Failure while scheduling publications with CR in BO XI3.1

We have installed BO XI3.1 on windows server 2003 R2 SP2, with weblogic 9.2 application server and have configure to SSO for windows AD users. While scheduling publications it throws up the following error, however this error is not consistent, it happens once in 3 days.

The SIA, all server, including the windows server was re-started, but this error still pops up.

We are seeing alot of these - using the 'retry' option when scheduling gets the Publication to finish successfully - the log however is full of these messages.
Did you discover anything further Ranjit?

    I have tried creating New Job serer and Adaptive Processing server but it did not help.

    i am having some similar issue .. sounds like in my case when we reschedule the poublication using another server
    so one of the reason as below seems to be the good one:
    Cause
    Processing failed for a document within a publication. Causes for processing failure include undefined parameters, misconfigured database connections, or the publisher having insufficient rights to certain objects or folders.
    Action
    Schedule the document alone and ensure that it runs successfully. Apply the same configuration settings to the source document inside the publication

    This error messgae occurs when the 'Edit Objects' right is missing for the published reports.
    These are the rights required to schedule a publication :
    1. Login to CMC with Enterprise Administrative account
    2. Navigate to Users and Groups >> Top-level security >> All Users
    3. Add the required group/user facing the issue > Advanced > Add/Remove rights > General
    4. Grant View objects and Subscribe to objects
    5. Navigate to the folder where publication is there > User Security
    6. Add/Remove Rights > At General level grant following rights:
    - Schedule on behalf of other users
    - Modify the rights users have to objects
    - Edit objects
    - Copy objects to another folder
    - Schedule document to run
    - Schedule to destinations

    You are probably installing on a hardened machine.
    The "installation guide" says that if you are doing so, you need to create a file named libx11.so.4 and update your LD_LIBRARY_PATH (see http://docs.iplanet.com/docs/manuals/messaging/ims52/ig/unix/overview.htm)but:
    1- the library name is libX11.so.4 and
    2- for jre a common file is not enough, you need to install SUNWxwplt at least. This will install the library on /usr/openwin/lib.
    You can check the results running <server-root>/bin/base/jre/bin/jre

    We tried to schedule it as a remote process chain from some other system it cancelled the job there with an ERROR_MESSAGE. We checked the RFC Connections at the source system side but it is working properly. We then tried to schedule the chain manually, we had this exception. Then we tried to have a look at previous logs of the process chain. It had this exception. We tried to reactivate the chain it was successful but when tried to schedule the chain same issue again. We tried to run the Meta chains under the same chain separately. They too gave us the same exception.

    What's your SP? Are you having any master data updates left unattended? Check the Master data objects, check the flows. Related SAP Notes : 914304 / Check 967202(SP10) and 998673(SP11), 1157796, 763203 and 615389

    Hi All,
    I have a publication with a webi report in it as source document. I schedule it and mention e-mail as destination giving placeholder %SI_VIEWER_URL% in message body.
    After the successful schedule I get a notification with a opendocument url (generated beacuse of %SI_VIEWER_URL%), but when I click on that and provide the user name and password ,I get the following message:
    Account information not recognized: Failed while trying to log on user <user name>. RFC error: "USER_OR_PASSWORD_INCORRECT"
    It is really a strange error because I provide here the same credentials that I had used while creating publication.
    Could anybody suggest the reason behind it. Please note that we have SAP authentication enabled in our BO environment and this link that is coming in email just takes the user to infoview login page having "Username" and "Password" fields in it. There is no box to specify authentication type there.
    Is there a way which help us to show authentication type while clicking on the url or any other workaround for this. Please suggest.
    I had posted the request in BOB first but could not get any reply there.

    yes this is the Problem. The default Authentication for the openDoc Application is SAP after installing the SAP IT. Navigate to
    <BO_INSTALL_DIR>\Tomcat55\webapps\OpenDocument\WEB-INF
    and edit the File "web.xml"
    You find there the Entry

         <!-- secEnterprise, secLDAP, secWinAD, secSAPR3 -->
         <context-param>
             <param-name>opendoc.authentication.default</param-name>
             <param-value>secSAPR3</param-value>

    Edit it to

         </context-param>
    Restart Tomcat and you should be fine !

    OS is Server 2012 R2 Essential 
    I use a dedicated HDD for backups. Its a WD GREEN 3TB. 
    Any suggestions?

    Try to back up to local drive to check if the issue still exists? The issue could be the backup set was corrupted. You could refer to the thread below to troubleshoot the issue:

  • Error message FBE60013 when scheduling publication

    In BOXI 3.1 I've a publication including 62 e-mail recipients. When I run this publication as the user who created the publication, the schedules runs successfully and all 62 recipients receive an instance. However, when I run this publication as another user (who is member of the group Administrators), the schedule fails with the following error:
    2009-08-27 09:11:01,173 ERROR [PublishingService:HandlerPool-47] BusinessObjects_PublicationAdminErrorLog_Instance_72800 - [Publication ID # 72800] - Distribution to destination CrystalEnterprise.Smtp (To: xxx) failed. Recipient: bosklo01, Document Scope: 05. Ontbrekende weekstaten : 72844 (Excel) : (AND (IN_LIST Teamnummer "070205" )). (FBE60013)
    As a result, only 30 of the 62 recipients receive their instance.
    Any ideas?

    I am having similar issue...trying scheduling the publication to burst to 2 users and it works ok for 1 user but not the other.
    I am getting "Object failed to run due to an error while processing on the Job Server. (FBE60013)" error.

  • Error while scheduling VerifyDB in DB13

    Hi,
    I am facing an error while scheduling VerifyDB through DB13 in my SAP ECC 6.0 system. This problem is occuring in the entire landscape(Dev, Quality & Prod) after i did an oracle upgrade from 10.1.0.4 to 10.2.0.2. The error is as below:
    BR1301W Error message from likeywlib:
    ===...could not load SSF library libsapsecu.so .
    BR1301W Error message from likeywlib: likey_init: Couldn't load SAPSECULIB ("libsapsecu.so") using function SsfSupInit (), rc = 10.
    BR1302E Initialization of license key library likeywlib failed, return code 1
    BR0602E No valid SAP license found - please contact SAP
    I also checked the note 912969 which gives the below solution:
    The error is corrected in BRSPACE 7.00 patch 10
    But the BRSPACE is already on a higher patchset (18). Patch 10 is already applied.
    Can somebody please guide me on this.

       the error is exactly the same.
    The database is Oracle 10.2.0.2 and the backup is performed with a mix of BRtools and Legato.

  • Error while scheduling through web service

    We have created Web service through WSDL of OBI Publisher. Also we created a web service proxy client to call the services offered by OBI Publisher. We actually want to  "Automate the Scheduling of Reports" according to our requirement:
    1. We used to schedule the reports manually by giving the parameters(used to populate data in reports) and other fields like select report name, report destination, format of reports ( .pdf, .docx,etc) through Oracle BI Publisher.
    2. As there are thousands of permutations of report input parameters possible, so it is difficult to schedule them manually. 
    3.We also want to schedule report to a particular folder according to some parameter, for the ease of the user visibility.
    Above requirements are not currently available with Oracle BI Publisher.
    We are getting error while scheduling through ScheduleRequest class.
    The client.java is as follows:

  • Start of cycle date is not taking while scheduling

    I have created a maintainance plan with scheduling indicator TIME and scheduling period 365 days . I am giving start of cycle date as 04-02-2011 but while scheduling the plan it is taking 19-02-2011 as first plan date . my maintainance plan cycle is 15 days.
    I want that date as 04-02-2011 . how can I get that.

    The system is working fine. Once you decide the start cycle date then first plan /Order will come only after the cycle duration from the start cycle date. You can put 15 day before date from 4-2-2011. then you will get first call on desired date.

  • Error in modifying Schedule Agreement with reference to contract

    I have created a Schedule Agreement with reference to a contract manually.The contract is of type MK, while the SA is of type LP.
    The contract contains one Material which was successfully added to the SA.
    Now I am trying to automate the same using BAPI BAPI_SAG_CHANGE. This causes a short dump in the system -
    Runtime Errors       MOVE_CAST_ERROR
    Exception              CX_SY_MOVE_CAST_ERROR
    Short text              Dynamic type conflict when assigning references
    Error analysis
        An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
        The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_MOVE_CAST_ERROR', was not caught in procedure "GET_CREQS" "(METHOD)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause. Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the exception would occur, the current program is terminated. The reason for the exception is: It was tried to assign a reference to a rereference variable using the
        'CAST' operation ('?=' or 'MOVE ?TO'). However, the current content of the source variable does not fit into the target variable.

    Information on where terminated:

The termination is caused because exception "CX_SY_MOVE_CAST_ERROR" occurred in procedure "GET_CREQS" "(METHOD)", but it was neither handled locally nor declared in the RAISING clause of its signature. The procedure is in program "SAPLMEOUT "; its source code begins in line 101 of the (Include program "LMEOUTP2F ".
    The following data was populated before calling the BAPI:(along with itemx table also)

    The entire logic consists of updating the contract first with a new line item and then adding a line item in SA with reference to the new item in the contract.
    The contract updation is working correctly [BAPI_CONTRACT_CHANGE].

  • FTP Delivery Destination Not visible while scheduling a report.

    Hi All,
    We are implementing BI Publisher 11g (As part of OBIEE 11g).
    In BI Pub administration we have defined FTP and Email Delivery Destinations.
    But while Scheduling a report, under Destinations we see only Email option, we are not seeing FTP option.
    Is this happening due to any of the missing configuration or any privileges are missing?, please clarify.

    Do you have "Use Secure FTP" checked?
    I tried adding a source with that checked and the FTP option didn't show up either, but when I unchecked that box I was able to see the FTP option.

                I am having this problem while Scheduling data in QA. I tried activating Infosource in se38 with program rs_transtru_activate_all but still i am getting the below error, can anyone let me know why is this happening....

    DataSource ZFAB_BILLINGCALC does not have the same status as the source
    system in the Business Information Warehouse.
    The time stamp in the source system is 10/06/2006 09:33:40 .
    The time stamp in the BW system is 08/09/2006 15:52:25 .
    System response
    The load process has been terminated.
    Procedure
    Copy the DataSource again and then activate the transfer rules that
    belong to it. You have to activate the transfer rules in every case,
    even if they are still active after the DataSource has been copied.

    I also got the similar error (time stamp)
    Try this.
    Replicate data source
    Activate transfer structure in source system. For this
    you navigate from source system tab---> your data source --> context menu --> display data source in source and then come back. It will activate the transfer structure in source. ( I dont know exact procedure but this worked for me many times)
    I  think this is sufficient.
    If this not works include this step also Use the program for activating transfer structure in BW.
