are brand new, just purchased last week and setup this week. The HostPC is also fairly new,
just purchased last month.
I am not using a HomeGroup, and have removed all computers that were part of a HomeGroup. I have enabled file sharing and network discovery and enabled “Use user accounts and passwords to connect to other computers” on all PCs.
I have DSL and am using the wireless modem provided by my ISP which has router functionality built into it. It is a Sagemcom Model: F@ST 1704N.
All computers are connected wirelessly. Time is correct on all PCs. I cannot use Group Policy, since they're all Standard or Home edition. DHCP is enabled and all computers are on the same subnet, using the 192.168.254.x range of ip addresses.
The six computers are as follows: (I figured this may make is easier to visualize the layout)

Every PC stated above has the same user name and password and is logged-in with the username, DrsBlend and the password 123456. The "Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password” happens when trying to access HostPC, PC1, or PC2 from PC3, PC4, or
PC5.
The HostPC can see and connect to all the PCs, but only PC1 and PC2 can talk back or access the HostPC.
It’s like the HostPC and PC1, and PC2 are in their own little clique, and can talk back and forth to each other. Those three PCs can also talk to PC3, PC4, and PC5 as well, but PC3, PC4, and PC5 cannot talk back to them (HostPC, PC1, PC2).
Profile corruption? I would have entertained that thought, but the fact the first three PCs can access and talk to one another kind of defeats that idea, and the fact the PCs were just recently setup.
Firewall? Disabled, and disabled TrendMicro with no change. With them on/off, the first three PCs can still talk to each other and the rest of the PCs.

How did you connect to other PCs? Do you use RDP to connect to other PCs? If so, check the version of the RDP, as I know, some low version RDP can't connect to higher Windows like 8.1.
And could you please tell us the detailed information about how the six PCs connect to the home network?
Can PC1, PC2, PC3 ping back to host PC, PC1 and PC2?
You can also run command " rundll32.exe keymgr.dll, KRShowKeyMgr " view the credentials stored in your PC,check whether this issue is related with some old credentials stored in your system.

SQL connection errors when stress testing mobile service: SQL failure after 3 attempts
I have created a Mobile Service (node.js), which has been running for a few months with 50-100k api calls per day with no issues.
The usage of the service will be scaled up soon, and it will receive much higher traffic, so I am running stress tests (on a staging deployment of the same service).
The api in question queries data from the sql database that is attached to the mobile service, but caches the resulting data in a redis database for 5 minutes, so each call with identical parameters will not access the SQL database, just the redis cache.
My first test never has any problems:
Run a single api calls as fast as possible using the program wrk (https://github.com/wg/wrk). This test never has a problem, and I have run it an hour continuously with a sustained rate of 200 req/s and very few timeout errors.
The second test always causes problems:
I created a list of 5 different api calls to the same service (same endpoint, but different parameters), and I run those randomly interweaved as fast as possible. I use the program locust (http://locust.io) for this, spawing 10.000 clients at a rate of 500
per second. For the first few seconds everything goes ok, but then connections start failing massively.
I get mostly:
Error: SQL failure after 3 attempts. Error: [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0]TCP Provider: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected
host has failed to respond.
(SqlState: 08001, Code: 10060)
And I see this in the http response:
ConnectionError(ProtocolError('Connection aborted.', gaierror(8, 'nodename nor servname provided, or not known')),)
The strange thing is that since I am running the same five calls repeatedly, only the very first of each call will actually access the sql database, every subsequent call will just return data directly from redis, and not try to access the sql database at
all.
In the azure console for the sql database in question, I see 1860 successful connections and 11 failed connections, which does not explain the massive failure rate I am seeing.Thanks for sharing your tips on this forum, as it will be useful for other users, that run into this issue.
Feedback like this will also help us improve error reporting in the next release, as missing class files in the packaged application is a common issue when developers are moving from the embeded oc4j instance packaged with JDewveloper to standalone instances.
