FAQ: Please submit all crash reports using Adobe Crash Reporter (Mac)

It's extremely important that if you encounter a crash to submit all crash reports using Adobe Crash Reporter on Macintosh and include the following information:
Please provide a detailed description. If you can consistently reproduce the problem with specific steps, submit those steps (see related article on writing a quality bug report) . Even if you don’t know the exact steps to consistently reproduce the problem, try to provide as much detail as you can about what you were doing when the problem occurred: What operations were you performing when the problem occurred and just before the error occurred? What type of document were you using? Did you recently use any plug-ins? If the problem is specific to a particular file, feel free to post the file via Dropbox, YouSendIt, or some other free file sharing service and include a link to the file in the problem description. If you have problems transferring the file or have a sensitive file, please contact the beta coordinators to make arrangements.
Please include your email address. Someone from the product may want contact you to gather more information from you.
Please note: Crash reports are only helpful if they're submitted using Adobe Crash Reporter. Sending crash reports using OS X's crash reporting infrastructure does not go to the Photoshop engineering team.

First, thank you for submitting the crashes. And if you run into this again, on the about:support page you can click "submit crashes [[Firefox crashes - Troubleshoot, prevent and get help fixing crashes]] "
Copying and pasting the crash reports with bp in front of them will allow troubleshooters in the thread to take a look. Or pasting the bp-xxxxx.... in this search [https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/home/products/Firefox] will show you the report. It may also show a bug in the bug section if it is currently being worked on.

I can understand your concern & you need to worry about this, as your PC folders won't be available on other PC's as this option is just to browse through the files of the specific system on which you are working as shown in the screenshot below.
Only the files uploaded on the Document cloud will be available over Internet using Adobe Document Cloud service upon the authentication of your Adobe ID & password.

Creating Union Report using 3 different reports in OBIEE 11.1.1.5.0

Hi Gurus,
This is my first time where I am creating a union report, I have a urgent requirement to create a union report using 3 different reports and it has 3 common dimension columns and each report has 3 measures and a measure label, and 1st report measures has to show $ amounts with column names ,2nd report measures has to show % with column names and 3rd units with column names, the result should be in pivot with all columns and measures ,can someone please help me with steps to approach,I am really confusing with the results when i tried, I really appreciate your inputs.

Addendum: I've tried it with CSV instead of XLS. Again, the repository appears to work just fine, but in Answers I get this message, similar to the Excel error:

Firefox crashes when using adobe reader retriving pdf files

For instance when I tried to get a pdf file from the IRS web site using adobe reader firefox crashes it also does the same thing on other sites with pdf files what would be the problem and how could I resolve this issue.

Have you looked at the Knowledge Base articles [[Troubleshooting plugins]] or [[Using the Adobe Reader plugin with Firefox]]? There is some good information in there. You may want to try reinstalling the plugin as well or updating it if it is out of date.

Firefox tends to freeze and/or crash when using adobe 9 to make or save pdfs

When using adobe acrobat 9 pro, I have had the experience of Firefox freezing in a "thinking mode" or just straight crashing when printing a pdf of a web page, or even saving a pdf that downloaded. Sometimes, an error stating adobe acrobat plugin failed will load, but not always.

Safari and Firefox crash when using Adobe Shockwave

Hi
I have done some research and it seems that this is an old problem but I haven't managed to find a solution. I am trying to watch an animation that uses Adobe Shockwave. I have run it on my old PC using explorer and there isn't a problem bit when i run it on my Mac it shuts down the browser and says there is an error with the IMLLib plug-in.
Does anyone know what this means?
I have uninstalled everything and installed latest versions of everything and still it kicks me out!!!
Any tips advice or info would be very much appreciated!

Error in Report Using XMLP without report builder

Recently I came to know about the building the report using the XMLPublisher instead of Report Builder.
So i tried it But ended with error Please help me where I went wrong.
I have Created the Concurrent program with the Executable Type as 'XDODTEXE' and of Output type as 'XML'.
And

Use Analysis Process Designer (RSANWB) to feed each of the survey BEX reports to one DSO. Assuming each of the surveys has something in common to compare. Could also be used as a snapshot storage for the surveys in case history needs to be compared/archived.
Build the Direct update DSO with the survey objects. Add needed time characteristics and/or version control objects to the key.
Data sources will be the 5 surveys.
Add formula to hardcode version/time for history.
Data target is the direct update DSO.

Firefox crashes when using Adobe Flash

I am using the newest version of Firefox (5.0.1) and the newest version of Adobe Flash (10.3.183.5) without any other add-ons. For some reason Firefox keeps crashing when playing Flash. Anything from Youtube, Flash webpages, online games, etc. It's not just the Flash add-on that crashes, but the entire browser.
I have to force it to close it via Task Manager (Windows 7 Professional).
When looking at the crash reports (about:crashes), it says there are none.
I have tried restarting, uninstalling both add-on and browser and I have even reinstalled my entire operating system. Nothing has changed.
This is obviously not my fault. Please fix this.
