False advertising for GSP Plan?

Okay, I purchased an HTC One for Verizon back at the end of August from my closest Best Buy.  I got a great deal trading in my Galaxy S3 and paid pretty much for the case and screen protector only, couldnt pass that up.  I was told when I bought the phone that their Service Plan on cell phones was the best, instead of dealing with Verizon, taking the phone in there with their service plan and having to get a refurbished phone, I could go with their plan, take the phone back into Best Buy no matter what the issue is and have it replaced with no deductable AND I would get a NEW phone on the spot.  Plus he said the plan was changing soon and that a deductable was going to start and that it would make sense to get in on the plan now.  So I did that because I know about getting refurbished from Verizon and I didnt want that, based on what they told me.
Fast forward 6 months and my phone breaks, complete power failure.  I take the phone to the store, no issues really getting my service, employee checked over the phone and had it ready for replacement pretty fast.  Besides being a day later than he said, as of now my phone hasnt come in to the store yet and I had everything done at the store on 3/3/2014 and today is 3/6/2014. I was pretty content, until I decided to check out the forums and see what other people were dealing with and happen to find out that my phone will NOT be a new one.
In a lot of the cases I've been reading here, it seems pretty common practice in best buy's stores to have their employees blatantly lie to the customer about what the protection plan actually does.  I was told I would get a new replacement on the spot, which is the whole reason I signed up for this plan and the reason I didnt get the extra coverage from Verizon, I KNOW they deal in refurbished phones for replacements and being told by Best Buy that they will give you a knew phone and not to deal with Verizon for coverage was a great thing to hear and of course sign up for.
So after reading all of the complaints about getting a refurbished phone when they were also promised a new one, I felt the need to post my exact same experience from a completely different store.  I cant imagine (having worked for Staples and Gamestop over the years) just telling people a flat out lie about what I sold them.  Is anyone held accountable for this?  Is this something Best Buy is promoting their employees to do, I find it hard to believe this could happen across so many stores in so many places if that is not the case.  So now I know that I'm getting a refurbished phone and I'm not very happy with that and I'm certainly not happy about being misled and lied to.
I seriously hope there is no issues with phone after this exchange, now I've bought plenty of refurbished items and have had no problems with them, but when I'm told I'll get a new phone on the spot if mine breaks for whatever reason, I kind of expect that to happen.  My phone was supposedly in stock at the store too, but I was also told that didnt matter because it had to be ordered and done this way.  What sense does it make to not give out one from inventory to make sure the customer has a phone right away?  Why not have the ordered item simply replace the one you could be giving to a customer.  This would certainly make the customer a lot happier AND it would show that everything your employees are telling them is true.

Alrighty, here is an update.
I got my new, haha, not new but refurbished phone yesterday 3/7/2014
All I thought was working fine with it.  But it so happens that the top speaker on the phone is blown out, it crackles like crazy and the top of the phone has a small separation in the casing.
I'm so happy they replace your phone with a broken refurbished one.  If anyone from Best Buy reads this, I'm not a happy customer right now.  My phone showed up at the store completely dead, I had to wait 15 minutes just for them to charge it enough to get it turned on and activated.  Nothing else was tested and a simple test of a video or something would have shown right away that the top speaker was blown out.
Now I'm going to have to drive another hour to the store and have this all done again, at least this time my phone works otherwise, but still this is pretty unacceptable.

  • Verizon Wireless False Advertising on Family of 4 More Everything Plan

I am trying to take advantage of the heavily advertised $160 family plan for 4 lines 10 GB of data.  I have 4 lines and have upgraded my data to 10 GB.  I need to be enrolled in Edge to get the $25 discount per line to actually get the deal.  Three of my lines are technically not yet eligible for an upgrade.  However, there is a well documented Early Edge Open Enrollment option of which I meet the criteria.  I will paste the criteria below.  My remaining phones were all purchased well before 11/13/13.  The offer is open until 6/30/14.  Whether I try online, or calling Verizon, or going to a VZW store, I am told that even though it appears I meet all the requirements, my lines are not tagged as Edge Eligible and there is absolutely nothing they can do about it. My account is in good standing.  The manager at the store thought it may be due to my being enrolled in One-bill combined billing with Verizon FIOS.  I have since disabled that option so I am on separate billing from each. Still no luck. This is no way to treat customers, Verizon!  You plaster an offer all over television, all over the internet, your web site, and when a customer goes to take advantage of it, the customer is denied the option for no reason and no ability for any of your workers to go into the system and correct the issue.   As it turns out I will probably just wait for my upgrade date so I can keep my phones and sell them on eBay which will be better for me in the long run and worse for you since you won't get my old phone.  For anyone reading this, I have 2 Motorola Razr Maxx's and 1 iPhone 4S.  I can easily sell these for $200+ each on eBay so if anyone is thinking of doing Early Edge, you are better off waiting until your upgrade date and keeping then selling your phones.  For me it means $600+ in my pocket but more importantly $600 less to Verizon which is what they will resell them for.  Verizon, you are too big and too inflexible.
What is Early Edge Open Enrollment?
Early Edge Open Enrollment is a limited-time option to participate in the Verizon Edge program. You can get your choice of the latest smartphone sooner than you would under a traditional 2-yr contract.
If you’ve had your current phone since 11/13/13, you may be eligible to purchase a 4G LTE smartphone through the Verizon Edge program. You’ll pay for your phone in monthly payments.
To be eligible for Early Edge, you must meet all the following:
    Be eligible for Verizon Edge
Have had your phone since 11/13/13 or longer
Return your phone in good working condition*
The Early Edge Open Enrollment option will be available 2/13/14 - 6/30/14.
Note: You must return the phone that was on your line at the time you placed your Verizon Edge order, and it must be returned to Verizon Wireless within 14 days of receiving your new phone. If you do not, you may be charged a non-return fee of up to $200.
    Last Modified: April 11, 2014

Thanks mrniceguy for educating me.  I am well aware of the benefits of the edge plan or I wouldn't be trying to enroll. I am angry that they won't let me enroll early and they do not honor the terms of the program equally for everyone. But as it turns out it is the early enrollment that is not a good deal because you have to turn your phone in.  Once your normal upgrade date comes you get to keep your old phone and sell it.  Same deal, pay $25 a month on edge and get $25 back on your plan whether you go early or wait till the upgrade date.  I wanted to go early because I was excited about getting a new phone.  But after being turned down repeatedly and thinking it through, I thought it better to trash Verizon for their policy and point out that patience is better because you get to keep your phone if you wait.  So if I do the math as you say I can either pay zero for the phone on edge and give them my old phone, or I can wait and pay zero for the phone on edge and then pocket $200 per phone that I will sell on eBay.

  • 3X points for LG washer and dryer is false advertisement-- 5 months later I am still waiting

I have tried multiple attempts (at least 3 calls) to Best Buy service and have yet to get my issue resolved.   I made anLG purchase of a washer and dryer on Octobe 6th 2014.  The add said get 3x points so that made my final decision to purchase from Best Buy.  5 months later I have yet to get my 3X points.  This is false advertisement. In all three of my calls the representative has apologized and opens up a case.  I never hear anything back.  I keep being told I got my 20% incremental points but that is not what I am disputing. The last time the represenatative gave me some points for my frustration but said someone would get back to me and that was back in December.  Its frustrating as I really like shoping at Best Buy but am becoming very annoyed and really do not want to purcahse here anymore if Best Buy does not follow through with their advertisements.  I do not have a copy of the ad (wish I would of kept one) but Best Buy should be able to verify all their ads.  I certainly am not making this up.  As a matter of fact, the salesperson at the store looked at the ad and confirmed that I should be getting 3X points for the purchase.   Since I have tried multiple attempts on the phone with no success then perhaps this message might work better.   I would discourage anyone right now in believing any of there reward ads.  My time is worth more than trying to chase Best Buy down for points I am owed and will begin to make my purschases elsewhere.  BEWARE customers as I am a very dissatisified customer at the moment.

    Hi analydia,
Thank you for taking the time to sign up for the forum and connect with us.  I can understand why it is you would feel frustrated, and I 100% agree that you should not have to chase down any points that you may have qualified for.  To hear that you have potentially been waiting 5 months for points to post to your My Best Buy account, it is just really disappointing.
It will generally take 20 to 35 days for points to post to a member's account for a Magnolia or Pacific Sales purchase, which will start after any scheduled deliveries are completed.  I looked over your account using the email address you registered with the forum and I do see that the base points for your Pacific Sales purchase have already posted.  With that being said, it should just be a matter of confirming 3X points was being offered and whether or not your purchase qualified.  It appears that your LG washer and dryer may have been eligible for 5X points, but it depends on which models you purchased.
I am very sorry for any inconvenience you have experienced up until now, and I would like to see what I can possibly do to further assist.  To gather some additional information and go over your My Best Buy account with you, I will be sending you a private message.  You can check your private messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the little yellow envelope located at the top of the page.
I hope you have a wonderful day!

  • Plan advertised for $29 but then $49

Plan advertised for $29 but then checks and sees that I'm a member and changes to $49. Anyone knows how to solve this and avoid paying so much more?

Which plan are you asking about?  Have you had subscriptions already?

  • Does Verizon even really offer the advertised "Local Digital" plan for $12.99 a month?

In the first image, look at the rightmost column, and in the 2nd image, it is advertised for $12.99 a month.
This is what I want to downgrade our TV service to.
Yet, I am getting ALL SORTS of conflicting information from Verizon reps on phone. Some say they do not offer it, some say I cannot subscribe to FIOS Internet if I go with this plan (which I think is absurd).
What will it take to truly switch to this TV plan, while keeping my FIOS Internet? Obviously the Verizon reps on the phone cannot seem to come to the same consesus as to whether or not they truly offer this plan...
    Thanks in advance.

It's possible that you are coming out of a remote terminal or remote DSLAM, rather than a full blown central office. Verizon seems to have an unspoken rule or habit of only provisioning 3Mbps and below to customers on the remotes. To augment that, it's been seen in some cases that they are running Fiber to the remotes, but only supply the equivalent of several T1 circuits rather than OC-3 Fiber or better.
To find out why the speeds are being limited, we would need to know what kind of DSLAM is in use, and how far you are from the nearest Verizon CO. The attenuation you have suggests you're one mile of wire length away from the source of DSL, which is either an RT or a CO. From that point, we would also need to find out what kind of connectiivty Verizon has running to your DSLAM.
If you're coming out of a CO instead, it's also been seen that Verizon has a habit of selling only 3Mbps out of congested COs or those with lesser connectivity running to the CO.
The thing you can do, is pressure Verizon into giving you at least 7Mbps. With those stats you should have no problems at all. It's going to take weeks of pushing to get the job done, but it is possible. I'd start off by calling Techincal Support, who would be able to assist with this. Emphasize to ignore the availability database - this is just a bunch of records controlled by what Verizon wants to input in.

The first to bring me 1Gbps Fiber for $30/m wins!

  • Gift Card Never Received - False Advertising

Like many of you, I also was promised a gift card when signing up for the triple play package.  As I was told that this would be received after having service for 90 days, I waited and even allowed an extra month for processing and delivery. Of course, this did not come and when I contact Verizon, I spoke with several unhelpful agents. I have spoken with one person who was actually helpful and told me she could put the order in, but I was at my wits end after talking with clueless and rude representatives that wasted my time and Verizon's time. Have any of you had a successful resolution?  I am planning to file complaints with the BBB about the false advertising and send them the copies of conversations and my documentation that I have.  In anyone's experience has this been helpful?

  • New phone and possible extortion with false advertisement

So I went to the nerby verizon store as a continuing customer and bought a new phone on October 29th. They told me I wouldn't be allowed to keep my old number because when I added it to my relatives family plan it was automatically put on a contract (without my knowing). So I had to get a new number. I signed up with the following plan (as shown on the chart they handed me):
Smart Phone ($40 unlimited talk and text nationwide)
    4GB Data Plan ($70)
Bringing it to a total of $110
Since I am a qualcomm employee, they said I get the 20% discount. 20% of $110 brings it to a total of $89.
I have a showing of $300 (for the phone) and $110 (for the first monthy fee) being taken from my bank account. When I asked to store clerk why I am paying the extra $21, he said that is for the activation fee, and I said okay. I confirmed if the re-occuring monthly charges are setup to be automatically deducted from my bank account and the clerk confirmed that it was setup. Here is were things go wrong. A month later I get a phone call saying I never payed my monthly fee and owe $229.87. I need to pay this immidiately or my service will be cancelled. Not having enough time in the weekday to talk with verizon due to work I head over to their store today on the weekend to investigate this. They tell me I never payed $110 according to their records and there is nothing they can do about the fee. They give me a number to financial services who is nothing but an automated system over the weekends. I'm thinking once I actually get ahold of a person who can help me with this, not only will I have to pay a late fee (due to the clerk lieing too me or screwing something up), but these numbers don't match up at all with the $110 I am supposed to be paying monthly let alone the 20% discount I should be getting. Should I start calling a lawyer for false advertisement and extortion?

    First let's clear this up
    Line Access Fee $40
Unlimited talk and text with 4 GB data $70.
I'm not sure why people thin the talk and text applies to the $40 when it's clearly doesn't when you look at the plans.
Anyway you get 20% off the "data" part which would be a $14 discount. Accusing Verizon of extortion and false advertisement on a public messageboard is a serious charge and grounds for a libel suit if you can't prove your accusations( which you can;t )

  • False advertisement

Today, I went to a Verizon store (Edinboro, PA Washington Towne Plaza) to add a line to my existing account. I was told that I would get a FREE Samsung Galaxy Tab2  tablet if I purchased a new Samsung smartphone (with a 2 yr contract). After we talked about it for awhile, I decided to buy the phone and get the FREE tablet. The Manager said several times that it was FREE. Well, after we started doing the paperwork, the manager handed me information to submit for a $100 mail-in rebate. I said, what is this for?? He seemed liked he knew it was wrong but told me I would have to pay for the tablet and submit the mail-in rebate. I was furious! The flyers thru-out the store DO NOT mention the rebate just the 2 yr contract. Furthermore, the flyer I received at my home also DOES NOT mention the rebate. I told the manager that this is wrong (he looked both ways and agreed with me). This is false advertisement! I bought the phone but did not get the tablet because IT WAS NOT FREE. I usually don't complain much but after I left, this really upset me. I am to the point now of canceling my Verizon account and it would be a shame because I have been with them for years....Bad business Verizon!! Of course I am not done submitting my complaint---can't let this one go.

I have said this over and over, rebates are not worth having. You see technically if the tablet is $100 and verizon gives a rebate for $100 then indeed its free. However the rebate is in the form of a visa gift card, not cash. And you wait for weeks and weeks and many times the rebate center gives you an excuse of non receipt, did not follow the rebate guidelines, or it was not received on time or some other dumb reason. So you end up with nothing.
My friend over at Sprint went in and bought a Samsung Tablet for $49.99 plus tax and it was done in such a way that it was contingent on a two year contract and a $15 a month 2Gb of data. But the fine print stated if you drop the data plan before two years there was no penalty. However the paperwork stated something about the full cost must be paid on the tablet.
You can read the particulars on the sprint website.
If you were scammed then I agree, just find service elsewhere since no one should do business with a dishonest company.
Bait and switch, or changing of a printed offer can be complained to your states Attorney Generals Office or Department of Consumer Affairs.
    Good Luck

  • Do Verizon customers have any legal recourse in response to the false advertising of iPhone ship dates, as well as de-prioritizing existing customers in the fulfillment order?

9/19 guaranteed ship date, seems like a clear cut case of "bait and switch" on top of the customer service failure.
State and federal laws are in place to protect consumers from false or misleading advertising. These laws make deceptive claims illegal. No business may make false, misleading, or deceptive claims about a product regarding its:
    Price
    Quality
    Purpose
Consumers who are victims of false or misleading advertising should contact an experienced lawyer to find out about his or her rights and actions that can be taken.
False advertising is any published claim that is deceptive or untruthful. Misleading advertising is any published claim that gives a consumer an incorrect understanding of the product they are interested in purchasing or using. The false and misleading advertising by companies of any product may result in the consumer suffering a financial loss, or another form of damage to the consumer.
The financial losses or damages acquired by a consumer due to the false or misleading advertising may not be significant. However, this is not a cost that any consumer should have to endure. Consumers who have suffered from financial losses or other damages may participate in a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for any losses incurred.
The Types of False and Misleading Advertising Tactics
There are several types of false and misleading advertising tactics used by companies to lure in unsuspecting consumers. Some of these tactics include:
    Bait & Switch Advertising
    High-Pressure Sales Tactics
    Deceptive Form Contracts
    Artificially Inflating Prices
    Failure to Disclose
Bait & switch advertising is the advertising of a product that the business does not provide or does not intend to sell. Businesses usually lure consumers into stores by promising to sell or provide an item or service at a certain cost. Once the consumer is in the store, the business tries to sell the consumer a more costly item or service.
High-pressure sales tactics are used to get consumers to purchase a service or product that he or she does not want or does not intend to purchase.
Deceptive form contracts have ambiguous promises or fine print in their contracts that are usually overlooked or misunderstood.
Artificially inflating prices is used by businesses to give the illusion that a great deal on a product or service is available.
Failure to disclose is a term used for when a business does not inform consumers when an item or service is currently unavailable, or when an offer has expired.
Consumers may be awarded a variety of remedies against any business that engages in false or misleading advertising. These remedies may include:
    Monetary damages
Injunctions ordering the businesses to stop running the advertisements
Injunctions ordering the businesses to stop engaging in deceptive practices
Injunctions ordering the businesses to include disclosure statements in their advertising

Good luck in proving that they purposely deceived you, me, and anyone else still waiting.  I'm would guess that they were told by Apple to expect a certain amount devices, and when that amount fell short...well guess what happens...backorders and furious consumers.  Was I upset that I had trouble pre-ordering...yes.  Was I a bit bothered when my ship date moved...you betcha!  Will my world come to an end if I don't have my new iPhone today...nope, not at all.  I'm not saying you shouldn't be bothered but it's not like it's a limited edition device and they're only producing so many.  Everyone who wants one will eventually have the opportunity to get it...some of us will just have to wait a little longer.  I'm in no way telling you not to be upset, after all, you're entitled to your own opinion and feelings...I just know that my energy could be better used on something more productive than being angry at Verizon.   After all, I know they're not sitting on a boat load of phones just pointing at laughing at the fact that I have to wait.  When they have it, they'll ship it.  I'll get mine and I'm sure if you hang in there, you'll get yours too.  Have a great evening and smile...life's much to short to spend any moment being upset over something as simple as a delayed phone.

  • False advertisement? g505s -

I ordered the g505s from lenovo outlet about a year ago. After researching, it looks like there are multiple versions of the g505s, ranging from different processor types, and "dual video cards". Well the dual video card is what has me ticked off. It looks like only a few of these variations of the g505s actuall have the dual video cards, a dedicated GPU as well as the one built in to the APU. The problem is you are stating all of these come with dual graphics. Anyways, I purchased this because it was promoted as having the dual graphics, since I was going to use this for light gaming. It said dual graphics on the sales listing, as well as a sticker on the laptop it self by the keyboard that says DUAL GRAPHICS. I recently started to attempt gaming on the machine, and since it didn't live up to par whatsoever as far as gaming goes, I decided to check what type of GPU the laptop actually had. To my surprise, it only has the the APU with no secondary graphics card. This is false advertisement and I am not the only purchaser who is aware of the situation. Unfortunately, and fortunatley for you, I bought this a year ago and I doubt I would be allowed any sort of reimbursement or trade-in since it's been so long. I hope which ever employee reading this can give me an explanation, or even a way of settling this matter. I may be inclined to pursue legal matter in this.

If you can prove your statements and believe it was a material change to what your contract states file a complaint with your states attorney generals office or consumer affairs division in your location. • Mountain Lion Airplay feature is False Advertising

    Here's my note to Apple:
After a frustrating 2 hour call on why airplay in Mountain Lion did not work properly  - see transcript of case # 356682008 - i was told to connect via ethernet cable to identify the issue. Ethernet Cable - in my household they went the way of dinosaurs as the one feature that made me upgrade to mountain lion was the ability to use airplay wirelessly - without having to connect the $60 Apple cable to my HDTV anymore. I do not even know the last time I had an ethernet cabe in my hands.
The fact that nowhere in your literature as of this morning requested an ethernet cable as part of the specification for use of the features of Mountain Lion basically equates to false advertising - either that or the MacBook Pro you sold me lack some of the functions that you were supposed to provide - I would like to know how are you going to fix this situation that does not require me to waste any more of my billable time with you.
    <Edited by Host>

Apple Menu > System Preferences > Displays
At the bottom of this window should be an AirPlay Mirroring drop down list that should display your AppleTV.
If your AppleTV does not display here, then it is either disconnected from the network, or your MBP is connected to a different network than your AppleTV.  It sounds like you potentially have two networks available to you (the Motorola and the Linksys).  Both devices must be on the same network.
If your AppleTV is listed, but you are still not able to Mirror your display to your HDTV, check the resolution settings for the external display (AppleTV).  An AppleTV2 can only display to 720p (or 1280x720).  If you are attempting to force a higher resolution (1080p / 1920x1080), then the AppleTV is receiving an "unrecognized/invalid signal" and will not display.

  • False advertisement-ripped off

My daughter is required to have an iPad Air 2 to start her new school and I had to have it by this weekend. I went on the website on Monday found the item that I wanted to buy it said there were 2 available so I puchased one of them on the website. I had no problems they accepted my order and I chose to pick up in the Waldorf, ms store of which it said it was available to pick up that night. It took them 2 seconds to take my $550 out of my bank account for the purchase. I received a confirmation emai after my purchase stating that I would be notified after it was sent to the store. I called the next day and the message said my item had been shipped and I would receive an email notifying me when I could pick it up. Still confused the next day I called the store who informed me there was no item there and the status they showed said still in process. I then called best buy.com to inquire about the order I got through to one person who after on the phone for 30 minutes said they had to transfer me to someone else I guess bc they had no answer for me I somehow mysteriously got hung up on and nobody returns my phone call and they have my phone # bc I was recognized by it through my order and when I called the phone recognized it and told me the status of my order. I then call back again go over the entire story again to then be on the phone another 30-45 minutes have the service lady tell me she has no idea what happened and that maybe she should try to cancel my order and reorder another one so I said whatever it takes to get my item by this weekend for the same price and I was very patient. She cancels te order and is looking for another item of which she must have not any luck or got sick of dealing with me because I then again got Hung up on again. So at this point i have no iPad for my daughter to start school on Monday and now have no $ to buy one! Best buy.com falsely advertised the item, stole my $550 and then was unwilling to get me a replacement. To me that is false advertisement, cyber theft and I will be filing a small claims court case, a better business bureau claim unless this is taken care of by tomorrow. I have never had a problem with any other online purchase I have ever made and have always been a loyal customer to best buy. Get it together! I am absolutely disappointed with this company now! My order was{removed per forum guidelines}.

    Hello horge2013,
I was disappointed to read of your experience in trading in your iPhones and your attempt to purchase the open box iPhone 6. We strive to provide a superior level of service and I apologize for our having let you down, both on the value you received for the iPhone 4s in trade-in and for our inability to sell you the open box iPhone 6 due to the device not having been properly deactivated. I apologize for the inherent inconvenience that you may have endured.
As you mention and our friend autotech796 further illuminates, the trade-in value provided by our online Trade-In Center is an estimate. The value that can actually be offered is provided once the device has been inspected by our store associates. As you found, occasionally the value offered online and that offered in our stores can be somewhat divergent.
I was more disheartened to read that we were unable to complete the sale of the open box iPhone 6. The proper deactivation of a returned cell phone is part of our procedure in accepting a return and I'm at a loss to explain how this step might have been missed. In any event, it is never appropriate for our associates to be anything but respectful of you and our other customers, and I regret if Crystal's attitude was in the slightest dismissive.
In looking into this situation further, I note that you also sent us an email to which we replied with a promise that we would ask a member of the store leadership team to contact you. Has anyone from the store reached out to you yet about this experience?
Please know that I'm very grateful that you took the time to write to us here on Best Buy Unboxed and to share your very valuable feedback with us.

  • Lithium-ion Battery instead of Lithium Polymer. False advertisement!

I bought a new MBP core 2 Duo 2.33Gig. In the Specifications of this model, it comes with a Lithium-Polymer Battery, but Looking at my battery it is actually a Lithium-ion.
    Isn't this False advertisement?
Please Apple, I would like to exchange my battery for what I actually payed for.
    Thankyou
macbook Pro   Mac OS X (10.4.9)   Core 2 Duo 2.33

    Hi mikulas,
It looks like it is just a labeling issue and that you have a Lithium-Polymer battery.
See Kbase 303785 Intel-based Apple Notebooks: About the battery
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303785
    Which says:
While the physical battery inside your MacBook or MacBook Pro may state on the underside of the battery that it is "Li-Ion", it is using the Lithium polymer implementation of this technology.

  • How to find maximum number of users we can assign for Hyperion Planning.

    HI,
How to find maximum number of users we can assign for Hyperion Planning.i.e., how to find license limit in hyperion planning 11.1.2.1.
In Essbase propreties, the system is showing maximum planning users could be 65535.
what would be the number for concurrent scenario?
    Thanks
    Giri
Edited by: Giriprasad on Jun 18, 2012 2:18 AM

The number of users would be based on your license agreement with Oracle, the system is not aware of your license agreement so it is up to you to stick to it.
    Cheers
