FAQ: If I log in using my Facebook ID, does GroupPix post anything without my knowledge?
Answer:
No. GroupPix uses your Facebook ID to make an account that works with GroupPix. However, it does not post any activity updates unless you specifically share to Facebook.
kglad They are not any of my problems, I successfully log in, there is no error showing anywhere, but instead of giving me the full access to creative cloud, as I paid for, they just show me as a free user.
I think this is not a technical issue, but a payment one, but I cannot get a satisfying answer from Adobe.

If the same website is opening each time you launch a browser (Safari?) hold down the shift key as you launch to prevent previous pages from opening.
Have a look at your settings in Safari > Preferences. Especially General and Privacy.
Reset Safari to remove cookies and other stored data.

Have a look at your settings in System Preferences > Security & Privacy.

I have repeated the download trying to solve the problem but I get the same results. I used to have Firefox and used it all the time, I do not know how I lost it, but one day the browser just quit. The bookark, favorite works just not the browser.

On the first issue, I haven't associated single letters with sites, so I'm not sure how that feature works. I usually type a few letters then arrow down or click on the one I want. -
How does one remove temporary files from Safari? A friend logged on to her Facebook account using my iMac running Mac OSX 10.7.5 and Safari 6.1.6. Now I can't remove her e-mail address from my computer. When I open Facebook her address shows in the user button. I do not have a Facebook account. It was suggested to me that I try clearing temporary files from Safari but I can't find anything that tells me how to do this. Are temporary files the same as the cache? It also was suggested that I try clearing Safari cache. How do I do that?
Check Safari/Preferences/Passwords to see if the Facebook account is there. If so, select it and remove it. If you are still having problems, Safari/Preferences/Advanced - enable the Develop menu, then go there and Empty Caches. Quit/reopen Safari and test. If that doesn't work, Safari/Reset Safari.

Hi, I cant login to the facebook app on my iphone 5 ios 6.0.2. I keep getting an error message saying 'There was an error logging in using single sign on' when im asked to log in again i get a 'session expired' message. This only started happening yesterday. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks.
I am having the same problem and took the following steps to mitigate it to no avail.
1. I deleted the Facebook app on the phone and turned off Facebook in the iPhone's system-wide settings.
2. I re-enabled Facebook in the iPhone's system-wide settings and reinstalled the Facebook app and logged in again. It worked. For about an hour.
3. I completely restored the phone to a previous backup (before the problems started) and reenabled Facebook .... reinstalled the app.... and now it works intermittenly. But it hasn't worked in about 12 hours now (just tried a few minutes ago).
Please advise. -
How to uninstall/delete facebook and related content: Logged in using wrong account
Hi everyone. Before I had a chance, my wife logged into her facebook account using the facebook app on my Z10. Now all of her facebook contacts have been imported into my phone as well as all of her notifications appear in the Hub. I've tried:
1) logging out of facebook and logging back in, but my phone seem to be permanently connected to her account (I do not have the option of changing accounts)
2) Searching where these settings are stored on my phone to no avail
3) uninstalling the facebook app: but her messages still appear in the Hub
I want to:
1) Delete all contacts that were inported by facebook
2) Delete my wife's facebook settings on my phone.
Please help. This is more than just a bit annoying.After 1 day, my wife's facebook account finally appeared until settings>accounts, where I was able to delete it. A few minutes later, my z10 started to cleaned up my contacts list for me. Strange.

The extension Firefox for Norton Toolbar 2011.7.2.3 was just updated to be compatible with Firefox 7.0.1, and it now warns me not to log on to my Facebook account, that it's a fraudulent website, even though it's the same web-site I've always used to log on to Facebook.

Keeps making me log back in to Facebook, Hotmail. Tried to install 5.0, and it CRASHED my PC!
1)I keep having to log back in to Facebook and Hotmail. And even when I do, it will make me do it again!
2)Tried to install 5.o so that I could use the feedback tool (really dumb that you have to have the latest version to give feedback...) and it crashed my PC! Not going to try it again. If issues persist I will go to Google chrome.You will need to be reactivated on the BES. The password for that would come from your BES admin for your employer.
So...my best advice, get in touch with the Admin first.

I have set each page to not 'keep signed in' for both Gmail and Facebook (have not tried others) and yet when I close firefox and re-open, my pages are still fully logged in.
I have taken steps to clear cookies and history, close browser, open browser, log into Gmail and Facebook in new sessions and made sure the options to remain logged in were not selected and then closed the browser only to re-open and have my accounts still open.
Additionally, beyond that I have enabled the clear history when firefox closes option for 'active logins', 'cookies', and 'cache'. Still the sessions persist. This should not be possible. None of the tabs are pinned currently.
A friend, having the same settings (we think) was finding that Facebook sessions would be logged out, but his Gmail session would still be active for his inbox but attempting to reach account settings would require him to log in. In my experience, I was able to get to the account settings page without having to log in.
What is going on? How do we get Firefox to behave like it used to (like it should)?it's in about:config, browser.sessionstore.privacy_level

How export to use in Facebook?

How can I export from FCE to use in Facebook?Sorry, but at the moment my iMac's broken, which has FCE on it, but I think you just go to File > Export > Using Quicktime Conversion.
It's something like that anyway if that's not it, I just know it's under Export > using Quicktime Conversion
But I'm fairly sure Export is under the File menu. Just make sure you click Using Quicktime Conversion, because the other Quicktime export option, is quicker, but you'll notice that when you double click on it, once it's been exported somewhere, it'll open in FCE. We don't want that.
Anyway, now that you've done Using Quicktime Conversion, make sure you know where it's been saved, log in to Facebook and then click on "Video", (it'll be a little rectangle on the left, and then click on Upload a video. There, you're done. -
Safari browser on my win7 laptop keeps logging me out of Facebook
I installed Safari today after recently using it in university. I find its easy to get on with untill it logs me out of facebook with no warnings and right in the middle of conversations.
This isnt good. I have seen on the forums already that this has been sorted on Mac OSX software, is there an easy fix for this or will it require an update patch??From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
The press Command + Optoin + E to empty the Safari cache.
Quit and relaunch Safari and try Facebook. -
How to Publish to Revel from Lightroom using a Facebook Account
I signed in to my Revel Account using my Facebook Account. I'm trying to publish from Lightroom but it's not accepting my Facebook ID and Password. How do I publish from Lightrrom using a Facebook account or how do I switch my Revel Facebook login to my Adobe login? Any help is appreciated.

To set up publishing to Revel 1.10 is easy in Lightroom 4. I would suggest that you update to Lightroom 4.4 first. You can goto the help menu in Lightroom and then select " Check for updates" then update to version 4.4. Also make sure you have updated to Revel 1.10

Here you will see the Lightroom Publishing Manager. Click on the Revel tab and then select Authorize Revel button. You will then be prompted to sign into your Revel account. If your Facebook account log in information is not working then I would suggest to log in with your Adobe ID. You are best to do that anyway.
In the image below you can see that I created separate albums for pictures. Then you can drag your photos to these folders and click publish. Then check your Adoberevel.com to see if the images show. Once you see that they uploaded in the upperleft of Lightroom, then you should see the images show in Revel.
You can publish to Facebook from Lightroom the same way. Just click on the facebook tab on the publishing manager and authorize the Facebook connection with your Facebook log information. You will then be prompted to log into your Facebook account thru a browser.

How do I force a log switch using dbmcli?
For data protection purpose I would like to do this on daily basis.
The system has autolog=on, and I run the backups using dbmcli via crontab on a linux box. MaxDB version is 7.6.01.12

with Oracle Databases you use logswitches to get online redo logs copied to archive logs even when these online redo logs are not yet completely filled.
Basically you just want to make sure to have the latest changes in your backup too.
Well in MaxDB there is no "switch logfile" because there is no such thing as the logfiles. And there is also no limitation like the one of Oracle when backing up log data.
If you want to backup each and all not yet backed up log entries: no problem!
Deactivate the automatic log backup, perform a manual log backup and restart the automatic logbackup.
The log segments in MaxDB are not like the online redo logfiles of oracle. They are just markers in the logarea that are used by the autolog features to know "oh, there had been some changes again - let's do a backup of that now".
