Failure to Authorize

I have a new pc running on vista. I imported my library from an external hard drive and can only play some of the songs and it wont transfer those I cannot play to my iphone. It keeps asking for authorization and when I type in my data it says my new computer is authoirized and when I go to play the song, the unauthorized screen comes up again. I am losing my my mind. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the newest itunes and that does not appear to work either. Help please.

Failure to authorize third party plug-ins with 7.1.1

I am running 10.4.2 on a new g5. I just upgraded to 7.1.1 from 7.0.1 and I get multiple crashes on the authorization of the plug-ins.
I got the message
"the application auval quit unexpectedly" numerous times.
I also got another message about missing a required software extension. Something about enginelibcarbon.
Any thoughts? Thanks for the help in advance.

Well, in order to upgrade to 7.1.1 you need to upgrade to 7.1 first. You cannot upgrade directly from 7.0.1.
Also, after you do the proper upgrade, you may want to repair your disk permissions with Disk Utility immediately following.

Failure to Authorize Coby Kyros Tablet

I am having trouble authorizing my Coby 7015 Tablet. When I open up ADE and connect the tablet via USB it recognizes it (the Aldiko program) on screen but when I go to authorize it on the device, it gives me "Failed to Authorize". I checked the username and password and they allow me access to the Adobe website. Oddly when I disconnect the tablet from the computer, it then recognizes the device, but then prompts me to enter a password, which I assume is the same password needed to login, but it tells me the password entered is incorrect.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Authorization Error ( -42408 ) for iTunes / iPod

suddenly, itunes invalidated purchased tunes on ipod at the time of sync due to the use of unauthorized computer, which i've been using past years and synced the same ipod almost everyday.
then, i tried to authorize my computer by typing in UserID and password for itunes store. Then a popup displays the failure of authorization due to the unknown error (-42408).
the process below was repeated for 4 times to eliminate any possibility of human error... i repreated itunes > store > authorize computer. the password and id were confirmed to be correct by logging onto itunes store account.
the only special condition would be that the last time, i used ipod until complete exhaustion of its battery charge. nothing changed other than this. ipod was manually rebooted during the attempt to correct the above-mentioned problem. i'm completely lost about why it's happening and how to fix this...

The trick was to log out and log in from the account. (i was using the admin account whole time so it's like re-log in. )
by doing that, iTunes didn't even prompt me to authorize at all.

Can't play my videos! Help!

In iTunes, I try to play any of my video files, all of which were purchased from iTunes on this account, and most of which were downloaded onto this computer. (I had transferred some files from my desktop to my laptop, but they've all played successfully in the past.) When I try to play the video file, the authorization window pops up telling me this computer is not authorized, and asking for my account info to authorize. I do this, and it reports a successful authorization after contacting the iTunes store. Then the window freezes in place and I cannot click the 'OK' button to dismiss the dialog. In the background, behind iTunes, the Player window opens up with a dialog informing me that the computer is not authorized to play the file and asks for my account info again. I provide this, and it says it is attempting to contact iTunes. It fails to contact iTunes, tells me to install iTunes to play the file, and leaves me with a gray player window with no sound playing, and the progress bar progressing as though it were playing. I switch back to iTunes, and can now press the 'OK' button on the 'Authorization Successful' dialog box. If I try again, the same problem repeats.
· I haven't changed accounts.
· I have verified that the account info I use to verify purchases matches the info included in the ‘get info’ dialog on the files.
· I purchased and downloaded all of these videos on this account and most of them on this computer.
· I have verified that my account settings in the iTunes Store lists all the videos I’m trying to play.
· I am using an admin account on my computer, and I’ve tried running the application as admin.
· I’ve tried running iTunes in compatibility mode with XP.
· I’ve deleted the library files and recreated them.
· I deleted the ‘SC’ folder and rebooted the computer and tried again.
· I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and QuickTime, using a fresh download from the Apple.com website.
· I spent hours on the phone with the apple care tech support.
· I submitted an email to the iTunes store support, which referred me to an article that showed me some of these steps that didn’t work.
Nothing helps. I suspect there's an issue with the QuickTime player window that is called from iTunes because after iTunes reports a successful authorization, the QuickTime player reports a failure to authorize, asks for my authorization username and password, and tries to contact iTunes, which it fails to do every time, even though iTunes is running at the same time.

I am not at all savvy when it comes my iPod. But, I have been able to get much help here. Now please be patient with me on this one. I want to have music videos on my iPod. When I go into iTunes, I have three which I can play i Tunes, but have not idea how to get them into the iPod. What do I do??

Web Service Function Permissions

Hi,
I am a fusion edge application developer and new to web service security.
I have a basic question about how I can set up functional security for a web service.
Our team has several simple web services, and I need to secure them by the privileges of the users.
One of our service has two policies defined: wss_username_token_service_policy (global) and binding_permission_authorization_policy (local).
I was expecting binding_permission_authorization_policy will check the user's privileges, which are defined in jazn-data.xml.
However, when I enable binding_permission_authorization_policy, all the users get "failure in authorization" error, and when I disable it, all the users are able to run the service successfully.
I must be missing something basic.
Would someone kindly help me how I can solve this issue?
The steps I followed:
1. In Jdeveloper, I defined WSFunction Permission in jazn-data.xml. As result, “TransactionServiceAMService#*” is granted to PAS_CREATE_TRANSACTION_WEB_SERVICE_DUTY.
2. PAS_CREATE_TRANSACTION_WEB_SERVICE_DUTY is allowed EDR_COMPLIANCE_BUSINESS_ANALYST_JOB, which is an Enterprise Role.
3. I deployed the change to the server.
4. In WLS, EDR_COMPLIANCE_BUSINESS_ANALYST_JOB is assigned to the user "Compliance Business Analyst".
5. In EM, two policies have been attached to TransactionServices: wss_username_token_service_policy (global) and binding_permission_authorization_policy (local).
6. I bounced the server.
7. I invoked the web service by using the user "Compliance Business Analyst".
8. "failure in authorization" error was received.
9. I disabled binding_permission_authorization_policy, bounced the server, and then invoked the web service again as "Compliance Business Analyst".
10. The service was completed successfully (it created a transaction record.)
11. Invoked the same service by using another user, who does not have EDR_COMPLIANCE_BUSINESS_ANALYST_JOB assigned.
12. The service was still completed successfully, which is wrong.

I can't log in my Adobe account from my android tablet

Hi everyone,
Today I got my Adobe ID in order to be able to use Adobe Digital Editions to read a recently purchased ebook. It works perfectly fine on my laptop but when I try to open the ebook on my android tablet, Im required to log in on my Adobe account, which I'm unable to do and the message "Failure to authorize the device" keeps popping up.
What can I do?

Android tablets generally are not supported by ADE. So, 'drag and drop' -
the usual way to transfer ebooks - doesn't work.
Let me assume that you registered with Adobe and THEN downloaded and
installed ADE on your computer. If that's correct, then
I'd suggest an alternative approach:
Download your ebooks to your computer. ADE will handle this just fine.
Then, shut down ADE.
Attach your Android device to your computer and use your computer utility
software to transfer the ebooks you downloaded to the Android device.
Then, detach your Android device.
Open your Android device and manipulate the transferred ebooks with the
device's ereading capabilities.

Is HDMI Output have HDCP on all the time?

I have an older HD TV. It does not have an HDMI input only DVI and it cannot decode HDCP signals. I have an HDMI to DVI adapter and when some programming turns on my HDCP on my DirecTV DVR I cannot watch the program through DVI. Does anyone know if all of Apple TV2 HDMI output has HDCP enabled all the time?
If that is the case Apple will have a lot of unhappy people that buy their HDMI to DVI cable to connect their TV, as very few DVI TV support HDCP.

Yahoo email not syncing with Nokia messaging - Pre...

I have been using nokia messaging beta version for approximately 3 weeks and it has worked perfectly for all my e-mail Yahoo and Gmail. As of yesterday my Yahoo (free) e-mail stopped syncing e-mails. I went to the website email.nokia.com and checked my password but I receive the following message when trying to update the password: "Unable to connect with the password provided. Please try again.". Please note I have not changed my password I was only trying make sure everything was correct.
My Gmail seems to still work but no Yahoo. I have gone as far as deleting all my accounts on the phone and deleting Nokia email software via the app installer and reinstalled NOkia email. The phone synced my accounts setting them up and syncing all the messages up until yesterday which is exactly when it stopped working. I'm at a loss at this point. I'm also unable to delete the yahoo account on email.nokia.com website since its my default acct. Any ideas??
Could it be a yahoo issue? Anybody else have this issue?

I have been using the Nokia email client on my E90 for the last few days. Today Yahoo mail started giving me a problem. Whenever I send an email I am getting a Delivery Status Notification (failure)
535 authorization failes (#5.7.0)
I went in to my email.nokia account just to re-enter the password for my yahoo account, and now I even that is throwing the following error “Unable to connect with the password provided. Please try again.”
Is there some problem connecting to Yahoo?
I am able to log on to this yahoo account on my PC and send and recieve mails without any issue.

This is really bad. I have tried and installed Nokia Email countless times. But it refuses to sync, I don’t even receive error messages. I have even tried to log on to emai.nokia.com to check and reset my account settings.
Solution for now; I have installed Profimail, it works like a dream. Downside is that it does not sync my Gmail contacts and I think the Nokia interface looks better.
I will continue to keep an eye on any new patches/versions of Nokia Email but as of today, this software should never have been allowed to graduate. Let alone even thinking of charging people for it.

Ipayment setup issue R12

Hi,
I am working on oracle ipayment process in istore(Auth), OM(Auth) and AR (Fund capture) process.
For that i had created one payee,payment system and mapped with my organization.
But i can't able to do remittance or fund capture process because the ipayment is not called during the Fund capture process.
My ipayment payee setup is working authorization process but this setup not working for capture process.
I got the following error during the fund capture process:
If i do the remittance process it shows following error "Authorization of credit card transaction failed.COMMUNICATION_ER ROR: () Capture of credit card transaction failed. :"
Is there any ipayment or payee setup needed to be done for remittance(Fund capture) process in r12 ?

ASR BNG - %ROUTING-FIB-3-PD_FAIL

Hello guys,
I am a rookie with BNG and PPPoE.
After I have configured everything (I think) for PPPoE connections and after the laptop has connected to the BNG I saw this message, and packet forwarding was not working. Please see attached config of ASR9001. For now I am skipping the authentication because I want first to solve this issue.
I will try now to reload, and if it does not help I will upgrade from 4.3.0 to 4.3.1!

or you can use the attribute formatting in a c style mode:

although you use the authorize command to sed this username to the radius, nad if it will return an accept, this means the dhcp transaction will complete and the sub will get everything applied whichever the radius accept returns.
but the internal state is called unauthenticated for BNG, because we have no user username or password.
authorize uses a predefined password based on some circuit info. no user info really.
Most providers would like to get something from teh user like a pass and uname to get the user specific profiles
but this is truly optional.

[SOLVED]vlock endless loop hangs shutdown

Recently my i86_64 system has been hanging on shutdown, the boot partition needing checking on restart (no errors reported). After waiting over ten minutes for shutdown to complete, it's still hung. CTL·ALT·DEL has no effect.
Running a debug shell (F9) also hangs when console (F1) freezes during shutdown.
"sync && poweroff -f " avoids the hang but the boot partitions still requires checking.
If I run "sudo umount /dev/sdf1 " (/boot) then "sudo sync && sudo reboot -f " the system shuts down and reboots without requiring file-system check.
"lsof " shows no open files on /boot/…
No serial console available.
What could be causing this..? & are they separate issues..?
This system boots with grub, has been around a long time, survived the switch to systemd and survived a major hardware upgrade.

After upgrading to systemd-208, the debug console(F9) now works. Shutdown hangs running vclock. The error message from journalctl -f is
vlock[528]: pam_unix(vclock:auth): auth could not identify password for [..user..]
which continues until system is killed by hardware reboot.
I have compared /etc/pam.d/ to one from a properly behaving i686 laptop, and could see no differences, but my knowledge of PAM in very limited.
I'm running XFCE4 and run Xfce automatically using the xorg-xinit method at Start X at Login combining with Automatic login to virtual console

vlock (recently moved into kbd) locks virtual consoles. I presume opening XFCE at boot without password uses it.

I believe this locks virtual console/terminal #1 (Alt-F1) in which to run X.
I presume systemd tries to unlock this locked virtual console as a part of shutdown, and stumbles in authorization, then continues ad infinitum. If so, two failures indicated; authorization (PAM), and systemd allowing the unlimited loop with failure.

In any case, I'm working struggling with that theory. Curious as to why systemd-204-3-x86_64 had no problem with this while systemd-207-3-x86_64, systemd-207-5-x86_64, and systemd-208-1-x86_64 do.

Verizon email on Android phone

Recently, the Verizon email on my phone resets itslef and says that I have not read emails when I have. It appears as though I have new messages, but when I go in to view them on my phone, it is old messages showing up as Unread (aka New).
Upon logging in via the web access on a pc, those messages are "Read". Why does the email on the phone continue to reset and mark messages as unread? This happens multiple times in one day.

I was heading to a store this weekend as my Verizon email settings keep get refected for a failure to authorize. I just downloaded the app and can now get my emails but it's not as convenient as just hitting the email icon. Did the rep say when or if this was going to be fixed or is there a way to show your email as an icon from the Fios app itself?
