Everytime I try to open Firefox this message appears and is removed only upon a reboot. Firefox will not start. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox several times with no change of result.

Just tried it twice booting from the internal. Along the lines I see two or three things that say failed but it keeps moving and other things succeed. Eventually it exits verbose mode on its own and goes to the plain blue screen. I get a movable pointer but it never gets passed the blue screen.

Did you try to eboot the your PC or laptop where your device is connected ?
I experienced this with my windows laptop, after a failed to do an update, I restart the laptop and my Torch, then retried, and it's worked

Some component eat my F8 key

Hello,
I've got the problem with some component in my app.
In menu bar I've got accelerators for F5, F6, F7, F8. what is funny F5 and F7 works, but F6 and F8 are eaten by some component.
I've seen similar problems on Forum (with i.e. Ctrl-C issue)
One solution is to clear ActionMap for components and their parents, but i've got nothing from getActionMap() (i mean no bindings) for component (JSplitPane) which for 100% do something on F8 pressed.
Second fix is to make global handlind, but i'd avoidit.
How to find that component? What so spcial with F8 or F6/

Some component with an unsupported version is trying to use NI Spy

This problem is intermittent. In GPIB Configuration, Network settings, when I select the IP address of GPIB ENET/100, I get this NI Spy message: Some component with an unsupported version is trying to use NI Spy. Please contact National Instruments for an update. Do I need to update the firmware of GPIB/ENET100? The current version is B.9.

Hello,
Try uninstalling 488.2 driver, then uninstall MAX and then reinstall the 2.1 version for 488.2 from CurrentGPIB driver versions. Also make sure you are the administrator while you uninstall and reinstall.
I have not seen this problem happen before so I hope uninstalling and reinstalling helps solve this problem.

ESS - don't use some componants

Hi,
I have installed ESS into the portal and the application works fine.
I can navigate into ESS application, create travel requests etc ...
But ESS application is too complete. I would like to hide some ESS componants (by example the "Employee Search" part).
Is there a way to do this without developping ? A portal configuration or a configuration into the Spro of R3 ?

I pressed the right button of the mouse with the control key, but nothing happens. Do I have well done all the steps ?

In fact, what I want to do (Into the overview iview) is to keep only the functionnalities "Working time" and "Travel and Expenses". I want to suppress all the other functionnalities (Employee Search, Benefits and Payment, Career and Job, Purchasing ...).
Is there a way to do this without developping ? I also looked at the IView properties, but I have not found any properties to use in this way.

CS6 installation failure for some applications

Windows 7.
After the installation process was complete I was notified that some of the applications failed to install:
Ps; Ai; Fl; Id.
An error list was provided with many cryptic reasons for failure, such as:
ERROR: DF037: Unable to delete directory "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw". Error 145 The directory is not empty.(Seq 956)
These are interesting, no doubt, but useless for helping me to solve the problems.
My question is: how can I get Adobe to help me with what seems to be an inadequate installation process?

Screen failure, need some technical information

I have the lenovo y510p sli version. Last night while browsing the internet, the screen suddenly went black (the pc did not shut down, just the screen), and I got a burnt metallic smell. I turned off the laptop and removed the battery. I went to test it after the fact, the pc boots, however the led screen seems to not be backlit now. I can see the lenovo logo slightly if I angle it right, but it as if there is no "backlighting" on the screen. I know for a fact it is not a software issue. I ordered a replacement led screen. My question is whether the entire led controller board is built into the led assembly, or if there is a separate control for the screen that is built into the motherboard that may have caused the failure.

DVD drive failure on some DVD brands

Hello,
I've been using Taiou Yuden DVD-R's for a while on my late 2009 Mac mini (Pioneer DVD-RW DVRTS08).
Now suddenly they fail to burn (Toast Titanium 11.1) with errors like:
The drive reported an error:
Sense Key = HARDWARE ERROR (or MEDIUM ERROR)
Sense Code = 0x44, 0xD9 (or 0x0C)
INTERNAL TARGET FAILURE (or WRITE ERROR)
The drive reported an error:
Sense Key = ILLEGAL REQUEST
Sense Code = 0x21, 0x02
BUFFER UNDERRUN
Previously burned Taiou Yuden DVDs also fail to mount (the Mac mini spits them out or the drive unsuccessfully tries to read them and the only escape is to reboot with the mouse down so the DVD is ejected).
But _TDK_ DVDs burn and mount just OK. Also CDs mount OK.
The offending Taiou Yuden DVDs mount and burn OK on my old 2004 PowerBook as well as on a newer 2010 MacBook.
I have Reset PMU/SMC and the PRAM, verified the boot disk, repaired permissions, and cleaned the DVD drive with compressed air.
I suspect the DVD drive's laser is failing so it can't burn or read Taiou Yuden DVDs while it still can manage TDK DVDs. Could that be correct?

Fortunately, even if this doesn't work, an external drive is a fairly inexpensive option to work around your possibly failing internal optical drive.

TREX search failure for some pdf documents

Hi,
TREX search is not getting correct result for some pdf documents. It's not able read the content of some pdf documents. When we search with file name the search result is correct but we are getting "No document excerpt available" message in search result for this file name.
Let me know where might be the problem for those pdf docs.

1. Can you tell me whether the pdf documents are opening when you are selecting them?
2. This error comes mostly when you havent included this .extn file (.pdf in your case) to the portal.
3. Check whether this extn is their in your portal if not make it inclueded and then try making a new index and one new data source where your pdf is residing. Try for one Test.
You have to include the file extns in System Confi....UI Interface...

I can not make delta load for some component of public sector management

I´am using these three data source 0PU_IS_PS_31, 0PU_IS_PS_32 and 0PU_IS_PS_42 and I realize that I can not make delta loads. When I make the full load everything is correct even when I made the delta, the problem is that the Delta load is not extracting any new data or changed data.
Do you have any idea to fix this issue?

As u have already tried the delta load,I assume that u have already done the init load too.As system will not allow u to do delta load without doing an init load first.
The first datasource u talked about..31..it needs new records created in table FMIOI table.
What happens is..if u run a delta load immediately after an init load,there might not be new or changed records created in the system..therefore there arent any records in the delta queue.
Could u try creating some commitment document transaction data,so that records get added in FMIOI table.Then see if the delta queue for this datasource shows any records.

Note that for 42 datasource..page says that delta update is not supported(though it does talk about updating delta queue).
For 32 datasource source tables are FMIFIIT and FMIFIHD.
For 42 datasource table is FMBDP.

iPhone 5 two of my contacts cannot receive text messages from my phone! Message send failure. All others are fine cant work out why, updated phone, reset phone also and nothing!!!! Tried with wifi off and on looked at all settings can't see anything amiss! Any ideas???

Hyperlinks cannot be configured to use "onclick" for javascript - causes failure in some browsers

When you tell Muse a hyperlink points to a javascript function it uses a direct href to invoke it rather than using the "onclick" attribute. Although there are philosophical debates about which is better, they should both do the same thing. i.e.
<a href="#" onclick="javascript:window.open('http://www.google.com','','scrollbars=yes,width=720,height=700')">onclick</a>
<a href="javascript:window.open('http://www.google.com','','scrollbars=yes,width=720,height=700')">href</a>
- should do the same thing, and open a separate window to display the content.
Trouble is, for some of the most popular browsers, they don't. In Chrome, they both do the same thing, but In IE8, and Firefox 24.x they don't. The href version opens a popup OK, but the original window goes blank. It probably varies between browsers and versions (and the correct behaviour is that it should work), but the bottom line is that the onclick method works all the time.
IT would be ideal if you could choose if the hyperlink uses onclick or href to call the javascript, perhaps in the same submenu that lets you select opening in a new window.

I have some videos from youtube to be used in the classroom. I downloaded them from my pc but I cannot see them in the mac because I get messages saying that I need some quicktime components. Is there any way of seiing AVI files? Or do you know the components I need?

Load, unload some component from some container

I want to make something like this.....
So when I click one of the tree component ( the leaf ) or maybe other action, in component ( right of the tree, maybe jpanel ), the gui loads jtextarea, but when I click other component of the tree ( other leaf ), the gui unloads the jtextarea, and loads jlabel.
How do I achieve that? The first thing comes to my mind is using card layout..... But this is my gui main area. I don't feel comfortable using card layout for gui main area.

I have a third party swing application. I am trying to invoke it from my application by calling its main() method using reflection and it works!
Then I try to attach the mouseMotionListener to its components using reflection but cannot succeed. Is it possible to do that?? If yes then how?

You shouldn't need reflection for this. Assuming it's a JFrame, JDialog or JWindow (any RootPaneConatiner), just call getContentPane() and recursively iterate through its children, adding MouseListeners along the way (or wherever you find a component of a type you're interested in, for example ignore things like JPanels, JLabels, etc.).
FYI - you also shouldn't need reflection to call an application's main() method, assuming you already know what the class is that contains that main() method.
