Failure to registered in blackberry network

Hi,
I have a Q10 SQN-3 and use Korean KT 3G network with data plan.
Today i restore the device system with blackberry link. Now the device OS is 10.2.0.1767.
Here is how i try to register to blackberry network for BIS and BBM:
Setting -> About -> three dots (right below) -> register blackberry
Now the problem came like this:
When i insert sim card
3G open, Wifi close -> can't register
3G close, Wifi open -> can't register
3G open, Wifi open -> can't register
When i take out the sim card
Wifi open -> can't register
Wifi open, VPN open (USA IP address) -> CAN register and BBM working
Could you tell me how this happen and how to solve?
I want to use bb service under 3G and wifi. Without register in the blackberry network, i can''t use.
Thanks!
Solved!

Likely because you don't have the correct data plan provisioned to your account.

  • Failure to download via blackberry App World

I am failin to download applications using App World.before I cld bt suddenly I can't.I can even download latest facebook upgrade! It says FACEBOOK NOT AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD ON APP WORLD.I deleted and reinstalled APP WORLD bt no success.am using bb curve 8520 wit v5.0 software

    Hi there!
I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB):
    1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
    2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
After you've done that, I next suggest that you clear the AppWorld application cache:
    1. Open App World
    2. Go to My World
3a. For keyboard-based BB's -- Hold down the ALT key and then press, in sequence R, then S, then T
3b. For Storm/Pearl -- Hold the num-lock (!?123) button so it locks and then press, in sequence 3, then 4, then (
    4. If your BB locks after issuing the cache clear, perform a battery pull reboot
    5. Return to AppWorld. Log into MyWorld (if applicable) and try again.
Hopefully it'll work for you! Good luck and let us know!

  • Problem registering on wireless network

I am unable to register on wireless network as and when I go to advance system setting's host routing table and try to register,it only shows registration message sent but doesn't actually registered.

Based on the OP's words, I would guess that they have already done this. Hence, if the registration is never received, the next step is to contact the mobile service provider for formal support. After all, it is their network with which the device is having trouble communicating.
    Good luck!

  • Windows XP-Why do I get a message saying Error: Failure to Register?

I have tried and tried to install the latest version of flash player, it will say downloading all the way up to 100%. Then it will give me an error message saying Error: Failed to Register. I have went through all the trouble shooting steps on the adobe site, but I still get the message. I think it is installing because I uninstalled the previous version but I will go to add/remove programs and it shows it there, but even though it's installed it will not work because of the failure to register. Does anyone know why it does this or what I can do to get it registered? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Above is what it showed. Is that what you needed? When I try to download flashplayer I hit the download button on the first page, it seems like they wouldn't have something there that's not yet ready to be downloaded, but I'm sure you can tell I don't know alot about this. It's just really aggravating when I'm trying to look at something and it says that I need the latest version of flashplayer and it says get it here. So I click on that icon and when I try to install it I get that message. I'm about ready to pull my hair out. LOL

    Hi Rose411,
This sentence "When I tried to download the latest version the instructions said to remove all prior versions from the computer and I did that so I'm really not sure." tells me you are trying to download/install the Flash Player 10.1 beta version of the player, from labs.adobe.com, which is still in development.  Unless you have some compelling reason to install the beta version (for testing purposes, etc), you should install the released Flash Player 10 from get.adobe.com/flashplayer.
However, to fix the 'failure to register' error and enable you to install the release version of the Player, please do the following:
    1. Download the FP 10.1 beta uninstaller from http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/flashplayer10/flashplayer10_1_p3_uninstaller_02231 0.exe and save it to your desktop  (this uninstall file is posted at http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html).
    2. Launch the cmd-window
2a. in XP, click Start > Run and type: cmd, then click OK
    3. In the command window, change directories to the location where you saved the file in step 1. For example, if you saved it to the desktop, at the prompt type: cd Desktop.
    4. Be sure you have ALL browser windows closed, including any application that may use the Flash Player ActiveX control (i.e. Yahoo Instant Messenger, etc). This will ensure that the player is properly removed.
    5. After changing directories, type: flashplayer10_1_p3_uninstaller_022310.exe -force
    6. The uninstaller will launch.  Follow the prompts to uninstall.
After you run the uninstaller, launch Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash and post back here what files, if any, are listed in the directory.
    Thank you.

  • SQL Developer: Failure -Test failed: IO Error: Network Adapter No Conn

SQL Developer: Failure -Test failed: IO Error: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
    Hi,
and sorry this is a really common questions and yes I did do a search, but I don't understand it.
First let me just tell you that Oracle 11g is installed on my second laptop on the same Network.
Secondly I can connect to the Database using Oracle SQL Developer on the laptop Oracle 11g is installed on.
The problem is I want to connect to the database on my main Laptop.
I put in the correct details Hostname 192.168.0.8 ( this is the laptop oracle is installed and running on)
    Port 1521
    SID dbarudu
****** YES I HAVE PORT FORWARDED
****** YES I HAVE ALLOWED 1521 on the FIREWALL
****** YES I HAVE EVEN SWITCHED OFF THE FIREWALL
Now one more thing you should know ... I don't know nothing about Oracle Servers ok.... so I have just installed Oracle 11g Enterprise and thought done it should be working now.
I just need to use oracle db for a project.
So keep in mind I am a total noob and terms like TNSPING etc mean absolutely nothing to me.
So please help, but help with step by step guide on how to get Oracle to let me have access from another computer.

If the Listener is working, then you should not get the error SQL-Developer error you are reporting.
The listener typically runs using the hostname and port 1521. This means it opens tcp port 1521 on all IP addresses of that platform.
The database server by default will register itself with the local listener. Thus the listener will know the database SID, the database services, whether there are dispatchers to support shared server connections and so on.
The client side needs simply to specify 3 pieces of data to connect:
    - the IP of the database server
    - the tcp port of the listener
    - a database identifier (such as Oracle SID or service name) to connect to
    It is really that simple.
If this does not work, the problem falls into 2 broad categories:
    a) incorrect installation and configuration of the Oracle software (the out-of-the-box install works unless messed up)
    b) some kind of networking issue
To troubleshoot any problem means reducing the complexity of the problem, eliminating multiple moving parts and focusing on specific ones, in order to isolate the problem.
For your problem, this will go something as follows:
    - does the listener run? (check if the service is running and whether tcp connections are accepted on the listener port - telnet can be used for the latter)
    - does the database successfully registers itself with the listener? (check the services command of the listener and relevant db initialisation parameters)
    - does a local TNS (tcp network) connection work on that server? (use SQL*Plus and test on that platform client-server connectivity via tcp to the listener)
    - does the client platform have connectivity with the server platform? (use ICMP and telnet to test)
    - repeat the TNS test on the client platform using the same working TNS tested on the server platform
Do not use JDBC to test the connection - keep it simple and use sqlplus and the standard Oracle Call Interface (OCI). A full client version of the OCI plus sqlplus can be downloaded under the Oracle InstantClient downloads.
Finally - if you expect to simply install and use Oracle, then use the correct version. Oracle Express Edition aka Oracle XE. Installs and works out-of-the-box. The only manual config change to make is (as far as I recall) to run the listener on all IP addresses of that platform. And this required editing the listener.ora file, changing the HOST parameter and restarting the listener.
Also keep in mind that you have not presented an Oracle error code and Oracle error message. But a client application error message. And that message is pretty much meaningless - it does not point to a specific Oracle networking or Oracle server problem. To diagnose that, we expect a TNS or ORA error number.

  • How to register a blackberry with the appropriate service provider ?

    Hello,
I've just bought a Pearl 8100. I've inserted my SIM card and the phone is working ok. However I can not send or receive any email and can't access the net. When I bought it, I was told to contact my service provider (Orange - UK) to get the phone set up. That's what I did and I was directed to a web site (w3.blackberry.orange.co.uk) where you have first to register as new user by giving your PIN and IMEI. However I haven't been able to complete the task as a message popped up saying that the phone was already registered with a different service provider and that I had to re-register it with the appropriate one. I personnally never registered the phone before but basically that's what I have to do so I need some help because I have no idea how to do that... Thanks....

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
You will need to contact your carrier for assistance. Be sure that you have an adequate service plan from them to enable your access to their BIS. Be sure that they can properly register your BB into their BIS. If you obtained your BB second hand, it is quite possible that the prior owner did not release the PIN from the Orange BIS...in which case your new carrier won't be able to create a BIS account for you on their network. And, typically, only the owner of the account (at Orange) will be able to convince Orange to release the PIN from their BIS...
    Good luck!

  • Unlocked torch wont go on Blackberry network

I have a Torch 9800 that was on the Telus network and had unlocked. I used it briefly on Att go phone plan without Blackberry services. While on a business trip to Canada switched it to Virgin mobile prepaid plan all my Blackberry services worked just fine. Returned to the States and decided to bite the bullet and lock it onto a plan with Att now I dont have any of my blackberry services called them up made sure it was on a Blackberry data plan (it wasnt) added Blackberry Data restarted the device but still no Blackberry services (no 4 dots after 3G) Att says they cant do anything because of it being another carriers phone. Im thinking about downloading the software from Blackberrys website for the Att torch 9800 just wondering if theres another easier fix or if the software will even work or maybe brick up my phone. Thanks

But, ATT does provide service for BlackBerry Internet Service, regardless of where you bought the device.
So, you need to ask them the SPECIFIC question I posed above.
Is the IMEI and PIN of the device registered on your account?
If not, is there an error they see when adding it?
Confirm they have the BlackBerry BIS Data Plan on your account.

  • How to identify and delete objects after failure of registering XML schema

    Hi,
I have tried to register a XML schema with many global elements but failed.
I have checked the view DBA_XML_SCHEMA and found that there is an entry for this failed XML schema and the disk spaces would not be freed after the failure of registration as well.
I have tried DBMS_XMLSCHEMA.deleteSchema() with DELETE_CASCADE_FORCE but failed with ORA-31000: Resource is not XDB document.
How can I identify and delete the objects for this failed XML schema and free up the disk space ?
I would not prefer to use 'DROP USER ... CASCADE' since there are other objects owned by this user.
    Thanks in advance.

you can get them from user_objects.
but you have to identify them manuallly if your schema has other objects other then created by the xml schema creation process.
Note these objects will be cases senistitive. so you should enclose them with double quotes during deletion.

  • Side loaded eyefi and blackberry network

Ok, I have an Eyefi card for my camera and hooked up on my Q5, and it mostly works well. Sadly, Eyefi has no desire to support Blackberry users (and there are a lot of us) with an app so this has to be side loaded. What happens to me sometimes is the little "B" between my signals top screen disappears and cuts off my BBM, net access etc, rendering me useless until I reboot my phone. As I work media a 3 min reboot is sometimes not desirable. I hate Android and loathe iPhones so I need to know what I should do about this? When the system works it works well but the network crashing at the worst times is killing me

It helps when you properly configure the server. I apologize, but I had inadvertantly forgotten to call the Remote.config(...) code in the server (somehow it had gotten commented out). After fixing this it works fine.
    Sorry.
