Failure to provide a serial code

This post is an attempt to attract someone from Adobe to help as every time i call, live chat or e-mail i receive nothing but empty promises and incompetence.
Well over a month ago (34 days since i opened this case) i requested a serial code for Student and teacher Photoshop elements. After chasing this more than anybody should need to i was given the a serial code for the wrong version. after more chasing i was (for the 4th time) promised a resolution within 24/48 hours, it has now been 168 hours.
I could understand if this was a complex issue but alas it is just requesting a serial number. i know it can be done in 30mins as i was given the incorrect one in that time. All the information has been provided accurately when requested. i even resubmitted the information twice through the edu-verify site and had both cases closed with no resolution or explanation.
I am having a very hard time justifying why my employer should purchase volume copies if single copies provided so much hassle. I will be avoiding adobe in the future and have been disgusted with the lack of support and complete lack of accountability in trying to get issues resolved.
Does anybody else have these issues with adobe (lack) of customer support? or know where or who to contact to try to get this resolved?

Normally you would get a serial number when you purchase the software. Which version are you asking about?

Adobe Illustrator CS5 Setup Mistake (Clicked on "provide a serial number")

Hi everyone,
The instructions for installing Adobe Illustrator CS5 told me to to chose the option "Install this product as a trial" instead of "Provide a serial number" when I get to the "Enter a Serial Number" step. I don't know why I was so stupid I clicked on "Provide a serial number" and entered the code. After that, it said that it was invalid, but I was able to open Adobe Illustrator only two times until it made me get a 30 day trial. My mom bought it for me, though...
How do I fix this mistake? I don't want my mom to have to pay for another Adobe Illustrator....for now I'll just install the trial.

Serial code not working

So my serial codes i got from my uni are not working. they supply the cs5 design premium free to its students. i dont want to pay for it since everyone else gets it supplied to them. what can i do to fix it? i dont have a phone to phone the company...

How do you expect anyone here to help you? Do you expect us to give you valid CS5 Design Premium serial numbers?
These forums are not Adobe Customer Support. And CS5 is no longer sold by Adobe.
If your university is providing licenses as part of a bulk, education licensing program, then speak with those folks in your university who gave you the serial number that doesn't work. They are the only ones who can assist you.

so basically i lost my ipod at school
i was careless and it fell out of my pocket
i checked lost and found but who would return an ipod video?
there's no way that i can use the serial number to make it so that if anyone else tries to register it then they can't?
or is there any help i can get from using the serial code on my ipod box?
i'm not expecting to get it back so i'm just hoping that whoever took it can't use it

Apple cannot disable your iPod through the serial number and don't provide such a service. Even if someone does find it they don't need to register it to use it. The best thing you can do is inform your school and possibly your local police. If you have the serial number make sure that's you have that quoted in the report. If your iPod was registered with Apple when you first got it, that will assist in returning it to you should it ever be recovered: How to report lost or stolen Apple product?

Serial Code Issue

I purchased a full version of Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended about a year and a half ago. I loaded it on my laptop just fine. However, following a HD crash, it's asking me for an upgrade check. I used the file just fine previously. How do I fix this issue?

Your post is entitled "Serial Code Issue" but you make no mention of that in your posting. You should provide the complete message that the software is providing to help make your problem clearer.
If the message is indicating you need to provide a serial number to confirm upgrade eligibility it means you purchased CS4 as an upgrade to a preceding version and you need the serial number from that preceding version in order to confirm the eligibility of the new CS4 version.

Serial Code Aperture update

With this new update, Aperture asks for the serial code again.
Although I have an original copy of Aperture with serial code, it does not work any more.
What should I do ??
Apple should be more careful in releasing updates. Every time I choose to make an update, I have some problem later !! Every time. This is something they will not be able to change later. When leopard asks if I want to make the update, my unconscious says NO. Thats exactly what happened to Windows Vista. They are loosing because of this: people unconscious is powerful. Please Apple. By now solve this problem. And then, think twice before releasing an update. If you see my posts here in the forum, most of my problems started after an update.

I have a similar problem. I have a valid purchased serial number which works fine with Aperture but when I try to update to 2.1.1 the update package says that I don't have Aperture 2.0 or higher. I followed instructions on the support page for serial numbers issues in pro apps and removed the Id file in Library/Application Support/ProApps and Aperture 2 asked for the serial number on launch and I provided it and it was happy with it and I can use 2.1 just fine. I just cannot update to 2.1.1.
How do I contact Apple about it? I don't have AppleCare.

I deactivated my student edition of CS6 Design and Web Premium, go to activate it on my new computer and serial code is invalid.

I downloaded the design and web premium, and entered a serial code to start it as the full version. However, after the install, it asked me for my serial code again. I entered it, and it didn't work. I tried registering my serial code on the adobe site, and it says it's invalid. My school gave it to me last year and it worked fine on my old computer. In that time, creative cloud came out and trials stopped being available as they were before. How I got it before was installing the trial, then activating it with my code. I have a PC and am running windows 7. My laptop is old and really just not up for the games I play or designing anymore, so I built a desktop. Successfully deactivated it, why can't I get it on my new computer? I am able to open the software as a trial, but I want to activate it. The error message I get in-program is "this serial number is not valid for adobe indesign/photoshop/illustrator CC 2014." Any suggestions?

if you're being asked for two serial numbers, you're probably using an upgrade serial number at the first prompt and the second prompt is probably for the serial number of a previous version.

Lightroom 5 defaulted to my Trial version. Can you please advise on what I did wrong? I can provide the serial number for the purchased subscription.

History - I had a 30 day trial version of Lightroom back in October. One small catalog of 1500 photos were contained in it. When I was prompted to upgrade, I incorrectly selected the option to "choose a different catalog" which prevented me from seeing my recent photos in Lightroom 5. It appears that my version of Lightroom may be a trial version instead of the version for my subscription purchase. Can you please help me with this? I will be glad to provide the serial number as necessary.

I purchased CS6 last year and installed it fine. Now when trying to open Photoshop it says I need to license my software or continue my trial. The problem is first off it wasn't a trial and second, I can not get my serial code again. How can I get my serial code with my product code? I have spoken to someone in chat and they said to send an e-mail to identit-e which I have done, but have not got a response yet.

If you registered your software when you first installed it then your serial number should be available thru your Adobe account online. If you have not otherwise retained it somewhere then your only recourse is to contact Adobe support thru chat.

- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have to iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.
