Failure installation Photoshop Extended Mastercollection cs6

This concerns a problem in which when I have installed cs6 mastercollection, that I don't get the Photoshop Extended version but the normal PS version. However on the imac I didn't get this problem and it installed with the extended version of PS.
Now I had tested the beta version of photoshop on my macbook and I think after I deinstalled that program, that there is still some residuel data of that program present on my macbook. How do I get rid of this data or do you have another solution so that I will get the extended version!

Loststar86 please start by checking the system requirements for Photoshop Extended at http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopextended/tech-specs.html.  If you are using a Macbook in particular please ensure it is OpenGL 2.0 capable.  Most Macbooks used an integrated graphics card thus they would not meet the minimum requirements to use the Extended functions.  This would be why you do not see Photoshop CS6 Extended launching.

    I've been scanning the internet for any help on this matter to no avail. I bought a copy of CS6 Design Standard a while ago and have now bought a copy of CS6 Master Suite, as I wanted the extended version of Photoshop as well as After Effects etc... I uninstalled my previous CS6 (standard) and reinstalled CS6 (master). The problem is, I'm not getting any 3D options in Photoshop, which should be included if it's the extended version. I've typed out some text that I wanted to be 3D & the 3D button at the top is missing. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but I've looked at every tutorial that I can find, but none explain why I would be missing the 3D options in Photoshop (extended).
    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Uninstalling is not necessarily going to deactivate the software from using your old serial number.
    It might be as simple as going into the Help menu, chosing Deactivate..., then closing everything down, restarting Photoshop, and entering your new serial number.
    The Standard and Extended software is one and the same, it only runs differently depending on the serial number entered.

    There is no specific version labeled as "Extended"... there is only the one version called Photoshop which has the extended features enabled based on the serial number that is used to activate it... so just download Photoshop CS6.

  • No Photoshop Extended Option During Installation

    I recently downloaded Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended and during installation on my windows 8 (i just newly installed it just to try), the only options for installation is Photoshop (64 bit) and Photoshop (32 bit)..
    I installed Photoshop (64 bit) as trial then after intallation there's no 3D menu and its not photoshop extended..
    I download again and im pretty much I have downloaded Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended but when i install it, its just the same no photoshop extended option or its not the extended version rather..
    By the way my system Specs is:
    Windows 8 (64 bit)
    AMD A8 2.9 Ghz w AMD RADEON 6550
    4 GB memory
    and i sure its a 3D capable..

    Offline installers? Not sure what that means...Do you mean the install disks?
    Did you enter your serial #?

  • Photoshop Extended CS6 Crashes Instantly with no Error Report (Vid Inside)

    Hello,
    I have a single user license for Photoshop Extended CS6 and have never had problems with it until now.  Yesterday I installed the Creative Cloud package and a trial version of Adobe Premiere Pro and since then I have had an issue with Photoshop CS6.  I have uninstalled all Adobe Products on the machine and reinstalled PS Extended but still have the same issue.  I have attached a video where you will see what happens.  I open the program and after a couple of seconds it closes by itself with no warning or error message after.  I did notice however that if I open a menu (in the video the help menu then System Info) the program will remain open until I close said window.  I have tried uninstalling, system restore and the cleaning tool recommended by Adobe.  I'm not sure what else to do at this point.  Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    When trying to update the option is unavailable in the program itself
    I uninstalled all Adobe products as that was recommended in another thread and reinstalled it from this location Download CS6 products
    I download File 1 (of 2) and that is the PS CS6 download that accepts my serial number but then continues to close instantly.
    After downloading File 2 (of 2), called Photoshop_13_LS16.exe, I attempt to open it and receive this error message:
    I have managed to manually install update 13.0.1.3 as it was the latest version I could find on the site Adobe - Photoshop : For Windows
    Even with that it still crashes instantly.

    それはうまくいきました。
    更にそのあと、Adobeのアップデイトをかけたのですが、すべてエラーが出ました。
    アップデイトをする必要はないのでしょうか？
    アップデイトをしなくても、OSのWindows8.1に何か悪い影響をあたえることはありませんか？
    アップデイトの必要があるのであれば、それを成功させる手順を教えていただけませんでしょうか？
    ちなみに、私の使用しているｿﾌﾄは学生版で、CDを使って再導入。
    マイクロソフトのサポート・センターの方にやっていただきました。
    アップデイトがきちんとされないのが気にかかるようです。
    古いまま使っていたために、Windows8.1に悪い影響を与えてシステムがダメになるということはありませんか？

    自動更新の通知は受け取ったことがないような気がします。
    そこで、お薦めされている手動による更新を行ってみました。
    ソフトウエア側からのAdobe Photoshop CS6 を起動し、ヘルプ＞アップデート。
    Adobe Application Manager の Adobe Photoshop CS6 以下に表示されるすべてのアップデートを２～３回ほど試みましたがエラーメッセージがでます。エラーコードは下記の通りです：

    Dreamweaver CS6 (12.0.3)  U44MIU5

    のみをすればよろしいのでしょうか？
    それとも

    Ver. 12.0.2 クリティカルな問題の修正（2012/9/27）
    と順番にdownloadしていった後、2012/12/12の修正版downloadをすべきなのでしょうか？

  • Adobe Photoshop Extended CS6 vs Adobe Photoshop CC - Licensing Issue

    Hi.
    Allow me to explain my situation.
    I had a company logo, which needed to be saved as a .TIF Uncompressed (Baseline 6.0) for use in SAP.
    I tried all the software I could get my hands on, which could save as .TIF, but when importing into SAP, it displayed "Erroneous file format".
    I then asked a friend who is a graphic designer, to take the same logo, put it into Photoshop, and then Save it as a .TIF (Uncompressed), this method worked when importing the file into SAP.  He however used Photoshop Extended CS6.
    Seeing, that everything we tried, ONLY Photoshop Extended CS6 was able to export the correct version of .TIF needed in SAP, I started looking around to purchase the software for business use, but found that the product is now EOL, and everyone I asked, tried to sell me Adobe Photoshop CC.  I then asked the same friend, who also has CC, to do the same with the image, and when I tried to import it into SAP, it failed with "Erroneous File Format" again, meaning that there is a difference in the .TIF version between CS6 and CC, using the exact same export settings.
    Now my question, where can I still get a legit copy of Photoshop Extended CS6 for official business use?

Now it is asking us to register and wants a 19 digit "product code" before continuing with the resistration. The retailer claims it is the serial number but the registration utility will not accept that. The Adobe account is showing no registered products. Can this be fixed?

    I have used Photoshop cs6 since two years without any problem. Yesterday, when trying to open it, a message appeared : "Internal problem in photoshop (code 16). Please reinstall photoshop.
    So did I. But now, when I try to open photoshop, a window appears with photoshop extended proposing to go to the net for subsciption. I say no, the window closes an that's all.
    I never susscribed to adobe extended programs and do neither have photoshop extended in my program list nor in the registery base.

    Thank you.  That solved that problem.  I still can't get Windows 7 to associate TIF files to Photoshop.  It's associated to it in Bridge, but when I try in Windows control panel, the file shows as being associated to Paint.  When I try to change it, Photoshop is not even on the list of available programs.  When I Browse to the directory and click Photoshop.exe, nothing happens. The association doesn't change and Photoshop does not appear as a choice.  So I have no idea what to try next.

    What do you consider a sensible price?  PS CS6 extended is available only when you purchase the CS6 Suite, which is around $1000 for the upgrade from CS5.  PS 6, which is not extended, is about $200, but I'm not sure about upgrading to a single app from a suite.  Adobe used to allow it, but I'm not sure about now.  PS CC and Lightroom 5 combo is $9.99 a month or PS CC alone for $19.99 or the whole CC suite for $29 a month.  The latest CC apps are "extended."
