I received a mail from Adobe telling me in the title that "New benefits added to your Creative Cloud membership". In the mail I could read "What's new for you in Creative Cloud" and I was promted to download Muse and other titles.
The problem is that I only have CC for Photoshop. The download link in the mail only pointed me to a page where I could download a trial version. Not the full version as was indicated in the mail title. This is not what I call "New benefits added".
Adobe, please only send information that is relevant to my membership in CC! As described in the mail I really belived that you have added features to my account. I was very surprised to see that is was nothing more than an ad for trial versions.

The 2.2 update was definitely slow in getting started (possibly delayed due to a change in build, IE they fixed a few bugs or other issues), but it is rolling out right now. You clearly aren't among the first people to get it, but that doesn't mean your phone won't get the update.
Perhaps you could post a link to this reputable site that has reliable information that the Droid is not getting Froyo?

My iphone is already here: it's the e61. I don't think this device, rightly lauded everywhere else, gets enough praise in the U.S. But it needs a companion. In December, I started to look for a bluetooth headset. I narrowed my search to Nokia BH-800 and BH-900. And there begins my run-in with an aftermarket product - and what kind of support I received from the marketplace, including Nokia. Almost every company carps about "after market" products, aka fakes. We are told that billions are lost because of "after market" products, mainly from China. Tiffany even made a public issue of it with ebay. So how much do companies really care about fakes - and attempts by consumers to expose them? I'm starting to wonder. I have had to jump through incredible hoops to a) prove a "BH-800" fake, which I conclusively did and have been reporting my progress to both ebay and Nokia; b) get any kind of refund, in this case from PayPal, which has agreed with my claim but continues to demand things of me within deadlines that frankly stun me; and c) nothing has been done with the seller - he's still on business on ebay. It appears to be all in vain. This is how it all happened: In December, I bought a BH-800 from a Hong Kong-based seller on ebay with, at the time, great feedback. The package arrived. It looked original. There was no warranty card and the manual looked suspect, I thought, but maybe that was an Asian version - all would be forgiven if the product itself was the real thing. Sure enough, the product charged. It paired with my e61. Then, within 15 minutes it started to beep: low battery. I tried to recharge the unit. No luck. The red light wouldn't even come on. I e-mailed the seller. He promised quick action and asked to me keep trying to charge the headset. No luck. I e-mailed him again. No response. I e-mailed again, no response. This is where my ire kicked in, as both a Nokia user and a Nokia shareholder. I reported my experience with the headset and the lack of Seller communication to PayPal - and filed a claim for refund. Online, I read about Nokia's efforts to shut down fakes. I thought, great: they can be like Tiffany, aggressively fighting the after-markets. So I e-mailed Nokia Customer Service, which, to its credit, asked me to send them the item number and the Seller info. I did. Then PayPal wrote me back. They wanted proof (or as they call it, authentication by a third party) that my BH-800 was a fake. I had 10 days to do it, or the claim was canceled. I wrote Nokia Customer Service again, asking for their help in authenticating the product - at my expense. Not hearing back, I called Nokia Customer Service and explained what I was trying to do. "Is this about a phone," they kept asking. No, about a fake headset - you guys care about fakes, don't you. I was asked to e-mail again. I did. I got an e-mail that said my query had been forwarded to the "appropriate product department". I noted the urgency of the the PayPal 10-day deadline, again. So, then, I called the Nokia flagship store in New York. Someone said to bring the piece in. I happened to going to NY on business. I took the piece in. Assistant Manager Joanne Losinno was great. She agreed to help me. She had never seen anything like it. The piece was smaller than an original BH-800, there was no UPC code, the manual was a fake, the accompanying pouch was not the standard. What Losinno couldn't do was state on paper, for legal reasons she said, that the item was an out and out fake. But she could make darn close in a letter. Which she did. In turn, I faxed her letter to PayPal, as instructed. Two days ago, I received my response. Yes, I could get a refund if I a) I returned the item to the Seller in Hong Kong at my own expense; b) reported a confirmed tracking number within 10 days to PayPal; c) I wait until the Seller confirms that he has received it. In the absence of all that, I lose my claim. As of this writing, I have satisfied two of those three conditions. Sending the package registered USPS cost me $17, or more than 50% of the original PayPal charge. Meanwhile, Nokia Customer Service has never gotten back to me - on an effort that I wanted to believe I was undertaking on their behalf. You see, I am also a Nokia shareholder, which I had mentioned to Customer Service. As far as I know, Nokia CS has no idea that their NY flagship store was even involved, since they neither suggested it nor responded when I said I was going to do that - a critical piece that would have brought everyone in the loop effortlessly. Meanwhile ebay continues to host this seller and others like him. Sister company PayPal continues to accept payments on behalf of this Seller. Recently, the Seller's negative ratings have started to pile up. I also went back and dug deeper into his ratings. I'm not the first to receive a fake BH-800 - a fact also reported to Paypal. Meanwhile, I bought a BH-900, an authentic one, on ebay, from a U.S.-based seller, and am very happy with it. Still, I wonder about Nokia, which can integrate complicated functions on its phones but not its responsiveness to a diligent customer. I doubt I'll hear from Nokia, but it's a nice thought. Life goes on, and so do fakes. I will be happy to provide documentation on all of the above to bona fide parties with a stake in supporting my efforts.

Is there any possibility to check his Adobe-ID (which he already told me) if it's the same adress, name,etc. as he told me...
or if there is an registered Version of PS CS4 owned by this Adobe-ID?
Just like to check if he's a real person or a fake...don't want to buy any stolen or illegal software...or beeing punked after paying the money...

Z1 SD card issues..Often caused by FAKE SD cards, unbeknownst to the user and those trying to help?

Well for the last month or so Ive had problems with my 64 gb SD card..losing data, getting corrupt and requiring non stop formatting..until eventually it just died totally.
Of course, throughout all this I was searching various forums for fixes and reasons why...and as far as I could see it was the fault of the Z1 'killing' SD cards ( I tried the card in other peoples phones and it did not work either..so I assumed it had been corrupted BY the phone!......since it HAD worked perfectly when i first got it)...
Well...Once it finally died totally this week., I decided to send it back to Samsung for an RMA. The card I had was a good quality, 64gb Samsung Evo SDXC class 10...Bear in mind I purchased it from an Ebay seller that had 1000s of positive feedback (1 or 2 negs regards late postage only) and the card arrived in the post in packaging with hologram etc, and all appeared good quality....
Im actually pretty tech savvy..and indeed internet shopping savvy, and have never been ripped off or conned before.....I didnt buy a 64gb EVo that was ridiculously cheap or anything..I paid what they are worth (then about £27)
But Samsung took one look at it and informed me it was a fake...the issue I had come up against was that the card worked fine up until its ACTUAL (not listed) capacity was reached..which was 7 GIGS!!!..not 64!!!...it was at that point that it started corrupting files and failing in general....
Which in my case was a couple of weeks after installing it in my phone (and the day I got round to piling all my music on it!)......so I had a few weeks of actual use out of it while all seemd fine....enough time to leave positive feedback for the seller and all!.....DEVIOUS SWINES!!! : D.
Anyway,
Now Im wondering...since these symptoms (files vanishing, corrupting etc) have been talked about so many times on these forums and elsewhere...not only on the Xperia Z1, but on all phones and devices that use SD cards...I wonder just how many are REALLY down to fake SD cards.....They are VERY realistic looking fakes...they even work pretty well up to a point (though probs not as fast as a real class 10 if you were to actually test them)..
In future, when offering help to people with SD card issues..i think I will make an effort to ask them first about the provenance of their SD card, and maybe try and get images of it. In all the threads I pored over, trying to find a fix for my SD card issues..I can not remember a single instance of someone asking if the card was definitely real or not..or anyone suspecting this to be the issue....(though Im sure there ARE, i didnt find one though..not that I would havee thought it was the case with mine,,,,since I had NO reason to think it WAS fake..what with the perfect packaging, and seller having no neg feedback after selling hundreds of them!).
Im not some sort of SD card expert..BUT I am pretty up to date with regards consumer tech.....and until Samsung revealed to me I had been conned...I had absolutely no INKLING that the cause of my issues wa a fake card...on no forums did anyone ask the person with the issue 'are you sure your card is real?'.....and I am really coming round to think that these fake cards are RIFE out there on the market....so realistic looking, package and all, that probably otherwise legitimate sellers are trading in them......the KILLER being the fact they do actually work...maybe for MONTHS if it takes you a while to reach its true capacity....and certainly long enough in many cases to mean the nefarious seller gets away scot free!
So watch out guys...I ceritanly will be in fuiture...Now I know that fake cards are a big thing.....its really easy to spot the fake ones (if the seller uses a REAL picture of the item on the listing!)...they are by no means identical to the real deal when you know what to look for (in the case of fake EVO 64gb like mine, just 'made in Taiwan' and the back being gloss black instead fo white, is enough to show it as fake.....but I did not know that at the time when an absolutely perfect lookng offical Samsung package turned up at my door!....
Anyone else have this yet? Im sure they have....also, anyone wonder now if the cause of their woes is a fake card? If you would like to post here, Im happy to have a look at it!

Since I have had this experience of buying a counterfeit product,, I haev been reading into the phenomena..and it turns out that Casio G Shock watches (the type I spent a fari bit of money on...a legitimate one luckily!) are very heavily counterfeited...and are ALL OVER Ebay....who seems to do nothing about it!
I can understand (though not condone AT ALL) criminals counterfeiting a sought after watch design, or jewellery and things like that...because they have a market for them, in the shape of people that cant afford the real thing, and think its ok to buy a cheap and poor quality knock off, that only superficially appears to be real.......
...but I have to say its a big surprise to me that they would counterfeit something like an SD card, even if it is a quite highly regarded model.......and even go to such effort to copy the packaging perfectly......I think that the fact that so much effort went into faking a Samsung Evo 64gb sd card ..that it demonstrates that there are a LOT of them out there....hundreds of thousands for sure....but could there be millions?
Due to this prevelance, I think it might well be worth asking each person that comes on the forum with an SD card problem, in particular those with a'new' SD that is losing data, or needs to reformat all the time, or any of the 'giveaway' symptoms...to ask them for an image of the offending article as a starting point.....and to then compare it to images of the real ones that are online...
Im sure most of them will deny they own a fake....I certainly didnt think for one second my problems were due to a counterfeit card...as I said in my post...the first I knew of it was when Samsung themselves informed me!
Otherwise we end up going round in circles trying to 'fix the unfixable'..which is what happend to me : D
Anyway, I will keep an eye out for people on the forum, and a couple of other tech sites I frequent, and see if I can identify any more of these fakes, and hopefully can catch them soon enough that the customers can get their money back, since the problems often dont manifest themselves until the time for immediate refund is passed (once again, this happened to me, and Im having to claim through Paypal..though they are being very helpful...its only £22...but its the principle of the thing!)

I have created a mapping format with some marketing attributes I want to create/update for a certain business partner. This works fine in the sense that the system is fully capable of updating if there already exist a marketing attribute of the same type for the BP, and create if there is none already.
Also, if the marketing attribute I try to upload allows multiple value, the system is clever enough just to add an additional and not overwrite the existing. So, this part is fine:-)
The issue arises when I want use the mapping format for marketing attributes and leave some columns blank (= I have a standard format I use, but for some BP's, I do not want to upload all marketing attributes, only some in the format). When I try to upload this, I get an error message saying the the value blank is not allowed for a certain marketing attribute. This is true, but I find it rather stupid if the system cannot simply ignore the blank entries in a file, since I would then need to create a new mapping format for every single BP!
Does anyone know how to fix this?
I can see that it is possible to add code for every single field in the mapping format, so I was thinking to write a small piece of code that the system should ignore the values that are blank. Have anyone tried this?

Possible work around (we implemented like this, you can't leave ELM file field blank but upload fake value) is creating a fake value for your attribute (for example: " not yet maintained", "to be filled in"). In that way a BP is made with attribute but with no "real" value... to your business to deside if this is an acceptable way of working!

So what I tried :

- edit extensions.xml, add proper stuff
- rezip and rename back, and of course, don't call anything in the ane if you know your support is just "fake" for that device
