False Messages

I often received calls with the caller ID showing "Message Receive." (I'm assuming my phone screen is not large enough to show the "d" in received.) Note this is not the same as the problem "Video Message Received." There is no phone number associated with the call... none! The calls also do not show up in my "Skype for Windows" program so there is no way to block the calls. If I answer the call, there is no one on the line. Anyone having similar problems?

I do not find the text "selector_test.txt" anywhere on my partition C! Where does Firefox retain a pointer to this file that no longer exists? And why?
NB: The text "could not be found on this server" is sloppy. That message is not issued from a servcer, but from the instance of Firefox on my computer. The message should read "could not be found on the specified server".

After applying SP1 (officeserversp2013-kb2880552-fullfile-x64-en-us) I have got this false error message- The trial period for this product has expired. How to take it off!!
Here is what's happening now when i click on this message it takes me to sites link and when i click on sites it takes me to one drive for business library. The links have also changed [sites] should be in place of this false message [ The trial for this
product has expired] . I have Enterprise license and i checked again just to be sure through powershell these are the GUIDs

According to your post, my understanding is that you got the "The trial period for this product has expired" on all pages after applying the SP1.

hai my name is sundar.my hp photosmart 375 is showing a false message always i.e( Paper jam and the press ok) . but while checking there is no jam in the printer . while give the print command it is showing me this msg all the time . plz help me how to solve this problem.

HP Envy 5640 "Out Of Paper" FALSE MESSAGE

I have "Out of Paper" false message. When I pressed "PRINT" on my Iphone/Ipad, the printer still printed for me. BUT the menu on Iphone/Ipad did not provide me THE RANGE, so I had to print the whole docemunent. I JUST WANTED TO PRINT A FEW PAGES with "RANGE OPTIONS" By the way, I tried everything: Turn On/Turn Off, remove the paper tray, put in brand new paper etc . Hi , Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I understand you are getting an 'Out of paper' error message on your HP Envy 5640. You were able to print from your iPad and you tried some troubleshooting steps but the error message remains. Let's go ahead and try a Hard Reset: 1. Unplug all cables and memory cards from the printer. Unplug the power cord, directly from the back of the printer while the printer is still turned on.
2. Unplug the other end of the cord from the power source.
3. If there is a power module on the power cord, disconnect one end and reconnect it.
4. After 60 seconds, plug the cord directly into a wall outlet (not a surge protector or battery backup as they can cause the printer to lose basic functionality over time).
5. Plug the power cord into the back of the printer.
6. The printer should automatically power back up. If it doesn't, turn it on with the power button.
7. Try making a photocopy (if your printer is an all-in-on printer) before connecting any other cables to the printer.
8. Connect any other needed cables to the printer.I would like you to go ahead and continue troubleshooting here, I understand there is paper in there, it may just need to be cleaned and reset: An 'Out of Paper' Message Displays on the Control Panel and the Printer Does Not Pick Up Paper. Let me know the outcome, is the error message gone. I-movie giving false message: "lost connection to camera"

i am an experienced imovie 4.0.1 user. recently when i tried to share a movie to my dv camera i got a "lost connection to camera" message which is false. i can import from camera to i movie and i can also write videos from final cut HD 6.5 to the same camera usung same firewire, but i cannot write to the camera.
at this stage the only way i can get something off my Imovie is to import it into final cut and then write it to my Dv camera through final cut, which works fine but is cumbersome.
the problem seems to be in I movie, which no one here can figure out.
at the suggestion of some local experts, i deinsatlled quicktime 7.1.2 entirely including any installers, and then downloaded it and reinstalled it. i did this because my quick time seemed to be screwed up (I had 7.1 qt with 6.5 player .) i have no idea how that happened, but some thought it might be the cause of my problems. also an experienced final cut user told me there were some problems with the qt 7.1.2 install program that was affecting tiger/final cut users and there was some hope that this procedure might also help me.
it didn't.
doing this had no effect on my imovie problem
any suggestions would be welcome

I found a solution to my system. I went to the apple software updates and updated the Mac OS X software that I was using (10.4.3) and added an update from QT 7.0 to 7.1.2 I think there was also an Apple Desktop converter of some description. After I downloaded and installed AND took the DesktopVideoOut.component of the Library>Quicktime folder THEN restarted, when I tried to copy my iMovie 4 to camera the lost connection message did not come up.
Hooray! Hope this helps someone else! It only took me 8 hours of trial and error!

Can no longer print wirelessly - False Message - "Network Host is Busy"

Fairly new to Macbook, but when I initially set up my printer wirelessly it worked fine. After recent 'updates' to the OS and HP drivers, I'm stuck with the 'network host is busy' problem that I seen in many other threads. There have been NO changes to my hardware - same router, same printer. Print jobs sit in queue and host is always 'busy' but it's not, really. There doesn't seem to be a good and actual "solution" for the issue yet. Here's the details:
Macbook Pro, 13"
Mac OS X 10.6.4
HP OfficeJet J6400 (drivers - 3.0.4 - just updated with the latest update from Apple)
Printer is running ONLY wirelessly, it is not hooked to a PC. It has an IP assigned by my router.
I have two PC's that print to it just fine, wirelessly.
I removed the printer from the Macbook, and re-installed it sort of manually using IPP as the protocol. The Macbook 'sees' the printer, and I can access the printer utilities to view ink levels, see the hardware/firmware information, etc.
I can also print a test page wirelessly from the Macbook, because as I'm told, printing a test page bypasses the drivers; and if you can print a test page but can't print normally, it would seem there's a driver issue, no?
One thing I don't know how to figure out is the 'queue name' so I leave it blank for 'default'. This is the only wireless printer and there are no other shared printers.
So I'm pretty well stuck, and have to move files or send links to my PC so I can print stuff (flawlessly) from there since the Macbook won't print at all - I always receive the 'network host is busy' message. The frustrating thing is, when I first installed it months ago, installation went very smoothly, and everything worked perfectly - until recently.
I know it's not just me, but any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Checking the HP web site I could not find a manual for the J6400 but there was a J6410 and its User Guide states the following...
1. Click the HP Device Manager icon on the Dock or in the Hewlett Packard folder in the Applications folder.
2. From the Information and Settings list, select Network Printer Setup Utility.
I also found the following HP wireless support site that suggests the print queue creation is performed by the HP software. No mention of how to configure the Mac queue manually.

False message that I need to update Firefox

Hi, I am using Firefox 26, which I understand is the latest version. My PC is set to auto update Firefox. I was just on ebay when a new Firefox window opened with the message that I have Firefox 26 and need to update to the latest version, and offering me a box to click. I closed it and clicked About Firefox, which confirms I have the latest version. A while later it opened again, and there was also a gambling site in the window. I also noticed that ebay pages I had open in other tabs were periodically refreshing without being asked to, and for no obvious reason. I went to make a cup of tea and when I returned my PC was showing my log-in screen and when I logged in I got a message that Windows had closed unexpectedly. I did a Norton full system scan which found nothing, but I am still wondering if the update Firefox message was a spoof inviting me to download some malware, as there is no later version than 26. My Firefox is also set to empty the cache and cookies every time I close it. I have read the other threads about erroneous reports from websites that Firefox needs updating, but this did not seem to fit those circumstances. The only sites I had open were my email and ebay, neither of which has ever shown any problem with Firefox before.
Grateful for any views / advice.

SAP Workflow not triggering due to "Start Condition return FALSE" message in SWEL

I have SES approval workflow which is not triggering in few cases because of check function ends with exception even it has valid start condition and correct data. For example lets say we have PO no. 100 for which 3 SES (SES1,SES2 & SES3) are created. Out of which workflow for SES3 is not triggering even if all the three contain valid start condition(Bases on internal order at PO line item).when triggering workflow manually using SWUE for SES3 it work fine.Please find SWEL screenshot below and let me know if you have come across this type of issue.

kindly use SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT and not SWE_EVENT_CREATE it's always better to use APIs.
Why use 2 sub-objects? you already have a z-object and you can modify it. even if there is a reason for the double sub object , the workflow should still run on the standard one - BUS2091.

As for your question,
if you are using a function module to raise the event, way not check in it if the service entry sheet has been created properly before creating the event. you can even check if the PO contains an internal order in your RFC function module and raise a specific event. then you will have no need for the starting condition.

Overwrite message given when saving pdf files

If I open a pdf attachment in Thunderbird and then select "Save As" in the pdf application, I get an overwrite message when using an edited existing filename. eg: If a filename xxxx.pdf exists in the folder to which I want to save and I use the name and then edit the name to xxxx2.pdf prior to saving, I get a "Overwrite existing file xxxx.pdf" message. If I select "Yes", it saves the file as xxxx2.pdf and does not overwrite the old file (so the result is what I intended). This is thus a false message, as the mechanism works correctly.
I have version 24.5.0 installed on Windows 8 and Adobe Acrobat Reader XI as default. It was working correctly on my XP machine, but seemed to have changed when changing to Windows 8.
When following the same steps from a file outside Thunderbird, I do not get the message.

Is this PDF open in acrobat reader? If so Thunderbird has no control or involvement in the process at all, you will need to contact adobe about the aberrant behavior..

Trying to update my GPS app i get an insufficient memory memory which is not true. I cannot seem to reinstall it; getting same message. Advise?

Trying to update my GPS app I get a false message sying I have insufficient memory. I tried deleting the app to reinstall it but seemslike it si trying to charge me again. At any rate, why, with sufficient memory will it never update this app without reinstalling it? (I may be off one OS number)

You will need 3 to 5 times the app size in free space during the app's installation. Once the install is complete, you can reuse that free space. If I have to update a big app like Navigon or TomTom, I remove my music videos or a movie or two. After the app is installed, I can sync again to replace the items I removed.
If you are trying to download the app again from the app store, you have to click the "Buy" button and you will get a message about your credit card being charged, but when you continue, you'll get the opportunity to download the app again without charge. Though you can initiate the binary from your client side but for the file creation, there is no other way but to store it on the server side. So your best bet would be to get some space free on the server side of yours.
